I was a little worried at first because he was on the quiet side but before I knew it he was joking around with me, putting me at ease and he finished my fillings without me even realizing it was all over. I was actually falling asleep somewhat due to how relaxed I was and couldn’t feel any discomfort whatsoever. If you’re looking for a Ðentist with gentle hands, mysterious yet effective, ask for Dr. Ahmed!

Worst place ever to go. Needs to be avoided at any cost. They are just minting money not just of your insurance but your out of pocket too. They'll do x-rays and other things when there is no need and won't check if it covered or not. Won't notify you before charging anything for your out of pocket. I went to the clinic for cleaning and I was asked to do 3 x rays. I have never had any issues with my teeth and am very careful about how I take care of my teeth. After the cleaning I was told I have 7 cavities which I wanted to see for myself. I was given a mirror and when I questioned I was told the cavities were in between the teeth. I asked for a copy of my x X rays which wasn’t given to me. The moment they know u have insurance they rip you off. And they create more problems than do the actual job you come in for. The lady who cleaned my teeth was really patient. However the doctor was a total crook. Never going there again and would not recommend anyone to.

I have never seen such dirty and unhygienic dental clinic in my life. The front desk is staffed by multiple people and it is always unorganized and chaotic. I was told that i needed filling in one of my back teeth. One of the many dentist took care of it but i started having pain in that tooth. They redid it and didnt work. This tooth was completely fine before. Three fillings and many x-rays later they could not figure it out. By this time my insurance was almost maxed out. I went to another dentist who checked and saw that i had a crack on the back side of the tooth. He actually put a camera in my mouth and showed it to me. I had to get a root canal and a crown because the two dentist here damaged my tooth. At the same time, i was taking my daughter here because the dental hygienist was really nice to kids. They told me she needed 3 fillings and an extraction and needed anesthesia for the procedure. This whole treatment was a nightmare. The guy who gave her anesthesia looked like he had drug issues and looked high. If i had met him before they took her in the appointment room alone i would have bolted out. My two cents....your teeth or your kids teeth deserve better.

Hassan El-Awour - The most UNPROFESSIONAL dentist I have encountered in all my life...A total embarrassment to the profession of dentistry. He will literally get in your face and yell at you, proceed to make ignorant, totally uncalled for comments that do not relate to his job. He is amazing at belittling people, including his staff! I also heard him try to correct someone’s english once. He is an ignorant, cocky, and cannot draw the line between personal and professional. I guess they dont teach mannerism at dentistry school. He will speak to you in a manner that will make you feel totally uncomfotable, embarrassed, and as if you are not paying for his horrible service. My experience at this office has been a TOTAL NIGHTMARE, waste of well earned money, and time. I do not wish this experience I had on anyone else. ***P.s. take into consideration how all their reviews are either one star or five stars, which I believe are fake and manipulated by the office to decieve future customers

Very professional dr was a female young lady that took care of my husband's emergency root canal prep he was in alot of pain he got in as an emergency and opened during holidays. The front desk however I won't comment. Main concern was his pain, his tooth infection being treated.

I couldn’t recommend this dental office more highly. I was seen after midnight on a Friday as an emergency and despite the time of night, everyone from the reception, dental assistant and dentist were welcoming, kind, thorough and professional. The dental assistant thoroughly cleaned the room before I entered it and was reassuring and friendly. Dr Fatima was the dentist that treated me. She was knowledgable, skilled and her calm nature put me at ease and made me feel very safe in her care. She was very gentle doing the treatment too and didn't feel rushed. I would strongly recommend this dental office for emergency care and after my experience i will be moving over to this office for my regular dental care too.

Have been going there for 2 yrs, initially for cleaning. 4 months ago went to get 4 cavities taken care off. Long story short, I ended up going to my home country (Colombia) got the job redone not even for a third of the price in lesser time and also was less painful . Will not go back for sure.

