I wouldn't recommend Dr.Wong or his staff on any level to anyone. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of this clinic. He has a habit of bad mouthing other Dental clinics only to find his is the worst out there. These people are constantly trained to up sell you anything they can in any way possible. As they say do your due diligence when picking a dentist. Read the online reviews before you commit to a plan. I wish I had done that better looking back now. He also doesn't stand behind his dental treatments. I had a crown fall off due to poor installation and he come up with a technical story as to why it unglued but never covered the repair that wasn't even a year old. I spent a good amount of money there and sadly enough my experience was less than favorable over months of dental charges to my extended benefits plan. The free tooth brush they offer new patience at the door on that banner comes at the cost of useless 3D -360' xray scanning they will mandatory make you have that will cost you twice any tooth brush a long with regular X rays before any cleaning each time??. It's down to an art to make money off their patients. Then they will call you constantly and harass you every 3-6 months advising a cleaning. NON STOP!!! I had to block them eventually after a Botched blood sample Dr.Wong attempted to extract from me to send in for a tooth implant process that I argued against. I had a needle poked in my arm over 6 times as I suggested to go to a blood clinic to have done and he said no no I can do this but at the end failed.I have never had any issue having blood taken at the lab? Finally I said STOP. I'm not surprised they are lacking customers and are now advertising on Face book. Once again do your homework. Stay away from this smooth talking $$$$$ Dentist. He's all about lining his pockets unlike our new dentist who educates us now on what is best for our health plan and budget and most importantly our smile.I'm sure this won't stay here long and will be deleted once he reads it. If I can save one person grief and hard earned money then it was worth me coming out and posting my nightmare.

I have been going to see Dr Wong for a while now. The experience is overall really good as far as a trip to the dentist can be. I say this because he is very skilled and quick with his work. He is also very artistic in shaping teeth to look and work very naturally. I just want to add that in these days of COVID, he has done many upgrades to his office and procedures that make you feel safe. The office staff are also very efficient and always keep the wait done to a minimum.

I only trust Dr. Wong with my teeth. Dr. Wong and Harpreet (sry if I got that name wrong). I have extreme anxiety over the dentist and they are very good at dealing with me. It is expensive, but that is the state of living in B.C., everything is more expensive than I want it to be. Its been years now. 3 root canals and 3 crowns. Following their advice has improved my teeth and saved me from having more holes in my mouth. I hate the expenses, but what could be more important to me than taking care of my teeth? Not much. No regrets.

Probably one of the worst dental offices I've used. Was almost charged close to 1000 dollars for a mouth guard- out of pocket that they said I needed do to grinding my teeth. Thankfully, I looked at my coverage/quote that they emailed me the day before to see that none of it was covered. No verbal heads up telling me my plan would not cover it, I had to call them the day before my apt. and ask why they didn't call to physically tell me that it would be an out of pocket expense and not covered under my dental plan, and chose to leave it to an email that I may, or may not have even checked, since I've never received email quotes from them ever before, when other dental work I've had done there was explained in person or via phone call a week prior to apt. of what my cost would be.. it was actually a fluke that I even saw it Tried, as I never check my emails. Tried to just sneak it in I guess, leaving me with a hefty bill. That could be a terrible situation for someone who doesn't have the income. I feel an expense to a person of that amount for a non emergency situation such as a mouth guard, should have been thoroughly explained. Any cavity work I've had done there have left ridges of filler that catches my tongue. Not finished the best. Never had any other dental office leave filler work rough like that. They feel very money oriented, trying to maximize the dollars coming in from their patients vs. Prioritizing important dental needs working within the dental plans their patients carry. In alot of cases, people will have out of pocket expenses, but prioritizing to help their patients doesn't seem to be priority for them. I like to feel like an actual person, with people who take care of me, not a way to maximize their income.

I’ve had some major dental issues in the last couple of years along with Invisalign, root canal, crown, and a wisdom tooth extraction. Dr Wong along with Harpreet and front staff are amazing. My Invisalign went smoothly and Mel was a gem. I highly recommend this dental office.

Dr. Wong is a superb dentist, caring, friendly, funny, reasonable, professional- all services provided in a family-like atmosphere. He became our family dentist after my oldest daughter fell and chipped a tooth in Vegas, came home a mess late in the middle of a Friday night- we randomly called his office, left a message, his office called within two hours, he came in on a Saturday morning just to see her, put her "back together" at an incredibly reasonable price, and delivered that "caring, highest quality" service that we know is so elusive in today's world. I had to have a few cavities filled and a bit of bonding on two teeth. Dr. Peter Wong has always been great, I’ve been coming to him since 1987, and will continue until he retires. Things continue to work fine. Sept 2021 Very quick 45 min appt, job very well done. New procedure for scanning teeth for a night guard. Got it in two days, quick appointment and works fine. Dr. Wong has always been a great Dentist and after 34 years is a friend as well. Will continue to go with hm and his team until he retires. Dec 2021, another visit for scaling etc, xrays and a check up from Dr. Wong. Great Christmas wishes exchanged and onto 2022.

