Dr. Patel and the staff are awesome. Very easy to get appointment in short time and entire facility very clean. Dr. Patel is very knowledgeable and always give an honest advice for my kids about orthodontist. One very important thing is this is the only dentist or one of in few in town who follows dental prices guideline for your insurance coverage. In the past, I had to pay from my pocket to other dentist even I had 100% coverage but not anymore with Dr. Patel. Highly recommended if you are looking for best in service and price.

I really like they send reminders via email and text message when your appointment date and time is, your able to respond with a number. When you arrive in the parking lot you type here. When there ready for you to come in, they will message you to do so and wait in the waiting room. The receptionist is very out going and easy to approach with a friendly and warm personality. My appointment was on time. My cleaning was amazing and the hygienist was very thorough and friendly. Dr. Patel is outstanding with her mannerism, greats you with a smile, very gentle, always asks how are things and if I have any concerns. She checks everything out in my mouth very thoroughly. She even asked me about my Mom of an event that happen to her 2 years ago. She asks how my family is doing every time. She is very easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable and patient!! I would highly recommend her to everyone!! My grandson is very comfortable and relaxed when he sees Dr. Patel. She speaks to him with simple words that he will understands. I no longer have to fight with him to go see the dentist for his checkups, cleanings. He actually now takes an interest in cleaning his own teeth. He gets excited now when he has no cavities. Now that’s a real plus for Grandma! If there was a 10 star I would give it to them hands down!! ????

I've been to many different dentists over the years. Dr. Rita is, in my opinion, the best. She is gentle and takes her time to explain everything to you as well as works with you to create a dental plan that work for you. Dr. Patel is awesome. I'm usually terrified of the dentist because everything there hurts- from the cold water and air, to being frozen, to not being frozen enough and feeling pain during the work. I usually require so much freezing that my jaw is sore for days from all the injections. Dr. Patel was able to freeze me without hurting me, use less freezing than normal to accomplish the work, and while she was fixing my cavities, addressed some discolouration and pitting I had on a couple of teeth that are part of my smile and that were ruining the whole thing. So now I look better, too! I would recommend Dr. Patel and The Dentists at Thickwood to anyone- and especially to someone who fears the dentist.

Poor customer service...receptionists would never call you back and stick to their commitments. They will book you in for an appointment and then later on say that it was cancelled without any notice to the patient. With COVID my appointment was canceled I tried several times to convince her to do my implant but she said it’s better if you do it in Edmonton with the specialist which if she wanted that’s $6G but she’s not out to get your money that’s why I gave her ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was told from a previous dentist I would have to get bridge work down first before I can start my orthodontic treatments but I seen Dr.Patel for a consult and I ended up not needing to have bridgework done. I have sensitive teeth issues so the hygienists are also great when it comes to teeth cleaning and being gentle. Very caring staff. Appointments are on time. Cleanliness is at a very high standard. This dentist office also completes a dental claim pre-estimate with my insurance provider prior to conducting procedures which explains the amount paid by the plan and my out of pocket expenses. I have had nothing but negative experiences going to dentists my entire life but after seeing an advertisement for The Dentists, I felt like giving them a try. I have never left a dentists office with a big smile on my face nor feeling happy and uplifted but somehow, The Dentists managed to do just that. The staff is genuinely caring and friendly and they make you feel welcome. The hygienist was exceptional and thorough and very knowledgeable. She made me feel comfortable and talked me through the entire proceedings, explaining every step as we moved along. The dentist was also very friendly, non judgmental and knowledgeable. They didn't make me feel like I was sitting in a car dealership trying to sell me the most expensive car in the lot which I really appreciated but gave me clear and concise information. I would recommend this dental clinic to anyone in a heartbeat!

Dr. Patel is always so friendly and aware of the patient's sensitivities. The atmosphere is wonderfully comfortable. It's a treat to go there even though it's a dental appointment.
