Changing my review from previously, I can't believe how many issues I have had with Dawson Dental. Every time my appointment is over, I go to the front desk and ask them what is owed after they run my insurance. They tell me I am good to go and I don't owe anything. I find out 5 years later that they have not been processing my insurance correctly, and have outstanding charges since 2016! I went in to talk to the manager, and they said they would look into it, I found out that they have never updated my contact information (which I asked them to do multiple times) and have been sending the notices to the wrong person, while saying nothing to me while I was standing their in person! Because of their negligence, they have failed to process $500 worth of claims on my account, and even after I saw the manager it happened again! I was told that they messed up processing my insurance at my last visit when I complained about this issue. I have never had a more stressful experience with a dentist, and I am not one to write verbose reviews about a company. But this dentist has truly surpassed my tolerance for extremely improper customer service.

I have avoided the dentist for over 9 years, because of negative experiences in the past. Recently, however, I decided I couldn't put it off any longer and went in to Dawsons Dental for an exam, cleaning, and some dental work. All of this work was done over the course of several appointments, and after each appointment I felt more at ease and less anxious as a result of their friendly, compassionate approach to their patients. The entire team at Dawsons Dental is fantastic, and they aren't just friendly, they are kind, and they take a lot of pride in their work. Their dedicated approach to their patients makes all the difference. I highly recommend going to Dawson's Dental, and I want to thank them for all their hard work and for creating an atmosphere that is friendly, welcoming, and comforting.

The service quality here is of a totally different level. From the time you call to make an appointment, enter the premises you are made welcome, and feel at ease. If someone fears the dentists visit, the staff there do everything possible to make you feel comfortable. Both the doctor and hygienist constantly explain everything they are doing, keep you involved in the process. Elen was particularly exceptional, very patient, knowledgeable and seems to really care for her patients.

Dawson Dental and their staff have been a very positive experience over the past 2 years since starting my Invisalign treatment. This has been a very pleasant experience. From the front Staff, to the Dentist, the Assistant, and Alex the Hygienist, they have ALL been so friendly, professional and can make a stressful situation (for me) actually nice. Alex is so calm and quite sensitive to your dental fears, he can make it actually comfortable to get your dentistry done. The Dentist Dr. Tatari is also great.

The services here are amazing and everyone is super friendly but I stopped living in this area over a year ago and they will call me 5-6 times a year saying I haven't been in for an appointment. BAD BAD BAD I broke a tooth on Friday 26/02/17 and I'm on assistant when I went in and got seen I felt SLOTF OFF! They took a xray I have a FACTURE UP THE NERVE of the tooth I'm in OBVIOUS INTENSE Pain they refused me any forms of medication until I went to another dentist!! Cuz I could not take the pain and then Dawson gave me antibiotics ONLY after saying they understand that I am in pain BECUZ of the FACTURED nerve so i have a referral for Feb 6/17 that 2weeks later with a oral surgeron for a consultation and I'm in emense AMOUNTS OF PAIN AND DAWSON DENTAL CLINIC DOSE NOT CARE!!!!! As a person with dentist anxiety, the staff here make me comfortable to the point where I have none. Im most comfortable with getting a cleaning with the water tools, but with covid, they can only use the instruments, and even then they made me feel comfortable. Dr Vyas does not know what he is doing, do not get invisilign braces. He told me 2 years... After 4 years I insisted he pay for real metal braces because he could not seem to figure it out. Dr Joe was good at first, than fell off the earth and no one including the manager could answer why I had no appointments. 8 months later they are bugging us to bring the family back for appointments. I asked what the heck happened and all they said was sorry. No answer. Told me I could come in for more moulds for my mouth. Are you kidding me?!?; 5 years and counting. Never going back. Hygienists are lovely and front end staff very friendly. That it.

