Great dentist, very understanding and willing to work with you everything and very understanding of financial situations. She was the only dentist that would take me in and fix my teeth up and recently as well. If you want an understanding dentist, go to Dr.Amos. she's is awesome

Today was the second visit to Doctor Amos In as many years. I do not have insurance or disability so I pay for each visit out of pocket. This review is coming from experience and value. I have been to at least 12 dentists from Vancouver Island, through the provinces to here on the east coast. This I can tell you; both visits here have been two of my best experiences. Experienced, organized, well equipped and able to to think quick on their feet. Lastly, my proceedures (and they were pretty serious) were handled with the utmost of precision and comfort. Definitely our family dentist on the East Coast. Thank you, to you and your staff.

Horrible my wife called to enquire about an extraction they initially told her they would do payment with a credit card. They the called back and said she had a missed appointment fee from a few years ago (which) she doesn't even recall and said they can't do it unless she paid everything in full. She has went a few years ago to have an extraction done as well and Sr Amos left part of her tooth in her mouth which the gums have now grown over causing her even more pain

A recent post reminded me about my experience with Dr. Amos when I was a child and I feel it’s important to share. My Mom took me in as a young girl because I needed a cavity filled. When I went back in the room I told her I was scared and she told me to stop being such a baby. At one point she grabbed my face very hard and was shushing me when I was crying. She ended up pulling two of my teeth without even asking my mother first. My Mom was in a rage when I came out and she found out what happened. She wrote the dental board about the situation and at one point we talked to a lawyer, but it all kind of fizzled out. I still have anxiety about going to the dentist to this day.
