Very nice and professional staff and service, they always make sure you're comfortable during the cleaning. They keep everything pretty clean too and the TV's in the treatment rooms are a big plus to watch while they do the cleaning. Would rate more than 5 stars if I could. :)

If you or your child have dental anxiety this is the place to go. I "had" severe dental anxiety due to my previous dentist having issues freezing me and some poor bite adjustments which caused me a lot of stress/pain when it came to my teeth. I pretty much was at my breaking point with the pain when someone suggested I check out York Dental and boy am I glad I did. I've been going there for about a year or little longer now and my dental anxiety is nothing compared to what it once was. I have seen Dr. Roxborough and Dr. Mihaljevich on many occasions and now I no longer feel anxious walking in the door - the staff, especially the technicians and hygienists are amazing and talk you though everything step by step in English so you know what's going on. I love they don't do any unnecessary work to your teeth or push you towards getting unnecessary services. As for the clinic itself - very clean and modern and lots of parking - please its wheelchair accessible and has a gaming systems for the kids while they wait!

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience at York Dental. I have had multiple appointments with Dr. Patricia Logan (one of the several dentists working at York) and she is excellent. She is very gentle and continually makes sure you are doing well. The staff are also very nice and work hard to make sure your visit is very pleasant. I've never enjoyed going to the dentist, but since going to York I've had very positive experiences.

I just started attending this clinic. I enjoy going to the dentist just as much as anyone else, which is not much. However, that being said the competence and professionalism of this clinic is excellent. While having someone stick their hands in my mouth using sharp metal instruments to drill and scrape my teeth is still not the highlight of my day, at this clinic it is not the low-light of my day either. On my last visit to get my teeth cleaned, I watched CNN news, and even found myself getting a little drowsy. I can honestly say, I've never had that experience in a dental chair before.

I switched to York Dental about 5 years ago and I have never looked back. They are in a nice, clean, new building on Bishop Drive. They are very friendly, appointments start on time, and they have a great appointment reminder service that uses text messages and email. I had a filling yesterday and I was finished in 30 minutes and it was pain free. I have not found a single fault in all of my visits.

I don’t overly like going to the dentist and I had a sore tooth that I was particularly “on edge” about. The girl who did my cleaning/exam was very good and mindful of my tender area. I hate the Dentist. I do. I hate everything about the Dentist. I hate the smell, the worry leading up to the appointment, the pain I mentally associate with the appointment.. pretty much all of it. I have felt this way for almost all of my life. I know it's irrational, I know that for the most part the anxiety I have manifested about the dentist is my own doing, but it's still there nonetheless. And I have reserved myself to having this horrible gnawing feeling every 6 months as an appointment draws near. But then I found York Dental. Well, paint a rainbow across my molars and have the trumpets blast Hallelujah from within my Dentin!!! "Who are these wonderful people and what have you done with the usual cast from 'Marathon Man'??" That's the first thing I thought after I met Dr. Andrew Smyth during my first appointment. Dr. Smyth isn't a sadist!! I recounted to my wife when I arrived home. He actually seems to care about the comfort of his patients. I don't think he is the type of person at all to be on a mailing list from some CIA Guantanamo Bay Dentistry Mailing List. And the rest of his staff is as equally wonderful!! Now my wife, God Bless her, is accustomed to my grandiose, albeit factual take on people. So my conclusions that York Dental was being staffed by the best dentistry professionals around and not aliens from the planet 'Let's jam this sharp jagged piece of metal into your gums just for fun', was something she was already aware of. It's probably why she told me to go there in the first place. It's also probably why we continue to go there years later. It's definitely why we take our 5 year old son to York Dental. There are Two words that sum up the reason my son leaves his appointments with a smile and not in tears blindly clawing at the front door like some feral animal who just escaped a backwater snare while banjos duel in the background. Those two words are: Dr. Amy If you have never had the joyous opportunity to cross paths with Dr Amy, please go back under whatever dismal rock it is you have been living under because your muted life isn't ready for the beam of walking sunshine that Dr. Amy personifies. It may just be a rumour that is whispered throughout the halls of folklore but it is said Mother Theresa once wished she could be as kind and compassionate as Dr. Amy. I think, dear reader, that you might be slowly coming to the conclusion that I am trying so valiantly to achieve. If you have any dentistry needs, none to big or too small, you would be remiss not to call York Dental. Terrified of Dentists? Don't be. Call York Dental Have a wee one and you're worried his or her experience will turn them off Dentists for life? Don't worry. Call York Dental Have you ever been selected to represent any month of the year in the Calendar version of "The Big Book of British Smiles" .. well, you have a lot of work to do, and your first step is calling York Dental. So, stop reading this. Pick up the phone and talk to Shauna or Krista (both of whom, rumour has it, are in the running for Nobel Peace Prizes* for having to put up with patients like me.. ) and set up your first appointment today!! York Dental is unlike any other Dentist establishment you will fine. State of the art, mixed with the comforts of home. It's as if You mixed Blade Runner with your living room. But then replaced the murderous robots with Dr Smyth and his non murderous staff and switched your favourite chair with one that lies flat. Oh ya, and then bolted your tv to the ceiling so you can keep up with your shows while at the same time. Give them a call today. *Any reference to The Nobel Prize was used using President Trumps "alternative facts" filter.