The staff are very friendly and encouraging. My experience during the procedure was very bad. First a gel was used to numb my gums, and it didn't really work. There was a tingle but not really a numbness. Uncertain though we pressed on. Then an anesthetic was applied and it was excruciating. I told them that it hurt. More gel was applied and then immediately after the anaesthetic was attempted again. It still hurt. The procedure was then attempted and the pain was so bad that I jumped in the chair. I stopped the procedure after I jumped a second time from the pain. I had a bad headache almost immediately after that. Within a few minutes of leaving the chair the effect of both the gel and the needle were gone. For whatever reason the anaesthesia hadn't worked. There was no attempt made to have a discussion about what had transpired and there were no queries about the headache. I left not really knowing what had happened, and with no attempt by the office to figure it out. I cancelled the next appointment, and will try to find another dentist.

Customer service lacking. Follow up calls not returned. Sad I am chasing them to resolve issues and Pain/ broken tooth still and issue now into sept. . Quoted a price but once in Office it changed,Seems if have insurance cost if more. Then not happy I make a call re; that appointment and issue. Told hey try financing. I am on WSIB and limited funds. so the prices quoted by the fist appointment are out of my league ranges from $1.400 to $26,000 , Was told after applying denied .. tried again same thing. How ever hour later surprise you are approved. The office manager or someone in upper employ level called me( we had spoken prior, she was aware of the issue and was to contact me herself once back from Holiday) It Is Now A Week later and I am again forced to chase them down. I kept copies of the email quotes to prove if I need to.Very Very unhappy . Now need look elsewhere. I will need to pay out more for initial exam and xray costs.

He also recommended that I have 2 more wisdom teeth removed by a dental surgeon, which I could be referred to, that my previous dentist did not mention. I look forward to my next appointment

The entire office is so friendly, the hygienists are thorough, gentle and so sweet and friendly. I purchased a take home cleaning kit and didn't use it properly so I didn't receive any of the benefits of using it and the office gave me a free kit, so nice ! Best service I have EVER received at an office! Our son was petrified of dentists and hadn't been in several years....until his tooth broke. I called this office as we live nearby and explained our son's fear/phobia. Leanne is absolutely the most patient person, as I took up about 20 minutes of her time on the phone explaining his fear, and mine lol. If one thing went 'wrong' he was NOT going to go back. They completely accommodated him with a quieter appt time and a time where Dr. Sayyad would be able to spend more time with him. They have tv's in the rooms and they even had put on funny shows as our son likes comedies! Appt day came and Leanne and Monica are the first to greet us. They are super friendly and professional. The office is very welcoming and doesn't 'smell like a dentist's office'!! Dr. Sayyad came out to greet/meet us, as did her Assistant, Afifa. Our son went in for his appt and Leanne made us coffee!! They have water and coffee and a tv to watch while you wait! Our son left with a smile on his face, even knowing that he had to return for a root canal! We returned a few days later for his root canal. It was his 21st birthday. The office had put up a 'Happy Birthday' banner in the room, as well as a card signed by the staff, and a cupcake!! A few days after his root canal, he received a call from Afifa, his Assistant for the procedure, asking how he was doing! We've always just been told to 'call if there are any problems'. I've never had an office call me. This office really does care about their patients! We now have a son who WANTS to go to the dentist! This was such a huge step for our son, and Dawson Dental really made a difference! I really wish I could do more than just this review to express how grateful we are for their superior service!

Been a patient here for 4 years and there is no else I'd rather go. The staff are consistently kind, friendly and have amazing attitudes. The dentists and hygienists are skilled and do great work; you can tell they care about the patient than recommending unnecessary procedures. I was in Dawson Dental Waterloo this past week to get my night guard fitted in. I was thrilled at how quickly it came in after being scanned for it as my previous one really needed to go. When I was being fitted by Dr. Tatari he was so gentle and showed me exactly how to properly put it in, maintenance for it, and most importantly educated me on how to get the most benefits out of it. There was alot I wasn't aware since my last night guard so I walked out confident that I'd get much better longevity and benefits out of this new night guard. Riley the hygienist also did such a fantastic job while doing my hygiene and scanning me for the night guard. I was awaiting sticky impressions which I didn't like, but to my surprise Dawson Waterloo uses a scanning machine called iTero. This made getting scanned for a new night guard such an easy and educational process with this scanner. It turned what was previously not a fun experience into a great one. Highly recommend this team and location as I couldn't be happier with my experience there!

