Where do I start! My wife and I sat over 40 min no one showed up. Although 3 times my wife had appointment with dr Hussein unfortunately never meet with dr Hussein. Untrained professional fill my wife teeth and get pain worst and worst. Dr Hussein was good doctor before care patients himself but Now he start Business, hiring some inexperience doctor to served you. Be carefull, they carr money now not patients. I don’t recommend anyone to visit. I need to go another doctor to fixed his associates fault. Y

This office has become far more organized. All appointments have been on time and things seem to be running efficiently since 2020. Very friendly dentists. _________ There’s a lot that I love about this office, but over and over again I or my family members are booked in for an appointment, we go across the city to get it done, and either we wait half an hour before getting in or we’re told the work can’t be completed and we need to come back. Missed time from work & school, the fuel, and the pain... it’s extremely annoying to have to come back because the appointment wasn’t booked properly. That’s why I won’t give 5 stars.

Ironwood dental is truly warm place to be.i moved in Guelph recently and I didnt have family dentist yet and unfortunately my tooth filling came out ,not only I got emergency appointment with them on the same day but I also got dr fee waived off as i didn't have insurance. Thanks a ton Dr.Hussein.I must take opportunity to appreciate your staff too,every person was talking to me like I am their family member. Visiting a dentist has never been so warm and welcoming experience. From the 1st visit I felt like I walked into a family living room.

Went to Ironwood with a mouth full of problems, and at first I was hopeful to see the light at the end of the tunnel. That's when they pull the rug out from under you. Dr Hussein only works on patients to give them hope, then hands them over to no talent dentist who are more interested in doing the job fast rather than putting forth the effort to do a quality job. Never getting into my mouth again.

When I first came here I got a great first impression. I felt like I walked into a clinic that’s close to StarTrek level of dentistry. On my last visit Dr. Hussein’s daughter worked diligently to save one of my teeth that had no reason saving. It reached the end of its life a few filling fixes ago. Super slim change on pulling this off but one root canal later, success! She did it. Im impressed, I’m happy, no pain whatsoever. I since moved to Burlington but kept this place as my prime dentist choice. With good reason. Their whole family is the best. ????????????

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Hussein for a number of years. The front office staff are very friendly and acknowledge you as soon as you walk in the door. Dr. Hussein has a fun personality and always makes your visit feel very personal. The office is clean, and inviting too. Dr. Hussein, there isn't words that I can really express on how wonderful his work is and how wonderful his staff are. Dr. Hussein bedside manners is also amazing. He truly treats everyone with such kindness, respect and makes me feel very comfortable when I come in and that's a big deal for me because I have high stress when it comes to my teeth lol. The work he does is with alot of care. I exstremly highly recommend him. There services and fees are fantastic and they are also very thorough with follows and also making sure you are very aware of everything going on. He is exstremly professional but very personable and that makes visits so much more enjoyable and relaxing. Thank you so much for the care you have giving me for my health. I personally will never be going anywere else ever again only to Dr. Hussein, I really dont trust anyone else to do anything with my teeth. It's always a pleasure seeing him and his staff. Always friendly and welcoming. The dentist office isn’t Disney World and everyone knows that; but if you have to go for an emergency or something major or even a quick check up they will always provide a good experience. I personally don’t have coverage and they discounted my visit because of that. It was appreciated. Also Looney Tunes in the office? I forgot I was even at the dentist. I almost ordered in. I saw brochures that have financing plans if that’s something you need it would appear they have them. I haven’t used them so am unsure of the details. But I did see that they have information about them

Dr. Hussein took me on as a patient after I got fed up of the fact that my long term dentist did not follow up on a persistent problem I had reported at multiple checkups. Although that dentist finally took responsibilty for having ignored the issue, he offered me no immediate solution, but promised to follow up. He never did. Dr. Hussein took me on as a patient, identified the problem immediately, suggested different treatment options and provided empathetic care during the whole deal. Needless to say, I'm sticking with him! The office is busy, but service is prompt and the staff is professional and friendly. As for Dr. Hussein, he's not only gentle and knows his business, he's funny!

