I have mega dental probs tmj too..ive had some bad experiences with dentistry etc...but Dr. Tuli and all his staff are a GOD SEND BLESSING FOR ME...They were all aoo kind caring understanding gentle.....Meena cleaned my teeth and WOW DID THEY COME CLEAN. Dr. Tuli..filled 2 front teeth..did an excellent job..today extracted a bad back molar..that has been hurting for a long time...I never felt a thing...He was excellent and is great a easing my fears worries. Honestly I dont trust anyone..but Dr. Tuli and his staff have abaolutely renewed my faith ...Im not scared anymore..I know Iam in good caring qualified totally professional care. Even the pharmacists below dental office is a kind caring man...he seen i just had a tooth extraction and rushed my script. I sooo wish id called them long ago. I LOVE ALTIMA DENTAL ..I RECCOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE. THANK YOU DR.TULI AND LADIES...YOUR THE BEST. One last thing..without embarrassing myself anymore then i already did...i had a lil mishap and messed up with altima ...and i wouldnt have blamed them had they told me not to comeback...but they were very understanding and i apologized. I appreciate thier understanding. They really are here to help. Im grateful very thankful. So anyone who reads my review if your as afraid as i was to see dentists etc...let me assure you this place Altima dental is wonderful. And Dr. Tuli totally explains everything to you ..he shakes your hand gently and does care. His staff are just lovely and warm. So try it ..you will LOVE IT......aug 9...another appt. Went great as all my appointments have been....I feel sooo much better. No pain no nausea ...bad teeth can really affect your whole health..Iam so grateful for Dr. Tuli..and Chelsea..I really do look forward to my appts now..because i know my health is coming back. I have previous injuries that keep me engaged with the Canadian dental industry. Having lived in various place of the country I think I’m a good judged of dental services. 1. Over a year at Altima and I saw the dentist once! - in other clinics in Alberta or Quebec or New Brunswick the dentist would come by every so often - the one doc in Montreal was the best! 2. They don’t spend money on their rooms - the same plastic carcass of a once hanging TV still remains 3. Technology update needed - except for their water scaler the dental experience reminds me of the same one i had as a kid in the 80s (I got spoiled by dentists that cared about presentation - and btw Quebec dentists in Montreal are taxed more than dentists in Hamilton Ontario - why can they afford to have a fully computerized X-ray system?) 4. Customer care - why can’t the dentist visit their patients ? The only reason I stayed here was the hygienist and now she has left. In fact there’s a few new faces - churn rate at a dental clinic is a bad thing. I’m beginning to wonder if these owners don’t pay their staff as well as competition ..... Anyhow my wife’s experience this past Saturday was also less than stellar. We are now researching a new dental clinic.

Dr. McKenna recently retired, but from an overall satisfaction standpoint, nothing has changed and I remain totally satisfied with the service, care and treatment extended by those currently looking after me at Altima!

I went for a cleaning and Kendra was/is fantastic; no shredding or poking of gums or coming out with my lips feeling all stretched out of shape! Rose in reception was also great - open and super friendly. Most relaxing awesome service, despite covid requirements, I've ever had. None of that weird awkwardness that masks and social-distancing has created! I highly recommend Kendra as a dental hygienist! She's also a super nice person!

Made an appointment to come see them for a broken molar. The Receptionist was very pleasant and cordial. I really don't like dentists or getting teeth worked on but hey had to be done!. Got an X-Ray by two very lovely young ladies! who were very accommodating and made me feel comfortable. Came in the next week and had my procedure done with no issues the Dentist was very very friendly and also made me feel comfortable and reassured me that all was going to be OK. I will definitely go back to get some other stuff I need to get done for sure.

This not an amazing dental office, the secretaries are blunt and pushy and the doctors always seem disinterested. The only saving grace is the hygienists who are friendly and accommodating. Be careful if life happens, miss an appointment and be prepared to pay. The wait times are horrible as well, very rarely get you in on time.

I've recently have had several appointments at Altima Hess Village. I'm even more convinced then last time, if that is even possible, that THIS is THE PLACE to go for dental needs!!!!! The staff is THE best there is. Dr. Tuli is outstanding! He insists on perfection in his work and it was amazing to see him at work. He cares SO much to do the best for you, to explain everything SO well. Once he is happy with his work, you are exceptionally happy. I can't even compare him to any other dentist I've had in my 76 years. (That is a long time.) He is head and shoulders above every other dentist I have ever been to. I'm presenting him with a GOLD MEDAL next time I see him becuase he simply is THE BEST THERE IS! Let me say this loud and clear. Alima Hess Village Dental Centre is without a doubt THE BEST DENTAL FACILITY I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!!! I am 76, have moved a lot, been to several dental offices and THIS one BY FAR the most OUTSTANDING one I'm ever been at. The place is spotless. Every single staff member is smiling and extremely courteous. Procedures are well explained perfectly. You are asked frequently if you have any questions. I was made to feel my issues were their top priority. Even the billing was written up beautifully and explained well. The staff did everything to make sure I was a happy camper. I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER! WHY WOULD I GO ANYWHERE ELSE?