I first visited Dawson Dental in Kitchener five days ago - upon walking through the doors and meeting the dentist and the dental assistant/hygienist, I felt welcome and at ease (not the biggest dentist fan), they made all of my worries and fears subside. I visited today for a tooth extraction, and the staff went above and beyond. The procedure took two and a half hours, a lot of work and determination. A big hat off to Brittany, Dr. Munjal and Dr. Mohammed for getting my stubborn tooth out, and making sure I was completely comfortable the whole time I was in the chair. The staff here, went above and beyond for me, and my needs, and they offered the most professional service, with a smile. There is no other place I would recommend for first time patients, or those patients who are made very uneasy by the dentist. I'm pretty sure that I could have induced a panic attack when I used to think of going to the dentist. But now I sincerely say that I actually LOVE (not even LIKE) going to the dentist - and it's all because of Dr. Vyas and his staff! From the moment I walk in, I feel like I am going to hang out and share some laughs with old friends knowing that I will I leave with a genuine smile in my heart and, if I can, on my face. I've been terrified of going to the dentist after a horrendous experience of a (former) dentist drilling into a tooth that was not frozen; Dr. Vyas and his team ALWAYS make sure that I am MORE than comfortable before doing anything. They talk me through everything and handle my anxiety like it's nothing (even when I know I am being complete pain in the bottom!). My favorite things about Dr. Vyas is his optimism. I've found that I take better care of my teeth than ever and I literally have pride in my smile. Editing my original review (as I see others have done as well). Making this a 1 star review because I have requested multiple times for the billing department to always send my families dental work to our benefits first (this avoids those surprising charges that three different benefits company say SHOULD be included in the root canal- in addition to the root canal fee, there was a pain control $129). This wasn't the first surprise charge. Further, I have asked for documentation from my dental bills to be provided so I can send them to my benefits. They sent me a couple of blurry images missing titles, missing the dentist location, and only included a few of the charges. I requested all of this a month ago- still nothing! It's unfortunate that we have to switch dental locations as we did really enjoy the dentist but the billing department is not willing to help. My hopes of leaving this 1 star review is that they will provide me the documentation I've been waiting a month to receive.

From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted by the sweetest receptionists who immediately make you feel at home. It wasn’t promising from the get go with the dentist arrivinf 30 mins late (but w.e it happens), and then I was rushed in and seen for literally 2 mins, and most of it was the dentist convincing me to come for another visit. No exam , nothing. Then the receptionist couldn’t figure out the complicated and difficult task of entering my insurance information,, and made me pay for the visit. $89 for 2 mins,,, I will certainly advise my insurance of this illegitimate transaction, and will never return to this place again.

I am saddened by my experience at Dawson Dental on Ira Needles. I was referred because I have a lot of fears going to the dentals, my friend said they were great, and I’m a (soon to be no longe) a student. My latest and probably the worst experience is that due to COVID they had to keep pushing my appointment (totally understandable no one was open). Once they were open they called to re-book (this happened 2X). Then I was called and told for the 3rd time that it was be cancelled again due to COVID protocol and they needed more time between clients (again happy they are following protocol) I let reception know that my insurance was running out at the end of August and I have been experiencing tooth pain. I know I most likely have a cavity or two and need it done before my coverage runs out. I was giving an appointment where they took photos of my teeth and the Dentist said I would need a mouth guard (I thought I was going in for a cleaning). Well... long story short - it’s the last week of August I have called, left messages, sent a request via there website for an appointment and have heard nothing. Very hurt as I will not have insurance - my teeth hurt, I can’t get the mouth guard (which was going to help my migraines) and I’m out $40 paying for part of the x-ray that I’m the end have done nothing. I hope they support other students better than they did me because I’m not sure when I will have coverage again.

