From reception to hygienists to Dr.Tenser himself, AMAZING staff ! The care and compassion they have towards their patients is incredible. We initially went there for an emergency visit for my 9 year old, they accommodated us on a Saturday between patients. Dr. Tenser just has this way with patients as well as their families. I could not have asked for anyone better than him to be our dentist. My kiddo went there this week to have a tooth extracted and they were so good at keeping her calm, they explained each instrument that would be used and just like that she was done. They called today so see how she is doing, I appreciate that so much!! I HIGHLY recommend him. He now treats myself,kiddo and hubby. I started seeing another dentist a few days ago due to some pain in a molar tooth. There must have been a crack or something that wasn't showing up in the x-ray, because I was experiencing some discomfort. The same tooth actually broke just yesterday, and I called Dr. Tenser's office today, because the other dentist's place is closed down for their summer holiday. So I found myself in this emergency, and called Dr. Tensor's office this morning. The receptionist is extremely kind and helpful, which as you know, can really make a big difference. Monday happens to be his day off, but she told me that she'd call him. Low and behold, he agreed to meet me at his office, and he salvaged my broken tooth on his day off. Plus, he didn't even charge me the usual emergency fee, or for the x-ray that he took. The truth is that Dr. Tenser is an unusual person. Very giving, and very sincere - as well as skillful. What else could we want in a dentist? I'm glad I've found myself the right permanent dentist - and a new friend!

Here is my honest experience with this dentist and staff... My friend had a panic pain in his tooth. I contact the receptionist at 11:30am Saturday. They told me I can go on the same time as it was urgent. After reaching to the clinic, the wait-time was ONLY 2 MINUTES. I would highly recommend this doctor for anyone mainly because of 3 reason i found worth sharing. 1. I got the Zero bill for the entire checkup because they process your claim if you have insurance. So no hussle of claiming the bill from your insurance company later. 2. As a student he didn't charged me the difference amount (actual bill - insurance covered). The staff was cordial and very efficient. They dealt with my insurer quickly, to get me my discount, without having me fill out a slew of paperwork. Moreover, many measures have been implemented to ensure the safety of the patients - e.g. temperature check up at office entrance, ultraviolet filters, glass walls to create seperation, mask coverage for dentists, etc. In conclusion, if you are looking for folks who are competent in dentistry and are close to 5885 Côte-des-Neiges, I recommend you visit dr.Tenser. My family and I started going to Dr.Tenser when I was younger... I've been one of his patient for over 12 years now. The team is incredible and always give the BEST customer service. I have only great things to say about his clinic. First, if you have an appointment, they are always very punctual ( you literally sit down and they'll call you ). Doctor Tenser is a very calm person, who is passionate about his job. He is VERY knowledgeable and will make you feel like you're home. He is always smiling and happy to serve his clients. Recently, I had wisdom tooth that was paintful. I called to get an appointment and I was able to get an appointment about 3 days later. I was terrified about the idea of getting it removed. He made me feel comfortable and reassured me before proceeding. He was able to repair my tooth instead of completely removing it. Furthermore, the services cost are EXTREMELY reasonable for the service you get because it is ALWAYS on point. I am in the healthcare field and I always want to get the best service from any health professional and Dr.Tenser and his team are incredible. I honestly would recommend Dr.Tenser to anyone that is looking for a dentist that takes his time with each patient and someone who actually cares about his clients and their well-being. Not only are they great professionals , they work beyond their comfort zone in order to ensure that we are comfortable and get the best and exceptional service. I was always afraid to go to a dentist, but now I have found a place where I can approach happily. The lady doctor is amazing with her patience and remarkable in her job while she did my complete examination and clean up. During my entire 2 hour visit, I felt more at home than at a dentist. I had a cleaning done and the female dentist chipped off a filling AND DIDNT SAY ANYTHING. I told Dr Tenser who then looked in my mouth and took an xray but get this...he says he cant find the hole. And this AFTER looking in my mouth and seeing the missing filling. I was treated like a child. Also the office is small.

