I recently found this dentist office about a month after going to countless offices with dentists who either couldn't fit my needs or try to be patient enough with me. I looked on Google and thankfully found dr slepchik. He is a man of his craft. I have an anxiety disorder and I am proud to say that because of him I didn't even need laughing gas. Even when I'm crying and freaking out a bit he and his team put me at complete ease I can get through all the work I need done. If you or someone have fear of dentists this is definitely is the place to go. I am so grateful for the whole team who make me feel like I'm a human being not just a lump of $$. And never give up on me.

REVIEW OF DR. LENNY SLEPCHIK November 21, 2016 1. Compassionate/available…. My history with Dr Slepchik goes back to April of this year. One Saturday I woke up with a painful inflammation of my gums in an area of three teeth which had been capped and bridged at some time in the past. He was the only dentist who responded to an emergency call in person, made himself available that very day, and came into the office with a nurse … on a Saturday. My regular dentist happened to be ill that weekend and only called back on Sunday and was ready to prescribe some painkillers before he could see me possibly on the Monday. 2. Keeps up-to-date with the latest technology, well-informed…. I have a history of grinding my teeth. It has to do with the nature of my work where I am constantly under attack by real estate agents and every building inspection is like an exam at University. I have been looking after my teeth all my life with some of the best dentists I could find but, given my age [in my 70s], and the extent of grinding that I do, my teeth were starting to deteriorate [sight unseen, like a hidden defect in a building]. Dr Slepchik explained how dental technology has evolved, keeps changing and, it would be normal for work that had been done 10 to 20 years ago to have deteriorated. It is a myth to imagine that such repairs can last a lifetime. I could relate to that concept because building components also deteriorate over time through normal usage. He recommended that I consider reassessing all my teeth to make sure that they were all in good condition and could last the rest of my life. He even told me that he has had patients in their 90s who were still getting work done on their teeth. 3. Using new technology to do his diagnostic and to communicate it…. The x-rays he took of my teeth were immediately projected up on a large screen so that they could be discussed with me in a comprehensive manner. He found that one of the teeth in the area of inflammation was likely to be cracked in the vertical and would have to be removed which could affect the adjacent two teeth because they were all bridged together. He found that there were caps that had been applied to my teeth perhaps two decades ago and they were now small gaps around the base of those caps such that bacteria could/has gotten in underneath them. He also recommended that I consider doing two implants of missing molars on both the right and left sides because the process had been simplified since I last had implants done. At the time it was suggested to me that it could get along without them. I now find that having all one's teeth helps to chew food properly, which also helps with digestion and maintaining good health. Morris Charney/architect

After having some bad experiences with Dentist over the last 3 years, I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Lenny and everyone at this Dentistry. Incredibly knowledgeable, reassuring, enthusiastic and friendly staff are aplenty here. I have always had a lot of pain due to being resistant to anesthetic on my lower teeth and so I was dreading to have some much needed work done. However, I was instantly reassured with a plethora of options on how my pain could be managed by the staff and my dental work was completed with incredibly minimal discomfort to my surprise! I can now look forward to further treatments rather than worry about them and this makes me very happy to recommend this clinic to my friends and family.

BEWARE OF EXAGGERATED DIAGNOSIS I am new to Montreal and was looking for a new dentist. Lenny Slepchik seemed like a great fit, he had great reviews online and was close to my office so I decided to book an appointment. Upon arrival everything was fine-- friendly staff, quick check-in, etc. Where red flags started to pop up was when I sat down in the chair. For background, I have never had issues with my teeth. I have my annual cleaning and almost always leave with a clean bill of health. With this history, I was caught by surprise when the dental hygienist immediately flagged that I had an extreme case of receding gums. Dr. Slepchik came in and confirmed her diagnosis and they both proceeded to explain the procedures that would be necessary to stop the recession (which they both confirmed was headed toward me losing my teeth, keep in mind I am in my early-mid 20s). They explained that I would need to come in for deep cleaning sessions every 3 months for them to monitor the progression of my gums and they also advised that it would be likely that I'd need a gum graft later in the year. After leaving this appointment, skeptical of the new dentist's diagnosis, I decided to visit my family dentist when I was back home. I gave them the background on what Dr. Slepchik told me about my receding gums and asked for their opinion. It was concluded that only 2 of my teeth had about 1 mm worth of recession and my family dentist also explained that gum grafts are an extremely invasive procedure that they only recommend moving forward with if the majority of your teeth are at at least 4mm worth of recession. Another thing for prospective patients to keep in mind, they do not bill your insurance provider directly. You have to pay out of pocket. Make sure you are 100% clear on what is covered in your plan and clear on what services they plan on providing you that day. I'm not sure what happened, but my insurance plan, which covers 100% of general checkups/cleaning, did not cover the visit I had with Lenny Slepchik. Overall, my experience at this dental clinic was anxiety-inducing and left me with an extremely bad taste in my mouth. I was, and still am, disappointed to know that a medical professional would recommend an invasive procedure to a patient that is not absolutely needing it.

