My teeth require a lot of work. When I first started visits with Dr. Sophie, I didn't know how to keep my teeth clean. Despite many warnings from my previous dentist, I didn't wear braces to correct my very crooked teeth. This meant that my haphazard oral hygiene routine didn't really keep out the plaque, and so my gums were receding. When I first arrived, at her office, Dr. Sophie gave me a thorough lesson on brushing and flossing, and scheduled me for a series of deep cleanings. Dr. Sophie has made sure I've kept up with my oral hygiene since then, and provides an annual oral check-up as well. I've also required a number of fillings. My teeth are in good shape and I'm keeping them clean even though I recently made the leap to braces at a nearby orthodontists office.

When searching for the right dentist I definitely have HIGH expectations. I spend quite a bit of time taking care of my teeth and going to appointments that it has certainly become a priority finding the best dental care. Willowbrook Dental Clinic has provided and fulfilled those needs and more! Dr. Sophie and her friendly staff are more like visiting friends. The staff is helpful and accommodating and extremely knowledgeable and thorough at what they do. I know I'm in great hands with Dr. Sophie’s gentle and confidant demeanor!! I Love this place :)

HORRIBLE - Please avoid this dentist - I wouldn't recommended this dentist to anyone. Awful customer service. My experience left my boyfriend and I feeling robbed, undermined and defeated. My boyfriend went in to a surgery removing all four of his wisdom teeth, a young new patient, first time using his medical coverage plan, the receptionist told him he would only pay 10% of the surgery because his medical covered it. The receptionist, Joyce, told him he was covered for 90% under his medical. Before the surgery he asked her to check if he was to be put out if it would cost him, said she didn't know and she'd check for him, she never did and he was rushed into the surgery. When I came to pick him up after the surgery, him completely sedated, she tells me he has an almost 800$ bill he has to pay from the surgery right then! Because, wait, turns out he had maxed out his plan. They never told him going into the surgery the plan was maxed out and the difference would cost out of pocket.. This was in December, the holidays right around the corner... He had never used his medical and he made that very very clear. Keep in mind that he had been waiting a month for his appointment to get his teeth removed and they made him get a lot of minor work prior... If he had known he would max out and wasn't covered 90% like they had told him, he would have gotten only one wisdom tooth pulled, as he was in a large amount of pain from one tooth. When he gets out of the surgery the receptionist Joyce tells him he needs to pay the owing amount immediately. Then proceeds to tell him he can't talk about it with me because he's sedated. It felt to me like she was trying to cover her mistakes and take the payment immediately, all while he's sedated! I then told them he cant pay that right now as he simply can't afford it, she rudely says "well it's all already done.". From there on out she them told him HE should look into his coverage, why wasn't this communicated prior and why did she say she would do it for him..? They didn't work with the medical plan or their client, they only cared about collecting payment and not how their customer was dealt with. Very unprofessional the entire experience, they've lost a new customer and all they care about now is the money, which I now know was their only concern from the get go. Also might I add that a lot of these reviews on here look like they are fake and generated by a computer... Which doesn't surprise me.

Everyone at Willowbrook Dental clinic office is committed to making each visit as positive as possible. All procedures are fully explained before they begin. Patients are encouraged to report the slightest discomfort during procedures (although they take every precaution to assure there is none). The front desk provides reminders of appointments - important in these busy times - and handles all the necessary communications with insurance companies. I've recommended this office to colleagues and friends, all of whom have reported the same positive experiences as I have had.

I have had crowns done and fillings replaced since going to Willowbrook Dental Clinic. I experienced no pain at all. The chairside manner and that of the stafff is outstanding. The office decor is warm and comfortable and the soft music is very relaxing. The cost is comparable to any other dentist in Langley. Jody at the front is wonderful at working with your insurance company to insure maximum allowable payments. Everyone one from the hygienists to the staff at the front desk is very professional. I have made several referrals to this office and will continue to do so. I am extremely satisfied with the work.

Please don’t go to this clinic for any dental treatment especially if you are person of colour. The receptionist are rude and disrespectful. I was on time for my appointment & had to wait for half an hour while they were accepting other clients whose appointment was afterwards. I confronted the receptionist who was dealing with me; she said the dentist is getting ready. I went there for cleaning but they suggested every scan that I didn’t needed. After I paid and went home , I realized they charged me more than I was supposed to pay. Before I drove back to them the same day, I phoned to inquire about my bill. The receptionist said that was the price the system was showing. For any person who can use calculator; it was obvious I was charged over just looking the paper work. When I got there I ask for manager to clarify the bill. I found out I was fully charged for one of treatments though they also claim the full amount from my insurance. The admin manager mentioned they were thinking to call me for refund once they got paid from my insurance. Which was obviously not true. It took me more than two months to receive my refund. Don’t go this place especially if you want to be treated equally with other people.