My 5 yr old loved Dr vyas! Sadly I don't think we will be returning. In the past year that my son has been going here we have always been screwed with our appointments. The office is modern and clean, the front staff are lovely and organized, the hygienists and dentists are friendly and professional. I’ve come here for cleanings, fillings, and today a wisdom tooth extraction (my last one). Brittany assisted the procedure and went above and beyond to make me feel supported and fully informed. She literally holds your hand and lets you squeeze it if you’re nervous. She answers all of your concerns pre and post procedure. I was debating between adding the laughing gas or forgoing it and just getting local numbing with needles. I opted to go without the gas for risk of nausea and I’m very happy with the decision. Dr. Safa efficiently administered the numbing cream then needles and she had my tooth out in a few minutes! I was shocked how easy it was. I’m amazed at their skill, teamwork, and care. Thank you ladies so much, this has been the most comfortable wisdom tooth removal I’ve ever had and I feel silly for feeling so anxious leading up to the appointment. You’re in good hands here! Also, praises to Tina & Jack who are great hygienists too.

I expected discomfort, admonishment of my on-again and off-again flossing, along with my inattentiveness to bleeding gums. I can't say enough about how great Dr Vyas and his team are. I've had some pretty awful dental experiences in the past, and Dr Vyas has restored my faith in dentistry! Firstly, he explains in plain detail exactly what the options are, and what he recommends, without being pushy. Secondly he is empathetic and kind, constantly checking that everything was going well. He made sure I wasn't experiencing any discomfort at all, and adjusted the level of numbing as he went along to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. His assistant (sorry I forgot her name) was also excellent and very kind. I would highly recommend anyone who is a nervous patient to see Dr Vyas. I also want to mention Alex. Wonderful clinic! To be honest, I chose them just because they are right across the street from where I live. However, I have not been disappointed! The office is clean and welcoming, the receptionists are super friendly (as is the rest of the staff), they offer you coffee or water while you wait. I hadn't had insurance for awhile and I was embarrassed to go see a dentist. On top of that, I have Panic Disorder and am very nervous at the dentist. The staff were friendly, non judgmental, and answered all questions I had. They made me feel at ease, and made sure I was okay during the procedures. Would highly recommend.

I now have an appointment to see my medical doctor for that issue, as it can lead to a type of throat cancer. Thank you Riley and Dr. Tatari for taking my overall health into consideration:) I had a great experience at Dawson Waterloo, when I had to have a cracked tooth removed. Dr. Thakkar explained everything I needed to know about the procedure and replacement options. Today at the Dawson Dental in waterloo, I had the upmost respect from all the team members and dentists, I usually am a really nervous individual when it comes to making an appointment with the dentist or even going in at all, it can be a time full of emotions, anxiety, embarrassment and uncomfortable feelings. I noticed right away with Dawson that it was unlike other offices, they greeted me with a warm welcome and coffee tea or water, the office did not smell like a dental office (weird I know) ! the office was decorated with beautiful chandlers and all the staff were eager to help me and introduce themselves. Today was a exam and a Hygiene appointment for me as a new patient and I can honestly say that this experience was both pleasant accurate fast and not painful at all. I have had some very mixed experiences with this location. Many have been positive, but then the negative experiences have been so bad that it tends to negate any of the positive ones. Over the past couple years their administrative staff has had constant changeovers, and the individuals that were incredibly difficult to deal with (Amy) are gone, so I'm hopeful that moving forward there won't be [as many] issues. With that said, the 2 main dentists and their long term hygienists are great. Tina Q, one of the hygienist is the absolute best I have ever found. I have severe TMJ and she always gives me as much time as I need to rest my jaw and reduce the pain associated with it. I would highly recommend her to anyone :)