The worst place for the dental issue, Dr. Hussein is very impatient and always in rush. I was examined and suggested for dental fillings, Dr. Goldzman did my filling who is a visiting dentist with Dr. Hussein-I thin Dr. Hussein only takes the major issue. After 2 days of filling my teeth got more sensitive teeth, pain-actually it was overfilled with uneven surfaces. I went again to see the Dr. Hussein and he did bite adjustment and suggest me to come again after a month. Again the pain and sensitiveness were there , went back again after a month, he gave me 2 minutes and said all good. Then I decided to have another opinion and the other dentist fixed my fillings and removed that annoying uneven surface-all waste of money and time.

This has been my dentist office for over 20 years now. I always have a quick and competent dental hygienist. Dr. Hussein always has time for me, even when it's not teeth related and just to catch up on life. But if it's teeth related and I have a question, he takes his time and shares his knowledge with me so that I understand. I will continue to go here and recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist. **Update** today I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Ali. This is the first time someone else has looked after me in about 25 years. He was great! Very caring and explains things well. (The review below is from January 5/22) Since my last review 3 years ago , there have been some major changes to Ironwood Dental. Because of the pandemic, there is now a strict protocol to follow to ensure the safety of both patient and dental professional. Yesterday I had my scheduled cleaning with a very pleasant and skilled hygienist, and not once did I feel unsafe. In addition, Dr. Mohammed Hussein’s son Ali, is now on the Ironwood Dental team, and I have found him to be just as respectful and competent as his father. Recently, Dr Hussein Sr. sent me to two specialists for procedures at the Westmount Dental Group - Dr Hassanali (periodontist), and Dr. Frieddman (endodontist). I was very pleased with the work that they did, and I highly recommend them. I have been a patient of Dr Hussein Sr. for about 20 years and I am confident that when it comes to my dental health, Ironwood Dental will ensure that I will be well taken care of. (The review below is 3 years old) I have been going to Dr Hussein for about 15 years. He has installed several crowns and a bridge and I have never had any issues with them. I actually look forward to seeing him because he is fast and painless and the work is done before you know it. His jokes are pretty funny too. His hygienists are very skilled and friendly as well. I fully agree with the previous reviewer in that I hope he never retires (even though he works very hard and deserves a long retirement.) He is without a doubt, the best dentist I have ever had and as long as he is working I will continue to go to him even it means travelling long distances. I highly recommend him and his team.

They did two cleanings in one month for me - after long cavity work as well. I had come to them for a specific gun related problem and they didn’t fix that but did all this other stuff instead! I had told them I was only paying through benefits- they waited till after the second cleaning to charge my benefits and then made me pay cash. If they had checked before as my old dentist always did- I could have easily postponed two weeks till my benefits renewed.

Very petty experience... A while back I was experience a tooth pain but kept going in for treatment that never worked and it used up all of my benefits even though i kept going back for the initial service because i was still experiencing pain. I went to another dentist for a second opinion and was told i needed a root canal and was proposed the option right away with explanations. So fast forward to recently i went back as they are the only few who put little ones to sleep but they told me they can not help my son since i left and went to another dentist.

I completed the new patient form prior to my visit and emailed it. I checked the "pregnant or breastfeeding" box. When I was being led through to the X-ray machine I told the girl that I'd checked this box and her reply was "oh it doesn't matter." Yes it does!!!! I can't even be bothered to go into the rest, but it was horrifying.

Dr.Hussein has been my dentist for over ten years. He and the dental hygenists are patient, kind, professional, and answer all my questions and concerns about my teeth and their care. The staff at the front desk are terrific, too. I always look forward to Dr. Hussein's latest "bad joke"...some are actually quite funny.