The Doctor and staff were very nice, and the Doctor took his time and was patient explaining everything to me, and was very understanding of my fear of dentists. Dr. Sophie is the best dentist you will ever find. After our kids had had an awful experience at another dentist and refused to go back, we took them to Dr. Sophie. She has relieved any stress that they had about going to the dentist. She is an incredibly kind dentist who thinks about her patients first. We consider it an honor to write a review about her. My M.D. recommended Dr. Sophie because I wanted to get my silver fillings replaced. As it happened one of those teeth broke and the others with the old silver fillings were cracking. I ended up getting some porcelain onlays. It was a big investment but it really made sense. Jody, the office manager, patiently educated me about all my options and helped me with understanding my insurance coverage. Dr. Sophie and her staff are compassionate and professional. I recommended them to a family member who was also very pleased. Make the change!

DO NOT go to this place. These people are horrible and scammers. I came in for the first time 2 months ago just for regular maintenance. The Dentists that saw me were 2 Asian fellows. They told me I needed a filling in one of my tooths (ive never had to get any work done on my teeth thank God because I take care of them so this came as a suprise to me) I'm not the expert so I told him that if he recommended it then fine. The day after I could not drink nor eat anything on the side of the my mouth because it hurt. 2 months later I still have issues! Thanks to that Dentist my tooth is screwed up!!! The only good dentist here is Dr. Garrett who has been trying everything to help me through this. I am so happy to hear he is leaving this place and moving his practice. He is too good of a dentist to be in a mediocre and incompetent place like this. Not only that but since the beginning the girls at reception kept trying to make me pay for the times I've gone even though I have DUAL insurance. Honestly this place is so not worth it. As soon as this place fixes what they messed up, I am NEVER coming here again. Dr. Garrett and his assistant (which I always forget her name) are simply great and I hope we can resolve what was done to my tooth soon.

I am no longer a client here and now they are billing my insurance for services from Oct 2018. I was not made aware of any outstanding balances on my last visit in May 2019. My previous dentists were less than steller. But I didn't know anything different. My wife got me in to see the dental team at Willowbrook Dental Clinic when I was in terrible pain. The doctor fixed the problem (an absess), and then fixed the other problems I didn't realize I had, and got me into taking better care of my teeth by showing the correct way to floss, brush etc. I now visit routinely....and they even write personal notes when I get busy and forget to get in for my 6 mos checkups. Definitely a winning office team.

I highly recommend Willowbrook dental. I had not been to a dentist since I was 12. I was scard for life when I was younger by dentists that clearly had no clue about what they were doing. One dentist I went to for a couple fillings, he numbed me but I believe he didn't do it properly because when he started drilling i felt EVERYTHING. He tried numbing me a bunch of times but failed, I felt the WHOLE procedure...everything! Every since that experience and a few other I cried and got super anxious just thinking about getting any dental work done. My teeth have gotten so bad that it was either go see a dentist or lose my front tooth among other things. I googled top dentist in Langley, BC and Willowbrook dental came up with a high rate of reviews and a 4.5 out of 5 rating I continued to read the reviews followed by visiting the website and reading up on the dentists that practice there. I liked what I read and decided to bite the bullet and call to explain my situation. The girls at the front are very friendly, understanding and accommodating - Tanya is awesome! I called on the Monday and they squized me in on the Thursday for xrays and an exam. When it came time for my appointment they were very welcoming. My xray and check up appointment went well with no hiccups, Dr.choi came up with a plan for me. They booked me in for the following day - THANKS TANYA!. I went in for my second appointment which consisted of getting a root canal. Saying that I was terrified is an understatement. Super long story short Dr.Emami and his assistant Krystal were amazing! Very understanding. I felt ZERO and I mean ZERO pain. ZERO. I am no longer scared and am going in to get more work done by Dr. Emami with out being anxious and fearful. If you are like me and don't know what to do cause your scared of the pain or have had past negative experiences, GO you will NOT regret it. It's never too late to get your teeth in order, trust me. I had a couple of filings done from Dr Choi and Kulbir was assisting him that day and it was as relaxing an experience as it could be at a dental clinic. The front staff was really understanding of the fact that I got stuck in traffic and still took me in. Also Steve is a wonderful hygienist that keeps educating you on gum health while cleaning. 10/10 would have this practice as my family dental office.

