The staff here are very friendly and welcoming. They really took their time during my first appointment to explain everything to me and do a thorough check up. Dr. Webster seems very competent and cares about his patients. They handled the direct billing to my insurance really well, even though it is an obscure insurance company with weird billing issues. I would definitely recommend this place. Plus, they have a nice waiting room (my appointment started on time, I just arrived about 10 minutes early).

The staff are all very friendly and Sam is a great assistant. Mike Webster explained everything in detail and asked a lot of questions. He genuinely seemed curious about my dental history and any issues that I may have with treatment and surgery. Kelowna Dental was recommended to me by a co-worker and I went to another dental practice before deciding to stick with Kelowna Dental. I should have listened to my co-worker. I am looking forward to a good relationship with Kelowna Dental going forward and I would recommend them to anyone look for a good general dentist in the Okanagan.

The entire experience was absolutely excellent - right from the booking all the way through to the completion of the root canals. I had a very sore tooth when I booked and was apprehensive about what would happen since I had let things get so bad. Well, I could not have been. more pleasantly surprised! They took care of my needs and concerns every step of the way. I understand what was happening and what would be happening. I must say that my root canal here were painless!!! Dental hygienist was top notch but had Dr. Orth who I was seeing to inquire about dental implants. After being quoted about $25K for 3 dental implants and some other dental work. He couldn't answer any of my questions and was rude/dismissive and said some other dentist would call me to talk about the technical procedure. (No one ever did) The only person who persistently called me was a staffer who pushed getting all the work done at once and to finance everything through a company they work with. I got fed up and went elsewhere - so much happier.

I loved my experience getting my teeth looked after with care at The Kelowna Dental Centre. I had old fillings taken out and composites put in. More importantly, they recreated a molar tooth in my mouth that had been overlooked by many other dentists. I have a whole new smile and a molar that I didn't have for 13 plus years. Great service, caring staff, direct billing and checking in with me during each dental procedure on how I was feeling really won me over. I work in tourism and write reviews for restaurants so that tourists can have truly exceptional experiences, which means when I give a referral I choose very carefully. This would be my referral for dental procedures. My female dental surgeon broke the mold when it came to making my composites look so realistic that even my closest friends can't tell where my cavities or old fillings had been. plus...and this is a huge deal...she wore a light on her head the entire time just like a professional surgeon. Just awesome!

I've been seeing Dr. Webster since he opened his practice and he has never disappointed. His expertise and approachable personality puts any dental anxiety you may have at ease. I recently had a root canal and crown work done and am again very pleased with the outcome. I have had a fair bit of work done in the past six months at Kelowna Dental, and I couldn't be happier with their service. The staff is polite and friendly and really went out of their way to set me at ease and make me as comfortable as possible. Dr. Webster has only been my dentist since I moved back to Kelowna in August this year, but I've already been telling all of my friends and family about him. As a younger dentist Dr. Webster is up to date on all the newest techniques and procedures, which helps him to provide a progressive practice with the best possible treatment for his patients. I am also a university student and really appreciated how understanding Dr. Webster and the staff at Kelowna Dental were about working within my budget.

With Dr. Webster and his staff....OMG what a world of difference! We took our 3 year old to Kelowna dental for a second opinion because the first dentist we saw wanted to put her to sleep to fill a cavity. I am so glad we did because Dr Sarah Garbelya was able to fill the cavity with just using laughing gas! We are so impressed with the service from all the staff yhere. Her assistant Chris was the best and made her feel so comfortable by showing her the tools and talking calmly to her. The office is gorgeous, new and clean!! From the front desk to the Dentist everyone there was amazing!!

From my first experience walking through the door the service was wonderful. Everyone was very attentive and caring, and I did not experience any anxiety while have my procedures done. The work was done very well in a reasonably fast time. I definitely recommend Kelowna Dental Centre! Update: I had an unexpected problem with my insurance, and as a result the front reception staff treated me very poorly. I will not support a business that does not treat their customers with respect.

