My kids and I have been going there for the past eight years, and we have always been happy with everything. Excellent service, staff and dentists are great, and particularly Dr. Moh. He is wonderful, and tries to make everything as painless as possible. He also makes the kids at ease, its been a pleasant experience.

Amazing... 2 visits: waited less then 5 minutes both visits. understood i was visiting from out of the country with no insurance, and financial limitations but treated me as if i was a valued customer for years, got me in the very next day day from my call. didnt pressure me in anyway to change to a more expensive procedure but did make sure to let me know of my options. Dr. Moob- Cant say enough, took his time, didnt do abunch of pulling and jerking, and as a result i dont know if im a freak accident or what, but almost a full 72 hours later on a 1 to 10 scale for pain and discomfort, i dont know that i could even give it a 1. Other than it just being a little tender where my tooth was removed, nothing, i just dont understand how it could be so painless. :) Thank you guys, your a great team.

It was my sons first dentist appointment all the staff were great with him and only did things at his pace he was completely comfortable and actually enjoyed it , they explained everything to him as they were doing it and they were awesome with him. I've been here for quite a bit of dental work at this point and I've never been less than thrilled with my experiences. The front desk staff, dentist, and hygienists are lovely folks and I always enjoy my time there. Hard to believe you can say that about a dental appointment, but they are kind and friendly and make everything as painless as possible. I have also found them very educational and I've learned more about tooth care and dental procedures here than I have at other offices. I highly recommend Gladstone.

I had a lot of work that needed done but mainly there was one tooth that needed fixing. There wasn't any mystery which tooth it was yet I was upsold on the full mouth x-rays. I was told it was necessary to get the "big picture" and was out over $300 thanks to that. I told the dentist that finances were a concern for me as I have had a lot less work since covid started. He told me not to worry and that if I "just talked to the girls in the front" that I'd be able to work out some sort of payment plan for future treatments- in fact he mentioned this more than once. He also told me he would give me his card and that I could call him directly if I needed to, and also that he was going to email me with a treatment plan. Well I never got that card or that email. We agreed that we were going to go slowly due to the cost and just do one filling at a time, going with the most urgent first, and an appointment was made to get the first one filled about 3 weeks later. Well I had to postpone that appointment due to a lack of funds and when the next appointment came around I was still struggling financially but thought I had better at least make an attempt to start on the work. I called the office the day before the treatment to see if I could make some sort of payment arrangement, like perhaps to pay half that day and arrange to pay the rest in a month or so, just as the dentist had urged me to. The girl on the other end seemed very uncomfortable with my request and said she would go ask the dentist personally. That seemed very odd. She came back on the line and said that was not something that they did. Wow! That's definitely not what your dentist told me, more than once. So I asked her how much would my treatment be that day and she told me they had me down for THREE fillings at a cost of $1100! So much for taking it slow guys! I cancelled my appointment as I didn't have an extra $1100 lying around, and I will not be back to that clinic. I wish I could say this kind of greed and mismanagement was the exception but unfortunately Gladstone is just another in a long line of clinics that puts the almighty dollar first and their patients second. Congratulations on swindling a hard working man out of $300 and leaving him in the lurch guys.

On my first visit, I provided all of my prior dental history, I asked questions to ensure that my appointment would go smooth and specifically asked for advice in anticipation of any problems that may arise from transferring dental clinics as I just arrived to Halifax. It was at this time the staff stated that they did not know how different insurance coverage worked. I stated that I have dual coverage up to 100% and I have never paid for treatment in 30 years of seeing dentists and that I do not wish to proceed with any service that would require an out of pocket cost to me. Post appointment, I was given a bill and told I would have to pay because my insurance would not cover an intake exam. I found their staff dismissive when I attempted to ask for advice and their general lack of dental administration knowledge was frustrating to encounter. I was told by the staff that this is my fault and it is not their responsibility to answer my proactive questions related to billing. I do not recommend this clinic to anyone moving to Halifax from abroad as it is my experience that they do not understand how to onboard new clients from other clinics in a seamless and user friendly way. Client experience is not their number one concern.

I've had nothing but good experiences, as far as dentists go. They are always understanding and offer financial options, and Dr Mike is pleasant and affable. Would recommend in a heartbeat. Edit: Dr. Creighan is no loner with the clinic but Dr. Shephard who I'm seeing now is also very nice. Still no complaints.

I have always been afraid of the dentist. A botched filling 6 years ago by another dentists office resulted in my losing part of my tooth recently. Gladstone's Dr Keiser was able to fit me in and fix it with no issues. He and his assistant were calm and very kind. I would definitely recommend them. Thank you for saving my tooth.

Went for an emergency exam after my regular dentist made a mess of a filling replacement and I had a horrible experience, the dentist I saw tried to justify my pain before discovering it was an infection and then still made excuses for it after the fact. The hygienist was rude and did not listen to what I was saying. I would not recommend.