Good!...Very friendly, efficient. No complaints! Only thing maybe the pain when i had my cavities done (I think) the loud plastic suction thing that goes into half of one's mouth to prevent anything from being swallowed. I'm sure its the only way, but really the only thing i can think of that was disturbing...Otherwise, great :)

I actually liked this dental clinic until seeing they’re charging an extra $10 per appointment due to protective covid wear. There is no way it’s costing that much in PPE per appointment- they are capitalizing off of this pandemic and probably trying to make up for lost profits because a lot of people are uncomfortable going to a dental office. No other business that I’ve seen is charging extra fees - they just sell masks. I’ll be following Dr Garrett to Oral Health Solutions

He follows up with a phone call the day after a procedure, to check on your status. I would definitely recommend him without reservation. Dr. Tierney is my second dentist. The first was my father. I've always been treated with the utmost professionalism by Dr. Tierney and all members of his staff. Everyone is also friendly and considerate. On my most recent visit I was given a clean dental bill of health, with recommendations to be able to continue this. Emphasis is on prevention, but the times I've required a procedure, the outcome has been positive and long-lasting. He also tells me I'm a good patient, which my father never did. I can't comment on cost, but my insurance is always promptly billed.

Listen. Patience and Kindness really gets you far. I have a /severe/ fear of people, Anthropophobia. They were nothing but absolutely kind and accomodating! I'm pretty good at the whole "fake it till you make it" because I work with people too, but I didn't feel the need to here cause they were so kind. I didn't find myself overthinking every conversation I had with them when I got home. Thank you so much for everything you've done over the past few weeks. I had a sudden infection and a tooth that's been an issue for me for a while, and I just wanted it out. You guys made sure I was sure I wanted to pull it and ensured we could save it, but I was under so much pressure from my teeth that I just wanted it out. He didn't make me feel stupid or pressured he just wanted to make sure I was informed. It's really nice to get people like this when you have a hard time being around them. Thank you for what you do. You'll see me back when I've gained the courage to come out again and we can get the rest of my problematic jaw sorted.

Never have I ever enjoyed a trip to the dentist, and yet I loved this one! Visited this location for a consultation and was able to have my wisdom teeth extractions booked on the SAME day. The entire staff was extremely professional and courteous, Dr. Elena and Mursal specifically made me feel comfortable and safe despite my pre-op anxiety. Dr. Elena has rigorous training, extensive education and experience for these particular surgeries and it showed throughout the entire process. I highly recommend seeing her, especially if you need an extraction completed.

Dr Arlene replaced a couple of my old and cracked silver fillings. She showed me the X rays of the problem areas beforehand and clearly pointed out the issues and gave what I could understand very reasonable treatment recommendations without being pushy. The treatment was painless and overall, it was a very pleasant experience. I'd definitely recommend Dr. Arlene for anybody looking for a dentist in Langley.

There are so many receptionists that don’t write down critical information. I get passed around and have to re-explain myself 50 times when the first time it should have been noted into my file and reviewed. Came in for a exam and form filled out and they didn’t even know why I was there (asked why, tooth ache or something?) No. I already had the napkin on and was in the chair when asked this. And they lost my form a couple times??? I struggled for two weeks to get one form done and wasn’t informed my dentist was on vacation the whole week I was waiting for a call back, it took 7 phone calls and 2 reprints to get one form done. And the form wasn’t completely done and had to be re-faxed and this was an urgent document. Infection control I observed, the employees in the back shouldn’t have bracelets or rings on and loose hair to be 100% hygienic and I don’t believe anyone asked me about my health history. Overall very frustrated with every experience.

Was okay when I first started going but the old dentist retired. Now over the last 3 to 4 years I get a different dentist each time. Each dentist suggest different work to be done (unneeded crowns and caps, replace old fillings). The last straw was the hard push for a night guard that I do not need. I think as soon as they see you have Bluecross they push for an unneeded things like night guards to fix my bite. Well, I haven't had an issue with my bite for over 40 years. I gave 2 stars because the hygienists have been good. Also, lots of the reviews look fake.

