After ten-plus years of sub-par treatment, I stopped going. (You'd think that if a long-time patient says he's had a problem with service, then the dentist might call to resolve the issue? Guess again. I never heard from them.) But since my wife's family had gone here for decades, I told them that the rest of our family would continue to go there. The office's reaction -- even though I explicitly told them otherwise (twice!) -- was to decide that no one in my family was visiting again. I found this out when I called to schedule a check-up for my child.

Had my first appointment at Dentistry on Liverpool today and Zara did an amazing job cleaning my teeth, and her positive energy made the whole experience great. Exceptionally better with her tools, scaler/scraper whatever those metal picks are, compared to other hygienists I’ve been to at different clinics that have made my gums feel like they’re going through torture. And Dr. Goldberg examined my teeth after my cleaning and was very knowledgeable and insightful, seems like there is a great team of people working at this dentistry, will recommend and return.

I suggest that the dentist should give an estimate quote for the treatment or examination ... I just wanted to have my teeth cleaned and get a general check there , in the end I was charged almost $800 !!! My insurance covered some , but I still have to pay almost $200 ... especially they didn’t let me know that the insurance didn’t cover the part I was charged for ...below is the part of the receipts ... I wanted to book my kids there too ,but I don’t think it’s a good choice ...

Office is always very organized, and specially now with COVID. Appointment even started a few mins early and staff were great. Take my kids here and they are really good with kids and not making them feel nervous or pressured and engaged in what is happening. Rooms are clean and not cluttered.

The office is VERY clean and beautiful, and they take all the Covid safety and cleaning precautions, which made me feel safe. I had Jessica the dental hygienist today and she was very thorough, quick with her measurements of my gums (which is something I usually hate having done when I go to the dentist), and friendly but professional. I really enjoyed my experience today! I also had Dr. Fen (or is it Fenn, sp?) as my dentist and she was lovely! It was my first dental experience since having my child in July and everything was clean and I didn't feel nervous about COVID one bit. Great job, ladies! No cavities for me. :)

I personally cannot handle the sounds of the drills or suction etc. It’s like nails on a chalkboard for me and she gets it. Dr. Waks is gentle, friendly and patient. She genuinely seems to care for her patients and that’s very important to me I’d recommend her to anybody in need of a dentist especially if they’re like me and are not fans of the noise in a dental office.

Best dental experience I've ever had, with the COVID shutting everything down, I put my name on waiting list and LIVERPOOL DENTISTRY called and Dr, WAKS and Judy were amazing however and unfortunetly my filling with hard brushing was broken a bit so I dropped in for an appoint. and same day service and booked a cleaning and Jessica was very good and proffesional with the cleaning.I'm really happy to recommend Dentistry on Liverpool as IMO that's what Pickering's been needing for a long time. COVID screenings/ procedures are well put in place (i.e., Screenings, temperature checks, social distancing, designated entrances and exits) Simone, my assigned hygienist, was super welcoming and outgoing! She checked up on me, throughout my appointment, to make sure I was doing okay (keeping your jaw opened with TMJ issues can be a pain lol). She has such a light hand, but was still able to efficiently do what she needed to do. Thanks, Simone! :) Been coming to DOL for a couple of years. I'm from Pickering, but currently staying in Toronto. Making the drive up just for an appointment at DOL is worth it. 10/10!

I’ve had full dental restoration which was recently completed by Dr. Ana Aleinikov and the result is a Picasso work of art. Perfect bite and brand new pearly smile! I wanted a healthy set of teeth and gums so a great deal of planning and work was needed lucky for me Dentistry on Liverpool had Dr. Ana a precise meticulous dentist and Sandi the Treatment Coordinator to guide me along the way. They made me feel I am in control of my treatment with honesty and compassion. They truly care and on ‘every visit’ from the receptionists, hygienist and dental assistants they are all nice and professional as well. My whole family been patients here for 20+ years and now also my 5 year old grandson, he loves it here! That tells you a lot about this place. They live in downtown Toronto and travel to DOL for their regular dental check-up. Easily the best dentistry around. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Have lived many other cities but have always come back. Would definitely recommend: if you don't like going to the dentist, the experience here might change your mind.

This dental office would not sell me a plastic syringe for cleaning gums. They were forcing me to see a dentist in order to then purchase a $5 syringe even though they have sold me a syringe in the past and already diagnosed me! Very bad customer service and a complete waist of time.

I am a huge scaredy-cat when it comes to dentists so I was very apprehensive into going, but i had a sharp pain in my mouth so no choice. It’s been 5 years since I’ve been in there but they assessed the area of concern took x-rays to confirm and it’s a gap in an older filling which will get redone. With my sensitivity they numbed the area and started the cleaning. Everyone from the desk staff to the ladies who worked on my mouth (Hannah) were very pleasant and reassuring. Even the Dentist who took a look at my filling was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend Dentistry on Liverpool. I found out that ROOT CANALS are not painful. I experienced my first yesterday and was quite amazed. Hearing all the horror stories over the years had me so terrified. I would like to think that it was the Doctor's expertise and his Assistant's attention to detail that made the difference. The shots and the sedation probably also helped. Anyway, thanks to all for making this a memorable and positive event. I hope to never have another but if I did...I would not lose any sleep over it.

I have had some bad experiences with dental offices in my history that had led me really reluctant to make appointments. My experience with Dentistry on Liverpool has been much better. The experience from door to chair is very streamlined, and the knowledge and care has been great. I have been going for a year and a half at the time of this review and they have really helped get my oral health back on track (without judgement, which is nice)

Office is bright and clean. Hygienist and dentist are friendly and informative. Made my anxious child feel comfortable and explained everything to her. Dentist didn’t recommend any unnecessary treatments or procedures. The office staff are helpful and friendly. Great experience overall.
