I have been to this clinic for both an assessment and a cleaning and my experience has been great! I was 8 months pregnant and they were very careful to not do anything that could potentially harm the baby and made me feel very comfortable and at home.

For someone that doesn't stop talking, with a touch of OCD & a meticulous eye for perfection, my smile is a pretty important asset of my face. It took about a year & a half to achieve straighter teeth with Invisalign at Sunnyside Dental. The perks - next to invisible, easy to remove for eating, cleaning & flossing. Simple. Painless. & if course, a straighter smile. Sunnyside Dental certainly improved my smile, with friendly staff & reasonable pricing. The downside - Even with wearing my retainers 20 hours out of the day, overbite relapsed & I was back into full on treatment for another 6 months. ???????? I also mentioned a front tooth moving forward & felt like it just kept ignored, told the retainers would help it.. finally after 6 months they agreed retainers weren't doing much in assisting tooth & installed a bonded retainer.

I was booked in for a teeth cleaning before it was free, the receptionist picked this time for me. I have full benefits and teeth cleaning is covered fairly often. After i asked why i was being charged i was told "i booked it in at the wrong time". I did not pick the time to book it they did, and i was also charged for a fluoride treatment i did not ask for . (after seeing your response i thought i would edit my review) When i was called over the phone, no one offered me a refund and the person on the phone was literally calling to tell me I was wrong. I mentioned my issues at the front desk and the receptionist was very uncooperative. I still have not been given a refund for a fluoride treatment i did not request.

I had invisalign braces recommended to me by my dental hygienist and Dr. Koning after breaking several molars due to a misaligned overbite, grinding and clenching. I also had a front tooth that, without room had stuck out and overlapped the other front tooth which resulted in a self-conscious, lopsided closed lipped smile. Finally convinced, from a save my teeth from further breakage standpoint, I had invisalign started in July of 2018. After the first few weeks of discomfort from lacerations from the edges of the braces (which is avoidable with a disposable wax substance you can stick to any rough edges) it soon became habit forming. My diet changed cutting out snacking in between meals. My teeth became whiter from better oral hygiene (brushing and flossing after every meal before replacing the trays) and after a very short time, I started smiling with an open lipped full toothy grin. The realignment of my overbite and straightening of my teeth took only 8 months and has changed my entire smile, not to mention that I don't grind my teeth at night anymore at the misalignment. At 45 years old, I can't believe I did not get it done sooner for the drastic improvement it has made.

Dr Rao and her assistant Linda were fantastic. A1 for the procedure. So accommodating. I would highly recommend this clinic. Also, i should mention: the cost of an assessment was fractions of other dental clinics. X rays are also very affordable here.