last week I had called to make an appointment because I had fell on a walk earlier in my day and I was very impressed from the minute the phone was answered. Alicia was the receptionist who had answered my call and she was very sympathetic and her voice very friendly and genuine, not only was she great on the phone but she had managed to help me see the dentist the same day I called, as soon as I arrive to the office it was very bright and clean, I was welcomed by Alicia and I really felt like I belonged to this dental office as she re assured me we were talking with one another on the phone, Alicia offered me a Luke warm water as my teeth were very sensitive to cold and hot so this was thoughtful. From the front of the office to the back was an amazing experience Chloe is the dental assistant that helped me she sat by my side through the whole process and was very positive and genuine about every conversation she made with me. The dental work was very smooth and explained throughly by Dr.Thakkar and very friendly. This dental office really makes you feel like your concerns and opinions of you own dental health are valid and they make sure your questions are answered in full. By the end of my appointment I was already excited to see what this office had in store for me. Chloe walked me back to the front desk so I wasn’t wondering around lost on where to go next after my appointment and Alicia helped me by explaining all dental treatment that would be needed next all prices and even sent an estimate to my insurance without me having to ask. This is really a stress free office as much as a dental office can be. The best dentist office in the Region! I have been going here for a few years and I have never had a bad experience. Dr. Vyas is very patient and genuinely cares about his patients. He is extremely patient with children and always goes out of his way to make you feel reassured and comfortable. Recently had my wisdom teeth out and was extremely anxious and nervous. Dr. Vyas and the dental hygienist talked me through the entire procedure, kept me calm and was as gentle. Recovery went very well with no pain afterwards as Dr.Vyas had said. Very pleased with this office and there great customer service.

Let me start by saying the staff at this location are very nice and polite. Between that and the pretty office I was all in for this dentist. I went for basic cleanings and had a cavitie filled, but another cavitie had gone to long and needed to be fixed with a root canal. At this point there where no problems on their end, I will take the blame for my in adiquit oral care. After my root canal I was told I had to come back because the doctor had not done the job right the first time. So I went back and it was free of charge of course so that's good. But my real problem is that I had to go back for a thrid root canal because the infection spread to the tooth beside the one that had recently been what they called "taken care of". I'm no dentist but I would like to think that part of taking care of the problem is getting rid of any infections. Now I took the antibiotics like they prescribed for me after the second root canal but still had to go back for a third on a new tooth because of a infection that wasn't taken care of and they never did a fallow up to monitor the infected tooth. Maybe I just had a very bad experience here but I will never set foot in this office again. I spent alot of money here and now I'm going back to another dentist to fix another root canal. Don't waste your time and money on this place.

I visited Dawson dental Waterloo for the first time today and had a really good experience. Dr. Tatari was very polite and patient with me during the exams. Afifa was very helpful guiding me to different exams. The hygienist (sorry I didn't catch your name) did a good job with teeth scaling. The clinic was modern and clean, and they practiced social distancing in the waiting room and required face masks for COVID precautions(which I really appreciate). I highly recommend this clinic!

I went for the first time today and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had at the dentist. all the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and nobody pressured me to get additional treatments I didn't need for the health and safety of my teeth. They did a great job of explaining everything and another great thing is for those who don't have insurance they have a pay as you go option which really helps with the bills! My dental assistant was Chloe who helped me get my mouth guard impressions, she was a genuine bubbly person who seemed to genuinely care about my well-being and comfort, I personally don;t have any fears about the dentist but some people do and after my treatment I saw her taking the time to sit with patients who were uncomfortable or nervous and make sure they had everything they needed and was cheering them up. She really seemed to be making a difference. My hygienist Rylie was very professional, gentle, and funny. I didn't experience any pain at all during my cleaning and my teeth have never felt better. We even discussed some of my concerns about my teeth and assured me that they were perfectly fine! Dr. Vyas is a great guy who is really funny and professional, he checked my teeth quickly and efficiently and congratulated me on my efforts as I had no cavities. It seems like nothing but it actually felt great to be told by a dentist that my teeth were doing great. All that brushing pays off! Overall Dawson Dental is a great place with friendly and knowledgeable staff who truely care about everyone's individual experience. There's nothing to fear from Dawson Dental, and they have free coffee and water too! 10/10