I recently had a the worst tooth pain of my life, I was referred to Dr Tenser by a friend after seeing 2 other dentists and 2 specialists. Nobody could figure out why I was in sooo much pain. He referred me to an amazing root canal specialist and with in 10 mins he knew exactly what needed to be done and I got the needed treatment and relief. I used to have several issues with dentist because they charged higher fees but the work seems not accurate..or often i felt they did not do all the services because they wish i come back! i was referred to Dr Tenser by a friend of mine. he was always saying good things about him and one day (after too many years of bakery!!!) i was forced to meet a dentist and then i tried. Behind the kindness of his employees, Dr Tenser always give you all the options (the more robust treatment, the less expensive with benefits and disadvantages, etc..) even before touch your mouth. he always give you the choice (something rare in this industry). I went there 6 times since the last 7 months, and i am happy about the treatment i received. I went recently because i has a lot of pain and i was convinced to remove it, but dear Dr Jeffrey tried a different approach by filling the whole and observe the mouth during few weeks to see if pain disappear. it easy to write review to complain..but i truly believe that when a professional is doing perfectly his job, he need to be congratulate for that. Highly recommended dentist in Montreal offering a personalized service, very friendly and experienced staff working with state of the art equipment. I visited post COVID-19 upon their reopening and was pleasantly surprised as to all the safety measures taken to protect patients and staff alike. All patients have their temperature taken before entering the office and are required to wear face masks (provided by them) in the waiting area until isolated in a closed room with a staff member. While being seen by the staff, you are required to wear and provided with safety glasses for further safety precautions. Will be recommending to friends and family, thank you Dr. Tenser!

I visited Dr Tenser and his team last week (June 12, 2020). I was very nervous because of the covid situation. I didn't need to be. They have a great process in lace where you are asked questions, required to clean your hands and have your temperature checked before entering the office. the friendly receptionist has a mask and visor on, only 2 clients are allowed in at a time to allow for 2m of distance. I was escorted into a room within minutes of arriving. Dr Tenser and his staff were in full PPE and taking every precaution for themselves and clients. In addition, they were their usual upbeat and happy selves, which in itself was helpful since it made everything feel normal. I highly recommend Dr Tenser and his team, especially in this scary time. I've been visiting Dr. Tenser for about 8 years now. Not only is the staff very friendly, but the dental hygienists are always kind when cleaning my teeth (I have very sensitive gums!). He almost always runs on time or is a little ahead of schedule, is honest in his recommendations - I've never felt like he was trying to charge me extra for services I didn't need (and we all know this does happen at some dentists) and they do great work - I haven't had a cavity or needed dental work done in years - and this is a testament to them! He also always remembers my name which is really nice since I know he has a big practice but he makes the effort to keep the service personalized. I highly recommend Dr. Tenser. You won't be disappointed!

I had to take the time to write a google review for my brother and dentist Dr. Jeffrey Tenser. I had just started eating my lunch today and I bite into a bagel and fractured my lower right first molar. My first thought was the tooth was finish and would have to be extracted and probably be replaced with an implant. I called my brother and he told me to come into the office right away. He saw me as soon as I got to his office and calmed me down by saying it was no problem to repair the fractured tooth. He spent his entire lunch hour repairing my tooth and made it stronger and more esthetic than it was before the fracture. I was happy to get such a quick appointment and great service. On holidays here in Canada I had extreme pain, because of one infected tooth. I called on Saturday morning and got an appointment immediately on the same day. When I got there, I had to wait for 15 minutes and then Dr Tenser had a look at my tooth. He explained all the options to me and left me the choice what to do. I had a unique experience with Dr Jeffrey Tenser. I developed a big infection in my right cheek and it was a Friday before the long holiday weekend of St Jean Baptiste. I was calling ,in tears, hospitals who may have a dental emergency clinic that i can go to, but no one had appointments for me. I looked up on the internet, dentists who are available for emergencies, and I got Dr. Jeffrey Tenser. It was close by, so I went there, expecting to wait an hour or two, especially on a Friday. The Dr saw me within ten minutes. he did a panorex and saw that it called for a surgery, when he saw my cheek, he called his friend Dr Saleh to see me right away. Dr Tensor told me to go right away to Dr Saleh and that he was able to see I had such a terrible infection that it would have required 3 days in emergency to get it under control. Dr. tenser called me twice that Friday, and he called me twice during that difficult week that I had healing from the terrible infection. This was a Doctor that was a stranger to me and he was showing more concern and caring than my own young dentist . Thank GD that I was able to see Dr Tenser, He directed me to the right person to do my surgery and was able to save me. No amount of gifts would be able to thank him for the true caring of this dentist that I hope now, I can call my friend.
