Have spent about 3 months or so having my teeth removed and fitted for dentures, and even to the point of having 10 teeth removed in the same 1 hr sitting(yesterday) and I must say they are truly professional, quick and relatively pain free. The best dental experience I could ever imagine. Quality work! Shalom!

Been coming here for almost 5 years in the last 2 years they have when down hill they are now using freezing that last up to max 1 hour and it dose not work well they use 10 needles and i could still feel my tooth they were working on and the freezing only last 20 mins for me dont go to this place

I have been coming to the Kingston office since my former dentist packed up and left town several years ago. Every experience has been phenomenal. Always covered by my Insurance no matter which company I was with. Direct billing to the Insurance company is now done and very welcomed. I have had everything from root canal to crowns to hygiene appointments. Several different dentists and hygienists over the years but never a bad experience.

Best dentist in a long time! I told Dr Craig my concerns and my wishes and he really felt for me! He wanted to help and set up a plan!! Now I'll finally have no more pain or an ugly smile!! And his assistant Diane is so amazing!! She was soo kind and was quick to comfort me when I was upset!! So thank you dr Craig and Diane! Also the secretarys there are outstanding!! Polite and best customer service I've seen in a long time!!! So thank you again!!

I have been client here for over a year now. Overall the staff is professional and does a good job. My dentist (Dr Virk) has been very good with me when it comes to various procedures as I tend to panic a lot when it comes to dental procedures. And my hygienist at Hedgehouse is great too. That being said, I have shown up to an appointment that was canceled after I had arrived and waited for close to 1/2hr.

For the past 4 years, I’ve been suffering from oral infections caused by a dentist malpractice for wanting a simple “Hollywood Smile”. Those infections lead to the loss of most of my upper and some of my lower jaw bones and teeth. It was too bad that most doctors refused to even accept my case. I lost hope in having teeth at all ever again. Fate lead me to Dr. Craig who took me in and redesigned my smile from scratch. Over the course of 2 years full of complicated surgeries and procedures including teeth extraction, bone grafting, infection reduction, root canal re-treatement, crowns replacement, besides simple cavities removal and fillings. All this with local or full sedation depending on my level of comfort. Dr. Craig turned this super painful journey to joyful experiences with his usual warm smile, sense of humour and understanding to me as a person before being his patient. It’s not just Dr. Craig, its all the crew of the nurses Diane and Carol and the cheerful front disk admins Casey and Hailey. I’ll ever be thankful and grateful to them and I’ll never forget any of my happy dental visits.

I absolutely hate going to the Dentist and went here and wound up needing a root canal and my wisdom teeth pulled. Both times I received IV sedation and actually didn't mind the experience at all. Pain levels afterwards were so minimal that I only took 2 or 3 of the Tylenol 3's (out of 30) that were prescribed.. I found it a friendly, professional place where they do top notch work.

I was hoping to find a great dentist with relocating back to Kingston. I was referred to Dr. Craig through a friend. First couple of times were great but then I started to see the service (in my opinion lacking in quality.) I had a filling put in and within 6 hours it broke. I did some "do it yourself" dentistry until I had to see Dr. Craig in 2 weeks. When I told him his response was "you did a good job at smoothing it?" on my "do it myself" dentistry fix. Not "book an appointment, let's fix that, no apology" just a remark such as that? I would like to say my tooth still need fixing. I was booked for my next cleaning, and a quote for veneers, not an appointment to fix my tooth? I would also like to say I am both a nail biter and grinder...from my research - both do not respond well to veneers. If I am so great at doing my own dentistry - guess there is no need for this dentist!

I had not been to the dentist for a very long time and was very happy with my experience. The hygenist was very thorough and nice. Due to my fear of needles I had avoided the dentist, but Dr Payam did my fillings and he has a technique of shaking the lip that distracted me and I barely noticed the needle. I would recommend this office to my friends and family.

