My first time going to Generations was a couple years ago for an emergency extraction of one wisdom tooth . I’ve had a molar extracted before, and it wasn’t fun. But at Generations, I felt no pain. When Dr. Stepanko froze my gums, I didn’t feel any pain or pinching from the needle like I’d normally feel at any other dentist I’ve seen. I highly recommend this dentist to anyone who has anxiety about getting dental procedures done. They make you feel relaxed and take the time to make sure you’re comfortable.

I have been to many health professionals in my life and I have yet to meet one like Dr. Lucas Stepanko, with such a genuinely kind and caring attitude towards his patients (and also his dental assistant). I must admit that he “had me” with his warm handshake. Such a simple gesture does mean so much when so often we see that doctors have lost the ability to connect with the human condition. I was just in yesterday for a “dreaded” root canal and my experience could not have been better! Painless! In fact, had it not been for the cramp in my leg, I may have fallen asleep. :) Lucas is very professional and I greatly appreciate that he is informative and takes the time to explain the procedures and answer any questions. Building trust in a new doctor-patient relationship can often not be easy, but Lucas quickly earned my trust and I now have complete confidence in continuing to visit for my dental needs. Knowing Lucas graduated top of his class and has excellent mentorship from Bill is also comforting. :) I have been a patient of Bills “forever” and it is exciting to see the practice transition to the next generation. It couldn’t’ be in better hands Bill! You should be extremely proud!

Grande Prairie is not a "customer driven" place;however, this office really stands out because of how much the staff actually care for their clients ! The people who work there are truly passionate about their business and far exceed any expectations! I was visiting one afternoon and it was a bit chilly, and out comes a hygienist with a blanket for me! And another time , Dr. Lucas, personally called me regarding my issue, I don’t know any Dr who would make time to do that for me, along with the reception ladies who are extremely friendly and persistent in handling insurance claims to get you what you want! I had previously left a different office because of how poorly I was treated (boycott Gp family Dentistry they butchered my mouth and were the most disgusting and rude staff I’ve ever endured)and I am extremely blessed to have found such a fantastic dental office and I would recommend them to anyone who is in search of a dental office where they put your needs first and treat you well regardless of your social graces may be!

I cannot say enough great things about this clinic. I haven't been to a dentist in 12 years, but desperately needed a wisdom tooth removed. Going to Generations was an excellent experience from the moment I called to book my first appointment all the way to the tooth extraction. I felt welcomed and cared about the entire time, and the bedside manner from all the staff was incredible; it's rare to get that kind of service anymore. Even the actual pulling of the tooth was not that bad. Dr Lucas and Kate walked me through the whole process, they did everything to ensure it was quick and painless, and all things considered, it was. I will definitely be making Generations Dental my regular family dental practice and have already started recommending them to friends and peers.

There is a reason they have all five star reviews. I will not ever see another dentist, even my 7 year old “loves” the dentist and what 7 year old loves to go get a filling. But honestly, this entire team is amazing from the time you walk in, your greeted by the amazing Alysha and brought back by one of the lovely dental assistants(I always get Cait because she’s just the best;) and you see dr.Lucas he is the most gentle dentist I’ve ever had I can 100% say he takes his patients feelings very seriously from Adults to kids. He is so patient with my 7 year old and explains everything in such a age appropriate way to make her not fearful she honestly loves going and seeing him. He makes sure your comfortable the whole entire time and keeps checking in to see if your ok. I can’t give them more thumbs up, good job guys!!

Awesome experience! First time I’ve been to the dentist in awhile, now that I got health insurance. Super easy process. Never had a quicker dentist appointment in my entire life. The lady who brought me back was speedy quick and super nice. My old dentist Dr.Ingraham wasn’t in but Dr.Stepanko was super kind in asking how I was as he did my check up. The place was gorgeous as well, recently renovated it seems. Could not stop staring at the view outside of the clouds. Was a bit confusing when I walked in the building but as soon as I went up the stairs it all made sense. I’m had braces for years and this was one of my favourite appointments I’ve ever had about my teeth. Highly recommend!

LOVE everything about Generations Dental! For so many reasons: 1) This is a dentist you can trust. He will not do unnecessary work and your personal input is valued in the treatment plan. 2) Unlike EVERY other dentist I have seen, they do not charge above the government price guidelines. I have never paid more than my insurance plan covers for a cleaning or general check up. 3) My daughter is deathly afraid of needles. After her visit, she said “I don’t think he uses needles- it didn’t hurt at all”. (He’s that good- Lol). 4) Each and every staff member in that clinic genuinely care and go above and beyond. I have a family member that suffers from severe mental illness including psychosis and paranoia- Dr.Lucas and his staff were so accommodating- booking an appointment at the end of their day so that it was a quiet environment for the visit. Even staying late to complete the work in one visit. That level of customer service just doesn’t exist in most places these days. You can’t go wrong choosing Generations Dental- I’m a tough consumer with high expectations, and they exceed them. They have my business- and the business of the many friends and family I have referred there.