I have moderate to severe anxiety/panic attacks so I wasn’t sure I could make it past the door. I had a 25 year old filling fall out and the tooth was breaking more but I got sent away mid-freeze at another clinic for being too shaky so they suggested I go to a clinic where they have iv anesthetic or gas. Dominica was great, no judgement or fussing around, just wanted to know my story and talk about what procedures needed to be done etc. Dr Webster was so good to come and ask “What needs to happen so I can fix your teeth?” So I said I wanted to try gas instead of going to sleep completely and know what the steps were, how long it takes, and he systematically answered all my questions and addressed my fears, also adding he has had a lot of dental procedures done on himself. Long story short, I tried the gas for a few minutes but decided to not use it the rest of the appointment. I felt faint for a minute during the freezing and needed a minute but then continued with the anesthetist, who also stopped when I needed a break. Dominica was talking to me and being helpful. Dr Webster was very quick and efficient while explaining what he was doing and what to expect. I lifted my finger up to indicate when I needed a rinse etc. Basically I told myself I could survive 1 hour out of my life to do this- and I did! I went in today for my final crown and it went swiftly with way less fear. A nice lady in training seated me and chatted, then Dominica came to check on me and assist Dr. Webster. If I can do it, you can too. They have different types of anesthetics and new things to help with anxieties so I recommend this clinic and their friendly and capable staff- the receptionists are very nice as well and there is a good vibe in the work place.

I've been satisfied with the quality of service of Kelowna Dental Centre since I first visited them 3 years ago. The treatments are painless and the staff is friendly and excellent. The premises were renovated last year, everything looks professional and clean. This year I had a scaling & deep cleaning session performed by Carla. She did an excellent job, I didn't feel any discomfort. I also got 2 crowns. Dr. Trent Orth was my dentist and Julia was his assistant. Julia has a cheerful personality which helped me stay relaxed. Dr. Orth is very precise and keeps balance between being tender and strong with the teeth. I did not have any pain whatsoever. There was a little mix-up with my payment (my fault!). Fida helped me out. She explained me what to submit to the insurance company to fix the situation and provided me with all the necessary documentation. I highly recommend Kelowna Dental Centre!

Terrible experience. Was misquoted by secretaries about the price of things, was told I didn't have an infection when I did...took too long to be dealt with and they cut up my gums more to remove the infection, originally after the tooth removal I was in excruciating pain (I just had a baby by the way) and when I called that's when they decided to inform me they had to remove pieces of my jaw to get the tooth. Something they did not mention to my family coming to pick me up. Seems really nice at first BUT made my fear of dentists spike by ten fold. Who knows what they do to you when you are under. Then you are left with stretched out cheek skin and a hole in your gums that they said WOULD NOT be there. Dentists are the worst. This one like most others only care about you if you have a massive disposable income. I am poor. Which they knew right away. It's the first thing I said to them, so what do they do? Convince me to get an expensive procedure because I was terrified AND want me to pay extra for post op (for an issue that happened because of the procedure, I couldn't have done anything to stop it from happening) even though that was covered in the original price. Close to $2000 later (literally all the money I had, which I would have been fine dishing out, if I was treated like a human being and not someone less worthy of proper care because I am poor and probably won't come back). Also they knew I was trying to get covered by Pacific Blue Cross, which I was guaranteed by the dentist would be able to cut some of the costs ($200 off). Short form: had a root canal removed now left with gaping whole in my mouth, residual pain and stretched out cheek skin

Kelowna Dental was an amazing experience! I was there last week for a cleaning and the hygienist was very personable and kind. She was also extremely gentle and cautious every step of the way. This week I had three fillings done and Chris and Michael were both awesome! Chris made sure that the dental dam did not make me gag and made sure my mouth was frozen correctly. Michael was quick and efficient during the filling process and it felt painless and easy! I would recommend Kelowna Dental to anyone looking for a nice place to get their teeth taken care of. :)

Went in for a root canal, really happy with the visit. That was the most comfortable experience I've had at a dentist. They were careful to make sure everything was frozen before starting (I've been difficult to freeze in the past) and there was no real discomfort throughout.

