Everyone I interacted with at Norton Dental was helpful, friendly and professional. I was in to see Jason, one of their Hygenists. He is wonderful! His explanations are clear, he is thorough, gentle, friendly and extremely knowledgable. Bonus: Excellent hours! I will be back!

We were long time patients at Norton up until recently. Since the practice changed hands there has been a slow deterioration in service. Multiple Dentists and Assistants coming through so consistency was non existent. My 7 year old son had a terrible experience where there were issues between a Dentist and the Assistant that caused the Assistant to walk out and my son was left with a bunch of devices in his mouth and then was questioned as to why he would be crying. The dentist was rude to me and my son. This Dentist was later fired. I had another Dentist make a comment to the Assistant about how hung over he was just before he started my fillings. When I expressed my dissatisfaction they asked me to try again and I finally talked my son into going only to be made to wait for 50 minutes as they needed to have lunch due to an emergency. While I can understand emergencies, a quick bite to eat is different then a full lunch hour. This for a situation where my son was already anxious about his appointment. We walked out and got a call as to why we left. I have since gone to another dentist and my daughter's two fillings have decay underneath them and they need to be replaced. It remains to be seen if this was due to poor service or not. When our new dentist office asked for files to be sent, they still after two weeks have not done so and I have paid for x rays out of pocket now because of their inefficiency and poor service. I could never recommend this dental clinic. My biggest regret was not leaving sooner and putting my kids thru this negative experience at the dentist.

Just went in to have my teeth cleaned as well as a filling replaced. My experience was amazing. The hygienist was efficient and friendly. I was very impressed with Dr. Kevin Kwong. He's friendly, thorough and explains everything to you in layman terms. The Office Manager, Reshma, greets you with a friendly smile and wants your experience to be a great one and it was. Thank you Norton Dental Guelph. :)

Very slow, awkward and uncomfortable experience. They then ran out of time doing my fiance's cleaning (horrendously slow, as they were training a new person) asked him to come back the next week to finish. They charged him AGAIN for the same service, despite it being the fault of the new girl. Absolutely will not return, disgusted by their level of service and practices. Steer clear people.

I would avoid this place at all costs. I've started going for the last 2 years. There has been a new receptionist, dentist and dental hygienist every time I've visited. They told me my teeth were great, then they learned that I had insurance and all of a sudden i have to come back every 4 months. This place is poorly run, and very sketchy once they find out you have insurance. I don't want to use the team frauds however, once you have insurance they might be doing work to your teeth that don't need to be done. I will no longer go there and will look for another dentist. You have been warned.

Dr Ambrochi was the best dentist, she and the staff were kind, welcoming, competent and organized. Since the practice has switched ownership it has been absolutely horrible. They are so unorganized, there is a new dentist, receptionist and hygienist every time I go .The last straw was when tbey booked us a morning appt only to get there and the placed was locked up .I stood outside (with my 4 children!)for 10 minutes before taking off to zehrs and doing groceries. I came back and they said sorry they were caught in traffic .Unacceptable. If you are coming from Toronto give yourself at least 30 mins extra! And why are the dentsits coming from Toronto?? Get local ones. I have now switched dentists and the new office and I have been after them to send records with no luck yet...do not go to Norton dental!

Yesterday 14/12/2020 I had all 4 of my wisdoms removed by Dr. Amar Taimish. He was really friendly and calming during the procedure and excellent at removing my teeth. I took all 4 my wisdoms out in 45mins. He was professional, fast and effective and super nice. I would definitely recommend him to others. This was the second time I've ever been to the dentist and it was a really good experience despite common horror stories. I'd like to thank Dr. Taimish for really making me feel calm and taking me through the procedure swiftly. Lilia Mohamed...

The dentists and receptionists were all lovely. They made the environment very positive and welcoming. I really enjoyed being there and I highly recommend this place to anyone who goes there. There area is also extremely sanitary. The dentists are also honest and straightforward with you and are not the kind to make you spend money, unless you really need to. They also provide different possible options and always makes sure that you are comfortable. Thank you for your service!