My son was scheduled for a procedure that required being under general anesthesia. This required fasting for 8 hours. This is for a child 4 years old . Firstly , the office kept calling me abruptly to move by appointment up over night. This happened 5 times, apparently forgetting that my child have to fast ( apparently). Secondly, when we showed up to our scheduled appointment, was told because he was fasting for 7 hours and not 8 hours, they cannot wait 1 hour for him to complete the 8 hours and we have to pay a 200.00 penalty fee. Thirdly, we were again rescheduled and the procedure was completed , my son was (as told by the doctor ) Dr. Gavin that he will be awake in 1 hour. As the time passed by , I keep telling my husband something is wrong because it's 2 hours plus and I am hearing my son screaming loudly. I asked the front desk that is always too busy gossiping and ignoring the client most of the time, "Is my son screaming" ? , she looked at and said, no one is screaming you are hearing things. I kept telling my husband , Something is wrong, our son should be awake by now. So as the time close to 3 hours after the procedure and my son still haven't woken up as yet. The doctor kept saying he is resting comfortably. I ask to speak to the doctor and he walked up the same time. HE TOLD ME MY SON IS NOT WAKING UP FROM THE PROCEDURE AND WE NEED TO WAKE HIM . PLEASE COME AND TRY TO WAKE YOUR SON!!! I WAS SHOCKED , BECAUSE I WAS TOLD MY SON WAS RESTING COMFORTABLY. WHEN THE DOCTOR TOOK MY HUSBAND AND I TO THE ROOM MY SON WAS SCREAMING UNCONSCIOUSLY . JUST UNRESPONSIVE AND LAYING LIFELESS . JUST SCREAMING AND THE DOCTOR KEPT TELLING US . WE NEED TO WAKE HIM NOW. WAKE HIM NOW. MY HUSBAND AND TRIED AND HE WAS JUST LIFELESS UNRESPONSIVE . THIS WAS SO TRAUMATIC AND UNPROFESSIONAL FOR THE PARENTS TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH. I BROKE DOWN BECAUSE NOTHING WAS WORKING AND BEG THE DOCTOR TO LET ME TAKE MY SON TO THE HOSPITAL OR CALL AN AMBULANCE. HE KEPT SAYING THIS IS NORMAL. SO I ASKED HIM TO CHECK THE TIME BECAUSE ITS NORMAL FOR THE WAIT OF 1 HOUR NOT 3 HOURS!!! HE ASKED ME TO CALM DOWN I TOLD HIM IF HE COULD HAVE WAKED MY SON WHY DID HE CALL THE PARENTS TO DO IT ? HE WAS UPSET AND SAID I QUESTIONED HIS ABILITIES AS A DOCTOR. I TOLD HIM I WAS GOING TO CALL THE POLICE OR AMBULANCE IF HE CANNOT WAKE MY SON RIGHT NOW. THIS WAS CLOSE TO 3 HOURS AFTERWARDS. The doctor went and tried many things to wake him and it was not working . He asked the other doctor to check the time and vitals again. Then he kept saying ... do what we have to to wake him up now. They were pinching , slapping and poking my son to wake up and open his eyes... i was crying and horrified at what was happening. I started to pray to ... please do not let my son die... Then the doctor used cold ice and put in on my son body and he moved after a while of trying ... for the first time in hours ... he actually make a movement. This went on for a while before he opened his eyes... Then thanking the lord above... he slowly open his eyes... So , please be careful where we take our children to get the care they need. I was hurried out of the office by the doctor and staff . The customer service was not all kind and thoughtful as I expected. The doctor who worked on my son showed no signs of compassion and or understanding what my family was going through at that time. I intend on seeking legal advice for what happened. No parents should have to be called in to wake a lifeless unconscious baby from a surgery the way we had to with no COMPASSION FROM THE DOCTOR AND STAFF!!! THE ONLY KIND PERSON WAS THE FEMALE WHO ASSISTED THE DOCTOR. CAN SOMEONE IN AUTHORITY AT THIS DENTAL OFFICE LOOK INTO THE WHAT TOOK PLACE AND WHY WAS MY FAMILY PUT INTO THIS SITUATION. THANK YOU!!!