Kelowna Dental Center is by far the best dental clinic I have ever been to. The ladies at the front desk are absolutely wonderful. They always have cheerful, welcoming smiles to greet everyone with. And they take the time to learn everyone by name. It's that little effort that makes a huge difference. The hygienists are absolutely great! Super thorough too; one caught a cavity for me that could have easily turned into needed a root canal. Dr. Webster is the cherry on top. He goes out of his way to make every trip to the dentist office a good one. He even came in on his day off to remove my wisdom teeth. If you're a student, this is the place to go; Dr. Webster offers discounts to UBCO students with the dental plan. If you're a parent with a young child, this is the place to go; every aspect of the clinic is welcoming and inviting. If you're a person who is nervous about the dentist, this is the place to go; just let them know you're nervous and they will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Well, if you're just a person that needs your teeth cleaned, this is the place to go; they all do a darn good job at keeping your teeth cleaned!

I called in before my boyfriend went in and asked that they give him a quote on how much his checkup would cost him before they did anything. Later on I learn that they didn't follow through with that and they check up and xray came to $270. If we had been informed of this cost before the examination like I was assured we would be, we would have waited and instead, came at another time. I am thoroughly unimpressed and do not suggest this dentist!

STAY AWAY- I went to Dr Abel because I heard many good things and they have so many 5 star reviews. She couldn't take out two teeth for me so I had to see Dr Webster-apparently he is the specially trained Dr who can charge extra for his "special" service- He took the the teeth out, BUT LEFT PART OF ONE MOLAR. When I reached out to them I was made to feel that I was lying and they would be charging me a second time for a more complex surgery. The front line staff is horrible. They are clearly hired for their lack of moral integrity as they overcharge and lie to keep the dentist in good light. Also, beware of the forms they make you fill out. There were several pages of forms for two simple extractions -which seemed like overkill but it keeps them in the clear if things don't go well. I have never had to sign off a consent form for an extraction before and I have had several :( I would NOT go back to this dentist - that claims to be specially trained- yet does shoddy service- and overcharges for it too! YIKES

I have the greatest fear of dentists. I had a problem tooth bothering me for about 3 or 4 weeks. It was completely chipped because I had such a large cavity. I'm a student with no health coverage whatsoever. That combined with my massive fear of the dentist made for a very nervous initial visit. Not going to lie, I may have shed a couple tears. Not out of any pain (as they simply took some pictures and took a look around) but just because I was so terrified. I found out I had three different cavities. I wasn't too surprised as I can't afford to regularly visit the dentist. They provided me with a potential price quote and consulted me openly about my options. They were extremely understanding and did not do any extra work that was not completely necessary since I couldn't afford it. Today was the day I went to get my three fillings. The dentist had prescribed me an oral sedative to take 45 minutes before my appointment in order to ease my nerves. I've read many reviews on oral sedation stating that people didn't even remember their appointment due to to medication. For me that was not the case at all, however I did feel twenty times more relaxed than I normally would. The dental hygienist who did my freezing, was phenomenal. I didn't feel a thing. The needle is usually what terrifies me most and I've had some pretty terrible experiences. During the fillings which lasted about an hour, Dr. Webster froze me again at least one more time. I never felt a thing. He also made sure to explain each process throughout which made me feel much more comfortable. As long as I'm in Kelowna, there is no other dentist I will visit. I would definitely recommend it as the hygienists, Dr. Webster, and the reception staff are all very friendly and beyond accommodating of any phobias you may have.

Overall good experience with regular dental hygiene. However, I was recently quoted over $7000 for a very basic gun graft and was told it would take between 1-1.5 hours. So apparently the dentists time is worth $5000 an hour. It's clear all they care about is money and not patient care. Absolutely disgusting that you charge so much for so little. Too bad you had to buy all these fake 5 star reviews with a tiny chance of receiving a gift card.

I consulted the office for my wisdom teeth extractions - and had an unprofessional interactions with the staff. On the phone, I was informed that dentist follows fee guide but that did not seem to be the case when I received the estimate. The estimate came back with $2500 and I was later offered a discount of $514 to come in early, within the next day which was not possible. It became clear that Dr. Webster charges 25-30% over the BC Fee Guide for this service due to his extensive training and ongoing education despite being a general dentist (often not covered by insurance). I received inconsistent information from Tessa and Dr.Webster and thereby switched to another dental office.

