Haven't ever been to any other dental clinic for a reason. First I get greeted by name by their friendly receptionist, wait just a couple minutes, get my teeth cleaned by the hygienist, then I meet with either Dr. Bergh or Dr. Wehbe, both of which are a delight to deal with. In and out within two hours. Great work.

Amazing Clinic! Very clean environment and friendly staff. I came here for check up and cleaning. Dr. Laatsch is really caring and professional. He found a problem of my teeth through x-ray that none of my previous dentists ever noticed. He did some further tests and explained everything clearly. The dental assistant, hygienist and receptionist are so warm and friendly. Amazing place!!

When I first moved to Edmonton I was really worried about finding a new dentist but after my first visit at the clinic I knew I was in the hands of a professional team. Dr. Laatsch is extremely professional and really good at handling patients that are a bit nervous when it comes to longer procedures. He takes the time to talk you through every step of the way, patient if you need a break and the nurses as well are so very kind, gentle and always help with anything you need or any extra questions you might have, particularly Tetyana and Jaclyn. Every single person that works there has been incredibly kind and helpful upon any visit I had with them and I actually look forward to coming to the clinic for those reasons. I have been going there for over a year now. I would highly recommend anyone to come to this clinic. If your are looking for an impeccable clinic with an absolutely amazing staff this is the place to come to!

I have been going to Dr. Wehbe for the last 5 years and he is the best dentist I've ever had. It doesn't matter if I move across the country, I will always keep him as my dentist. I am extremely afraid of any type of procedure at the dentist's office and I have been like that since a young age. Before I started seeing him I always had to take laughing gas or medications to keep me calm during procedures. Dr. Wehbe is really good at handling nervous patients and he take the time to talk you through every step of the procedure and he gives you extra time for pain relief to kick in. I am still nervous getting my teeth done today, but I don't need any medications anymore and I am way more relaxed. Another plus is that the clinic has built-in massage chairs in their treatment rooms and TVs to keep you focused on other things. If you are looking for an awesome dentist all around who is also really good with nervous patients, PLEASE go and see Dr. Wehbe.

I've been coming to Strathcona Dental Clinic for a long time. I would highly recommend anyone to come to this clinic. If your are looking for great clinic and absolutely amazing staff this is the clinic to come to! I have seen both Dr Laatsch and Dr Wehbe, they are very caring, gentle, and professional. And both truly care about their patients and their dental care. I wouldn't be going anywhere else but here! It's always great to catch up with the staff! They feel like family to me!

I went to a dentist where my experience was more than terrible then somehow I got to know about Starthcona dental clinic. I was booked instantly, the lady I spoke with was very polite and caring. I saw Dr. Wehbe, and he was no less than a God to me. He explained everything really well and fixed my teeth, and I am writing this review after 45 days and I'm completely fine so far with the work he done. If you're an International Student then I'll highly prefer this place as I've already tried several other places where their only aim is to take money out of your insurance. I’ve been seeing Dr. Wehbe for a few years now and I have been nothing but impressed. I had a filling redone a few years ago and for some reason it left me with some pain... Dr. Wehbe made it easy for me to come back and have it adjusted and didn’t charge me. He’s thorough and always makes me feel like I’m in good hands. The receptionists and hygienists are the kindest people... I genuinely always leave the office with a smile on my face because the customer service is really unbelievable. I really think there must be an excellent work culture in this office, because everyone seems genuinely happy to be there. They’re warm and welcoming and make the whole experience super positive. I don’t like going to the dentist (I mean, who does?!) but this is the closest to liking the dentist that I think you can get!

He did a big mistake that caused pain in my lower jaw after that he blamed the assistant for that terrible job???which is obviously unacceptable and really bad attitude. Didn’t listen to the all my questions and tried to rush. The atmosphere at the clinic is uncomfortable, and they are pricey.

I was petrified to have the tooth fixed, but I was in and out in under half an hour (totally pain free appointment). I've had some pretty upsetting experiences in the past at dentist offices. When I moved to Edmonton, I was referred to Dr. Wehbe, saying he would alleviate any fears I might have. Sceptical, I went for my first cleaning a couple of years ago at his office. I couldn't have been more pleased. Since then I have had my bi-yearly cleanings and a couple of fillings done (2 this morning, in fact) as well as a crown put back in after having it fall out (presumably due to carelessness by another non-local dentist several years ago). Dr. Wehbe is caring and considerate and his assistant Kristin and he work so well together to make your dental work as painless and quick as possible. Additionally, his dental admin Claire remembers me every time I visit. I no longer worry about my cleanings or any other dental procedure thanks to the competence and consideration if this incomparable team.

