Dr. Nickolaychuk is an excellent Orthodontist and we refer all of our patients to him. His staff is extremely friendly, very helpful and they are conveniently located right beside us.

Yay! Not a client, but I got my retainer replaced here and it was one of the easiest experiences I've ever had at a clinic. My regular orthodontist said it would take over A MONTH to replace my retainer that I lost. Meanwhile here they were able to get me an appointment the next day, and I picked up my retainer the same day. At the exact same price as my regular orthodontist. Lovely decorations inside, nice coffee maker and the staff are welcoming. The Keith Urban sign made me laugh as well. Highly reccomend!

I am not the one who has the braces, my partner has them. I did have braces in my teens for almost three years, and I never had to have my brackets ripped off multiple times because they were mounted in the wrong position. Nor did they move my teeth back and forth several times with no seemingly plan. Constant trouble, I feel very sorry for her. Must be budget braces. Definitely not worth watching her suffer with wires gouging the inside of her cheeks, teeth moving way out of place everytime she gets an adjustment and has to go back for adjustments. Very far from my experience years ago!

My daughter's teeth were very crowded, like my own were back in the day. They came out looking beautiful and she is so happy with her straight teeth. All the staff are excellent to deal with. Her treatment time was for 18-24 months and if it wasn't for a broken arm and a COVID shut down she would have had them off 6 months earlier. I had braces many years ago and was floored at how fast her teeth moved. It seemed that her teeth moved to what ever position that was adjusted for a few hours later. So weird....and even though her teeth were very crowded, no teeth had to be removed. This new system of braces is amazing. She wanted the white braces and they were hardly noticeable from a glance. Great for teens. Thank you Dr.Kotyk and staff. Fantastic experience from start to finish.

Dr. Nick and his team have been absolutely amazing with both my kids! My son has Down Syndrome and his experience throughout his treatment has been great. He would look forward to every visit with Dr.Nick and his team. They have always made him feel special and did what they could to ensure each visit was a pleasant experience. I have to give a special shout out to Jenna who would ALWAYS took the time to ask my son how he was doing, about the Jets and what was new in his life. She genuinely cared, and it showed. She always made sure she looked after him at each visit. That consistanticy meant so much to him and keep things familiar to him. Dr.Nick has been outstanding in guiding us through the past 3 yrs which included jaw surgery. My son’s experience was better than I could ever have imagined. We never once felt like we were “just another patient” we felt like family from the first visit. I would 100% recommend Dr. Nick and his team. I really wrestled with whether I should get braces or not. I am a senior (64 at the time) and wondered if I was having a late-life crisis!! Maybe I should just buy a sports car instead? I had all kinds of crazy thoughts like, `I must be the oldest patient for braces in history` and what if all my teeth fall out`. Dr. Nick assured me I was not the oldest (a 70 year old held that record) and my teeth would definitely not fall out. I decide to go for it and I`m so glad I did. Dr. Nick and team were fantastic to work with! Their expertise, helpfulness and attention to detail and service was fantastic. And I am very satisfied and happy with the results. It was a VERY WORTHWHILE two year investment and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend braces and Dr. Nick's Team, especially for adult and older patients. They told me I probably wouldn't need surgery in the beginning only to tell me it was the only option a few months in. It also feels like everybody there is new because most appointments I would have problems with the people talking to their Co workers not paying attention to what they are doing in my mouth so they have to break off and re apply a bracket or pick it up after dropping it in my mouth. I tend to have lots of patience hence how I dealt with it all but some ladies would put there body weight on you when trying to close a bracket like they are trying to deal with a stuck nut on a car and I'd have to request to not have that person again.

For much of my adult life I was unhappy with my smile, practically afraid to show my teeth. It wasn't until my mid 30s that I worked up the courage to get braces. After so many life experiences, taking the leap to fix my smile seemed like an impossible mission because of my age. When I first met with Dr. Nick I was skeptical about the work that could be done. I didn't believe I could have "that" smile that you see in pictures. And for all the adventures I've gone on, this seemed like a terrifying experience. From the first visit until the last appointment, Dr. Nick's team put me at ease, made me feel welcome, and checked on me along the way. I knew what to expect every time I sat in the chair and I knew what was coming on the next visit. One of the coolest things was getting a 3-D time-lapse video to see how my treatment would go. I watched that over and over and really psyched myself up to go through the process. Rather than feeling dread that I had two years of braces ahead of me, it's like there was a countdown because I knew what the end result would be. It's weird that after two and a half years (it ran a little longer than expected because of corona shutdowns) you get to know these people and they remember things about you and the conversations you have during the appointments. You're not just another patient on the schedule. I think they were more excited about my progress than I was! I recommend working with Kildonan Orthodontics -- and I say working with because you're in the loop every step of the way and much of the treatment involves your participation wearing elastics and taking care of the braces. You work together with them the whole time. I couldn't have had a more positive experience. Definitely a place for your orthodontic work at any age. It sounds cliché, but it literally was life changing. I gladly smile big now thanks to them.

this is the best orthodontics in winnipeg. i love this dentist and the staff that work here. dr. nickolaychuk and his staff in this dentist are very friendly, nice, loving and caring. i’ve had braces before, and him and his staff were always so gentle, and i was always happy with the results. i’ve never ever had a problem with them❤️this dentist is so clean and organized. i highly recommend this orthodontics to many people, because they are by far the best. i love this dentist and i love going here!

I can’t rave enough about the amazing experience I had over the past year and a half of my ortho treatment. Dr.Nick is always so professional, personable, and always in a positive and uplifting mood! Huge shout out as well to Kayla who not only assisted with putting my braces on but also was there to assist in removing them! Being in the dental field myself (General Dentistry), I can appreciate an honest, high tech, and efficient office. I just completed my orthodontic treatment, and my son is now starting. I am very fussy about my teeth as I deal with people on a daily basis. Dr. Brent Nickolaychuk worked with my teeth until i was 100% satisfied. He does this will all of his patients, which is why we refer so many patients to him. He has excellent communication skills, no question will go unanswered. His staff are incredible when it comes to Customer Service, whether they are clinicians or admin staff. Dr. Brent and Dr. Matt use the highest quality, and best technology on their patients. The design of their office shows they take pride in what they do. They have regular contests and support the major league sports teams on game days while dressed in game attire. It's the perfect place for adults and kids! They have 3 locations to look after you - Selkirk, Kildonan and Southdale. I have been very pleased with having been a patient there, and will continue to recommend them to others.