Dr Dahia and her hygienist assistant in particular are extremely gentle and effective with their work. Very nice to see modern cutting edge equipment and technology being used, the 360° head scan and pristine aesthetic in the office leaves a good impression. Also fantastic to see young professionals being employed who have the most current and up to date knowledge. I would have to say I am not the biggest fan of going to the dentist. However after my visit yesterday to Kelowna Dental Centre I can't say that anymore. There is such a great atmosphere from when you walk in the door, feels so friendly and welcoming. My hygienist, Sandy, was so friendly and put me at ease straight away. She explained everything to me , told me step by step what she was doing and why. Dr Webster was fantastic. He answered all my questions and didn't make me feel silly about being nervous. Kelowna Dental Center took me in as a client about a year ago now and I have been so pleased and happy with all the help they have given me. I came to them with quite a large problem with my old root canal which they replaced with an implant due to how infected it was. The surgery went well and they made sure to make aftercare advice and help very available to me so nothing went wrong. The front desk staff are always very helpful, always answer calls, and are very patient when it comes to me switching my appointment times on them so often! All the dental hygienists are also amazing/so kind and make sure I feel comfortable/pain free during cleanings. (I am also super thankful for their help during my surgery for the implant!) Dr. Webster was the dentist who has been helping me along the way and I am very thankful for his quick thinking during surgery to make sure the implant was properly done and I am very thankful for the effort he puts in for caring for his clients! Truly an amazing clinic!

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO HERE! I went in my first year of university to use my school health insurance and they told me I had about 6 fillings that needed to be filled. I got one done and it was an awful experience. The numbing didn't work, I'm fairly sure they were drilling too deep, and the filling came loose a few weeks later. Not only that but my tooth felt fine beforehand, and only began to hurt AFTER the filling. I canceled all the fillings I had lined up and went to another dentist, who said I had NO CAVITIES whatsoever and that I should just continue to floss as usual. Admittedly everyone was really nice who worked there, but I had an extremely bad experience with Kelowna Dental Centre. I would caution anybody who considers going here to get a second opinion from another dentist on anything they tell you, and DO NOT let them swindle you out of your health insurance money!

Kelowna Dental Centre is a fantastic dental office! Everyone there was so lovely and made the whole experience really positive. I was initially really dreading my appointment, but as soon as I was seated they did everything possible to make me feel comfortable. By far the most professional, clean and sanitary dental office I’ve ever been to. Dr. Webster and his team are experts at keeping you comfortable and will discuss treatment options with you before hand. I’ve had a lot of bad experiences with dental work in general but this place is different. I went through several surgeries with Dr. Webster including bone grafts and implants and I was comfortable enough to be cracking jokes with them during the surgeries. Dr. Webster and his team are great with kids as well. I got a call the day before my appointment to ask me if everything is alright and if I can still make it. The day of my appointment I got a text message asking me if I can still make it. At my arrival everyone was very lovely and smiling. The waiting time was very short. The doctor assistant Jenessa, is very lovely and profesional. Let me preface this review by saying, that all my life I have had extreme anxiety regarding dentistry! I think my experiences would have been vastly different if I had have been taken care of by the team at Kelowna Dental Centre from the beginning! Following a friend's recommendation, I had my first appointment yesterday and right from the start I felt the genuine level of care that is exuded by the staff here. My hygienist was wonderful, explaining everything as she went along, taking her time to make sure I felt at ease and to ensure nothing took me by surprise. I felt so relaxed, how is this possible on a visit to the dentist? Onto my X-rays with a different team member and the same experience! Kind, understanding and determined to put me at ease. She was very quick and gentle - I have a small mouth and sometimes those X-ray mouth pieces are painful but that was not my experience at all yesterday. Following X-rays, I was introduced to Dr. Abel who took the time before my exam, to chat with me regarding my anxieties and the reasons behind the negative experiences I have had in the past. She didn't rush even though I'm sure she was very busy! The exam itself was easy with no issues requiring a return visit however, I would have felt very comfortable returning if any treatment was required and trust that I would be given the best care. I can't recommend Kelowna Dental Centre enough! I felt cared for and listened to and most importantly, I have found a dental team for life! Had some sudden onset of severe tooth pain and couldn’t get in to see my dentist. The Kelowna Dental centre got me in within hours of calling. Amazing experience, i arrived at the clinic, in alot of pain ( two cracked and infected teeth) and i was having anxiety about being sedated, but when the young lady explained to me how it worked, and that it was sedation to help me relax, i was good. The procedure ( two extractions and two implants) was completed without any issues. Dr. Webster explained the process to me, and i fell asleep once the sedation began. I cannot say enough positive words about my experiences at Kelowna Dental Centre. The level of quality and care that Dr. Webster and his team exhibit through their work is what sets them apart from every other dentist. At a previous dental group in Kelowna I found that I would be pressured into costly services that were unnecessary and conveniently were not covered by my insurance, despite expressing that this is very important to me (especially as a student). At another location I found that the patient care was lacking immensely, given that a simple procedure such as a cleaning would be extremely painful. In contrast to this, ever since being a patient of Dr. Webster I have felt at ease, comfortable, and confident in the care that I am receiving. During my wisdom teeth extraction the Kelowna Dental Centre team did everything in their power to make sure that my experience was as easy and painless as possible. Dear Owner, my apologies. Though your office does deserve more then the one star rating I am giving you, my ethics do not allow me to give you more then this. Sadly, I am quite put off by the e-mail "enter to win a $1000 visa gift card with your five star review" that I received from your office. I must ask, are you this insecure about the job your staff does that you feel it necessary to bribe your clientele for ratings? You have hundreds of five start ratings, many of which come from people who have only given one Google review. It appears your incentive for five star reviews has worked, but a mindful observer will see clearly how deceitful your high rating actually is. So you know, for the sake of the integrity of the Google Review board and Visa I will be forwarding them both the e-mail you sent me. And finally on a more important note I would mention that on Wednesday morning when I left my denturist appointment I noticed an elder gentleman laid out on the waiting room couch in distress. I sincerely do hope he is okay and that his ailment was not COVID related, but I wonder..., was his temperature taken when he entered the office? I know mine wasn't. Maybe the Interior Health Authority needs to be contacted as well.