I was scared but by the time he calm me down i was k.o waking up no pain.. i will return because he saw i needed them out but couldnt do the procedure. Dr. El-Awour is very sincere and patient-centred. He helped my Syrian newcomer friend transform her dental health - she had a lot of decay and was in pain constantly and didn't have the funds to cover big procedures. He was honest with us about short-term and long-term solutions, and took a fraction of the cost (we looked around!!) at very long-term payment intervals in a way that was workable for us. With her procedures and in my own wisdom teeth surgery, he executed flawlessly and explained things to us in ways that were respectful and kind. He takes his time with you - which can make him run late, but when you see him, you get the best care. Front desk staff has been rocky, but is improving greatly. Also, Reshma is a stellar hygienist - very knowledgable and pleasant. Highly recommend!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I had an appointment made for 6pm, and I’m a huge hockey fanatic, so I wanted to get my appointment done with so I could go home and watch the Leafs game. The dental hygienist pulls me aside a little before 6 and tells me that my appointment is actually at 7 and that I would have to leave and come back. I stated that my appointment was at 6 and was told that they have a patient coming in 10 minutes and they would have to take that patient first and that I could leave and come back. I replied again with my appointment was made for 6, and I will leave, but I’m not coming back. Had they said something like “We’re running behind and your appointment will be a little later”, I would’ve understood, but to tell me that my appointment was made for 7 when I specifically agreed to 6pm on the phone was an insult. I will not be returning ever and will be looking for a new dentist. I recommend that no one else go to them either because this is only one small example of how unprofessional they are.

My honest review is that though the office was very busy and a little chaotic, the staff were amazing. I had some issues with my coverage and they were so patient in helping me figure things out. I had a bit of a breakdown from stress and anxiety that day but the doctor made me feel at ease. Best dental office in the GTA. Been coming here for over a decade and their services only keep getting better. The staff is amazing and extremely helpful. My only complaint would be the wait times and lack of seatings. It’s rare that I get in on time. I’m usually waiting in the hallway, on my feet, for about an hour, along with other patients. Ofc things happen, but perhaps sending texts to update the next patient of when the hygienist is ready to see them would help with that. Besides that, you can just tell Dr. Hassan pours his heart and soul into his offices. Especially this branch in particular. I’m always recommending this dental office to everyone I know.

I did full cleaning of my teeth and the end result was so amazing everyone I met afterwords thought I did one of those expensive treatments however it was only normal cleaning treatment. First I need to say there is a wonderful dental hygienist called Olenda. The front desk are really friendly. Dentists are Ok. But 2 of my filings done here fell and had to be redone. However, there is a very disrespectful hygienist called MARIAM. She was not the person doing my cleaning, just met me in the corridor. She started to attack me instantaneously in an extremely RUDE WAY!!!! I believe people can say whatever they wanna say as long as they are being respectful. There is no excuse for being disrespectful. I asked for an apology, but she failed to come to apologize.

Complete shock and utter disgust with my experience with this office. I showed up for a referral and nobody even knew who I was or why I was there, the receptionist was extremely rude and treated me as if I was beneath her and was stupid. She was not able to provide any information to me after my wisdom teeth consultation when further inquiring for the surgery estimates and codes to inquire with my insurance company to see if I was covered like Hassan had advised. Only a basic extraction code was provided, when I was advised I needed a Coronectomy which is a completely different code along with anaesthesia as I was advised I’d need to be put out for the surgery. Ended up going to a different surgeon 3 and a half weeks later where they provided everything to me before leaving the office including submitting the estimate to my insurance for which response was provided instantly as to how much they would cover(all codes I had asked for weeks ago listed) without the need for the CBCT scan first. Extremely frustrating how simple this should have all been to be provided and not knowing the financial burden as a single mom was very stressful. After being treated so poorly by the receptionist and the lack of professionalism showed by that office, I would have absolute no trust to allow them to do any sort of surgery on me.

After an X-ray revealed one of my wisdom teeth was causing the pain, Dr. Hassan was able to see me that same night to extract it. He was beyond quick and skillful and removed the tooth before I even realized he had pulled it! My overall experience was great. I would recommend this place to anyone and will be happily coming back. His prices were also very reasonable and honest. I’m shocked to see so many negative reviews for such an amazing office, but to each their own I guess!

