Had to wait to get in even after my scheduled appointment. The front desk did not check to see if my address and phone number changed. It was a person who had worked there before and knew me who had asked. I had x-rays done and was left standing with the heavy apron to protect me while the technician left to go grab or do something (not sure why she left the room). After the cleaning (which was not pleasant), had to move to another area and waited quite a long time (about 15 minutes) for the dentist to come see me. Dentist was polite and thorough but did not appreciate the wait time. I will definately go to where my previous dentist has moved to.

The quality of work is very bad and the treatment they give to people, the also bad this clinic the just looking for a way to make more money from you, I feel very disappointed in this place since all the jobs that they send me to do there did not last more than 6 months.

Dr. Mak is thorough. Has a good memory on dental history. The staff in the front know you by first name. The Hygenist is very gental and gives great advice. I hate going to the Dentist but my 7 years as a patient, I have healthy teeth because of their reommened dental hygeine.

New Dentist today. My old Dentist has sold it to a conglomerate that owns many Dentist offices. The overall feeling is to upsell upsell upsell! I felt the same as if a furnace cleaning company phones the house at suppertime. The new dentist asked if I was on any medications. I said yes and the conversation ended there. Why ask at all if you are not asking what meds I am on? He wanted to schedule some procedures without really asking if I wanted to get them done. I was with the previous dentist for more than 30 years. I may go elsewhere. Hygenists are great still though.

Both reception staff, and my doctor Dr. Patterson are absolutely great and exceptional. However, the RDH, Loveleen Jaswal is mean and bad. In the first day, I thought she might have a bad day and I let it go. How could one double their meanness and negativity even when you thank them at last despite their bad service for two days in a row?! It’s more of a pattern constituting a bad behavior than an incidence. How could one refuse to answer questions about your dental care that they are assigned for. She pretends she hasn’t heard you and ignored you. Absolutely buffling!!! I would avoid her by all means for next time. The other staff and doctors are truly professional and perfect! I hope the management will take some measure to make sure that clients are not offended and pushed away from Affinity because of few bad apples

He doesnt know what he is doing, always try to take the root canal route, even its not required, to make more money. I went with one issue which was a mild didnt require which didnt require a root canal, but i was advised to get a root canal. Make sure you take second onions when it comes to unethical dentists

Dr Tsang and his team have been my dental providers for over 20 years. The few times I've moved cities and tried to use another dentist, they always compliment the work that Dr Tsang has done in my mouth because it's impeccable. It never fails though - it's impossible to replace the Affinity Dental Group and I return even if I am still living in another city. Totally worth the trip! Over the years, I've brought my entire family to the location... Even my mom who was terrified of dentists after 30+years of refusing to see one, got into Dr Tsang's chair and he made sure she was comfortable and able to work at her pace. I truly cannot thank him enough. I think in today there's 7 family members using this location. If that doesn't say something, I don't know what does. Thanks Affinity for the fantastic experiences over the years. I'm always excited to get in the chair... How crazy is that???

Check it out, here is what it happened to me. I got a problem on my teeth, I felt hurt the minute I chewed something with my left side. So I visited several other dental offices. It turned out it is not caused by hot or cold sensitivity. So they filled my tooth cavity, but the problem was still on. They couldn't come up with it except re-filling my tooth crack. But it still didn't work. I visited Affinity Dental eventually. I was treated by Sara the dentist. You know what, she did solve the problem! I don't feel hurt any more. Amazing! She only did a simple operation, then the hurt has gone. Thanks her!

I've been going to Affinity for about 8 years. Love it here. Dr. Tsang is awesome. Takes the time to explain some of the new technology and procedures they use. Gentle and caring. My hygienist Jessica is wonderful. Also gentle and caring. And cute as a button. And what can I say about the front desk ladies? They rock. Always laughing and smiling. I must admit, going to the dentist has never been a pleasant experience but Affinity Kingsway has changed my thoughts on that matter. For once in my life, I actually look forward to my appointments.

One of my family members had some work done here. They broke off a tool in his face and want to charge him to fix their errors. Not how business should be conducted. I am only writing this because I have to hear how much pain and agony he is constantly in as we live together. Very unfortunate they will not stand behind their work. As a business professional if someone is not satisfied with the work I do or something goes wrong. I admit my fault and remedy the situation.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Mack since I was a kid. Due to me being an irresponsible adult (33 years old), I hadn’t seen him in 10 years. Over the weekend I got clipped in the mouth in hockey and chipped my tooth. I called his office this morning and they were able to get me in today to put a filling in. It looks great and I also received a check up. 10 years of not seeing him And only 1 cavity! (Haha) ’ll be seeing him again and on a more regular basis. As good as I remembered.