Great experience! Had my wisdom teeth removed 2 days ago and they made me feel comfortable and relaxed even before the iv sedation started working. Especially the Dental Assistant (hope that's the right title, and I sadly can't remember her name) knew exactly what to say to calm my nerves! I was terrified! Thankfully I can't remember anything after Dr. Webster inserted the needle until the moment I was at home, no pain at all! So far my recovery has been amazing and I haven't had any real pain just some discomfort in my jaw! Thank you to everyone at kelowna dental center!

Dr. Webster is simply amazing. And my regular dental hygienist is also incredible! She always remembers what we were chatting about at my previous appointments. HOWEVER!!!!! The front staff are atrocious!!! I CANNOT emphasize this enough! When I had my fillings done they told me everything would be covered by my insurance and then when I came out I was slammed with a huge bill because my insurance did not cover white fillings: only silver ones. When my husband had his wisdom teeth removed they quoted us one price and when I arrived to pick him up it was RADICALLY different!! The next time that I went to book a cleaning they told me that I would have to pay for it up front due to missed appointments: but I did not have any appointments booked (thus the call!) She then starts rattling off appointments I had supposedly missed dating back to 2014! I can only assume they have my file crossed with someone else with the same name. So if you want a great dentist, Dr. Webster is fabulous but be prepared for clerical chaos.

This office over charges for their services. I have 100% dental coverage and I still had to pay $268.00. I thought they had made a mistake but when I checked with my dental coverage, they stated that Kelowna Dental Centre rates exceed the recommended rates. I've never had a dentist that didn't use the BC General Practitioner Dental Association fee guide, so I contacted Kelowna Dental to find out what the issue was. When I asked why their fees were so high they informed me that they don't always use the fee guide because their dentists have additional education so they feel they can charge more than other dentists. What a joke!! I had a root canal a few years ago at a different dental office and 100% was covered. The experience was the same at both offices, except it cost me an additional 268.00 at Kelowna Dental Centre. Stay away from this office unless you want to pay a lot more for the same work. Edited to respond to Owners Response - You continue to tell people how you honestly informed me that even though I had 100% coverage, I would have to pay you more based on your education and I agreed and I'll continue to tell my story. I don't think you need to be highly educated to figure out what version is more believable.

