I had to get my lower wisdom teeth extracted since both had decayed and started crumbling years ago. However, having had a traumatic experience at the dental chair in my teens, I was terrified of extractions and tried to avoid the procedure for as long as possible. Obviously, I was very nervous walking into the clinic, but Dr. Kobilov and his staff were amazing. Throughout the procedure, he made sure that I was ok and not feeling any discomfort. He pulled both my teeth in no time and I did not feel a thing! I was very satisfied with the quality of care I received at KMA Dental, so I made follow-up appointments for cleaning and filling. Thank you Dr. Kobilov to you and to your amazing staff (Holly, Diedra, Dr. Thoms) for this wonderful experience!

Dr.Kobilov does amazing job. My daughter had hard time with previous dentists and when we brought her to Kmadental for treatment Dr. Kobilov explained every step in easy language and she was very cooperative. All her cavities were fixed. Also I had my 2 teeth extracted by Dr. Kobilov and I can say he has golden hands. We finally have our family dentist and are very happy.

The staff was amazing and very personable. With some encouragement, we took the youngest boy to see the dentist. Unfortunately, he had a horrifying experience somewhere else before and said he would never visit a dentist again. As soon as we arrived and was greated by the friendly staff, it became quite evident they had our/his best interests in mind. He had an amazing experience and was so happy with Dr.Thoms. I recently switched to KMA as I was having issues with my other dentist. The first appointment with KMA was an overview of what needed to be done - second appointment was wisdom teeth extraction (eeeeek). I am EXTREMELY nervous when it comes to visiting the dentist & Dr. Kobilov did absolutely amazing keeping me calm and comfortable. He walked me through every step of the procedure, and asked me multiple times throughout if I needed a break or if I was feeling uneasy. Currently on my 3rd day of recovery from the procedure & I haven’t felt an inch of pain the entire time. Thank you so much for making what I thought would be a terrifying experience, a breeze for me!

I had a very good experience at KMA Dental. The attention is great and the service is superb. Dr. Kobilov and his assistant, Kim, managed to save one of my molars, which was in bad condition and hurting terribly. I started to see Dr. K after returning from living in Mexico where I had a horrific experience that left me quite anxious about dental care for the first time in my long life. However after the first visit to this office and under the excellent care of Dr. K and his wonderful assistants, I feel much calmer and at ease about going to the dentist. He has removed a tooth, put in a crown and replaced fillings all pain-free and providing me with the appropriate information about the procedure and after care. I highly recommend this great team.

I'm giving 2 stars only because the hygienists and receptionists were nice. However, I left earlier this year due to obvious shoddy work: unthorough dental cleanings, a botched filling by Kobilov that had to be fixed by another dentist at the office (I overheard his conversation when it was getting fixed), just overall not happy with their work. I'm at a lovely dental center now and they're shocked and say it's obvious dental cleanings have not been done properly for the past few YEARS - during the time I was a patient at KMA. These lazy cleaning jobs have led to gum issues and tartar that's been left on for years. All of the cleaning jobs were inspected and OKed by Kobilov - who never once told the hygienists to go back and fix up an area. Don't waste your time nor money here. You think you're helping your oral health but really, their work is so incomplete that it's just wasting your time and money (and benefits).

I write this standing in front of their closed and locked door at the time I am supposed to be in for an appointment. The door is locked and no one answers if I knock. When I called the office I was greeted by a message telling me they have cancelled all appointments for a while... I never got a call, an email, a letter, anything. I Spent money on an Uber here and now I stand here with my mouth in pain with no choice but to look for another dentist as I need this work done. For what it's worth all the dentistry done here has been great but I have had repeat issues with scheduling and billing.