Initially when I first came to this dental office it was a good experience, however that has changed about 4 and half years ago I got done a root canal and and crown put on my tooth which has now failed me and I get that they don’t always last. However the dental office that I go to no suggested that I contact them to see if they will over even the smallest portion that I now have to get this tooth extracted and have an implant put in. My new dental office emailed them my scenario and I later had followed up with a phone call and was put to there manager who has no personal skills when dealing with customers she pretty much made me sound like a idiot for thinking I could receive anything for this and was really rude and I was completely offended she later called me back after she spoke with her higher up and told me I could email her manager which I didn’t bother to do because it truly feels like a waste of time to deal with people who treat you like that. I’m glad I made the switch from this dental office. when your working with the public and customer service the people here need to work on how they treat people. when a person calls after paying 3000 dollars out of pocket at 20 years old I think you would feel the same way to and now being 24 having to put out another 3000 or more to have a tooth put back you should learn to treat people better when they’re trying to explain their frustration.

My experience on October 27th, 2020 with Altima Hess Village Dental Centre was excellent. Dr. Sharma is the best! And the receptionists were most helpful. The Covid-19 precautions made me feel very safe.Paula Oakie is a wonderful hygienist .

In all honesty, with Covid and the lockdown, I was so excited to just get out and speak to someone else I looked forward to my appointment. As always, a good visit. I appreciate all the covid precautions they take there and felt very safe as well.

Complete incompetence! I paid in full for my dental care. The receptionist filed my insurance claim. She informed me that I would be getting back 80%. I waited five business days and then called my insurance, the insurance assured me it was paid and sent to the dentist. I called the dentist to inform them of this error. I called the dental office four times, each time they denied that a mistake was made and that the check is not at the dentist. Finally one person there only after having called her three times, she reluctantly checked the computer. Yes it was there. It had been there for thirty calendar days. Now I have to wait for a cheque from head office. It has been a week already. I cannot imagine that anyone would want to deal with your office. This incident may have began as a mistake but the arrogance and ignorance of your staff is beyond reproach.

The dentist there is soft spoken, easy going and knows what he is doing. He let's me into the room while he is working on my friend's teeth. That is a zero judgment dental practice that he runs. His staff are just as friendly and professional as he is. I highly recommend this place.

The hygienist Mena was gentle and careful yet worked quickly and efficiently, very personable answering all my questions happily. She did a fantastic job and made the dental experience unexpectedly comfortable & enjoyable. 10 out of 10 would go again.

My cousin goes to altima dental in hess village, she says such amazing things about the doctors and staff. They are kind and caring to her and her children, professional and skilled in procedures. I would definitely recommended if you live in the area because I know it can be tricky finding a new dentist. I would go here if I lived in Hamilton, like I said my cousin is quite happy she’s been a patient for years.

I was shocked to learn that Altima Dental r offices are not requiring their patients to be double vaccinated against COVID-19. At Hess Village, they have gone to great lengths to protect staff and patients, ranging from zippered doorways to removing clocks from the wall. Yet patients who are unvaccinated are allowed to attend appointments, which puts my dentist, my hygienist and me at risk. This is a private company that can set its own policies and the fact that it is not mandating vaccines is irresponsible and unacceptable. After 40-plus years as a patient of this practice, I will not be returning.

They don't have a very good overall rating, and none of there positive feedbacks have any likes to support them but the complaints do.. On top of that, they don't accept Ontario Works "at this time" which is an odd thing if you've been calling for months every few weeks and they only do a consultation for Ontario works clients on first visit. If I was wrong, I would have an appointment. Save your reply, it will change nothing. Because you aren't sorry; you're business-people :) Thank you for leaving me with a lump on the roof of my gums that's randomly appeared and been here for a few months causing me pain and discomfort...and all I needed was a consult to know what it is and what it means, so I can have it TREATED by a REAL professional.

I have seen Dr. Tuli at Altima Hess Village Dental Centre. He is knowledgeable, explained everything thoroughly and provided brief action plan on the treatment. Only issue is they don't bill your insurance directly, so you have to pay upfront and get your money reimbursed from your insurance.

I went to the Altima Dental centre in Hamilton in Dec 2015, doctors and stuff are nice and friendly in general, but they tend to give patients incorrect info which leads to unexpected bills in your mailbox. They recommended me to do teeth fillings last time and I told them to send a quote to my insurance company to make sure it is 100% covered since I don't want to pay from my own pocket. They did that, I got the quote from insurance company and brought it to them. I double checked with them telling them that I don't want to pay any money and they told me not to worry and it is 100% covered and made copy of that quote to put into my portfolio. I filled 3 teeth with them and one month later I received a bill from them because now they say it is NOT 100% covered by the insurance company. Well I explicitly double checked with you TWICE before filling my teeth and the answer was yes it is 100% covered. Phoned the front desk lady twice, she refused to admit that it was a mistake made by their stuff and refused to do anything to the cheque. I'm very disappointed at this dental centre because of their lack of sense of responsibility. Please avoid this place if you do not want any unexpected bill from them......
