I had an emergency visit as a new client. They saw me within hours, had a new crown started the next day and the attention given to my concerns was exceptional. I have extremely sensitive teeth/gums but after 2 hours of work on one molar yesterday, I don’t feel any discomfort today. Rare for me! My previous dentist was very good but I’ll be continuing with Dr. Garach.

I enjoy going here because everyone is friendly and down to earth. The staff are supportive and knowledgable. With Covid 19 procedures they are through with their own PPE and have a decent screening process. Each cleaning room is set up with air purifiers and these cool tube ones that assist with catching aerosol particles. As a shift worker I don't feel judged for having to figure out my schedule or having to move appointments around. One time the receptionist even counted out the weeks while I listed my rotations to assist me in booking correctly. Just a really lovely experience. I'm thankful to my friend who had recommended giving this place a try.

I have been using this clinic for over a decade. Dr. Simali Garach took over few years ago and It’s been a great experience ever since. They updated all the equipment and the softwares, and it’s nice to see they brought the clinic to the 21st century. There is a lot of preventative work and advice to reduce any future problems and visits. She’s always on top of what needs to be done now and later. More than anything, she works with the patient for what’s the best way to proceed. The admin staff are punctual and even post visits follow-ups are made extremely easy. I highly recommend them.

I am a new patient to Garach Dentistry and from the first contact I felt like they really cared about my well being. With my busy life I found there use of technology to remind me of appontments very helpful. During my initial consultation with Dr. Simali she really listened to me and offered a variety of solutions and suggestions. I truly feel she had my best interest at heart. She referred me quickly to a specialist in Hamilton and made the appoinmentt herself ( (got me an appointment on the 24th of December at 4:00 PM ) where again I felt like I was in extremely good hands and care. In a few weeks I have had several procedures: a difficult root canal, discussion on bone loss, two caps and molds taken for a mouth guard to help prevent the grinding and wearing of my teeth. My mouth is pain free for the first time that I can remember. I have some concerns now about things pointed out by Dr. Simali that I have faced simply because my previous dentist either didn't know or diagnose. I completely trust her and it is a pleasure actually visiting her office. Best Dental experience I have ever had. Highly, highly recommend! Thank you for your kindnesss, care and everything you do.

My friend referred me to her dentist, Dr. Garach, at Queen King Dental, whom she recommended highly. I was not disappointed. I have since referred my husband, who now also sees Dr. Simali Garach. She has cared for my teeth and gums in a thoughtful and professional manner, along with a team of gentle dental technicians using updated dental instruments, and welcoming and efficient front office staff. Theirs is a meticulously clean practice, with air cleaners in each treatment room. I have been 3-4 times during Covid and have felt quite safe. Booking is easy and efficient. Did I mention the office is located in a beautiful (heritage?) building with free parking and close to public transit, on Queen St.and King St. in Hamilton?

The standards of safety in the practice during this difficult time of Covid are admirable and incredibly reassuring. My whole family have been patients of the Queen Street practice for many years. Today, for the first time in a very long time, I needed some heavy duty work done to replace an old crown. I was quite nervous about the drilling but Dr. Simali was amazing and I felt absolutely no pain during the entire procedure. S Garach Dentistry is nowhere near my home and, frankly, is an inconvenient drive for me- especially in the midst of a workday. But I make the drive because the staff is exceptional. I originally became a patient with the former dentist at the same location- she was known for her kindness with people like me- petrified of dental work of any kind. I stayed on because my hygenist, Karen, is bar none, the best out there...patiently, kindly and non judgmentally cleaning my teeth while keeping a sense of humour. Mary is great...as is Dr. Garach. So I keep on making the inconvenient drive.....and will never stop.

Very disappointed with the changes at this practice. The staff are skilled and it is clean, but in the past year treatment plans have changed from being based on clinical needs to maximizing pay outs from insurance. I have been going to this clinic for 25 years and have finally decided to leave. Most of my family attends the same practice and has had the same experience. We have all been told “your insurance covers XYZ… so we will do all of that”. I have found the billing to be rushed and sloppy and it is always unclear what will need to be paid out of pocket, even when I directly ask.

I am a five-star happy patient at Queen King Dental. My 71 year teeth are a challenge for any dental team, as are my failing hearing, declining mobility, lack of dental insurance, and overall garden-variety fear of dentistry. [After decades of shoddy dental care out West and down East, I was loathe to trust a dentist]. Long story short, I've re-discovered the peace of mind of getting my teeth cleaned every 3 months, of not feeling judged if I ask my new dentist any question, and of visiting this modern clinic in a quaint Heritage House. The dental team is knowledgeable, up-to-date, has flexible hours, and is personable, friendly, upbeat and ethical in all of its interactions. Also, they are COVID-safe in their dental protocols. I may never feel totally at ease in a dental chair, but as a senior, the qualities and attributes at Queen King Dental enable me live more wholesomely. Healthy teeth inside a smiling wreath is something to really treasure at any age!

From the moment you walk in, to the full examination, to the dental assistants, and finally the dentist (S. Garach), you are well taken care of and feel like you aren't a burden to any of them. The dentist took her time to explain things to me and allowed me to ask many questions. The dental hygienist was lovely (Kate, I believe), she answered many questions and was very sweet and easy to talk to. The xrays and the imaging staff were kind and made the process fast and easy. They mentioned estimates and costs beforehand and understood my student dental insurance which was the best experience I have had with claiming my benefits. Overall, great customer service here and would highly recommend friends and family.

It is very clear that this is a vocation for them and not just a means of earning money.
