My husband and I love Serenity Dental! We've been going for several years and always have great service! The place is nicely decorated and each room has a different colour theme which is really nice and relaxing. All the staff are friendly and Dr Mangat is a great, reliable dentist. They don't charge over the MB fee guide so the prices are very reasonable! We highly recommend!

They have wonderful service! I wasn't a client prior to this - I had awful pain in my mouth and I didn't know what it was. This place was the only place I could find that was open on a Saturday and take me as a walk in patient. They were able to figure out what it was and book me in as soon as possible for surgery. This was my first oral procedure and I was nervous but all the staff was excellent! Thank you

I have gone to serenity dental randomly through out the past 3/4 years for getting filling repairs or filled. most experiences have been great and they have been very accommodating to not use any techniques that were over priced or not covered by insurance (a 60.00 shot of cold air from a can...really? thanks for taking that off my bill) My last experience was not that great as i went in with tooth pain that was causing a migraine and pain down into my neck. I pointed to exactly where the tooth pain was (up near my canine) and somehow ended up having my far back molar filled instead. also paid 150.00 more then the estimate was (which was the estimate for my canine). when she finished, the dentist said that i would need a 1000.00 cap put on the tooth she just did. I have no insurance anymore so getting a cap is not something i budgeted for at all. Months later and i still have pain in my canine and periodical toothache related migraines. and my wallet is alot lighter...maybe thats where my headache is coming from.

she was doing work on my teeth until she said she'll be back in 25 minutes then she came back after 45 minutes. on that day i waited for almost 4 hours. it was very uncomfortable because they had that thing in mouth for most of the time. it was a bad experience.

Let me start by saying that I have gone for 6 years without smiling. I was an expert at giving the closed mouth grin without showing teeth; those in the know will understand. I had a family wedding coming up, and though I battle anxiety and a few other illnesses, I truly wanted to smile without feeling self conscience, or even eat in public for that matter. Then I happened upon Serenity Dental and Dr. Mangat; a true blessing in disguise. And yes, as per other posts, her office space is spa like, but more importantly she and her team truly care. I explained my predicament and desire to smile at this important family event. She and her team went out of their way to make it happen. Dr. Mangat worked with me to define the best approach to gain the smile back I had since lost. From the gals at reception, the hygienist, to her assistants; and yes, her husband too; I felt I was in good hands. It’s not easy for me to trust and feel comfortable, least of all at a dentists’ office; this was not the case here. They allowed me to bring in my own meditation cd’s, and were most compassionate in helping me work through what needed to be done. Yes, I now have a smile I can be proud of, but more importantly to me is that I found a place where I can honestly say I truly trust all of the people who work there, but somehow for what they do “work” just doesn’t seem to fit. They are healers and helpers in making all of us better…one smile at a time. : )

Assistant are good but not the Dentist, she always in hurry, never focus on single patient, sometime have to wait 20 to 30 minutes after cleaning. It not professional if you can't time management, finally out from there and saved my dental benefits

Serenity Dental is warm and welcoming right when you walk through the door. The waiting area is a very relaxing environment. The front desk staff greets you with smiles and offers you to help yourself to refreshments while you wait for your appointment. Once the hygienist is ready you are greeted again with smiles and everything is done to assure you are comfortable for the entirety of your appointment. I personally have dealt with Becky and she is a sweet and kind hygienist who does an excellent job. Of course Dr. Mangat takes time go over every patients circumstances. Followed by recommendation for the best course of action. At the front desk Lisa is very informative about what insurance coves and she works around your schedule to book future appointments. Your comfort and giving you the best dental care is a priority above all.

For 20+ years I've lived in extreme pain from my bad teeth. Since I could not afford the fix I just did best I could. This year my wonderful daughter wanted to give me a 60th BD present.....full dental work...her treat. Was thrilled because serenity knew me well because I brought my daughter there for ALL her teeth needs. Told them MANY TIMES their 'freezing' does NOT WORK on me. Told them I MUST BE PUT OUT... THEY SAID NO PROBLEM... we have stuff that works. IT DID NOT. Mind you I expected some pain. However.... this pain was much worse. Here is my beef... (sorry just want context) FOR A FULL WEEK....THE DR WAS TO CALL ME....FOR FOLLOWUP..... Seems she was too busy for a PAYING CUSTOMER. Three times I told them I could not take codeine. They prescribed it anyway. UPDATE 09/17/20 -- JUST LETTING YOU UNPROFESSIONAL DENTISTS KNOW BY DOING MY PROCEDURE SO BAD YOU NOW ARE OUT 5 THOUSAND BUCKS THAT YOU WILL NEVER SEE. BRAVO! Service is #1 with me. This office does not even deserve 1 star. Unprofessional. UN-Compassionate. and now.....out of ANY further business from me or anyone who asks me. I HAVE ALSO RECOMMENDED MY DAUGHTER TO TAKE HER FULLY PAID BUSINESS TO MY NEW DENTIST.