When I moved to Edmonton I was really worried about finding a new dentist, as I'd been going to the same dentist since I was a kid. I had no need to worry, because this office is amazing. They are friendly, helpful, and most importantly gentle!!. They also always manage to keep me calm (I have some dental anxiety). They are also far less expensive than my former dentist, which was a bonus. I would recommend this office without hesitation.

I went to this dentist to get my wisdom teeth looked at. The dentist told me he couldn’t take them out me referred me to an expensive oral surgeon. And instead told me I needed two fillings right away. I came back for the fillings and he left crumpled foil in my mouth after the fillings. The two fillings weren’t done correctly and I still have pain while flossing because of the floss catching on the filling over a year later. When I emailed the clinic about my fillings I got a rude email back stating sometimes the fillings do that and it’s normal. I went to a different dentist and need to get the fillings redone. And also got told my wisdom teeth could be removed without the expensive oral surgeon visit. Not the best experience. That being said, the hygienist I had was really friendly and did a great job cleaning my teeth. And the prices are less than other clinics but not low enough for me to ever go back.

Amazing dental clinic, great company and happy staff. They used to have a very handsome, smart and young dentist named Barry who retired. He can’t have been older that 40 so he must have been very successful to retire so young. Everyone else is absolutely great but it’s hard to compare them to Dr. Barry Bergh.

This was my first time in the clinic visiting Dr.Laatsch for a Crown Lengthening procedure on my top 6 front teeth. As soon as I walked in i was welcomed warmly by the front staff, and then I had the pleasure of sitting in their modern and cozy waiting room. I was led back to the treatment room by one of the Dental Assistants, and she too was very personable and kind. I felt right at home. Dr.Laatsch came in, introduced himself and explained what he was going to do. I felt all my questions were answered, and I was ready for the Crown Lengthening. All in all the procedure was quick, and I was very happy with the result. Each day that passed I grew more and more confident with my new smile. I came back a week later to get the sutures out, and everything healed up great. I highly recommend Strathcona Dental Clinic, as well as Dr.Laatsch. I had a true 5 star experience, and I look forward to going back.

As I write today, I have just come from a successful extraction of an impacted wisdom tooth. It was definitely the smoothest and most reassuring dental experience I've ever had. Leading up to the visit, I oscillated between teary and nauseous. By the time I got to the office, I was anticipating an experience not unlike decapitation. Once I was in the chair, Dr. Wehbe asked how I was doing, and on a scale of 1-10, how anxious was I. "TEN." I thought. "TEN BILLION." Having established my Terror Rating, Dr. Wehbe was fantastic! He was professional, non-judgemental, calm, and reassuring in the face of my panic. He discussed the procedure before we began, giving me options regarding sedation, and emphasized that I had control over the visit. "If at any time you feel uncomfortable, we will stop and review what we can do to make things better before we go on." Clear communication when you have a mouth full of tools, at last! I was also greatly impressed with how much attention he took to make sure my visit was as painless (really!) as possible. From immediately rinsing my mouth when I mentioned a bad taste from the anesthetic to giving me additional freezing when I even felt a small twinge of pain, Dr. Wehbe was attentive, considerate, and kind. I was reassured on arrival and even smiling on departure- not what you'd expect from your average wisdom tooth extraction!

Seriously: When I came to see Dr. Webee, I had allergies for the last 3 years caused by infection from 3 missed root canals done else where... and felt like that was it... I was getting old now. Thanks to solve my infection. Thanks to give me my life back. Now my allergies are gone. My emotions are back together. State of the art technology to have a rational treatment based on finding the problem and fixing it using the newest technology. No hesitation to recommend that place. Parking takes 3 to 4 minutes. Amazing clinic! All the staff were so kind and both Dr. Wehbe and Dr. Laatsch were great. I have had issues for years with my teeth due to having surgery as a teenager but after a very intense cleaning under sedation, today was the first time my gums didn't bleed when I brushed my teeth since my surgery. The hygienists were very gentle with my overly sensitive gums and did an extremely thorough job. I'm feeling very optimistic that I will be able to have no pain or bleeding in my gums for the future and am happy to be on a regular dental schedule again. Also that if my gums are starting to get irritated again that I should make an appointment right away.

