I went to the clinique Dentaire de l’Avenir on Thursday December 17th. It was my first time at the clinic. From the moment I walked in I was not well received by the receptionist. I have never been talked to this way before. It was rude and disrespectful. I called back an hour later to get the name of the woman who talked to me this way. Nathalie is the lady who was extremely rude to me. Worst customer service I experienced. Maybe Nathalie was having a bad day but this is no excuse to treat a customer this way. She is representing the clinic. It is the first contact with clients. Completely unacceptable. After reading some of the reviews as well I can see its recurring a lot. All of the bad ones are about the service from reception. I do not recommend. Step your game up Nathalie and show more empathy maybe ? Service a la clientele does not seem like ur strong suit. Je rappelle à la clinique du Dr Galant, elle accepte de refaire cette couronne. Trois heures sur sa chaise à nouveau, pourtant, sur les radios on voyait que cette couronne n’était pas bien cimenté, pourquoi ne pas m’avoir prévenue .... Le coût, 3 000$ dollars, mon conjoint voit un excellent dentiste, et une couronne lui a coûté 1 100$, Il est sorti de ce rendez-vous en pleine forme sans douleur et antibiotique contrairement à moi. Si j’avais su, j’aurais économisé 800 $ et des souffrances. J’ai ma leçon et je sais où aller à l’avenir.

Cancelled on me the day before my consultation appointment (that was booked over a month ago). Very unprofessional and disappointing move. Having second thoughts about trusting this place for the many (and costly) repairs I'm going to need... Edit: When I booked a second appointment and showed them my recent panoramic X-ray (done elsewhere), I was told the image "wasn't clear enough" and that I'd have to get bitewing X-rays (or else they wouldn't look at my mouth). I felt pressured so I refused and went to two other places, where I didn't have that problem and where the dentists came to the same conclusion just by looking at my mouth and panoramic X-ray. In a few words, trying to make quick money with extra X-rays I didn't need ended up costing them the "bigger" money I would've paid for my actual treatment.

I had an issue with snoring at night. These guys were very professional. I took an appointment with Dr. Alain Methot and he checked and gave me a customized mouth guard. Since then, I sleep very well and everything has been fixed since I went to this clinic. If you have any issues like mine call these guys they will take care of you with extreme professionalism. En revanche, je ne remets pas en question les talents du dentiste, juste son manque de tact. Je ne recommande pas cette clinique si vous êtes pressés ou si vous avez une crainte des dentistes.

Mais le pire c'est que malgré le fait que j'avais demandé un rendez-vous suffisamment long pour réparer une dent dont la douleur était vive, on a refusé de me traiter par manque de temps. On m'a fait beaucoup attendre pour rien en plus de me charger le gros prix et de me laisser partir sans traitement avec ma douleur. Dr Gallant ne m'a même pas donné une prescription pour un anti-douleur afin de me soulager. Un réflexe que même une réceptionniste ailleurs a eu. Quelle perte de temps, j'ai dû tout reprendre ailleurs. Il pousse également beaucoup pour un traitement de canal même si ce n'est pas nécessaire. Au final, on ne traite pas les chiens de la sorte. D'ailleurs, lorsque je vais chez le vétérinaire pour mon chien il est mieux traité qu'à la clinique dentaire de l'Avenir on ne laisse pas un chien souffrir inutilement. À l'évidence, ils ne sont pas du tout à l'écoute du client. Je suggère d'éviter cette clinique inhumaine et hors de prix. Cela mérite une plainte en déontologie.

I recently started going to this clinic and i am very pleased with DR. Gallant. She is very thorough and gentle, but what i appreciate the most is that she is very approachable and genuinely cares about her patients. My only complaint is that there was a problem with my scheduled visit; the nice ladies at reception booked me at 12:30pm, but the hygienist said i was booked at 1pm. I had a confirmation text from the clinic on my phone as proof. The hygienist proceded by blaming me for not letting her have a lunch break and gave me attitude, which made me feel like i was being a nuisance. I'm keeping all my confirmation emails and texts from the clinic from now on, just in case. Other than this, i am extremely satisfied with the clinic's receptionists and dentists.

I just moved to Laval and I was looking for a new dentist for me and my family so I looked up for dentists who have late hours and found this clinic. I called on Friday at 4:40pm and asked the receptionist if the clinic accepts new customers. She started saying yes and suddenly she stopped and told me she has a customer at the moment and that she was all alone and busy. She asked me if i could give her my number so she can call me back. I expected her to call me within the next 10 min but no phone call. The clinic was closing at 5pm so I guess the receptionist didnt feel like calling the new customer cuz she was probably rushing to leave. Its Monday and I still didnt get a call.
