I chipped one of my front teeth off and Dr. Stein did his very best effort to put in a new one. Now you can't even tell the fake tooth apart from the others thanks to the people who made it and Dr. Stein's work.

This is no standard dental office. The work performed here is by far superior to other dentists I have visited. Dr. Stein and his team take great care in their work. My children even enjoy their visits! The support staff are always polite and friendly. They go the extra mile to ensure you get what you need. Three generations of my family go to Dr. Leon Stein. I personally have been going to see him for almost 45 years. He is a thorough professional who prides himself on excellent work. His staff are always friendly and do their best to get you in at a time that works for you. Dr. Stein is very good at anticipating potential issues and will recommend proactive action only when necessary. In my years of going there, any procedure I’ve had has been painless. Following any work, he makes sure you are satisfied with the results. I’ve never had any reoccurring problems with any of his work and would highly recommend him for anyone looking for an excellent family dentist.

I've been going here for the last 26 years. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Dr. Stein is honest and not pushy and reccomends the best treatment and lets YOU decide what you want to do. Very busy place but if you book in advance you'll have no problems getting in.

I can preface by saying that I have historically hated going to the dentist and never imagined leaving a 5 star review for the person putting needles in my yapper. That being said, I have been visiting Dr. Stein for about 5 years now. Dr. Stein is as much an artist is he is a dentist, he takes special care and pride in his work, and takes the time to really walk you through all the work being performed. The Team at Markham Dental is top notch, from friendly greetings at the door, to happy hygienists, I can nearly say that I look forward to metal implements in my mouth.

Dr. Stein is a very good dentist. The first time I saw him to have a tooth pulled. I thought he still has to put more freezing in but he had already finished pulling the tooth! He is very friendly and professional. I highly recommend him.

Recently had a check up and crown procedure performed at Markham dental. As a preface, I am not a huge fan of the dentist on account of some bad experiences as a child. Dr. (Leon) Stein was very pleasant and calming. Took the time to reassure throughout the procedure and freezing was done with almost zero discomfort, didn’t even notice the needle. The work was done very well and everything feels natural. Support staff was also great, very friendly and did good work. Would recommend this office to anyone.

I can’t thank Dr. Stein at Markham Dental enough. Several years ago I was recommended to go and see Dr. Stein and as someone who has a fear of the dentist I was definitely reluctant. I was assured that with Dr. Stein’s calm, cool demeanour that my view of going to the dentist would change. This was the absolute truth. Dr. Stein is so easy going, patient and understanding. He always takes his time to walk me through everything he is doing, checks how I am feeling and has an amazing team who will take care of you as well (friendly, polite and extremely helpful). Dr. Stein is professional and kind, has a passion for his work and takes great pride in his practice. He always asks how my dog is doing and I am forever grateful to my friend who connected us! He is The worst dentist I have ever seen. Don’t ever plan to go there. It looks like he is an agent not a dentist!!! He charges a lot and also do so many extra things which are not needed at all just to charge you more! Definitely the worst experience I had I will never go back there. From the moment I walked in the door to when I had my root canal I felt welcomed and cared for. The dental hygienist Edith was wonderful and went above and beyond so that I felt confident and safe before my procedure. Dr. Stein was also a gem! I left happy and without any pain. Wouldn’t recommend anyone else!

The wonderful ladies that work the front went out of their way to ensure the doctor saw me immediately.
