I would highly recommend this clinic! I was traveling from Calgary and had chipped a tooth on the way. It was a Friday and no clinic could get me in due to being short staffed or fully booked. Southland was the only one that offered to take my number in case they could fit the me in. I left and was very surprised to get a call about 15 minutes later. The dentist was done early with an appointment and they were able to get me in. I was fixed up and on my way in no time. The dentist and the staff are amazing and the cost reasonable. If I need major work done in the future, I would probably consider traveling to get it done at this clinic.

Such great, friendly people. Took my almost 5 year old son for a cleaning and they were very patient and understanding with him. Went to Southland Dental today for the first time for just a routine teeth cleaning. I haven't been to the dentist in a shamefully long time, but this was a very pleasant, anxiety free dentist experience. I've had a lot of dental work done since I was a child which has typically made visiting the dentist a fairly stressful event, but Southland Dental did a great job in every way. The cleaning itself went by really quickly and comfortably (it helps that they have a tv set up that you can watch Netflix on while they do their work!), and the hygienist was very gentle and thorough. The dentist explained my x-rays in a very easy to understand and honest way, and I am all set up to visit again in a few months to take care of a small issue they noticed with one of my molars. I would definitely recommend this place!

Usually I don't take well to numbing but having this new option (that I've never had at other dentists) was awesome and worked great! No pain for application and it worked extremely well! Very impressed with all my experiences here. Started bringing the entire family here about a year ago and very happy we made the switch. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, and they are great with kids. I don't have the best teeth and felt very judged in previous experiences with other dentist offices. But have never felt uncomfortable a single time here, quite the opposite actually. Well deserved 5 stars.

I have been a patient of Southland Dental for a long time and have had pretty much every dental procedure done there - from fillings, root canals, extractions, working on 1st dental implant, hygiene, etc. I am very pleased with the clinic and helpful staff as well as excellent service from the dentists. I highly recommend them :) I deal with Dr. Raj and he is excellent at what he does. He shares the required steps/procedures with his patients, checks in to ensure the patient understands the overall plan and is very comforting to deal with. I have had a few longer procedures done by him and they all went great, no issues during or after. I have full confidence in him and as such, even the worst of dental appointments are not so bad :)

When I first called I was greeted with a warm voice who took time to listen to me and calm my nerves around finding a new dentist in town. We even shared a laugh on the phone which is comforting given current circumstances. During an emergency visit (boo toothaches!) they were very considerate of explaining everything that was most needed and went over pricing, because sadly, I do not have coverage. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Wong who kindly told me to call him Jerry. The dental assistant was very helpful and friendly. I felt relaxed and welcomed; all in all a great place to help a person take care of their dental health! 10/10 recommend.

I was always worried about going to the dentist because when I was younger it was painful from start to finish. It is so nice to go to Southland dental where the staff know you would rather be almost anywhere but getting your teeth worked on. I never felt judged for not having the teeth that I wish I had. Or the stains from food and drinks. The dentists at Southland Dental want you to be out of pain and well taken care of. I know that they will try to get you in as soon as possible. Recovery time (no swelling and no pain) for a medium to difficut surgical procedure for me was less than 24 hrs. The office staff is amazing as well, and was able to accommodate me for a same day appointment when I needed an urgent root canal. I used to have a fear of going to the dentist prior to finding this office. Now, when I needed a dental procedure that I would normally have put off for as long as possible before, I didn't hesitate to call them! I’ve been going to Southland dental for many years now. I called the office as I had a tooth that was casing me some pain. They were able to get me in right away. I saw Dr. Cao for the fist time and he was fantastic. I’m very nervous when it comes to dental treatment and I ‘m sure he could tell but he and his assistant made me very comfortable. In fact, he had to do a filling for me and I did not feel any pain at all. Not even getting the freezing done! All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Thankyou Dr. Cao and staff for everything!