Very unsympathetic and unprofessional dental experience. Went into clinic for problems with a capped front tooth that is on the verge of falling out for the fifth time in approximately six to seven years. Explained to new dentist the events leading up to this visit (original capping done by Dr. Steven Krieger; a Cloverdale dentist whom was suspended; to my understanding no longer practices; and had multiple successful lawsuits against him). Rather then show any empathy and immediately recommend a viable solution after hearing me out instead she instead attempted to justify Dr. Krieger's actions. She even went so far as to suggest that my perceived lack of dental care was to blame for the original cap falling off a year to two after the procedure was done and why it has multiple times since. I explained this CONTRADICTED the original dentist I saw after my tooth fell out and the last dentist seen AT HER CLINIC Willowbrook Dental. I then went onto explain how it can be frustrating and confusing to receive different care recommendations from dentist to dentist not knowing whom to trust and it was my initial trust of Dr. Kreiger that got me into this situation. Again I didn't receive so much as an acknowledgement of this yet alone any sympathy. She then recommended to fix my tooth that an extraction be done and an implant inserted. Rather then take new x-rays and develop a plan of care to have this fixed (website clearly states Willowbrook Dental does implants) she proceeded to say she can provide me with a list of specialists to go have this done with. Went to reception, receptionist looked around and said they have nothing (WHAT???) and I could just go home and look up something online. There are many, many more details with this that I would like to elaborate on but considering how long this is I will stop. In response this review at best will probably receive a disingenuous apology or will even go so far to attack my character or version of the facts. Suffice it to say I would not recommend visiting this clinic.

Once there i was taken in within minutes and they listened to what was wrong. I felt like they really cared about me. I would recommend anyone to this office. I’ve been going to willowbrook dental for over 30 years. But the last couple years has been an absolutely horrible experience. Dr Elena refused to treat my cavity because she was unsure on how to treat it, leaving me in pain. The receptionist did not book me a cleaning, yet only a hygienist appointment resulting in me using my benefits for an unnecessary appointment. The manager Barb Openly admitted she does not know anything about dentistry leaving the decisions all up to the doctors, who are clearly confused and not knowing the proper procedure. Leaving me in pain. I will never step foot back in this dentist again. I can’t believe after 30 + years this is how they treat their patients.

Any place that pays for a bunch of fake reviews shouldn't be trusted. Just read them all. I couldn't get into my regular dental clinic before a big event so I decided to come to Willowbrook Dental to get my teeth cleaned. That's all I asked for. That's all I wanted. Instead I sat in the chair and immediately got pressured to do X-Rays which took forever to get done. Totally my fault for just saying yes, but when I'm told it's mandatory to have them done it's difficult to say no. Next I had my bottom teeth cleaned, but instead of moving on to the top, the dentist spent probably 15-20 minutes measuring the depth of my gums. It's tough to maintain a sense of time when you're laying on your back with your eyes closed, but it was taking so long I actually had to ask what he was even doing and why. Next thing I know the hour is up and I'm told I have to schedule another appointment to finish the cleaning. Excuse me? That's the only thing I asked to have done and it wasn't completed in a whole hour. Was fitted with a $200 bill for various X-Rays and will never ever ever everrrrrrr be back. Not surprised you guys pay for reviews. Keep up the good work.

I initially googled looking for an Orthodonist to get my teeth straightened. Which led me to the Ortho portion of this clinic. After the initial consult it was decided that before I get braces I needed a good cleaning (it had been a while due to Covid) as well as I needed some cavities filled. I have met 3 of the dentist and quite a few of the assistants and hygienists leading up to getting my braces (on Tuesday ????) My cleaning went great with Vanessa. She did such a fantastic job and was friendly and professional and as gentle as could be ! Then over two days I had 6 cavities filled. Embarrassing but it is what it is, I’m going to be more vigilant with my teeth hygiene from now on ! I had an anxiety attack on the first day and the dentist and assistant were kind and calm and settled me down so quickly. I felt no pain throughout and was constantly asked throughout how I was doing and feeling. I’ve never had such a great experience at the dentist and have never felt compelled to write a google review before lol but good news always deserves to be shared. I am a patient for life and will be referring all I know !!!