Dr Vyas and the team at Dawson Dental Waterloo are amazing! Dr. Vyas is very friendly, funny, gentle, and nonchalant, which really makes the experience so wonderful. He explains everything BEFORE he does it so there are no surprises (i.e. "now you're going to feel a cold metal on your gums", or "this is not going to taste good but I'll give you a rinse right away"). I my first root canal done recently and he was so quick (less than 50 minutes) and gentle I didn't feel a thing beyond the freezing. I've had zero pain since the procedure, which is awesome! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Vyas!! Also a quick shoutout to Chloe, his assistant, who is super friendly and informative. The staff at the front desk are always smiling and ready to help. I had my first appointment with Dawson Dental on Friday December 3, 2021 with Dr. Yoo. I have to admit I’ve been avoiding dental service for the past few years as I suffer from dental anxiety, but also find many dental offices either offer a very limited scope of services or they’re more interested in selling services (needed or not) to use up all of your benefits. After much research and reading reviews, I felt that Dawson Dental might be a good fit for me so I decided to give them a try. Right from the start it was easy to book an appointment. I chose to use the online chat which was convenient. Upon arrival on appointment day, the administrative staff were friendly and welcoming. The x-ray technicians were great, and the hygienist that performed my cleaning was exceptionally thorough and I left with the whitest teeth I think I’ve ever had in my life! Further, this was my first experience with a hygienist that didn’t make me feel awful and get all huffy about how I brushed and flossed. I was however most impressed with Dr. Yoo. She truly listened to my needs and concerns and was vey understanding of my dental anxiety and negative experiences which had caused me to avoid the dentist. She very clearly explained my X-rays and a small amount of work she thought would be beneficial. It was obvious that she was interested in improving and maintaining my dental health and not simply maximizing the sale of services which I found refreshing. Her demeanour was quite pleasant and warm and she took a great deal of time to make sure I had all my questions answered. I never felt rushed or like she had somewhere else to be. All in all, my experience at Dawson Dental on Ira Needles well exceeded all my expectations. If you’re looking for a new dental office, I’d highly recommend them, especially if you’ve had some not so great experiences in the past.

Bad experience on more than one occasion, there staff are way to stuffy. The dentists are alright but there office staff are brain dead. They do not know how to send off paperwork and when they realize that they made a mistake (witch is often) they expect you to take care of it for example they sent the wrong information to my insurance and I received a phone from them saying that they couldn't process my info because the name and adress were wrong on the claim papers, and on top of that, there staff therr will ask you if they can call you when your appointment is coming sure that's fine but you specify that they should call you after 4 when your done work not at 230 when your in the middle of a meeting and the entire board room glares at you like your the idiot!? Anyway enough ranting there actull staff are great at what they do but there office staff are a bunch of bone heads! A chimp could do their job and make less thus saving patients money and a headach

have very bad experience there, their patient management system is chaos. I got wrong appointment twice in 2 weeks. My wife had her appointment in Oct, but they called me that the appointment is Aug and told me my wife has confirmed which is not the case at all. 2nd time I went there for 12:30 appointment which confirmed by email. and turns out they scheduled to 1:30. both time they claim it is due to their system error, but why the system keep making mistakes and didn't get fixed? I don't think they care the customers at all, have decided not to be with them anymore

Everything I ask for she can't do- can't tell me what my insurance is covering, can't forward my claim to the insurance company, can't make changes to my file. Everyone else can, but she can't. It's unfortunate- it's a great office, but too many "I can't"... Update: This branch STILL has not submitted an insurance claim from 2 months ago. Contacted their head office and the District Manager, Tara, was supposed to look into this and contact me. She has yet to do so. Now I can see why this location is having difficulties!