I went to the clinic for cleaning and I was asked to do 5 xrays. I have never had any issues with my teeth and am very careful about how I take care of my teeth. After the cleaning I was told I have 7 cavities which I wanted to see for myself. I was given a mirror and when I questioned I was told the cavities were in between the teeth. I asked for a copy of my xrays which wasn’t given to me. The moment they know u have insurance they rip you off. And they create more problems than do the actual job you come in for. The lady who cleaned my teeth was really patient. However the doctor was a total crook. Never going there again and would not recommend anyone to.

I have a horrible experience with them for my child's braces. I caught them over charging my credit card once. I contacted them and they reversed it. Fine. I thought it was a mistake. I wonder how many other people did not notice such a mistake! However, later they tricked my child and wife into booking an appointment for cleaning outside of the agreed upon braces plan which was all paid out according to a schedule. You know quietly "nickel and dime"? That is what they do. I will never trust them again for any dental service. I would not recommend any of my friends or anyone for that matter to go there unless you do not have about your hard earned money. I would give them Minus One Star but that option is not available hence one star without which I cannot post this comment. Please take this one star as a big MINUS -10!

Had worst extraction took nearly over 2 hours-wonder if theses doctors and hygienists are professional or on training here They booked me and my wife for cleaning which turned out very painful for both of us and now both of us have been suffering with very sensitive teethes which I have never had and now i have problem drinking cold water and eating food and same with my wife bleeding gums and hard time eating - this is now over 2 weeks and we are still suffering - my wife has been complaining for feeling loose teethes now and more pain. They booked me for 2nd cleaning following week, the receptionist called and said my wife was also booked yet the hygienist had told my wife her next cleaning was in April! When i told the receptionist that we will cancel the appointments for now due to pain and sensitivity, she became rude and upset and hung up the phone. When i checked my insurance for the charges i could not believe what has been charged for my wife also like polishing etc which when i asked my wife she said they didn't do that and the hygienist hurt her a lot even though my wife was screaming in pain she continued hurting her more Horrible experience

I have done couple of teeth with this (Hassan Alawe clinic) and the only reason I stopped going to them because one day I take my daughter to them, when they did the x-rays for her teeth they told me she need to fix 9 teeth and they have to put her under sleep. I didn’t like to but my daughter under sleep so I went to another clinic to do it without sleeping with the same x-ray from (Hassan Alawe clinic). I shocked when the doctor told me after when he check the x-ray that just 3 teeth need to fix so that’s why I put this reviews because I believe it’s not a mistake from 9 to 3 there is something really wrong with those guys and I did five teeth with them I don’t know how many they don’t need but they did it for me

By far the worst dental visit ever experienced. Front staff and dental staff are very unprofessional. The make you wait for over an hour. I had to leave afterwards. And the funniest part was that they never bother to proceed with a follow up call to ascertain why I stood and left obviously very unhappy. Who does that? Best place to get wisdom tooth extracted in Mississauga, I had an impacted tooth and while I was visiting my friend in Mississauga this got worsened. Thanks to Dr Hassan's staff who quickly booked an appointment and got it extracted. Quite a busy clinic, but I was lucky to get an appointment. I also saw they are open on Sundays. Usually the Dental clinics are closed on Sundays that's what I had known before. I highly recommend this clinic.

I had an infected tooth that needed to come out along with a neighboring tooth that was broken down to the gum line. The first dentist I went to (locally) worked for an hour on the infected tooth and only manged to get 1 of 3 roots out with some pain involved. He then suggested going to an oral surgeon. I immediately drove 1 hour to Dr. Hassan's clinic where they happily fit me in to take care of my issue. Dr. Hassan froze the area (which had by now unfrozen) and within 5 minutes had the remaining 2 roots out along with the broken tooth. 5 roots in 5 minutes and no pain at all. I was flabbergasted! I will definitely be going back to Dr. Hassan for more extractions that I require. The cost was also pleasantly surprising as it was about 1/2 of what I had expected. I will be telling everyone I know to visit Dr. Hassan's clinic as for me it was the best dental experience I have ever had. Thank you Dr. Hassan and staff for your kindness and professionalism.