I went to an actual orthodontist after and the consult was free, the whole treatment was less and just a retainer was cheaper by $700. This place is robbing people. Never going back

I have been to many different dentists but Dr Wong is the best by far. He is an exceptional dentist and quick and efficient barely describes his skill. There was also no pain during injections which is awesome because I have a fear of them. The hygienist is also very good for cleanings. The office makes me feel safe with all the updates for COVID. Safer than any other medical clinic by far. I recommend this office for any dental and hygiene issues.

This is by far the WORST dental office you will ever go to. I didn't have an option of putting No Stars..DO NOT go here. I completely regret going in for my cleanings and dental fillings after three years. Every time I have gone the ladies are super rough with your teeth in cleaning, the receptionists do not know what they're doing. I went in for a cleaning and my filling fell out minutes after the appointment!!!!! When I called to complain the receptionists communicated to me that the costs were covered, only to be surprised with a $300 bill in the mail 2 month later, telling me that the costs we're not covered. Are you kidding me?! First off, they call you 3 times followed by 2 texts messages confirming your appointment, then try to scam you in getting your money. If you have an issue forget talking directly to the office manager, you will get past off 4 times before getting any type of call back in relations to an issue, this office does't take responsibility for their mistakes. Now I am stuck with this bill and I have taken it to the Canadian Dental Association. I feel lied to and cheated for my money. Save you're self the trip to this little langley dental office. Go somewhere else.

Literally the worst dentist office ever. Theyve left poeces of wisdom tooth in my mouth and when i could feel it , they said they could take it out but id have to pay for it. They chipped my tooth , cemented two of my teeth together so i cant even floss , quoted me half the price of what it actually came out to. And thats only part of it , my whole family has gone here for so long and every one has had problems. So unprofessional , charges you for their own mistakes. NEVER GO HERE. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! The only reason I gave 1 star is so I could post the truth of this company. I was experiencing pain so I went in to find out what was wrong. Was told I needed a root canal and was given antibiotics that day. They scheduled the procedure the very next day. When they booked this appointment, I asked if this would be enough time for the antibiotics to work and they assured me it was. The next day I went in for my root canal and they started to freeze me but the freezing wouldn't work properly due to the inflammation of the infection. They shot me full of Novocain and my heart started raising 108 beats per min. I asked for something to calm me down as my whole body was shaking and was refused until my heartbeat went down, isn't that what the medication I requested supposed to do. Finally they gave me half an ativan, and the dentist asked if we were going to do this today. I said let's get this done, so he started drilling and I could feel it but kept going until he started digging at the roots and he could see I was unable to handle the pain and he said I can't finish this, you are going to need to see a specialist. Then they wouldn't let me walk. I had to get pushed in a wheelchair (after 1/2 an ativan). I was humiliated. Never again!!! See picture below where this dentist left a piece of the drill in my tooth. I had to go to a specialist to get it removed. Time to stop working on patients and go back to school

A bunch of scam artists. They will book your appointment weeks in advance and have you confirm your appointment. Weeks will go by without any sort of reminder because they are hoping that you will miss your appointment so that they can charge you a "missed appointment" fee. They will be quick to call you to ask for a credit card number, but not so quick to give common courtesy of a reminder of any kind. The service is not terrible. I am sure that the staff are well qualified. However the experiences I have had have been very rushed. They like to get you in and get you out without much time to explain to you what or why they are doing what they re doing. They like to tell you that you need to come back for follow up appointments but will not explain why it is necessary or weigh the options for you. They look for every opportunity to get the most money out of you for the smallest investment of their time. If you are careful, this might be a good office for you. But I caution you to watch your wallet, and get a second opinion if you can.

I had small chipping and asked for my teeth to be filed because I previously tried a filling and it didn’t hold but they insisted on another filling. The filling came off in a couple days. I went back to have it fixed and they charged me $111 to put a new filling even though I once again asked for it to be filed. The filling has again come off. They insisted a previous filling had to be replaced, now I have constant tooth sensitivity and when I complained, they just gave me a hefty estimate for a root canal. They tried to convince me to allow them to pull two of my daughter’s teeth for over $100 each, claiming the teeth would not fall out on their own and would cause her new teeth to grow in crooked or not at all. One tooth was so wiggly, my daughter pulled it herself later that night. I refused to put her through that and the other tooth fell out on its own with no problem. They try to race through the appointment and don’t seem to care if the work is done properly. I had to return because my bite was completely off and one tooth was so sharp I kept cutting my tongue. This place is a joke. Nothing more than a money grab. They don’t care about the patient at all. A perfect example of why so many people fear going to the dentist.

