I've been going to Stonegate since the moment they opened years ago. I've always been so impressed with their organization and level of professionalism. Anytime I have an issue, they squeeze me in, and I am guaranteed a trusted recommendation of next steps (they are never trying to up-sell on anything). I moved to Kitchener two years ago and switched over all my practitioners (doctor, massage therapist etc) except for Dr. Wat. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else! They are worth the drive in KW rush hour for my appointments.

Without coverage their cost is ~$500 for a first time check up. I am a student and after they initially told me they could charge directly to my insurance they told me my insurance wasnt going through. I told them there was no way I could pay $500 and they let me leave and figure out what was going on. Luckily I got it figured out. They were very kind and didnt harass me about the money I owed. They have very advanced equipment and offered free teeth whitening. 4 stars as the price was much higher than other first time appointments in other cities and for: ***whoever deals with their social media commented personal information (appointment details and where I attend school) under this comment originally and was very upset with a 4 star rating saying they would get into contact with me about the rating. Highly inappropriate***

Dr. Nancy Wat is my favourite dentist. She is very professional, friendly, helpful and informative. She will make you feel relax and comfortable..yes I have dental anxiety. ???? Place is clean and has great ambiance. Dental chairs equipped with a flat screen tv, a decent distraction so you can watch a video during the procedures. They have playroom for kids,my little one enjoyed our visit. You’ll be treated like a family. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Overall, Dr. Nancy Wat and her team are excellent at what they do. Highly recommended!!! ????

I went in to finally get a chip in my tooth repaired and not only were the staff super friendly but Dr. Nancy Wat even decided to help remove some left over cement that was on one of my front teeth from when I had braces years ago that my other dentist never fully removed. They held great conversation and were actively engaged. Also very quick with the procedures and always professional. They also answered all of my questions pertaining to other procedures I was debating with both pros and cons to each choice to help me make an informed decision. Overall amazing experience.

I've been a patient here for a few years now and have recommended Stonegate to many of my friends. Nancy does outstanding dental work. I trust her completely and I've never felt any pain or anxiety in the chair. Vanessa has been really, really great for coming up with payment plans or accommodations for a poor student like myself. The office itself is very nice and clean, and it's great being able to watch TV on the screen hanging from the ceiling to pass the time. I encourage everyone to check them out. It will definitely change your outlook on going to the dentist.

I've had exams and fillings done by Dr. Martins and he is just as kind and good natured as the ladies in the front. I've dealt with a few different dental hygienists and all have been very friendly. I recently had Jason as my hygienist (for the first time). He is simply the best! He makes you feel comfortable right off the bat and is efficient in his work. He might also be the funniest dental hygienist out there. My appointment felt like it was 10 minutes because of his easy going manner. The dude is a legend! Stonegate is definitely a quality dental clinic and has my full approval.

I was looking for a new dentist and Dr. Nancy Wat and her team were recommended. I felt that I was in excellent hands the entire time I was there over the course of 5 weeks. They genuinely cared. By having a root canal specialist on staff and the latest in technology they found areas of concern that other dentists probably would not be able to find and they fixed them promptly and without pain. Dr. Wat is authentic, kind, considerate and explains everything to you; the same goes for the rest of the professional team who helped me. Going to the dentist now is not something I fear. As an international student, I had concerns with payment and insurance coverage, but they put me at ease and make the process so simple: I just show up, open my mouth, then go home with better teeth.

Untrained or scam artists. Received a phone call weeks after an appointment claiming I owe them money. Being a student, I was very careful about my coverage and had confirmed on three occassions that I a) had enough to cover the cost and b) if the procedure was fully covered. To my surprise, weeks after the appointment, in fact I do have to pay. Their hands were tied and couldn't offer me any accommodation for THEIR mistake. They even laughed when I told them that I was a student and couldn't afford what they were asking. I will not be going back and would advise on going elsewhere for dental work. Someplace with integrity and honesty.

Daughter had braces and was invisible she loves it and felt comfortable with them as she has anxiety issue. The amiable staff at Stonegate dental always greet with a smile, and are happy to help you get yours looking its best. They are always knowledgeable and helpful. When you do get into the chair they do everything imaginable to make patients comfortable. Bring a DVD or Blu-Ray and you can watch it on an LCD TV mounted on the ceiling. If you need them to stop for a moment or require more anesthetic, they are obliging. They even have soft blankets available for you if you need one. My regular check ups went from being a chore to a treat when I made this my preferred location for all my dental needs.

Dr. Martins is very professional, accomodating, knowledgeable and overall just a great guy to be around. He really cares for your oral health and always checks in to make sure you're doing OK. My mask dropped from my pocket during my appointment and I didn't even notice until he offered me a new one. Everyone was very kind and attentive, and in no way did I ever feel pushed about anything. They truly work with you every step of the way, and motivated me to do even more for myself, even if it means spending down some of my savings. This is a highly recommended and trusted place for Guelph students too. My only regret is not switching to this location sooner.

Excellent. I've moved many times and lived in different countries, so I've been under multiple dental care providers. Stonegate Dental is excellent. Pam the receptionist is nice and warm, always goes over invoices and she's are great with scheduling. Jason the hygienist was wonderful too. Welcoming and nice and has great conversation. I never thought I could have fun conversations while getting a dental cleaning but hey here's is Jason! He also explains everything he's doing and suggested a few changes on my daily cleaning routine. I've already seen results. He has been just great and I know my gums are well cared for. Dr. Wat has also been awesome. She's incredibly gentle and goes over everything she'll be doing in detail. She has true surgeon hands and getting fillings done with her is a breeze. Also, I haven't felt pushed in any way, which is unfortunately rare TBH. Her assistant has been great too, gentle and caring. My husband has switched to Stonegate Dental after my experience with them, and he's is happy too. He's with Dr. Martin. Their place is clean and the equipment looks very up to date. I'm pregnant and they made sure I was wearing a double lead apron, and made me feel very safe. Also, easy parking situation. To sum up, top notch and 10000% recommended.