TLDR: DO NOT GO HERE. I just learned from my new dentist that they gave me 2 root canals I most likely didn’t even need. When I told then my experiences here with the staff they we baffled. My bit is uneven due to access shaving (and I’m not the only person review them and experience this), my teeth are tender while chewing etc. I’m so upset. The told me I have many cavities and my new dentist says I only have 3. This is a huge money grab. Please save yourself the stress and anxiety - I wish I did.

I came in for an appointment to remove 4 wisdom teeth. I have extremely bad anxiety especially when it comes to the dentist so getting them all out at once was a must for me. While i was getting set up for my procedure he came in and tells me he’s doing 2 and refused to do them all at once. He also did not wait until I was properly sedated as I still felt pain when he pulled my two teeth out of my head. Then when I had to come back because he gave me a non insurance covered prescription for pain, I asked for a specific prescription and he pretty much called me a junkie and I do not regularly take narcotics. Very rude and offensive. Seems like he’s just in it for the money. The hygienists and nurses are very nice though.

I was in heavy pain since morning and was searching for any open clinic due to long weekend. To my luck, I got this clinic open and they fixed up my appointment at 7.45 pm. The customer service representative Ms. Sahar helped me a lot by coming down to take me upstairs and assisted me upon leaving the clinic. Dr. Hiba extracted my teeth with painless procedure. I was not doing well since morning due to pain and I was afraid of the procedure. But the way she handled the entire procedure, it relived me of my stress and calm down my pulse rate. They made an extensive treatment plan that worked around my work insurance budget, and gave me very fair pricing when insurance ran out. The work has been stellar and I couldn't be happier. I've recommended friends, and my wife now comes here. The staff are great. They call ahead to remind me of appointments and fully take care of getting my insurance reimbursements. I'll keep coming to this dentist for as long as I live in Mississauga. Only problem is that they are so busy, sometimes there isn't any place to sit :) but that's a small price to pay for amazing and reliable dental service.

A bunch of crooks, last night I called to make an appointment for the my wife, my self and my two kids for general cleaning. I asked for the price she said for adults its $150 each and kids $90 each. I was asked if I had insurance and I said yes, I have repeated the price again and the receptionist confirmed. Comes today, I go to my 10 am appointment, after I am done I am slapped with a $400 bill, and the receptionist says the person who took the appointment made a mistake and in any case the claim went through. The office itself is very clean and there is always smiling faces as soon as you walk in. Normally, I am very nervous of going to dentist , I’ve had bad prior experiences at a different clinic that I used to go to but since the first time coming here i knew I would be staying here and I no longer feel that fear. The Hygenist I go to every time is Mariam she does a gentle and thorough job at cleaning my teeth and she’s very nice to talk to when I’m there. What I like most is that they are very honest about their work, they want you to do what’s best and what’s best for your pocket too! I’m now looking into braces with Dr. D and Brian there :)

This is the worst dental office where there is no importance of patient'd health and the staff is very non professional. We waited for our daughter's appointment for surgery for the last 5 months and on surgery day in the morning when I called them they told me that they have given my time to someone else as I didn't pick up my phone a day before for reminder. I took the day off and my 6 year old school was missed as well as she was fasting also per surgery guidelines for the last night. Very non professional and rude people. Never go there. I will definitely complaint against them to ministry too to see if they can check them as there must be some checks on this how these people are wasting people's time and health. We have been waiting for the last 5 months for this and day of surgery it has been cancelled. So pathetic people and staff.worst experience. Don't take your kids there

Front desk is very unprofessional and aggressive. The secretary was not following COVID guidelines, she didn't have a mask on and was not social-distancing. I got yelled at in the face by one of the girls after I asked her not to raise her voice at me. Staff has a victim mindset, instead of trying to find resolutions to problems, they tell their patients to "shut up". If you don't want to be crammed with other patients in a narrow corridor for a long period period of time for 30mins-1hr post appointment then do yourself a favour and don't go here.