The receptionist was extremly rude. She had attitude and cut me off to put me on hold. When she returned she did not apologize for cutting me off or thank me for being on hold. When I asked a question she replied with extreme attitude that she already told me my answer. Very unprofessional and all before I had stepped into the office. Will not be going here!

Firstly I want to say amazing customer service. As soon as you walk in you are greeted and welcomed with such great care. Very clean dental office especially during Covid. Natasha and Doctor Sara are fantastic, very nice ladies Who put their patients first. Definitely one of the best work I’ve ever got done on my teeth, from the two dentist. Also the receptionist Jenny and Del Are very respectful and kind. I felt great leaving the dentist with such amazing work done to my teeth. Highly recommend as a friend referred to me and I even drove from Toronto. Great team at that office everybody is happy there and Care about their patients! :)

Great service. They deal directly with the insurance company. The receptionist was so sweet and helped me plan all the treatment. Dr. John was amazing I did not feel anything during my appointment. I love the assistant can't remember her name.... But she is the sweetest person!!!!

My family is currently under Dr. Ambrochi's care and we are beyond satisfied with our experience. We have two young children, 5 and 2 and they not only enjoy being at the office, they actually get excited to come for their cleanings! My daughter was in for a routine appointment when Dr. Ambrochi suggested that I see her family doctor about a breathing concern, namely, large tonsils, lagging jaw development and a small airway. She was concerned that my child may have been suffering from sleep apnea and having breathing problems at night (or would soon develop them). After seeing our family doctor multiple times and finally having a sleep apnea study done, it turns out that she was right. My daughter is now scheduled for a tonsillectomy which along with breathing exercises will address and hopefully fix the problem. I am grateful that routine dental care ended up helping us discover and underlying medical condition, which we have now addressed. This has gone far beyond what I would have come to expect in a dental clinic, and is one of the strongest reasons I would recommend this office for you (and/or your family's) care. Oral health is definitely linked to overall health! Thank you to Dr. Ambrochi and the team at West Hills Dentistry :)

My Wife and I have been patients of Norton Dental for Two years now. Our experiences with this Dental office have always been very positive and pleasant. Dr. Taimish, Dr. Michael and staff are always attentive and accommodating to our needs. Needless to say, they do personal follow-ups on the work done; making sure their patients are comfortable and well cared for. Dr. Tamish; don't ever change your style... you have the magic touch! Dr. Michael; I will make an effort not to laugh when you are doing a filling! Jason; the wife keeps telling me her teeth are still squeaking clean! Nora; sorry I keep rescheduling appointments, I will try to change this bad habit :) Thanks guys.

I was recommended here by a friend which thank god I listened to him. Every time I go to a dental clinic I always have a terrible experience... I came here THE RECEPTIONIST OFFERED ME COFFEE AND COOKIES and in my mind I was thinking is this a first class dental clinic???? And surely it looks and feels like it the people are so nice friendly and kind the dentis is very professional and humours me would for sure recommend this place.

I was in Guelph Canada for a personal reason when I had this dental appointment. Dr. John did an excellent job removing a very serious tooth decay. He really took the time in listening to my concerns and made ensure that I completely understood the whole procedure. The entire staff at this office are extremely kind and friendly. Dr. Ambrochi was wonderful. My family had been a client of her for years. Unfortunately, she sold her practice to Norton Dental and moved out west. Norton Dental is a chain from Toronto. Procedures have never cost so much and I have had five different dentists in the last five visits. Every appointment I am reassured it will be the same dentist the next time but it has yet to happen. It's been over a year. My last appt. was to have three fillings. It was the most painful appt. I have ever had and the area is still sore four months later. The dentist that time was young and half my mouth didn't freeze but he proceeded anyway. I have expressed my concerns with this office but since nothing is changing I am moving on to different office. I would NOT recommend Norton dental.

Dr. Ambrochi moved away from Guelph, ON in 2014 due to family matters. As a result office ownership have changed in April 2015 and Dr. Ambrochi is no longer working in Guelph