A safe environment for patients who may be hesitant about visiting the dentist as COVID restrictions are lifted. During a recent appointment for an emergency procedure, I was very reassured to see the many new safety measures that Dr. Wat and her team have put in place - plexiglass barriers, screening questionnaire, temperature reading, masks and full PPE. Most important, however, is that each area within the office is self-contained - making it safer for patients during procedures and easier to clean and sanitize. I would be remiss if I didn't also mention how pleased I am with the results of my dental procedure. Absolutely flawless work. Dr. Wat and her team are amazing!

This is the best dental office I have been to hands down!! Unlike the other dental offices that I have been to, Stonegate Dental really goes above and beyond in their service. What I really appreciate is that the hygienists and Dr. Wat take the time and explain what they are doing and how it is helping or going to correct any issues you have. On top of that every cleaning I go to they hygienists are friendly, very proficient and knowledgeable. They are always providing me with information and tips that I can actually use to better my oral health. I can not leave out the receptionists. Dr. Wat performed a cleaning on me and it was the first time in 10 years that I did not have shredded gums, nor need to take a pain killer following one!! They are a highly passionate team that show 100% customer care dedication. The facility is immaculate and up to date with technology and methodology. Even the dental chairs have TV's mounted above them on the ceiling, this is the first establishment I have ever seen do this. From the get go, Vanessa has a high level organisation that has always greeted with friendly emails and a warm welcoming smile. I have never had to worry about any paper work for anything, including my insurance. I have had the pleasure of sitting in the chair for Nancy and Emily while they do what they do best and make my teeth looking and feel great, and overall give me a nice smile. I have also seen their hygienist, Heather, and associate wisdom teeth surgeon. The procedures went off without a hitch, concern or even pain. I have to admit the whole team are approachable and personable, and they establish relationships with their customers. This is very important when dealing with patient satisfaction. I have established a high level of rapport with the staff in just a few short visits. I have always walked out of there laughing and smiling. She is extremely compassionate and I felt completely at ease during the procedure. She didn’t overcharge or expect to do unnecessary work. She worked within what she quoted and within her time frame and miraculously she convinced me to do it without the assistance of nitrous oxide or anything else. I went to Dr Nancy Wat as a new patient because I was very unhappy with my past dentist. Because of a bad experience as a child I am petrified of dental procedures. On Wednesday of this week Dr. Wat started the process for crowning five teeth (3 hours). She is amazing. Usually I have pain from the freezing sites. I was surprised that there was literally no pain. I do feel pressure (minor) from the temporary crowns but no pain what so ever. Dr. Wat explains everything she is doing and what you will experience when you leave. She is always concerned with the patient's comfort and is meticulous in what she does. Dr. Wat's assistant and office staff are wonderful. Thankyou so much.

Every experience that I have had at Stonegate Dental has been so incredibly positive. The hygienist and the dentist showed me all of the X-rays of my teeth, and actually took pictures during the filling to show me how it worked, and what was being done. They explained the layers of the teeth, where the cavity was, and what they were doing with the drilling and the entire procedure. From someone with anxiety about the dentist, they did everything to make me comfortable and at ease. They are so gentle and really quick. I would consider myself someone who is generally uncomfortable with dentists, but Dr. Wat makes me feel comfortable and I trust her. The office staff (Vanessa) is warm and friendly. Had a 10/10 experience at this clinic. As a student it can be difficult finding the right clinic to accommodate my needs. Stonegate has been very understanding and helpful. I had a great experience with both the hygienist and student dental assistant. Normally I dread going to the dentist but Dr. Nancy Wat made dental health fun for me and thoroughly explained what was happening with my teeth in a way I would understand. I wanted to get a dentist closer to my residence, so after checking on-line I decided to go to Stonegate Dental. I get anxious and nervous about needing dental work. I had not been for 10 months due to unrelated surgery. I had recently chipped a couple of teeth and did not like my smile, I did not want to let them stay chipped. It was time I gave my teeth some attention. I did not have to wait weeks. Within this week I phoned the Stonegate Dental office, I got ex-rays and a check-up, and a cavity has been filled and my chipped teeth fixed. I am very happy ????, I feel better about my teeth. Dr. Michael Martins fixed all my dental problems. Dr. Martins was pleasant, professional, his technique did not cause discomfort, and he matched filling to teeth color perfectly. My bite feels good, everything is smooth, I cannot tell that one of my front teeth is not a solid full tooth. It looks so natural. Everyone I met from their receptionists, his co-workers/assistants, and Dr. Martins are very friendly and polite. There was no long waits. I had enough time just to spot the children’s area. It looks so cool! Like a “Kid Cave.” There were some children in there today, enjoying it! I am recommending this comfortable dental office. I will be good staying on as their patient and going back to Stonegate Dental and Dr. Martins for dental work, check ups and cleanings in the future.

Dr Martin was great. I've had TMJ for 13 years, but never once did a dentist explain to me how to condition works and why the pain/clicking occurs. The atmosphere could have been more calming, adding some diffusers and fun posters on the walls would help and maybe some rooms that are more private, I don't like people walking by and being able to see everything going on in a room.