Every single time I went to this office for work on my teeth something went wrong. Not once did they ever accept fault or apologize. The staff is very ignorant...I cannot word it any other way. I say ignorant because they refuse to accept the things they do wrong and instead treated me with indifference. It was not just the women at the front desk, it was even at least one of the dentists. I have never had so many consecutive bad experiences from one location in my life. I will be going elsewhere for sure!!! I have now permanent damage to my teeth as well from the hygienist here. I didn't bother telling the dentist. I was trying to be nice and give them a second chance after one or two bad experiences there the first time, and I shouldn't have. They didn't deserve it. When things go wrong all they do is deny deny and look at you as if you are the one with the problem. NO ACCOUNTABILITY at all..terrible. Worse dental office I have ever been to. Just telling it like it is. Avoid this place.

The dental hygienists are amazing at their jobs. However, after receiving one treatment for tooth filling, all good impressions were gone. I got a gum infection caused by careless local anesthetic injection. It was a 8:00 pm appointment near the closing time and the male dentist kept talking to the young student who was shadowing him while he did the injection. I felt a sharp pain and wasn't sure at that time whether it should've been like that or not. The next morning, the injection area was swollen and painful. A few days later, it was filled with pus. I called the clinic, talked to the receptionist and tried my best to explain my concern. Instead, I was shut out, told that she couldn't understand me and she booked me an appointment in the evening to see the dentist. While I showed my gum infection to the dentist and expressed my concern, the dentist assistant abruptly told me that this was normal and walked out of the room. As for the dentist, he said it was an infection, but he didn't apologize nor did he do anything to fix it until I asked. He then suggested me to buy some topical medicine to heal the wound and said that I could come back to see him again in the next couple weeks if it didn't heal. It was very disappointing to see this unprofessional response from so many of the staff members! Is it really that hard to admit to a mistake and just apologize? Or if not, at least give a good reason as to why my gum turned out to be like that such as: your gum might be too sensitive or so. Seems like a nice place but not professional. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Great value, talented hygienists, and dentists. Never had anything even close to a bad experience. The dentist did a very good job of making sure I understood everything that she was doing for my dental needs before doing anything. The assistants were very comforting as well and the clinic did not charge/do any work that didn't need to be done. My family started going to Willowbrook Dental about 3 years ago after our previous dentist retired and at first it was ok and the hours were convenient, however in the past year and a half things started changing. My kids were being told they needed additional work done and once I even got an email for my son saying he had outstanding work that needed to be completed but we were not told this at his appointment. When I called to inquire I was told he needed 4 filings. The next week my daughter had her appointment and she was also told she needed a small filing. When she returned a couple days later for the filing she was done in 20 min, so I asked her what they had done and she couldn’t really say as they didn’t do any freezing or drilling. She had never had anything filings before so she didn’t know that wasn’t normal. (Neither of my kids now teenagers had ever required filings before.) My husband also had a technician that was so rough that he absolutely refused to ever go back. Recently I took my kids to another dentist for regular cleaning appointment and the both had new X-rays done and neither one of them has any cavities that require filing (Interesting since we never had the 4 filings done that my son was told he had outstanding). I never mention anything to the new dentist about any outstanding work until after he had provided his exam results and advised everything was good and there were no cavities. We do not recommend Willowbrook Dental and will definitely NEVER be returning.

I have been to many different dental places and this place is by far one of the best places I have been to. I have recommended many of my friends. My boyfriend hates the dentist and has bad anxiety but doesn’t “mind” going there. They took him 5 mins before close on an emergency and kept 2 extra assistants to make him comfortable. They have been nothing but accommodating and kind, both front to back staff. Dr Emami is amazing and you can barely feel anything when he does work including when he freezes you. Before you even know it you are out the door and done. I hate the feeling of being frozen for hours after… I literally was unfrozen by the time I was home. My dental hygienist’s name is Bobbi and she does amazing work, she will spend as much time as she needs to make sure you leave satisfied with the cleanest teeth you have ever had. She is professional, human, connected and genuine which can be difficult to find in this profession. I recommend her also to anyone that is scared or has had bad experiences as she will take the time to make you comfortable. I don’t ever right reviews but this place is definitely worth a 5 star and a review. I will continue to recommend this them.

I went here about a week ago because I had broken a tooth and it was causing me a lot of pain. They had me in right away to decide on a treatment plan and then because it was an emergency, one of the assistants actually forfeited her lunch break to get me in the next day for a root canal. They did an amazing job and were so kind and informative throughout the entire process and even though I still have to get gum surgery and a crown, I feel a million times better and have had zero complications.