Had my crowns done ..did not even last 10 years. After 1 year ..My eye tooth crown fell out 2x . I went to see someone else. And was told that my dentist knew it would not hold And if he didn't... they should take away his licence. Now i just lost another one. thats Dr Slepchik put in. Dr. Slepchik took advantage of my dental fears and convinced me that changing all my old fillings would be a good idea. I asked him specifically if, in his professional opinion , that was a necessary thing to do. He looked me in the eyes and assured me it was... I had no prior pain but decide to confide in Dr. Slepchik, which was a horrible idea. 6 months and two dentist later 1/2 of the fillings Dr Slepchik did have had to be removed and redone, and one of them was so deep it resulted in me needing a root canal done after an infection killed my nerve, plus a post, plus a crown. I've asked these dentist there opinions and showed them my older Xrays . Each confirmed my suspicions . I had some cavities but most of the fillings that were redone was NOT necessary. Because of Dr. Slepchik greed I'm now roughly 3,000$ in debt with dental work, a dead tooth, and have a legit fear of ever trusting a dentist again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Dr. Slepchik ! He is not interested in your well being, just your money.

I've been coming here for few months and Dr. Slepchik and his team are always very attentive and responsive to all my questions. They all continuously attend seminars and courses to make sure they are always up to date . I resist to freezing and each time he is very patient with me and so are his assistants they always make sure I'm comfortable. It starts at reception to be greeted with a smile by Anna and Diane, it continues on the chair with Carmen, Maria, Kinga , Dr. Slepchik and even the helpers. ???? I now bring my 14 year old son and my husband as new patients . Only the best for my family !

I had a very good experience here. I had a root canal, couple of fillings, and a crown, also a cleaning during couple of appointments and I didn't feel even a tiny pain. Dr. Slepchik is a great dentist, he is very friendly and experienced in his job. He provided a plan for my treatment with the priorities so I could decide which one to do first based on my budget. They have the best dental equipment, so you shouldn't be worried about anything. I was pretty satisfied with all my appointments. The office is very clean, the staff are friendly and professional in their work. Absolutely recommend this place to take care of your teeth.

Called in for an emergency wisdom tooth removal that they did immeadietly (only waited for 15 minutes). This is rare though, they usually book weeks in advance. Tooth was infected but didn't feel much pain due to local anaesthetic and was provided with a presciption for possible pain that went away after a 2 hour nap. Very pleased with the available services at the clinic, the state of cleanliness and Dr Lenny's almost surgical way of moving between the different exam rooms. Going again for further wisdom tooth removals soon, hope service will be the same.

Great Customer Service and product knowledge but unfortunately my first cleaning here was not of the same caliber. The hygienist was rushed and clumsy. The cleaning was very aggressive and messy. Her frustration was made clear by a number grunts and groans. A number of times she was unable to accomplish a task (x-ray or cleaning a certain area) and kept clearly hurting me in her repeated attempts. I was and still am worried that she may have damaged my mouth. After a number of weeks, since my experience, my teeth and gums still ache and haven't felt normal since. I have never had any problems with my teeth before and have always left a cleaning, at my regular dentist, feeling clean and refreshed. It was sadly not soo, here.

