I will give Gibson street dental office 5 stars because of Thier service. I was getting the run around with my dental office in St Stephen, Valley Run Dental, when my child, 6 yrs old, needed a baby tooth extraction after her adult tooth grew in. My dental office sent me first to the Mckenzie dental office in St John, who were all wonderful ladies. They took x rays and examination with no consultation fee. They had told me it was an easy, straight out extraction and my personal dental office could do it. With several attempts and messages, I finally got a new appt. Three hours before that appt, Valley Run called to cancel the appt and directed me to Gibson Street in Fredericton. The drive took 1.5 hours, longer than the trip to mckenzie's. The appt at Gibson street was primarily for the consultation with a fee. I explained the run around in had had with Valley Run, which they have heard before from numerous clients sent up from St Stephen. Dr Renya not only performed the extraction, gave my daughter a gift for being so brave and a tooth holding device shaped like a tooth, she did not charge me the consultation fee because of all the run around I've done. Not only do I give them 5 stars but two thumbs up. If the drive wasn't so far, I would definitely make them my number 1. Thank you again, you are all Wonderful!!

I used to recommend this place to many of my friends, community members until today I will no longer support this dentistry here is why. I had been a client for nearly my entire adult life - once covid hit and everything was ordered to shut down - including dental appointments - I unknowingly accumulated missed appointment fees! Regardless of the province being shut down my appointments were still held accountable and a fee of what was originally 25$ for missed appointments had jumped to 50$ .. I had 3 appointments booked during province shut down that were missed due to COVID - was not contacted by the dentist administration about any upcoming or missed appointments during the level red we were first under. However, knowing times were hard financially and I had the extra cash at the time, I paid these outrages accumulated fees - including my brothers - whose fees were only 25$ for each missed appointment and mine were 50$ -- regardless I still paid it - we needed the dental work - After I paid the outrages fees, I finally get in to get my chipped tooth looked - was told I couldn't get in till February to get the work done, this was October - so I said okay and waited - January comes I cant wait any longer I contact the dental office to see if I can be put on a cancellation list - but I was notified I couldn't because I had another Fee of 50$ !!! for a checkup appointment I didn't know I had! My fault? perhaps? I tell the administrator I cannot afford this at this time but I really need the work done on this tooth - was still told no - it has to be paid before they will see me. OKAY - I'll wait till I can afford that fee - BUT this pain from a chipped front tooth is driving my insane - so knowing my dental coverage plan, I reach out to another dentist to see if they can help me with this tooth - they said immediately, they just needed my dental file, which Gibson Dental HAS. I agreed to the release of my file but for a week I kept getting the run around with this new dentist - I call this morning to find out the issue -- Gibson wont release my dental files until 50$ fee is paid - so in order for me to get the work done that will take away this agonizing pain - they chose to keep my files hostage to what only feels like an attempt to restrict me from getting my much needed dental work, all for a 50$ missed appointment fee - For an Dental office to do this to their clients who have a only supported their business throughout their life has beyond disappointed me, that they would rather keep me in pain due to financially restrictions than to not only do the dental work but to not release my files to help me out within the field of work they are suppose to help people in. I am truly disappointed with this organization and I will make sure I let everyone know.

Amazing staff! Our 11year old was terrified to have her two baby eye teeth pulled. She had already been to one dentist and it was unsuccessful. They went above and beyond here! I live 1.5 hrs away and it was well worth the trip!

They are amazing when it comes to children. Above and beyond. My kid had terrible experiences at another dentist in town and now that he has been to Gibson he is no longer scared of the dentist. I now understand why the wait to get in is so long. Well worth the wait.

I just moved here had the same dentist for 20 yrs. I am sooo glad i chose this clinic! Super great staff out of their way to give me a last min cxld spot earlier in day so id be well for work later that night. Also the BEST smooth filing i have ever had. Youd have no idea i have one! Thanks guys for putting patient first

Highly recommend this office to anyone who has children. One of my girls has had some tough dental appointments in the past and Gibson dental has kicked all her fears away. They were able to make her feel comfortable and get her dental work done without any worries. She actually says she wants to stay at this dentist forever and can't wait to go back again, which is huge for her. They're amazing!