There was nothing wrong with my teeth just shallow cavities but I didn’t have any pain or anything. I went to this clinic to get my teeth checked and a female dentist saw me and said that I have more then one shallow cavity and one bigger cavity but I wasn’t having any pain. She said it was better to get fillings so we did and that’s around 8 months ago and until now I am suffering from the teeth that she filled I’m not a dentist to say what was the mistake but she ruined my whole bite my teeth hurt until now and are so uncomfortable. I can’t chew properly and I really regret that I went there.

If I could I wouldn't add not even 1 stars . I booked an appointment for my daughter as urgent and it was the first time I go there . Since the moment I entered the clinic receptionist wasn't professional at all the way of over reacting and lawed laughing like she's not in clinic maybe as others places. My daughter was like what is going there? Even my husband felt uncomfortable...we couldn't stay more than 5 minutes and we left. Few days later a friend of mine had the same bad experience.

The dental office cannot handle cases of children who are afraid of the needle dispite the website stating they work well with children what they failed to mention is only if the child is easy... Nothing beyond behaviors of an adult. They also do NOT listen to parents concerns or input with regards to your understanding of your own child... Placing the child in undue stress not to mention the parents too. Not good once again. Now referral to a child specialist... To complete the same job, putting your child once again in distress ???? far to many people working at the reception area. At least 5 women are in this area at any given time, whenever an appointment is made, some sort or wrong information in put into the computer, your appointment time is not right or they are not able to get things right with your insurance company not on one or two or three occassion but habitually problems coming out of this place. The receptionists never know what each other put into the computer, the file is not updated ever, they dont give you any written information like a bill in regards to work needed or any written quote or anything what so ever...why? the information put are always wrong and when asking for a copy of what they are saying is worng, is in the computer, so happens there is nothing written in the computer for them to give you, even when they are telling you it is in the computer showing this "wrong" information.. very concerning...how can they tell you there are issues with your insurance once you get to your appointment, confirm your appointment the day before and when you get their, issues as always with one thing or another???? BUT on the same day you get the confirmation appointment, they say at your appointment the insurance has issues??? AND you know for a fact your insurance is correct, got one of the mulitude of receptionist to call your insurance company in fornt of you, fill out all froms and tell you, you are covered for dental just to trun around a week later say there are issues again. The list is even longer..in the short time I have delt with them. On another note..why is this places review only from individuals of same race, culture regligion??? it could be all family, friends etc writing these reviews...an objective point of view from others is greatly needed. OVER ALL...There is something wrong with this place. dont bother going and save yourself the trouble.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY! CASH GRAB! They just want your money and will tell you they have to take your tooth out as the resolution. The doctor will continue to push you to take their service. The pain your in does not matter to him. I can’t believe the experience I had. I am still in shock. They do not treat you as a human and think you are stupid enough to say yes to all the ridiculous non sense they want to do with your teeth (root canal, extraction). This all being said before they have even taken a through look at the initial issue. On top of which the Doctor wasn’t even the one who was going to do the assessments. It was some random employee. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!! You will end up with a procedure you may have never had to do!!!!!!!!

Complete upset after my today's visit to Dr. Hasan clinic at central Parkway. The dentist was nice, receptionist ok. I called-in 35 minutes after my appointment. The doctor could not determine which tooth that need to be fixed, x-ray, and several tries with cold swipes did not help. I was sent home to do my own check ups, once i figure out the source of the pain, then i can call back for a new appointment. Even from the beginning I told the dr where is the pain, and what tooth i need to fix. Basically, i spent less than 15 minutes with the dentists, x-ray done for a couple of teeth. When i checked out I was surprised that the receptionist asked me to sign a request to the insurance company to pay significant amount of money ($178). When i questioned that, she started telling me that they charged me for the dr's time (less than 15 min), and so on. I agree to charge me for the dr's time, but that amount was significant and greedy. Literally, i did not benefit from my visit there. I did not fix any tooth, and exhausted my insurance for nothing.

I went as an emergency on Sunday evening with pain from a tooth that needed it a root canal and a wisdom tooth the stuff took me in and one of the dentist did my root canal and charged me less then my regular dentist charges me.