The staff at Serenity Dental provide a very stress-free dental going experience. They aim to make you feel comfortable at every step of your appointment. The process of becoming a new patient was filling a very simple, but thorough, form to address all my needs. I first went for a cleaning which was top notch, gentle and quick. I later had a filling done by Dr. Mangat and was very impressed with how quick and painless it was. Dr. Mangat is the best dentist I have had.

At some point I really enjoyed coming here, the dentist and staff were super nice and friendly. Its nicely decorated and relaxing. I have been through bad experience with a dentist years ago. I was affraid to go to any dentist and coming here I was comfortable and satisfied that the dentist cleaned and fixed up my teeth that were damaged. This past January I went in because I had an issue with a front tooth and it happen to be a root canal repair. The dentist said that she was or suppose to referral me to specialist but I HAVEN'T gotten a response. I have tried to phoned but no answer. It seems to me you guys forgetten about me. I am no longer going to be coming here anymore.

My experience at Serenity Dental was not a pleasant experience at all. Here are the reasons for one star rating. First off, It's winter and you have to take your shoes off at the door there, but people are walking in and out with their shoes on and there are puddles from the snow to get your feet wet. Secondly, I had a 12:00 appointment there but I had to wait almost an hour to get in. It was very busy there that day so I can understand the wait. 3rd issue and most important issue I had was, I had made an appointment for an examination and 2 x-rays on a tooth that I had a cavity in. They took the two x-rays but did not examine the tooth at all. She did not even look in my mouth. I had to ask to see the x-rays and after quickly discussing my options, (which were root canal, extraction or implant.) she picked up my coat and handed it to me as if to rush me out. Very unprofessional in my opinion. Now the reason for this behavior. IMO I was treated like this because they wanted to do a full checkup. But I told them I only wanted the examination because I have no insurance, and I'm unemployed and I knew I needed a root canal that would cost 1-2 thousand dollars out of my pocket which I don't have. I did walk in wearing nice clothes because I like to look decent and I think based on my appearance they thought I was being cheap. She judged me as if she knew my situation which she obviously did not, and that's besides the point. She should not be judging people and just do her job. Very unprofessional. I will not go back there again. I did receive a phone call from her with an apology after this review, (which I was happy to hear it) and I did except the apology. She explained to me that these were not her intentions, but my review will remain.

I have been seeing Dr Mangat as a patient for over 10 years. I would never trust anyone else with my teeth. Everyone I know sees her after my recommimdation and they all love her. She is very friendly, kind, and pleasant to be around. She has always been thorough in her work and sometimes that causes her to run behind, but i would rather wait a few extra minutes knowing she is not cutting any corners on the patient before me and she will then do the same quality of work on my teeth. The clinic is very clean, relaxing, and comfortable.

I can’t give negative stars. Service started out good but the service go worst over the years. Went for a cleaning at a set time, was taken into the room and was left sitting in the chair waiting for someone to show up for over 45 minutes. Finally got up and walked out never to return. Every time after a checkup always had a cavity or two and they always wanted to use up my insurance by the end of the year. Since moving on to a new dentist three years ago I have been cavity free!

In 2014/2015 they did a deep filling in one of my lower molars. My last visit with them was in the summer of 2015, I cancelled my next appointment because Serenity Dental was just too far from where I live. They never notified me about my tooth or how I would need endodontic treatment in the future, I guess they expected me to continue going to them forever. I would of at least expected a phone call or email stating that there was a tooth that needed to be under close care and watch. Fast forward 2 years later, not once did I get a call from Serenity Dental. Four days ago, when I was in EXCRUICIATING pain, I made an appointment with Polo Park Dental and they got me in the same day. They looked at the x-rays that were taken by Serenity in 2015 and they saw what was the beginning of an infected tooth, which Serenity Dental did not notify me of. To make matters worse, I recently turned 21 and was not covered under my parents' insurance, so I had to pay for my root canal right out of my savings, when it would of been 100% covered if Serenity would of told me of the problem and I would of asked for it to be fixed as soon as possible. I hope no one else will ever have to go through this experience. Yes, you could point out the obvious, that I never went back there so its my fault, but at that time I had no idea that my tooth was going to need a root canal. I had already started looking for other dental places in my area. The problem here is a lack of communication.

Never really liked Dentists but thought I could get a nicer smile. Looking around, I was lucky enough to find Serenity Dental and I now really like Dentists. Got my teeth cleaned, some fillings and getting braces. Zero pain, excellent work plus extremely nice people that work there. I highly recommended them for any dental needs. I Might actually be looking forward to getting a puck in my mouth just to get some more work done. They are that good!!