I had Dr. Wehbe as my dentist for the first time for the removal of my three remaining wisdom teeth. I was scheduled to have them both out on the same day but my top right tooth became incredibly painful due to cavity at the back of it and they got me in that same day to remove the one immediately, that’s just the tip of the iceberg of how accommodating and incredible of a dentist office this is. I had dry socket when I got the other two out due to bottom wisdom tooth being impacted and a difficult extraction, Dr. Wehbe saw me for 10 days and helped me with the pain management and went above and beyond to make sure I healed correctly and to manage the pain I was feeling. I chose this dentist out of sheer luck and I am as glad as I could possibly be with the choice. If you need a dentist office, this is the office and Dr. Wehbe is your guy. First off I’m someone who has always put off dental work. I dread being in that chair wether it’s a cleaning or any other procedures. I just would rather deal with any pain from my teeth then go sit in that chair. That’s changed after seeing Dr.Wehbe. Id seen these other reviews and figured let’s try this place after having an exposed nerve that was too painful to function in life properly. Ive not only had that problem fixed but ended up catching up on the remaining dental work and I’m planning on keeping up with yearly visits and no longer avoid the dentist unless it’s necessary. This place is as good as the other reviews say Great staff. The dental assistants are awesome and DR. Wehbe is great at what he does.

I am really happy I found Strathcona Dental Clinic. I picked the clinic because it was close to where I lived, and I feel like I really got lucky. I had not visited a dentist in years, and they made catching up on my dental health painless and quick. Dr. Wehbe and his staff were pleasant, swift, and thorough, and they gave me no hassle whatsoever about having gone so long in between dentists. Dr. Wehbe even gave me extra x-rays that were not covered by my insurance at no charge just because he wanted to make sure everything was done properly. Great staff, great service. Truly amazing people. I have been going here since I was a baby originally had Dr Matheson as my dentist. When he retired Dr Wehbe took over. He really is the most caring and gentle dentist always helping me (as we all no mouth pain is one of the worst pains). I was in pain from an infected tooth and Dr Wehbe gave me his emergency number just in case I needed anything. The worst feeling is having so much pain over the holidays and no one is around to help. The last thing you want to do is go to the emergency room and have them pull it. I called Dr Wehbes emergency number and he got back to me right away. Had a prescription ready and a on call dentist ready to go. We ended up having to go in the night before new years eve to do a root canal. I am truly so thankful for Dr Wehbe and Dr Leavens. They saved my sanity and pain as fast as humanly possible. If you have any anxiety about dentistry this is the place to go. They really are the best. I could never thank them enough!!

Dr. Wehbe and his staff are absolutely amazing. I am a very anxious dental patient, so much so that I hadn't set foot in a clinic for over 10 years. Obviously there was a lot of work to be done and I was very upset about the thought of going through it all. Dr Wehbe calmed my nerves from the moment I sat in the chair, he explained the procedures and formed a plan that would work for me. My nerves about dentistry are finally starting to calm and I am getting braver every time. They use a special type of needle for freezing that you can barely feel at all, and also do oral sedation if you need something a little stronger. I had an emergency with my wisdom teeth. The clinic staff was very helpful and was able to schedule my appointment for the next day. Dr. Laatsch and his assistant Julia did a terrific job extracting my teeth, one of which was sitting in a gum. He applied stitching and the whole procedure took less then an hour. Dr. Laatsch gave me clear instructions and answered all my questions. Recovery process was easy and painless. I am really happy to have had such a great professional taking care of me.

Following the good reviews here I decided to bite the bullet and make an appointment. I'm so glad I did. Everyone I met on staff were kind, personable, and professional, and Dr. Wehbe was seriously great. I felt they all took my concerns seriously and were the absolute best. I never really write reviews, but I had such a great experience at Strathcona Dental Clinic. Dr. Wehbe is the best dentist I have ever been to. He is very courteous, professional, kind, and generous. The clinic staff are so warm and friendly. You will not find a better place to have dental work done. He seems to truly care about his patients and their well being. I have never been so impressed and happy with a dentist!!! I highlyyy recommend!!

