This was my first visit to Core Dental and I was very impressed at the service and professionalism of the team. I had a check up and a cleaning and I have to mention that my Dental Hygienist Hatim has got to be the best hygienist I have ever had. He did such a terrific job with absolutely no pain!! Super recommend this Dental office and Hatim!!!

I had an awsome experience last week on Core Dental with Dr Alice. I work near by and I was thinkin since it was a new place and a fancy clinic it could be very expensive, but the other way around they have very competitive prices. I was very happy that they have availability to take care of my problem as soon as posible. My only suggestion is to please show the hours on the front door, since they have different schedule from one day to another.

I had went to core dental for the first time after not being to the dentist since High school... Yikes, but all the staff at core dental were kind, understanding and accommodating. Dr. Ardakani made sure that I was completely comfortable with each procedure and went above and beyond to ensure that each visit was a good experience for me. Also, the reception staff was diligent with handling my insurance coverage from multiple providers. I will absolutely be returning!!! Called to make an appointment to clean my teeth. Found out the original appointment date wasn’t actually going to work for me so I called the next day to rearrange. They told me my appointment didn’t exist. Weird, but okay. I made another one for a day that would work. The day of the appointment I am told again that my appointment doesn’t exist and they can’t get me in that day. Never going here again and will tell everybody I know to avoid this place. Cheers. I did make two appointments ahead of time. Thanks.

Contrary to the website, the downtown location is NOT "24/7/365". Went there today with a dental emergency, and they were not open. They're open Mon-Fri, until 5 pm and after 5 you have to make n appointment. Also when I called I got a machine saying they were away from their desk (no mention of hours) and they would get back to me within 12 hours, which in dental emergency terms is about 3,489 hours. Not reviewing here, as I've never used their services, but posting as a caution for the next person who crawls up to their door, wild-eyed with pain, on a Sunday.

This is a great place, I called in the middle of the night for an appointment and they were able to see me right away. Beautifully decorated and high tech yet very comfortable atmosphere, and super friendly night staff. I will definitely go there again even for a non-emergency. They had other non dental services as well which was cool too.

It’s probably due to the fact that I’m from a small town, but I was impressed by the technology of this place. A TV on the ceiling to watch your favourite shows while they’re working on your teeth is something I wasn’t used to. The two dentists are pretty friendly, and so are their assistants and other staff. The only downside, and the reason I gave 4 stars, is the price. They typically charge a little more than what my insurance covers. Finally, the frontdesk ladies are pretty cute and fun-to-talk-with, so that’s a plus!

Had to get emergency tooth pulled. 7pm on a saturday. These guys hooked us up. Greeted by Charlene at the door with a big smile and it got better from there. Karan took us in to get all set up and it was laughter and smiles the whole time. Nervous about the dentist but this was absolutly pain free. Dr. Aj Seeha came in and walked me through everything and made sure i understood everything going on. I highly 10000% recommend these guys. If you are scared of the dentist, this crew will totally take care of you. Almost sad it was time to leave when it was all done. Dr. Seeha, Charlene, and Karan - you guys rock!!!

I highly recommend Downtown Core Dental. It's surprising, for me, to say I have a great experience for my dental appointments - I have pretty bad anxiety about going to the dentist, for anything. My anxiety has gone down quite a bit since I've started going to Core Dental - they're gentle when I come in for my cleanings and always making sure I'm comfortable. The office is always clean and all the staff are welcoming and kind; happy and ready to answer my many questions.

I love Dr. Ardakani and his team. Sometimes life happens and I can't come in for a few months but they never hold it against me and always check in to see if I want to book a new appointment which makes me feel valued as a patient. Their office is modern and clean without feeling stuffy or overly clinical. Their thoroughness in trying to give me the price quotes for worst case scenarios is awesome because when the price comes out to less than expected, I always end up feeling like I won something. They're also just really awesome people!

The office has a lot of tech, including a television on the ceiling so that you can watch Youtubr while the work is ongoing. Highly recommended.

I had called into Core Dental Downtown to get some quotes on some work I needed done. At the time I have to say I was pretty hard to deal with. I ended up talking to the most personable receptionist. Both of my girls had happy visits and cleanings at the dentist this morning. And this place is so awesome and friendly... W (3 years old) was so happy and comfort she did her appointment on her own and E (6 years old) was waiting with excitement (who gets excited at dentist? lol) for her turn. We love this place ❤️ And I also did my cleaning and check up this week and they were so patient with me and supportive because of my anxiety. %100 recommend them!!!!! Sheena at the front was amazing at explaining everything to me and so welcoming and kind. Hannah did the gentlest hand scaling cleaning I have EVER had and super thorough. Marissa is amazing with my kiddos and super fun and friendly and she did the girls' checkups and cleanings. Dr Alice was also so gentle and kind and great at explaining options for my dental care. I even got to have aromatherapy in the room and watch Netflix. The waiting area is cozy and comfortable and they have colouring for the kids (and netflix and games/internet computer table) and coffee for the adults. This dental experience was a game changer for my family! Great job to Core Dental Downtown ????????????????????????