I don't generally review places but I felt compelled to share my experience with others. The office is warm and inviting and the assistants are very friendly and insanely nice, however the estimates are extremely inaccurate! Not once, but THREE times I had to pay over $200 above the estimated cost for a filling. The worst part is it's not till you go to leave and pay that they tell you that, they did say it would be slightly over but $200 isn't slight to me. I will not be back unfortunately as it was a comfortable experience which is rare for dental offices. If you are on a budget, or don't have insurance.. not recommended!!

I have a serious phobia of dentists which kept me away for many years. I had serious dental issues. My wife googled "sedation dentistry" and we found Serenity Dental. Had 1 appt to see about having teeth pulled and 2 weeks later had them pulled, all under sedation. It was an excellent experience and will refer anyone that needs dental care to Serenity Dental! I don't know what to say. I came here because of the great reviews, and the amazing descriptions they have on their website. My experience, however, was horrid. I wanted to try the sedation dentistry for the same reason most of us want it: I hate dental work. It was a great first-time experience, but I am slightly boggled as to why I have not even had a follow-up phone call, or any post-operation communication to speak of. Their description says on here they believe "in building long-lasting relations with our patients based on trust." Every other dentist I have been to calls me regularly to schedule check-ups and dental work that has not been completed yet, yet they couldn't even follow up on a first-time sedated patient! To top it off, they had me pay with my debit card after the operation while I was STILL sedated, AND the same toothache has come back within less than two months. Two days after, I found a receipt and a prescription for some drug I never knew I had. You'd think they would follow up after giving you drugs and sending you off with a random prescription. The pharmacist said it was for swelling, and that I probably wouldn't need it days after the operation, but I never had any swelling, so I don't understand. Pitiful. I still have a few teeth that need serious dental work, and usually when there is work to be done, a business would be jumping on that opportunity to use demonstrate their practice. I am still waiting on a call months later. I would call them myself, but this is just common courtesy that most modern businesses use. I was very pleased with the sedation, and didn't have that fear of needles and hands in my mouth in once the drugs kicked in, but due to a lack of courtesy, and the fact that the same teeth still hurt, I cannot recommend Serenity Dental. I am now looking for a proper dentist which offers sedative services, which can at least pretend to show a genuine care for their patients. Their description says on here they believe "in building long-lasting relations with our patients based on trust." I only had one visit and still have numerous problem teeth to finish. Such a shame, I was really excited when I found this place.

Where to start, I changed over to a new dental office, and for a good reason. I recently booked a cleaning here as my current dental office is booked into October. I arrived a few minutes before my cleaning. The hygienist was late 15 minutes, not a big deal. He was scrambling for tools for another 15 minutes, also not a big deal unless I am being charged for the time. The cleaning goes well, finished in about 40-45 minutes including polishing. The hygienist was nice, knowledgeable, and my gums weren't sore or bleeding. I asked the hygienist "how many units was I charged for?" He responded "2.5-3 scaling units", and I am fine with this, considering the 30 minutes with no cleaning commencing. The dentist later comes in to do an examination, which wasn't necessary as I was only there for the cleaning. She was fairly rough with my teeth, instantly causing gum pain and bleeding. Enough bleeding that she required the hygienist to grab her gauze. After the examination I go to the front with the dentist, and the office attempts to pressure me into signing over my x-rays from my current dentist. Which of course I don't sign. On top of that I now find out I was not charged 3 units, but 5 units! (1 unit of polishing) for less than an hour of being in the chair. I ask the receptionist "what is considered a unit", she says "it can be 7-12mins". 15 minutes is the standard unit at most dental offices. Tessa was the receptionist. I witnessed her snap on a coworker while waiting. She also scoffed and rolled her eyes when I wouldn't sign over my x-rays. Tessa has a horrible attitude towards her coworkers and customers. Maybe it was a one off, regardless.. definitely not coming back.

Last August I came in for a wisdom tooth removal. During the procedure they chipped the tooth beside it. The dentine was exposed and it become very sensitive. I went back 5 days later so they could do something about it, and they were very passive about it. They took x-rays and the dentist just looked at it and shaved it down a bit (which didn't address the real problem) and told me to come back if it still bothered me. After how the last 2 appointments went, I didn't feel comfortable doing that

Going for treatment after 1 year (due to COVID), I was not having the best time at my previous dental office and was recommended Serenity Dental. I have been here twice now, once for scaling and once for a filling. The hygienist was very reassuring and the client care I could tell was genuine - I also had no trouble with pain as she was gentle but effective. My second visit was for a re-do of a filling (one poorly done by a previous dentist elsewhere). I could tell Dr. Mangat suggested this filling be redone for the benefit of my bite - rather than just for the sake of doing dental work - and I appreciate the overall consistently in care the entire staff offered. Dental offices can be tough environments to both work with and be clients of, and though at times any dental office can have its issues - Serenity Dental seems to handle mishaps much better as they seem to work better as a team in comparison to previous offices I've worked with. I am sure I will return.