As a self-proclaimed "nervous patient" I am endlessly grateful for Dr. Wehbe and Kristin. My dental health is dependent solely on their good nature and kindness. If I hadn't found this dental clinic I would probably still be avoiding dentists at all costs. Dr. Wehbe takes the time to explain what he is going to do, and always takes breaks when he can notice my discomfort. Kristen is also so kind, making sure I am okay, and I can even remember her holding my hand at one particularly stressful visit. Claire the receptionist is so friendly and is extremely helpful with insurance, bookings and payment. Her smile is a wonderful way to start and end your visit. Overall, I could not ask for anything more from my neighborhood dentist.

Dr Wehbe, Claire, Kristin and Charlene (and the rest of the staff) are so friendly and helpful, they make going to the dentist a good experience. If you have to have a procedure done, everything is explained to you and they have the latest in technology to make it less painful. My boyfriend and sister go to Dr Wehbe too and they are just as happy as I am.

I am a Registered Nurse yet due to an extreme fear, I have not been to a dentist for 13 years. Last time I saw a hygienist was about 20 years. My tooth broke and I was forced to see someone. The fear I have of dentists was one thing, but being ashamed of myself for being a health promoter who doesn't get regular check-ups, was even worse. I Googled and found Dr.Wehbe. Claire was the first amazingly kind person who booked my appointment and she also welcomed me in a positive, non judgmental way. Charlene took me to the exam room where Dr.Wehbe came in and let me see my x-ray on the big TV and explained everything. The next visit I got to see Claire again who has become a friendly welcoming face for me. I ended up getting all my dental work done with Kristen holding my hand the whole way!!! Big Baby!! At my 3rd visit I no longer wanted sedation as the way Dr.Wehbe freezes, doesn't hurt at all! Honestly. He froze me so Jennifer could do deep cleaning over two appointments. My teeth are clean and happy and on their way to being healthy again!!! The cost was very reasonable and no more expensive than regular freezing. I'd give them a 10 Star rating if it was available. Now they just need to put Jennifer's picture back on their site because she's back from mat leave now!!

It seemed overwhelming at first, but all of my questions were answered professionally and a treatment plan involving multiple visits was put together. The work was performed skillfully and with excellent bedside manner and no pain. Very nice and polite staff to meet u at the front desk. Dr. Wehbe is very knowledgeable and listens to issue u may have or concerns. I personally dont freeze well and he is very accommodating when it come to taking longer to freeze and especially when i dont fully freeze. Dr Wehbe is a dentist of his word. I am not a fan of needles and I have had bad dentist experiences in the pass. Had a very painful tooth that I had been putting off getting fixed for far to long, due to dental anxiety. Found Strathcona dental on google and the reviews looked good. I was not disappointed. From the second I walked in I was greeted with friendly staff. The hygienist was very friendly and gentle. The dentist came in and recommended to pull the tooth which I was apprehensive about. It took about 5 minutes and there was basically no pain or discomfort. I’ve never had that level of care, and gentleness while at a dentist. I will for sure be making this my new family dentist going forward! Would highly recommend them to anyone!

I’m very happy with my titanium dental implant that Dr Wehbe did a few years ago, and at the fraction of the cost compared to a Periodontist. I have had no issues from my implant. P The latest addition to the clinic is an air- flow equipment for the dental hygienist to use. He didn’t only have one installed, but rather one for each hygienist station. (“Air-Flow gently and painlessly removes surface stains caused by tobacco, food and drink”). My hygienist visit a couple of weeks ago with Jennifer was more efficient with the use of the air -flow and turned out to be a great dental cleaning experience! Thanks Jennifer! Dr Wehbe is a very soft spoken man who is extremely patience, kind, confident and up-to- date with all of his dental skills and expertise. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Dr Wehbe and his staff for all of your family dental health!

I originally started coming to this clinic after doing some research on state of the art dental technology. I found this place a few short blocks from our office. Dr. Laatch and team are always very professional and efficient. I recently went in for a cleaning and the dental hygienist let me know step by step what she was doing and seeing. She made the experience a delightful and educational one. She spoke to the fact that this is one of the oldest dental practices (serving clients for 60 +years) in Edmonton . I got to thinking about how many generations have been served here from great great grandparents down to their great great grandchildren and everyone in between.