Downtown Core is such a great dental house to go for any dental concern. I personally don’t have good teeth condition and am in need of so many treatments so I am in constant need of seeing dentist. I have tried couple of different doctors in Edmonton since 5 years ago and was not very satisfied with either their attitude or the actual services until I was lucky enough to find Dr. Ardakani at Core . He is very knowledgeable and discreet as well as experienced and professional. Everyone treats you well and they are all so caring. I am glad I eventually found my dental house in this town . I would definitely recommend this place to everyone to try. It is all worth it.

Update: X-rays sent! Took a long time with a complete lack of response but glad it's done finally. My experience here was honestly pretty good, I didn't have much of a complaint at all initially It was slightly pricey so I decided to shop around and found another office offering lower prices with similar quality. I asked Downtown Core to send my x-rays to the other office I wanted to visit. I received some valid excuses as to why they couldn't immediately send them. No problem. Followed up again a week later. Some more excuses. Hmm, okay. By the time my next appointment at the new clinic came up, they had still not received my x-rays but the new office was really nice and offered me free bitewings just so that they could review and perform the work and not have to delay the appointment. Still no response from Downtown Core. Emailed again, nothing. I tried calling but they're closed more than they are open. I finally called when they were open and nobody picked up. I left a voicemail asking to call me back with a description of my issue. Nothing. I'm honestly shocked, I paid for those x-rays and would like to make use of them. It's been 3 weeks and still nothing. I thought the people here were pretty nice, but I'm glad I'm taking my business elsewhere if this is the level of responsiveness I'm receiving. I'll gladly change my review score if they just respond and send my x-rays to the new office.

Not sure what happened but my previous review disappeared. Most likely it was too long because I wanted to be sure to mention how impressed I am with Dr Alice and every member of her team. Starting with Sammy who had to make 2 attempts to secure my records from Winnipeg and did so stress free, next Hannah who made a cleaning and scaling a pleasant (and humourous) experience, today Merissa completed a full exam and provided enjoyable conversation throughout. Last but not least Dr Alice reviewed my ex rays with me and made me feel comfortable about future treatment and results. This review is getting long too so I’ll sign off with a plus5 star rating for Core Dental and all its peeps ????

Be careful getting any crown work done here: not only is it expensive--they might mess up the shape of your smile. One of my front teeth needed a replacement. The crown I was given was misshapen and clearly jutted out several millimeters further than the original tooth, which has affected my ability to chew food. When I brought this up to Dr. Ardakani I was met with a condescending dismissal of my concerns. Never mind the fact that now I can't bite down naturally, that's not his concern. Never mind the fact that I'm getting jaw pain because of this crown, he doesn't care. Never mind that I've had years of expensive orthodontic work and that my smile looks crooked now, it's obviously not their fault. For what it's worth the other work I've had done here was satisfactory. Edit: I never said Dr. A did the crown. He was however totally dismissive and condescending when I brought up my concerns, as evidenced by the reply to this review. Total lack of sympathy for shoddy work done at his practice. He doesn't care about your teeth, he cares about your $$$!

What an amazing team core dental is! The dentist is incredible and efficient, and the assistants are very helpful and friendly. I found that Victoria was extremely happy to be there and was very energetic towards helping her patients. I highly recommend more people go visit this dentist!

Ive been going to this dentist for years. I recently had to transfer locations because downtown is closer to home. I absolutely love then. All of them are fantastic and friendly and I could not ask for a better dentist office. Today is the day I got my invisalign, all of them were super happy for me and I couldn't be more excited!!!

They are ALL so friendly and informative, you can tell they love their jobs! It was such a great experience in client service! After reading everyone's review on here I decided to give them a chance, and I'm sure glad I did! The customer service is top knotch ????! I've had dentists in the past where they simply have told me if I have a cavity or if something needed to be fixed. What I like about Core Dental is they really educate you on what exactly is going on in your mouth. They do this by taking pictures of different angles of your teeth, followed by x-rays after. Once that's completed they'll show you the results on a big flat screen. From there you visually can see a cavity, chip tooth, or even damages from grinding. Finishing on that note, I definitely give this place and the staff 5 out of 5????. Thank you Core Dental ????