Easily the best dental clinic I have ever used. The staff are friendly and efficient and completely focused on customer comfort and satisfaction. Service is provided with up to date methods and treatment is always fully explained. Appointments are normally available within a reasonable time frame so you don't have to wait weeks for service. A really nice feature is that York Dental manges the schedule carefully and they are almost always on time. It is really nice to get friendly on time service.

On vacation - driving down from Ontario to St John, had an infection and in pain, I called most of dental offices from Edmundston to Oromocto from the car. No one wanted to take emergency patient in the afternoon/evening. except York Dental. They called me back in my car, talked to my dentist in Ontario in the mean time, admitted me when I drove into Fredericton few hours later and patched me good enough so I did not waste my vacation. They are rated 5 star. I will give them 6 star, that extra one at the expense of most of the ones I called for nothing.

Our toddlers had their first dentist appointment yesterday at York Dental and we had such a positive experience. The office staff are warm and inviting. Taking kids, especially kids under 3, to the dentist is such a daunting task but Dr. Andrej Boban & Kelcie made our visit a breeze. They were both very good with our children! Dr. Boban addressed all our concerns and was very charismatic and easy to talk to. I would recommend this clinic to anyone but especially for kids! Knowing that the office was going to close, on the advice of my hygienist ( I believe), York Dental staff looked at my situation (infection, dead tooth). These fine people made the extra effort to give me a complete root canal when they could have closed the office. My appointment for this procedure was not scheduled. I was the last patient of the day they had to close due to COVID. The Dentist's procedure went exceptionally well (I.e, no pain !) and - not knowing when they would open again, the Dentist and his assistant completed what is normally two separate procedures into one procedure to fix me up. That's what you call Health 'Care'. Sincerely.

I've contacted York Dental because I had my tooth hurting and I needed emergency care, they gave me appointment in 18 days and told me they will put me on cancellation list in case they have earlier option for me. After more than week of waiting and suffering I called different clinic and they got me in next day. Probably York Dental have a great doctors and doing a wonderful job but if you need emergency care look for a different clinic!

I have had many teeth procedures before but no dental office compares to the care I received with York Dental. I got all 4 wisdom teeth removed and I was hesitate because I was awake. But the staff made me feel so comfortable and relaxed letting me wait for my oral sedation on a chair with a massage setting along with a blanket. When it was time for the procedure the staff were so nice and professional. I experienced absolutely no pain since the doctor was very thorough and experienced. If I ever need more work done I will definitely be going to York Dental, I wish I could give them more stars!

When one has the teeth problem, he/she can’t eat with enjoyment, nor talk clearly, not even smile properly. It might be too late to realize that teeth are sooo important. Fortunately, I have Dr. Mignacca and his assistant Krista for my denture. They are very carefully, spend long time to do my denture work. Then soft reline. Before long, I feel I can talk freely and practice eating. They are patient, and with lots of experience. Whomever you meet in the clinic they are all very nice. If you have dental question/problem/plan, I strongly recommend this clinic.

Great staff! I am terrified of the dentist and it is hard not to be embarrassed about it. The staff at York Dental reassured me through early procedures where I was given nitrous. After a couple years in their care, I am so confident in their service and skill that I don't even need the nitrous anymore. Even if I did, I get absolutely no judgement from them. Excellent! My daughter had a cavity that she would not get filled as she was terrified! Dr. Barton managed to get the filling done, with ease, after about 5 attempts with other dentists. Service was great all the way through.