Today I went in for a regularly scheduled cleaning with Carmen. She was very thorough with her pre-assessment and was able to have Dr. Fawad pop in for an assessment and to address my concerns, after my cleaning. Dr. Fawad was very accommodating to squeeze me in for a minor adjustment, without affecting his other clients. The clinic has strict covid protocols in place and as a healthcare professional, I felt very comfortable being in the clinic and receiving treatment.

The staff were very very helpfull, My wisdom teeth started causing me alot of pain, and they made an appointment for me the next day in the morning. They were very quick, xrayed and looked at my teeth and got me into a surgery booked for the folowing morning all within an hour. These two take excellent care of my mouth and are extremely friendly ! They genuinely care for their patients and are experts in their field of work ! I have had bad experiences with other dentists in the past and was so afraid of repeat errors! I believe I have found the perfect dental office and referred my daughter to them and she is also very happy ! The receptionists up front are always very friendly but don’t always know how my dental plan works so there have been a few minor errors. UPDATE SEPT 25 2019 Since my initial 3 HOUR VISIT. I have TWO billing errors. The front desk has NEVER been able to give me a quote or estimate so the cost at the end of my visit is ALWAYS a surprise. Dr. Sarah recommend some services I needed "ASAP" When I tried to get an estimate I was given the RATE CODES AND TOLD TO CALL MANULIFE MYSELF TOO SEE WHAT WOULD BE COVERED!!!??? Today I was contacted with yet another billing error from JULY and I'm told I owe $88?? Nope. I've cancelled my next appointment and looking for a new clinic. _____________________________________________ The hygienist (Angelique) and Dr. Sarah were AMAZING. only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I was called the day before my scheduled appointment and told my appointment would be 1 hour earlier (from 1pm to noon) and was asked to come 10 minutes early to do paperwork. I arrived at 11:50am. And ended up sitting in the waiting room for an hour. There was a lot of waiting between my check up with Dr. Sarah and Angelique. I ended up leaving at 3pm. Over 3 hours of my day was spent in and around this office. I was informed that a hygienist called in absent, but I still can't figure out how a check up and cleaning took 3 hours of my day. Worth the wait? NO!

Front staff and Dental hygienist - professional and curtious - told the front staff I wanted a good hygienist that hopefully wouldn’t be to hard on my teeth and gums and cause bleeding due to my health condition (on blood thinners) - this did not happen the new hygienist during teeth cleaning she was very rough and caused major bleeding in my mouth and I warned her in the beginning that I was on blood thinners - the previous hygienist was more gentle and careful but no longer works there -the new dentist who checked my xrays and teeth was ok but I said I was concerned about the bleeding in my mouth and he said that it isn’t a big deal and would stop bleeding soon (3 hours later gums still bleeding) -seems like all new hygienists fresh out of school do the same and basically are Too tough and rough on the gums and cause bleeding and pain -I will not return this clinic due to this issue above

On November 28th Dr Fawad Ahmed started a root canal procedure that he recommended I have done, the procedure lasted almost 3 hours in which I experienced alot of pain and had to receive more local anesthetic mid procedure, after which he told me he did not complete the procedure and he broke a 0.7cm long piece of his rotary file in the nerve canal of my tooth. He said he could no longer worked on me and sent me to an extremely expensive endodontist to have it removed and finish the procedure. I went for a second opinion and now I'm having to have my tooth surgically removed due to his carelessness, I had to pay $375 to his endodontist friend *layton endodontics* for a "consultation". They also failed to list this procedure at all on both my medical file and my insurance claims. Do not trust this place with any major dental work.

Had the 2nd appt for my crown. Dr. M. Fawad and his dental assistant were absolutely fantastic. In no time.at all they had the temporary crown removed and got the gold crown ready and put in place with no problems at all. Excellent dentist Dr. Fawad is. I'm scared of going to a dentist but this is the first time that I'm not afraid and the dental work is painless. It's hard to believe but true. Don't know what his secret is but I'm definitely continuing to have him as my dentist. Also excellent and friendly front office staff. Overall a good experience and would recommend this Dr. Fawad and Affinity Dental to anyone.

I have a last question about a plastic cap( non-permanent) to hide the enamel on some teeth, but I can leave that until I see the dentist next time.
