Battel was given $450 deposit towards services. Became severally ill and hospitalized for 4 months and a year of getting back to my feet. Informed battel of the issue and was told to call when back to full health. As of February 2021 battel will not honour the deposit, claims it for the consultation fee. Their website states free consults. Will not return my $450, or continue with the services I was starting. They claim I had work done but nothing was started.

I'm the client Brian is referring to. I had 2 appointments with Michael, with him pushing on implant supported dentures. All I wanted was a good pair of dentures as I have immediate ones. It stated a free consult where he inspected my mouth fully during it. My next appointment was the moulds, then I got sick and ended up fighting for my life, for over a year. My husband was in contact with Batel and they kept telling him not to worry and to call when I got better. Move forward to last week. I called and was told the $450 I had paid towards my dentures that never got created wasn't to be used towards the continuing of the dentures, and that they will now be a new price, even though I have signed a contract, and have the Email money transfers as evidence. Trish herself is on a recorded phone call telling me my initial consultation was part of the $450, even though it was a free exam. This isn't slander, this is my own personal experience with Michael Batel. I would never recommend this clinic to anyone ever. I have since found an extremely reputable clinic with such high regard for their patients.