My husband told me years ago to come to Dr. Webster, but no, I kept seeing my own dentist, (who I was happy with), but my dental anxiety never went away, so something needed to change! I can't stress enough just how amazingly WONDERFUL Dominica was, from the second she came out to greet me and then throughout my entire appointment! Dominica is kind, empathetic, supportive and encouraging!! She and Dr. Webster took the time to listen to me and my concerns. They didn't talk down to me or over me. I broke my front tooth falling off a bike at 14 years old and had to get a temp cover ( which I did at a different dental office ) 10 years later and I decided to have my front tooth crowned! If you don't want to read the whole review, I'll summarize it as this: if you have no dental insurance, and you have a budget, I would personally recommend looking elsewhere. They also didn't seem in my personal case to be particularly good at diagnosing the source of my mouth pain. However the dentist seemed to do a good job of the actual dental work; both procedures I had done were more-or-less pain-free. My initial toothache that brought me to the dental centre was misdiagnosed as being the fault of one of my wisdom teeth, so I agreed to have two of my wisdom teeth removed, but then during recovery, a new toothache/pain presented, and also the original toothache that brought me to seek treatment in the first place returned. So I returned to get re-diagnosed, and it was discovered that one of my front teeth needed a root canal. They also identified 5 other fillings that should be done in the future. Again, I agreed to have the root canal performed, and though the teeth needing the other 5 fillings feel fine, and the root canal tooth is not in pain, I'm still experiencing toothaches in the same vicinities as before. I completely understand that I need to catch up on a lot of dental work, but it seems there's little regard for reducing my immediate pain, and instead they just want to do everything at once (which is completely unaffordable at this time, based on their cost estimates). It also seems outrageous that the wisdom tooth removal cost $1500 even though it only took an hour, and the root canal cost $875 even though it only took 30 min. $500 of the wisdom tooth removal cost was for sedation, which also in retrospect was probably completely unnecessary based on how 'smoothly' the extraction went. I'm no stranger to pain and I would have rather been uncomfortable for an hour than said goodbye to $500, however, sedation was 'highly' recommended to me, so I trusted their judgement. I understand that sometimes dental procedures do not go smoothly, and thus it can be better to quote on the high side to account for that, but it seems like a rip off to have the dentist comment on how easy the procedure is and then get charged full cost anyway. Add on top of that, besides the 'emergency diagnostic' appointments, which I understand are necessary, there was also a ~$80-120 (I can't remember exactly off the top of my head) appointment where all I did was fill out some forms regarding the wisdom tooth removal and receive a prescription. Taking about 20 min, it seemed again completely unnecessary; I could have filled out the forms on my own time and stopped in for less than 5 minutes to pick up the prescription. I just don't have $80-100 to throw around for what seems like absolutely nothing. Now, there's the audacity to e-mail me a request for a 5-star Google review to enter a chance to win a $1000 Visa Gift card (aka a dentist appointment). By specifying "5-star" in the request for a review, it reeks of a bribe to receive as many 5-star reviews as possible in exchange for a chance to win money. I was originally thinking of leaving a 3-star review, but this push for a positive review has lead me to leave a 2-star review. Edit: In response to the owner, I've spent over $2500 and still have the same occasionally recurring pain in the lower left region, plus the pain in the upper left region every time I eat. I also mentioned during the second diagnostic visit that the lower left toothache was still recurring after recovering from the wisdom tooth removal (when the wisdom tooth was the theorized cause of that pain) So I hope you can understand why I feel the diagnostics are lacking. Why am I paying for a diagnostic visit when the diagnosis is clearly incomplete? Additionally I spoke to a former dentist I used growing up and into early adulthood, and he stated that it normally takes an hour to perform a root canal and then 20 min to perform the filling. I would love to see the cost breakdown for why a 30 min procedure start to finish is $875...

Kelowna Dental Centre is THE place to go for all your dental work! Forget going to a GP and then being referred out for specialist procedures. They have a doctor inhouse for that! And KIDS? They are amazing with them. My 6 year old cannot stop raving about Carla the Tooth Fairy and my little one has seen Dr. Abel multiple times without one issue.
