HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! After years of great treatment from Dr. Yuen and staff, I recently had my first few opportunities with the new practice. They have definitely invested well in new equipment. Everything is state-of-the-art, latest low radiation xray, fantastic digital photography, instruments and more. I had two fillings required and was so comfortable I asked and allowed to completely opt out of freezing (so I wouldn't spend the rest of the day with a numb mouth and face.) Even with no freezing, there was absolutely no discomfort and zero pain. Plus I got on with the rest of my day unhindered. Of course the latest equipment and a pristine office (which they also have) would be nothing without cheerful, talented staff that genuinely care about their patients. Treatment was quick but not rushed, appointment started punctually at time booked (morning) and never were any of my questions deferred or deflected. Would have no problem recommending this dental office to anyone who cares about their dental health and hygiene.

Growing up, I'd always been nervous about going to the dentist. After more than, embarrassingly, a decade of no dental visits I had a dental emergency that required a visit. I remember my first phone call to Alderwood Family Dentistry being beyond pleasant and they had taken care of me immediately that day, even had me in within hours of communicating some dental pain after my first visit for an emergency root canal. I had constant communication via phone and email over my few months having work done checking on me, my progress, etc. I genuinely felt like part of the family. During that time I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Asena, Rahiel, and my hygienist Kavita. I was always self conscience about the gap between my two front teeth and Dr.Asena spent HOURS making sure those four little teeth looked perfect, no matter how long it took her. I LOVE my smile and even cried when she was finished, NO MORE GAP! They always made me feel beyond comfortable and made my visits feel personal and inviting. Every single person you interact with in this office is the definition of home and caring. Since my first visit I've been trying to switch all my family and friends to Alderwood Family Dentistry. Thank-you all, so much for your continued, genuine care and love for what you do and for your patients. Please don't change!

This is a dental clinic that does care. They set the standard for highest quality work and professionalism. I have been attending for about two years. I have received Invisalign braces, gums management and regular cleanings. Dr. Stefani and the entire team are great and strongly recommended. I did have to wait a while but it was worth it. Asena is such a kind and sensitive dentist to my fear of dentistry. She handled it in a lighthearted approach which works well for me. She is very knowledgable and also offered multiple solutions for taking care of my dental health with limited funds. The entire staff are also very professional. I'm making Alderwood my new dentist since moving to the area. And I have to say, so far, they were way better than the dentist I've seen since I was a kid.

Love Alderwood Family Dentistry. I used to go when it was Dr. Yuen (had been with him for 37 years). I drive from Burlington so it was easy to find a new dentist in Burlington when Dr. Yuen retired, but decided to give it a try. It is a comfortable relaxed atmosphere. Dr. Stefani is very gentle. Christine is wonderful and also very gentle. Happy to see that Laura, whom I have known for 37 years is still here as is Rahiel, who is a wonderful assistant - very gentle and a great sense of humour. Love the new equipment, especially for xrays!

Great dentist and staff! They are always kind and wonderful when accommodating for insurance and financial concerns. Laura at the front desk is particularly lovely, and is always very kind and happy to answer questions or concerns. I recently had to leave this dentist for somewhere next to my apartment during the COVID situation, as I’ve had some health issues that are not public transit friendly :( I do hope to return though! The reviews speak for themselves.

Today was a great day for me , I when for a root canal , I was very nervous and anxious, but the moment I talked to Dr. Asena and her assistant Clau, my nervousness when away ,I can not believe, I didn't need anything to calm me down, they did actually make me laugh and, I felt at home , the way the talked to each other and work amazingly together make Me felt at ease. They explained the process little by little and always make sure I was comfortable . I truly recommend this Dental clinic, take it from someone who suffered an anxiety disorder. It was great ! (Translated) I was taking a walk with the family and my oldest daughter started to feel uncomfortable in the mouth. As we do not speak English we seek the appointment of a local who went in Portuguese. The hotel receptionist researched and found this clinic and said they spoke Portuguese there. Upon arrival we were met by a very friendly staff and Dr. Jonas came to our rescue and spoke perfect Portuguese. We were very well attended and my daughter left without pain and was able to enjoy the rest of the city tour with tranquility. (Original) Estava passeando com a família e minha filha mais velha começou a sentir incômodo na boca. Como a gente não fala inglês procuramos a indicação de algum local que atendia em português. O recpcionista do hotel pesquisou e achou essa clínica e disse que lá falavam português. Ao chegar fomos atendidos por uma equipe muito simpática e o doutor Jonas veio logo em nosso socorro e falava um portugues perfeito. As a luck would have it, I got call from clinic stating they are ready to do it today by the one and only Dr. Kevin . The Young energetic , very talented guy and her assistant the lady from Eritrea ( sorry I forget her name) Within very short time they extracted my Wisdom Teeth without any pain. Thanks for the whole team . I highly recommend to visit the clinic if u guys have any dental issues. They gave me 10 % discount too.

Found this dentist while looking for somewhere that could accommodate a family member with Autism. They were so amazing that my entire family has switched to this clinic. "Worth the drive!" As a loyal patient of Dr.Yuen even after moving two hours away, 13 years ago, I was so happy I could finally go to a local dentist once he retired... Save all that time, gas... Laura says, "Just try them out..." What? Noooooooooooo! I did. Dr Stefani and Dr Alexandra are truly amazing. If I could pick one thing out of the many that they excel at, it's the confidence and positive attitude. Our smile really is our most important feature. I cannot find enough good things to say about this small, friendly dental clinic. My own dentist, Dr Jonas Stefani, is absolutely wonderful. A really first class dentist, and an exceptionally kind, caring, human being. I have been extremely nervous about going to the dentist , since childhood, and he, and his staff, have completely eliminated that fear.....would never have believed that could be possible.! The entire staff are friendly, kind, and professional, and there is such a pleasant, calm atmosphere throughout the whole clinic. I would never have believed the day would come when I could say that I actually look forward to going to the dentist, but these days, I can honestly say I DO !

If you have insurance or coverage through your employer they do ALL the work for you to make sure you’re getting covered to best ability. Wish I found them a long time ago. Dr. Jonas Steffani and his amazing team are just wonderful! I was recently here when my nearly 2 yr old daughter had a bad fall off our couch and injured her front teeth. I came across this dental office online after an ER doctor told us to find a dentist. Well, am I ever grateful I found this place. As soon as I called (literally minutes before closing) Dr.Steffani was able to speak to me and book me in asap for the following day. From the lovely receptionist Laura, to Dr.Steffani's assistant, all of them showed a great level of concern and care for my dear daughter. I can't thank you enough Dr.Jonas for the help and reassurance you gave me for a scary situation. I will definitely be bringing my son here. There's a reason this office has 5 stars! I don't really post reviews publicly but my experience here couldn't make me not leave one. It has been numerous times since I came to Alderwood and the treatment never changed and only felt more like home with each visit. I still get the same top level work done, patience, caring and lovable team that I first met. Laura and the receptionists team have been very nice and always kept me up to date throughout the process. Dr. Jonas have taken care of me so much, was very smooth with difficult dentistry work, so understanding and always genuinely wanted what was the best for me. He tried his very best and went up and down to see me whenever it was critical too. This is the only dentistry where I never dreaded going to and was excited instead, lol. Thank you for the experiences and this is going to be my only dentistry that I will visit for a very very long time. If you live in the Toronto/Peel , I seriously can't recommend a better team.