Run as fast as you can away from these people. We have never been treated so poorly by anyone. Before offering my comments, I will state that I am 69 years of age and as such came from an era where Dental Procedures left most from my generation with an acute phobia of Dentists. For my entire life a visit to the dentist was always precipitated by an emergency for pain relief. In December of 2016 such an emergency occurred and I was forced to seek help. My wife highly recommended that I see Dr Vyas and that is how I became a patient of Dr Vyas and I can honestly say that I am glad I did. He is, in my opinion, a highly skilled professional with that ingredient missing in all the Dentists I have seen in the past and that is EMPATHY and a sincere desire to provide a pain free experience. He explains all the options clearly and allows the patient to decide what is best for themselves. On the second visit I selected conscious sedation for an extraction and of course I do not recall any of the procedure. Since then on three subsequent visits only freezing was used. After the initial "pinch" as Dr V calls it there was no further discomfort. I have lost my fear of going to the dentist thanks to Dr Vyas. Every single step is explained thoroughly so NO surprises. He has an amazing demeanor & a wonderful rapport with his patients. Friendly, kind and gentle. Thank you Dr Vyas, I will see you next year with no worry, no fear!! The office staff deserves more than a mention: Leeann, the office manager, goes above and beyond to welcome you and to talk to you about any apprehensions you may have. She shares in the patient's experience and takes a genuine interest in your concerns. She is so kind and friendly. Thanks Leeann! Chloe, the dental assistant, Can't thank you enough. I was referred here by my dentist because she was unable to freeze my tooth and it needs a root canal. This office was chosen because they state on their website that they offer general anesthesia and that is what I need. While Dawson was able to determine I have an infection in that tooth, they told me that they would have to refer me to their Guelph office as they didn't have general anesthesia at the IRA Needles location. Upon calling the Guelph offices, I was informed by the receptionist that they don't even have an anesthesiologist on staff. Huge waste of my time, especially with a severely painful tooth and a time limit to get it treated before it worsens. I was told I would get a call back to explain the situation but that never happened. The only positive thing I have to say is that they didn't charge me for the x-ray they took. If you are needing general anesthesia, go somewhere else.

After being covered by my parents' insurance for the majority of my life, I turned 25 and found that I had to use my coverage through university for the first time. My school offered a 25% discount at dentists on the Spencer Health Network, so I made an appointment at Dawson Dental in Waterloo. I've been going to the same dentist in Kitchener for years, so I was more than a little apprehensive. All of my communication with Dawson was pleasant and courteous, whether on the phone or through email. When I showed up for my appointment, I got in to see my hygienist Amanda very quickly. She was GREAT! She did a great job cleaning and polishing my teeth (and doing an oral cancer screening, which was half off!) and I was in and out of there in 45 minutes flat. The people who work there are so nice, the interior is lovely and very comfortable, and the Food Network was on during my appointment (which might seem cruel considering you can't eat or drink for 30 minutes after your appointment!) - all awesome things. The best part? I loved the little dental goody bag. Toothbrush, mouthwash, toothbrush cap for travelling, floss, toothpaste. I'm seriously considering switching dentists because of the fantastic treatment I received at Dawson!!!

I am a new patient and was in today to have 4 teeth pulled. My previous experiences with OTHER dentists have not been good with a great deal of associated pain. As such I was very nervous about my appointment today. Dr. Vyas and Brittany were simply wonderful. Both did a great job making me feel welcome and and putting me at ease. Dr. Vyas explained what he was going to do and advised me to be sure and let him know if I was feeling any pain. I tried this dentist because my last one is a little too far. But what a terrible experience! They will not call insurance to check if I'm covered. I ended up paying 175.00 for a visit that normally would cost me 10 with my last dentist. Also it was by far the most painful visit to the dentist! I thought if I pay good I will get good service. Wow was I wrong. I'm going back to my dentist in Preston for as long as she is there! King street dentistry. They charge me about 10 dollars each visit. And they will check my coverage and not go outside my coverage unless I say so! And its completely pain free! As she says it should be! King street dentistry in Preston! Check them out!

First off I would love to start off by this place is amazing clean and up to date and professional. All around an amazing exsperience. My facilitate part is Alicia, she’s always greeting me with a smile and offering me a beverage and asking about how I am doing and actually genuinley cares. You can tell she enjoys her job and it really shows and makes me feel that much better about trusting Dawson with my oral health and financial. I also really enjoy seeing all the hyginene staff there all so great. Who am I kidding the whole office is great. Keep up the great work Dawson!

Broke patient confidentiality the receptionist who particularly wears lots of gold jewelry is very rude and inconsiderate the dentist lady who is there is very rude and very aggressive I wouldn't waste your time and your money on someone who's going to give you the runaround if you actually need something really done cuz they're just going to send you somewhere else and oh by the way they don't do anything with anesthesiology there so when they say oh yeah we do sleep Dental they're Liars