I had a filling fall out of a tooth, so I went in to have it looked at. I told the dentist that I knew the tooth needed a crown (as per my previous dentist). He said it might be ok with just a filling, so he'd take out the old fillings and we could discuss once he had a better look at the tooth, which I said was fine. When I went in for the next appointment, he took out the previous filling and put a new one in without any discussion. At the end of the appointment, he said the filling was 75% of the tooth and likely wouldn't hold, so I should come back the following week for a full checkup and we could make a plan on how to handle it. Why would he put in a filling that he knew wouldn't last? The only possible reason I can think of is that it allowed him to bill me an extra $250. Even more frustrating is that I provided this feedback to the dentist and heard absolutely nothing in return. The staff was nice enough, so I'll give a star for that, but I'd avoid this place unless you enjoy paying for unnecessary dental work.

All reception staff very friendly and polite, but there are quite a number of them and I’ve had a couple of crossed wires about insurance and payment, so just make sure to clarify.

I was always very self conscious of my teeth, and after having bad experiences as a child I have always been reluctant to go to the dentist. However when things got so bad that I had to see someone I'm very glad it was Dr. Dr. Kaiser and his team that I came to see. Besides being an excellent dentist him and his team made me feel welcome and understood the challenges I was facing. There wasn't any shame at all which was a breath of fresh air. I cannot recommend Gladstone Dental enough to anyone in HRM needing a dentist!

I strongly encourage you to find another dental office. We had a terrible experience. We have very good dental insurance and they managed to charge for extras not covered including a disputed service that was never provided. When we refused to pay the extra fee, they passed it to a collection agency. They got their money but lost our business and hopefully other business as well.

I am so glad that I have made a emergency dental appointment with Gladstone Dental Centre. This was the first visit, there would have to be many more, due to neglecting my oral higene. Dr. Kaiser was amazing, he really wants to help his patients. I had confidence in him from my first visit, like I said there would be many more, each visit I would see and feel a real difference in my oral higene. Dr Kaiser Thank you for caring about me and I can not forget about your great Dental Assistant Tatiana, she has been great. I have to have more visits but I am sure that I will be very happy at the end because Dr. Kaiser does know what he is doing and explains why and how. I will tell all of my friends . Esmeralda is a wonderful dental hygienist and Dr.Mo Atwi, the dentist, is very kind and friendly. I have been squeezed in when I had a toothache and they were able to do xrays the same day and help me out. Ended up needing a root canal but they took the "sting" out of the experience.

I found the dentist and hygienist nice and professional. What I did not like was. At the end of my hygien visit I was informed the dentist might want to take a look and to just wait a minute before I left. The dentist came in and looked at my teeth for all of 30 seconds. I wasn't informed that this (30 second dentist wants to see something) was going to be an extra $55 exam or I would have asked not to. I don't find they are good at communicating what the charges are going to be.

I really really really hate the dentist. Some people like it..not me. Today I had Cora provide my cleaning and she did such a fantastic job that for the first time in my life I can say that I didn't hate going to the dentist today. I'm glad I didn't bail and cancel like I normally would because it was a pleasant experience and Cora was super fun to chat with. Side note...your teeth are apparently stronger than bone....baby carrots don't stand a chance. ;)

Best trip to the dentist I've ever had! I was able to book in as a new patient within 4 days for an exam and dental cleaning the next day. When I was getting my exam done they had a cancellation and took me in for dental cleaning right away so I didn't have to come back the next day. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Explained each step thoroughly so I was never left wondering 'what next'. Highly recommend!

Dr. Mo Atwi, did a great job, adjusting my bite plane. I have very sensitive teeth and generally clench my jaw while sleeping. Dr. Atwi took the time needed to carefully and thoroughly adjust my bite plane, wonderfully. He is a very compassionate and understanding dentist. Gladstone Dental has got to be the best clinic I have ever been to. I've had quite a few appointments in the last year and every visit has surpassed my expectations. The wonderful ladies at reception are always happy and greet you with a smile. Email or text appointment reminders are great with my busy schedule and also offer appointments later in the day to accommodate different work schedules. Dr. Mo has been my primary dentist at this location, he is very professional, caring, educational and explains every single process before he is going to do it. His Dental bedside manner is beyond any other dentist I have ever visited. His dental assistant, Esmerelda is always a lovely, very knowledgeable & gentle. I have never been a huge fan of the dentist and wouldn't ever look forward to any appointments, but, Gladstone changed that.

My dentist Dr. Mo is very skilled and efficient . He is friendly and informative making you feel at ease by explaining procedures and having the patience to answer all of your questions. I've had two very poor experiences with the same male dental hygienist. I would not recommend this clinic for this reason. I do not have anything negative to say about the dentists I have seen, but since Quinpool Dental made the switch, 2 out of my 3 recent experiences have been awful. The first, I waited an hour after my scheduled appointment time before being seen by the dentist and then was asked by the hygienist mentioned above to come back at a later date for my cleaning. When I said I would prefer not to he said he guessed he would stay late just for me (as though the late time was my fault) and then was very rough during my cleaning. The next hygienist I saw cleaned my teeth well and I had a fine experience with her. Today, my appointment was on time but again I was asked to come back at a later date to finish my cleaning. I left there with blood smeared on my face and tears in my eyes. That to me does not equate to a typical teeth cleaning experience. I will not be back.

Convenient location and great dentists, but extremely poor management. Office staff have been extremely rude and difficult to get ahold of. The best word I could use to describe this place is outdated. After visiting other dentists in the HRM, I can assure you there are better locations that'll make you feel much more welcome. Again though, great dentists but not a good location for them.