I am not happy with this place .They randomly book you appt and text you to click a link to confirm appt but there is no link or option to cancel appt. if you call them they make excuses to charge you. I told them to not book me any appt and I will call myself since I am busy . The manager said she will write notes and after month again same thing. Not helpful at all. Very greedy and bad customer service. I will rather go somewhere else then waste my energy with these guys .

i have been going to this Dentist for 4 years. recently i lost my job and there for my benefits. i called them to cancel my children's appointments which at this time they seem very good about. then about 3 weeks later they send me a bill for $356 for work that was not done for a spacer that was going to go in. the spacer was never placed. yet i have a bill for the spacer the lab fees and the work done from the last visit for the fitting. now they keep call trying to get it placed. in the mean time my son has lost another tooth in the area that the spacer was going to go. so did he even need it or was it a money grab. I still cant figure out how i should have to pay for something that i don't even have. would you pay for something you are never going to get? sorry but i cant figure out why i be pay for something that have never been seen or worn . so why would i do it for my Dentist. all i have to say is i will never go back. they don't care about the people they see and all they see is $$$ signs.

Very good service. I had to leave the country in a few days from when I had my teeth cleaned. The dentist found a crack in an older filling and booked me in to have this fixed two days later. I believe he and his staff stayed late that day to make sure I was taken care of. Amazing service and people! And the dental work was top notch!!

While the rest of the staff were amazing, Dr. Wong told me my daughter required work to be done on her, or else she would have a gap tooth. He also said the same thing about my son, who still had all his baby teeth. I worked for a health insurance agency, and found out he was telling many people they required work that they found out they didn't need. I saw a different dentist in the same office who told me I was fine keeping my wisdom teeth, but when I saw him he said they needed to be taken out. Another dentist in a different office had already told me they were fine. My daughters teeth also grew in just fine. He's a scammer.

Most of those were extractions out of necessity. Compared to previous dentists I have been too Dr. Wong has made it acceptionally easy to be a patient. He doesn't waste time when it comes to your care. He moved around his schedule and was able to remove a broken wisdom tooth. He didn't have to accommodate me. He was already extremely busy. I had already gone 2 days without sleep and without him the cycle would have continued until a week later when I found a random office that could squeeze me in. Dr. Wong took as much time as I needed to feel confident in the procedure and I now have found a home for my new family of smiles. Thank you for being my savior.

My family and I had a very negative experience at Amazing Smiles and dealing with Dr.Wong during the Christmas holidays of 2020. He filled in a cavity that landed my son in the hospital for 4 days over the Christmas holidays. The infection was so serious that he had to be placed on IV antibiotics and his face was swollen like a balloon. Not only that, the office didn’t have an emergency contact number. So, we couldnt speak with someone for assistance. Imagine waking up in the morning with your child screaming with a swollen face! We found Dr wong to be very unprofessional in his actions and feel that he did not do what was necessary for our 5-year-old son. The day after the filling we contacted his office at 5 in the morning looking to speak with our "trusted professional dentist" and there was no emergency contact number. We were left calling other local dentists and having them assist us in what to do. They also asked us to send photos of the tooth and the swelling so they could help us over the phone. And this was from dentist offices that we have never been to! If you contact the college of dental surgeons, they will tell you that an emergency contact number is necessary. His response to this was ignorant when we asked him why he does not have it on the voice message. And this was the 2nd time he has done this to us! My child had a dental emergency earlier in 2020 and it fell on a Saturday. Our child suffered a severely damaged front tooth and we called him on a weekend. He had no voice message on the answering machine and when I got a hold of him at the beginning of the week my wife and I both explained how this affected us and that it left us feeling that we couldn't trust his clinic. A few days later they put an emergency contact number on the voicemail. So somewhere between then and December they just removed the emergency contact. This is not a clinic that can help you if you have an emergency or even help with children's dental needs. The way children’s teeth get x-rayed is different at specialty offices as they are use to dealing with kids. Our son had to miss over 3 weeks of school, his beloved activities and our Christmas was ruined because of improper dentistry. Not only that, we had to sit and wait in the emergency room during this crazy covid period. Our family has since left this office and have found another dental office in Langley. And fortunately, we were able to reduce the swelling enough for our son and he had the tooth removed at a children’s dental centre. Our son may have permanent damage on his side check as the swelling was so bad. We recommend that you go to a specialist for children and avoid any grief.

Dr. Wong is always very cheerful and his consistent, positive nature helps put you at ease when you are going through treatments. He is always very meticulous in his work and looks for preventative ways to help with your oral health. Our whole family goes to Amazing Smile Dental and I would highly recommend it for anyone else!

Been with Doctor Wong for my entire childhood and adult life. Very professional and always greets you with a smile and positive attitude. Takes extra time to discuss concerns and provides prompt service. Went in to get some tooth sensitivity checked and he determined it was a cavity and filled it the very same visit.