I personally needed a filling and a good cleaning. After a thorough assessment, Dr. Kobilov clearly explained what the problem was and how it needed to be fixed. I had my first wisdom tooth extraction on April 13, 2017 at Dr.Kobilov's clinic. I didn't have an appointment until 11 in the morning but Heidi made a time for me so that I could see Dr.Kobilov the same day. I was able to see Dr.Kobilov and get everything done by 12:30. Later, I heard that Dr.Kobilov sacrificed his lunch time for me. I am very thankful for his dedication! As it was my first wisdom tooth, I was very nervous and especially because mine was growing in side way. But Dr.Kobilov was very understanding and patient with my questions and concerns and it made me feel comfortable. The extraction took only 5-7 min as I remember and I didn't feel any pain during operation. Seriously, when I was getting ready to have some pain, what I heard was that it was finished. I highly recommend Dr.Kobilov if you have pain on your wisdom teeth, and possibly any other dental issues. Also, I was at the clinic only for an hour or so, but everyone was very friendly so I felt like I've been there before. Thank you again Dr.Kobilov and Heidi for taking care of my wisdom tooth.

Dr.Kobilov was able to have me in on short notice to remove a wisdom tooth. I didn't feel any pain during the extraction and I was very impressed with his quality of work. Chipped my front-right tooth in an unfortunate accident. My usual dentist didn't have any openings for a week and a half. I wasn't comfortable waiting that long, in case of tooth became infected or the pulp started to rot. I called several places, and KMA was able to see me in less than a days' notice! Staff were all genuinely warm and friendly, and after reviewing the xray of the chipped tooth, the Dr broke the good news that the pulp hadn't been exposed, so likely all I needed was a simple filling. Procedure was quick and painless albeit uncomfortable, and the filling has great color matching with the original bottom half of the tooth. The Dr booked a follow-up appointment for next week to ensure the integrity of the filling and to make sure the root stays infection-free. All in all very satisfied with my experience at KMA and am probably just going to keep them as my regular dental office.

While visiting Kingston I had a dental emergency. Not knowing any dentists in Kingston I randomly chose KMA Dental. My first contact was over the phone with Holly. She was so pleasant, patient, and understanding, she put me at ease immediately. Dr. Kobilov was fully booked that day. Instead of turning me away he saw me during his lunch time. He and his assistant were both so kind. He immediately identified the problem and provided me with what I needed until I was able to see my family dentist in Toronto. I recently switched to Dr. Kobilov’s office for dental services and had a tooth extracted on Halloween 2016. I sincerely appreciate Dr. Kobilov and the staff — they are amazing, professional, courteous, and friendly. They have never pressured me into getting unnecessary dental work performed, and I feel much better since the extraction of the tooth, which was bothering me for some time (the root of the tooth had a fracture and was encouraging bacterial growth, causing bad breath, etc.) When I had the tooth extracted (on Halloween), the odour from the tooth was unbearable, to me…; yet, Dr. Kobilov and his staff did not make any unpleasant faces, but expressed their genuine concerns about my health, and carefully explained the aftercare procedure. They are very professional and caring. Again, I would like to thank Dr. Kobilov and everyone who works at the dental clinic, for making it a ‘pleasant (not at all painful)’ experience. I highly recommend Dr. Kobilov’s dental clinic team - :,)

They seem very competent, which I suppose is the most important thing, but I really value having really nice dental hygenists/staff/dentists to interact with on my visits to a dentist, and after a few visits to KMA, I've found that most of the people there aren't particularly friendly. The staff is very friendly. However, I was told that I need to get 3 fillings, which turned out to be false. I checked with a couple of other dentists before making the final decision, and it turned out they were all discolorations rather then caries. You better double-check.

To all City of Kingston Employees with dental coverage; our 100% extensive coverage does not cover the full costs at KMA. I went in twice and both times I had to pay out of my pocket. I wish I knew this prior to going in. Also, if you own a vehicle, you would have to pay for parking on some days. On another note, KMA’s receptionist and hygienist are one of a kind and really go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. Thank you for your services!

I had broken teeth and Dr. Kobilov removed all my upper and lower teeth. I had failing teeth and failing partial dentures.He made a upper and lower complete dentures. It was planned implant supported upper and lower dentures. After he placed 8 implants and made upper and lower dentures. After 8 months he modified the dentures to sit on the implants and I was so happy to have stable dentures. Thank you Dr. Kobilov and Kmadental for wonderful dental experience. Now I can eat anything, He made the impossible to possible.
