I went to this place to get some fillings done. He only want to use your insurance. He keeps adding services without considering your request. He cleaned my teeth twice and after 4 months he called me for cleaning again. He did not do any fillings for me since September 2017.

This is a very bad hospital. I just wanted to fix a tooth, but I wasted a month of cleaning the tooth, and then I waited another month to treat the tooth, but only one-third of the work was completed. Then I was asked to wait for the next appointment. Unfortunately, my tooth had a problem during this period. On a Saturday, I was in pain and needed urgent treatment. However, this hospital does not go to work and there is no special emergency channel. , I had to change to another hospital, and the problem was serious, and I was recommended to go to a specialist clinic for treatment, so that I spent more money on this tooth. To sum up, this is a hospital that makes you waste insurance and waste your time. Never come again!

I only saw Dr. Tam for 5 minutes even though I had 3 hygiene appointments within 6 months. When I saw Dr. Tam, he made a very derogatory remark. He asked me where I’m from and when I answered I’m from the Philippines, he said “oh I know a lot of Filipinos, they’re nannies” Not all Filipinos are nannies and why does he have to be a stereotype. It left a bad taste in my mouth. Also, they used all my hygiene coverage within a year and it wasn’t even a good hygiene appointment! No polishing or fluoride treatment!!!! SCAM.

Dr tam is an amazing dentist. He's completed very good work on my teeth. He is very charming and so respectful with the issues I have had. Very willing to assist when issues occur. I highly recommend him to keep your teeth in premium condition. He has very talented experience and always knows exact issues that are present and issues that will come in the near future. I highly trust his work. I you want perfectly healthy teeth he is your doctor that will support you and provide the best experience and keep you as healthy as possible. His staff are very professionl as well. You could not ask for a better experience with one of the most talented and trusted dental practice in the city of Halifax. He is the best!

D. Tam has been my dentist for over 20 years and I have to say, he is amazing. Over the holiday season, my husband split a tooth and was in extreme pain. Danny came to the rescue and came into the office, just for him and provided the relief necessary. Danny, I can’t thank you enough! Best dentist ever!

I strongly recommend Do Not go to this Dentistry, unprofessional Dentist, unreasonable charge, frequent cleaning every 3 month. I stayed with Dr. Daniel start from 2014, I trust him so much. But after he shouted at me last time, I feel so disappointed at him . I don't understand why Saint Mary University recommend his business card to students. Now I go to another dentistry "Bedford South Dentistry" which has 5 Stars, can offer reasonable treatment , the best advanced equipment, and professional attitude. Hopefully this review can help people to find a better dentist. Thanks.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Similarly to the previous reviewer, I was a student who needed a dentist. Dr. Tam made several bizarre and untrue insinuations about my teeth and my history. One ridiculous statement he made was that I "must have grown up in a family that didn't give me immunizations and thats why my teeth had weak enamel". I constantly felt as if he was trying to convince me to get me to buy services that were unnecessary just so he could charge me more. I was convinced to buy a sleeping aid for grinding teeth for people who wake up with headaches even after I told him that I never had such symptoms. And finally he wanted to rip open one of my fillings and suggested I probably would need a root canal!. Thankfully I returned to my old dentist where he said none of that was necessary and all I needed was a desensitizer! Dr. Tam will try and rip you off big time. I never trusted him and regret ever going there. Unless you like throwing your money away, don't go here.

We have family from the Philippines that we love. He simply doesn’t think that way. He came to Canada from Hong Kong as a young child. He and his family suffered from discrimination as he grew up. He knows what it’s like to be treated unfairly because of race. He would never want to do this to anyone. After falling and doing a lot of damage to my teeth and then having no dentist to call, this dentist office was extremely helpful in getting me in as soon as possible! The receptionists were absolutely lovely and answered any questions I asked before my appointment. I am someone who has a lot of anxiety regarding going to the dentist. (My reasoning for not having one). Upon my arrival I was immediately greeted with friendly faces and was quickly registered in. There’s was no wait time and I got in to see Dr. Tam right away. Him and his assistant were both so friendly and helped ease my anxiety right off the bat. They did so much for me and even stayed after hours to finish up so that I could go home without any tooth pain. Dr. Tam is amazing at what he does and worked an absolute miracle on my teeth! I am happy to say that I have found a dentist that I am not scared to go back to! I will be a life long client for sure!!