I am not a fan of the dentist in general but the moment you walk in you are welcomed by friendly faces and of course a beautiful view of lake Ontario! I also love that this dentist has direct billing with my insurance as that is very helpful! I have severe anxiety disorder, and this makes visiting the dentist extremely difficult for me. Dr. Craig's office is completely unlike any I've ever been to. The front office staff and the support staff are kind, patient, friendly, efficient, and skilled at their jobs. I have work done while sedated, and while that was worrying the first time, the nurse who has been there supervising each time is very sympathetic and skilled (I usually don't even have a bruise from the IV), and I'm not afraid anymore when I need to go in. I've never had any problem afterwards with work that's been done here, needing it to be fixed or redone, and they're very good at listening and taking what I say seriously. I can't recommend Dr. Craig's office highly enough, especially for anyone with anxiety. (Dr. Craig and co: thank you from Steph Shangraw!)

The receptionists are exceptionally communicative and helpful, and worked with me to ensure that I used my student insurance as best as possible. My husband and I have been going to Dr David Craig's office for probably 8 years now..Both of us dislike being at the dentist but the experiences we have had are amazing... 1. The reception staff are so friendly, sharing of themselves which is a big comfort for us.. 2.. The hygenists, assistants, and nurses are also able to relax you and make feel comfortable. They are all smiling and chat with you. 3. I was referred here by another clinic. Never in my life have I had to go back to the dentist TWICE after the initial visit because they made mistakes on filling a cavity. I’m glad it was fixed, as it should of been. But I am really upset in the first place that I had a dentist who clearly did not care about what she doing, and a dental hygienist who literally told me I was not in pain, when I was. I still am needing to figure out why my teeth have moved in two places from another dentist as this office seems to think they can just side step it. I’m very upset with the damage they have caused. You only get one set of teeth, do not waste them by coming to this place. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. Listen to the bad reviews, there’s a reason there’s so many. Also, what dentist office actually encourages a good review out of you? If the dentist were good, they would get genuine reviews!

I have been a patient here for at least a decade after my previous dentist (with whom I was very happy) retired. The hygienists are caring, and Dr. Craig is good if you get to see him. However, his associates are not good and seem to have a quota to fill/just interested in making money. The biggest reason for my low rating is I have fillings that have lasted decades, but the fillings I get here barely last 2-3 years despite doing everything I can to take care of my teeth. Also, like another reviewer, the fix on my chipped tooth didn't last. Because of their shoddy prior work, I now need 2 crowns and am searching for a new dentist.

I had such bad teeth that I was embarrassed to go to the dentist. The wonderful people at Dr craigs office in napanee were very kind and respectful. If they were judging me it didn't show. I also love how quick they were able to book me in. I had 4 fillings yesterday and it was a good experience overall. The freezing was more than enough. I didn't feel a thing. They seemed to really care about my comfort during the process as well. Very professional place. I actually look forward to my next appointment!

Only ran up my dental insurance, couldn't afford to get any dental work I needed done because they were not working with my insurance company. Would NOT recommend. There were aware how much my insurance covered and did NOT accomodate at all, just gave me estimates of over $600 that they new would not be covered. All they care about is the cha-ching, not patient care, definitely one of the top worst dental offices in Kingston, Ontario. Stay away from both locations. Based on these reviews, I'm not the only client that has had a bad experience. If you read far enough below there is another one. Not to mention, doing giveaways for good reviews. I wouldn't trust the positive comments on this place since they just buy them with a contest to provide them with a review

Amazing Staff! When I need help, a quick friendly phone call means I will get it. I was in the other day for a cleaning and the technologist discovered 2 issues and on my way out a receptionist arranged an appointment for shortly after. I have had a lot of difficulties in the past with dentists, including one when I was young that was quite traumatic. That means I'm usually very nervous, but I've come to trust Dr. Craig and company. Whether you need standard freezing, nitrous oxide, or even complete sedation - they'll make sure you get through with as little pain and stress as they possibly can. Also, they accept government coverage from ODSP (disability) and Ontario Works and also student coverage from Queen's University and SLC. ~Jackie LaRonde
