Southgate Dentistry is an excellent dental practice. Dr. MacPherson and her lovely staff put the needs of their patients first. If you have children, Dr. MacPherson makes them feel at ease in the chair while completing any work that needs to be done. She explains all work in detail, so you are fully aware and understand any treatment that you might need. Her hygienist Lisa, is absolutely amazing and a joy to see for your hygiene appointments.This is an excellent practice in a great community!!! They even have evening appointments for busy families.

Today I went for a cleaning to Southgate Dentistry, and I have to say this was the BEST cleaning I have ever had. Melissa was extremely meticulous at doing her job, she went above and beyond to clean every single crease and corner of my teeth even with my wires in (from past braces). My teeth have never felt so clean before, she didn't overly talk, it was quiet and she focused on her job which is exactly what I want as a hygienist. I will be returning to Melissa for my routine cleanings, and I am actually excited to be back in 6 months, Thank you Southgate Dentistry for having great staff.

Disappointed with there service. My wife had an appointment with them. They told her that the insurance will cover her dental scaling despite her concerns. They knew that it won't cover but they let her paid upfront then told they were sorry as it didn't cover. We felt like they just stole our money. They were rude and unreasonable when we called them back to ask about this. We will never go back there. Folks always make sure call your insurance and get a pre estimate from the dental to make sure that you wont pay from your pocket. Never trust this people.

My first visit was nothing but extraordinary. I got an appointment the day after I sent an email. I hadn't been to the dentist in over a year due to Covid-19 and I knew I'd have cavities. As suspected, during my visit I was informed I had a few. After my cleaning, they performed my fillings on the same visit! It is always a great experience from the time you walk through the door at Southgate Denistry. You are greeted from Debbie with a friendly smile and an upbeat attitude. I recently had a teeth cleaning one week which involved a great conversation and a no rush attitude to make sure the cleaning was done professionally and thoroughly . I then went back the following week to have Dr. MacPherson complete some fillings. Painless and professional is my experience. Each trip has been a success, the appointments are very timely, the front desk staff is friendly and efficient and the clinic itself is beautiful. Dr. MacPherson is very skilled at dealing with small children and the clinic is set up very well to accommodate the little ones! The Dental Assistants are lovely and communicate so well with my daughter. As a result, my daughter loves going to the dentist! Phew! I would recommend this clinic to anyone, young or old.

As someone with a life long experience as dentistry patient, I can say clearly that Dr. Paula MacPherson is one of the best dentists I met. All work done was %100 successful. Also all Southgate Dentistry team is very friendly, yet very professional. Everyone knows what to do and what to say. They knew the answer to every question I asked. I also took my little girl for some work and she was happy throughout all sessions. I recently moved to Nova Scotia and was a bit anxious to if I'd find a good dentist like the one I had back home. I'm very thankful that I found Southgate Dentistry. Additional note: they have an Arabic (and I guess also Mandarin) translation for scripts to help in communicating with non English speaking patients. Look no further.

It was a disaster for seeing this dentist. The doctor seemed neither professional nor patient. Throughout the process, the doctor was very rude to the patient, even when the patient was very uncomfortable the doctor went ahead by herself. The charges are unclear and there are no detailed invoices. There is a suspicion of unreasonable charges.