I had deep cleaning gum procedure I can honestly tell you there is a huge difference in my gums. they have now returned to being a light pink, and not bleeding at all after I floss. Also the staff especially Carmen (who I proposed too when she agreed to fix my front tooth with less then 24 hour notice) are extremely skilled and Knowledgeable. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Slepchik for about 10 years. I especially appreciate the consistent warmth and friendliness of the receptionists, hygenists and assistants, who are all very qualified. Times are challenging and no one is immune, but they maintain their level of exceptional service. What I appreciate about Dr. Slepchik is that he will recommend treatments for issues at the start (eg. receeding gums), before they become a more serious problem. At the same time, he recommends without pressuring you.

They have a great staff who is friendly, compassionate, professional and understand what the patients need. Dr. Slepchik is amazing. He is skilful and has a great sense of humour which always helps me relaxed. Once I had a huge pain related to root canal, they took care of me beyond their pricing system. I felt that they were conscientious as a medical staff. I can see that they keep updating their equipment and technology too. I went to this place and I didn't bother trying anywhere else. Everyone is super great especially Kinga and Deborah. They take extremely good care of you and are very accommodating. The relaxation menu really takes into account everything that can make you comfortable. I never thought a dentist visit could be fun. A year and a half ago I broke a tooth and decided to try Dr. Slepchik's office and I'm so happy I did! Dr. Slepchik uses some of the latest dental technologies. I had a fear of dentists and especially didn’t like the feeling of being frozen. He uses a method of freezing that is able to freeze a single tooth leaving the tongue cheeks etc. unaffected. Since then, I have had numerous dental treatments done. He and his team are excellent! They are so kind, passionate, confident, and get along so well that you feel very secure, comfortable and well taken care of. During treatments, they share stories that help take your mind off of where you are and make it feel like you are visiting friends. You are given long appointments so that you are never rushed and have all the time you need to ask questions when the work is done. One of my biggest surprises was going home after a root canal and feeling absolutely nothing, no tenderness, pain etc. Thank you all so much for taking such good care of me and my mouth! ????

I could have stayed there and slept a little if it had not been so fast. The doctor is fast and efficient and there is no unnecessary pain. I never felt the picure because it freeze the front area with a kind of tuning fork that vibrates and numb the biggest nerves. La picure engourdit elle les nerfs plus petit mais comme j'avais les yeux fermés je ne me suis jamais rendu compte qu'il me piquait !! Et il n'y a que des sourire pour le service. Easily the friendliest dentist office out there. Everyone is extremely nice. I doubt many people enjoy getting their teeth cleaned but I do. I also had my grafts done in 2 phases. I was terrified of doing the first phase but it was done so well that it healed very quickly and with no pain. I did my second procedure the minute they took the stitches for the first one out. I highly recommend you to try them out.

Believe these negative reviews. THEY ARE ACCURATE (Read: Katryna Cheung's google review it is SPOT ON too - wish I read prior to my visits). This clinic/dentist does not put its clients first. It's focus is 100% on money making and finding the most costly and involved procedures to keep you returning and use your maximum insurance. The actual treatments are ROUGH and rushed. Worst cleaning I have ever, ever had and the person doing it spent over half the appointment (as all the appointments I had there talking about an elaborate plan of procedures and putting my current smile down). They are condescending and will make you feel terrible about your teeth to shame you into getting what they deem as necessary (scare you with terrifying worst case scenarios) versus providing you with options and showing care in their approach. They have flooded the Google Reviews with PAID FOR positive reviews and strangely respond defensively to any negative reviews. If they really want to ensure business - why not just do a GOOD job and treat people with respect so they recommend your services to others? This is a tried and true way to ensure business and have people return. Trying the OUTMOST to get the most money from people versus seeing that they are comfortable and are treated with care /respect - shows clearly where your priorities are: Your Pockets). You'll see the same sentiments echoed over and over in these negative and truthful reviews PROFITS over PEOPLE and it shows. Worst.

Fantastic dentist!!! I was visiting from Italy. I started experiencing intense pain in one tooth due to an abscess. I fortunately found Dr.Slepchik. he was absolutely incredible.
