Avoid this place if you're a student. I was looking for a dentist and booked my cleaning with this office because of the high ratings. I asked about direct billing on the UNB student insurance, they said they accept it and it covers 100% of the cleaning. After my cleaning they charged me $80 out of pocket because I made the mistake of consenting to the fluoride treatment. That's on me, but then I get a voicemail a few days later saying they couldn't process my insurance. I called back and left a message with the exact policy and account number given to me by the UNB GSA plan (details that work everywhere else and usually it's enough to just show them your student card number). They left another voicemail asking for same same info again, I double checked and gave them the same info again. Then a voicemail where they're claiming I have an overdue account by $250 and they're sending it to collections... For a cleaning that was covered by UNB's student insurance. I gave up on them and went to a different dentist using the exact same policy and account information; no charges, direct billed my insurance fine, zero issues. There are plenty of better options in the city for students, save yourself a headache.

This is what McMillan Dentistry did to my daughter. This occurred when they tried to remove the bite plate from her mouth repeatedly. They sent her home with this bite plate telling her that she may need to be fitted for another. They KNEW it was probably defective. They are ignoring us and are refusing to reimburse us. There's no way my daughter wants to return to them to be assaulted again. It's been over a week and she is still in pain. We paid $520 for their assault and to not receive what we paid for (a bite plate that she could use). They are thieves.

Went to this dentist a few years ago when I was a student and did not have a positive experience. They provided me with misinformation and said I had a very large number of required dental work. I ended up going to a different dentist who was appalled by their recommendations, and even reviewed the images they did and said this was false and that the work they were telling me I needed was completely unnecessary. I would suggest avoiding this place.

The staff at McMillan Dentistry and very open and friendly. Let's face it, the 'dentist' is not a place most people want to go. At McMillan they put you at ease. I have been seen by all three siblings and have had great attention and service from them all. My daughter is very timid of the dentist, but even she doesn't mind going now. Jen, her regular hygienist, whom she visits once a month, is fantastic with her. We have found them to be professional, caring and outgoing from the receptionists to the most senior dentist. It is a family run practice with a family feel that extends to their patients.

My family has been with this place for 2 years for teeth cleaning and captivity filling, we recently had some bad experience with it. My spouse had infection after a filling and she had to take antibiotics for quite sometime, my recently filling is not a good experience either, i don’t have any problem with my teeth before, but after this filling, my teeth is super sensitive and uncomfortable, I have no idea if they drill the hole too deep and damaged teeth nerve. Another thing I am not happy about this place, they don’t have fixed doctors for their patients, every visit I got a new doctor whom I have no idea about his experience. They are also inject very heavy anesthesia, last time it took me literally 5 hours to recover, and as I recall, it will generally take us 4-5 hours to recover from anesthesia, and they don’t ask your opinion before they do that.

I recently took my toddler to his first checkup/cleaning here at McMillan dentistry, I also go to McMillan for my own dentistry needs but the reason I chose here was because of the reviews! The atmosphere is very relaxing and inviting, it’s like being at home. The hygienist/dental assistant Tory was literally more than what I could ask for. Words cannot do her professionalism and kind demeanour justice. My son tends to be shy when he is first introduced to people but Tory was so kind and friendly he opened right up to her. To say she is great with children is an understatement, I highly recommend her for anyone! She is very knowledgeable and caring and really made the visit fun for my child!! Jeff was the dentist that came in afterwards and though I don’t have much experience in seeing him he was also very great with my son. Overall the entire staff is second to none, if you’re new to the city and having trouble deciding which dentist best suits you, McMillan dentistry will not disappoint!
