In January 2017 I had experienced a miscommunication with one of the dentists there. She was a delightful person and we forged on. Almost 2 years later I brought up that confusion to Dr John Nesbitt and he clearly and succinctly in a professional way put the situation right. I respect his actions to hear from the patients and clear up inaccurate perceptions, (even after a long lag.). The whole staff there are stellar.

I have been going to peak family dental for over a year and I am now on maternity leave so I do not have any benefits. I have had a painful tooth for some time and within a day I was in to get the tooth looked at. Dr.Mike was amazing, and explained everything thoroughly to me. All the staff are always great, and I would recommend this place to anyone!!

I recently had Zoom! Whitening treatment at Peak Family Dental Center, and my smile has never been brighter! I was in and out of the office in an hour and a half, it was like I blinked and had a white smile! I suffer from TMJ, and this treatment didn’t effect my jaw at all. The assistant was very gentle and friendly and I felt confident and comfortable the entire appointment. I would recommend this treatment to anyone, and I would highly suggest this Dental Office!

Do not trust Dr. Riahi! she is the worst human being. Just thinking about money. She will tell you your teeth need jobs to make you fill her pocket and you will end up having your teeth messed up for the rest of your life.

incompetent! i made an appointment to have a painful cavity fixed, waited ten days, was then told the first appointment was exam only! they call this care. if i needed stitches a Doctor would not give me a physical, then tell me to come back later. one star is the least i can give, that is for convenient parking.

5/5 overall experience! Staff is friendly, customer service is amazing, and had the best teeth cleaning I have had in my life here from Jan! As someone who typically HATES the dentist I can confidently say that I quite enjoyed my experience at Peak Family Dental! I would recommend this dentist office to anyone in need of one. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the facility is clean. The expertise are apparent in their senior staff. Based on these factors, I believe you are quite likely to find a positive experience. However the 3 star review is based off a mishap outlined below. My experience became rocky late in 2019. An error in the transcription of the information from my new insurance provider card resulted in a balance on my account which was void of insurance coverage. At the appointment in question I asked the office to confirm my insurance, as they had offered for me in my initial set up. I was told the provider will not release the information to them. After the visit and the newly accrued balance on my account I called them and error was discovered; they let me know that they would submit the claim properly instead. Fast forward 3 months, I'm informed that my insurance claim was denied and that I must pay the balance. I called them the same day but couldn't get an answer and was told I would get a call the next day. Instead, the following morning I got an email telling me to speak to the insurance company. When I called the dental office to seek a resolution, the staff agreed that it was an error on their part(after drawing some parallels); I was told they would have the owner call me to discuss. Instead, I was issued an email declaring that the balance will be sent to a collection agency. I went to the office not long after and quietly paid the balance. The office admin kindly asked how I was, at which point I explained my frustration having to pay for someone else's mistake and the course of events was discussed at length. The result of which was a decision to resubmit the claim (sometimes a signature helps) and an agreement to refund me half the balance if the coverage falls through. I believe you are unlikely to find yourself in a similar situation with this practitioner. It is still unclear if I should seek a new dental office or not but the quality of work is there.

I have had 2 complicated procedures done on my root canals. Both were successful and done with expertise by the specialist. My experiences are very positive. I had no discomfort during or after the procedures except for slight soreness where the freezing was injected. I would recommend this specialist to everyone. The office is pleasant, the staff are helpful and kind, I always feel welcome know I will be well cared for. I definitely recommend this dental clinic.

The staff are wonderful and Dr Nesbitt was so gentle, I felt nothing. My sons experience was exactly the same. I would recommend Peak Family Dental every time. Especially children. The environment is great and the experience is made easy.

I called the office in extreme pain with a couple broken and abscessed teeth. They got me in almost immediately, and I was given antibiotics and another appointment to have the toeeth removed. My second appointment was on time. That's honestly never happened for me at any other dentist! The break in the teeth made them awkward to remove, and Dr. Mike carefully explained all the worst case scenarios that could happen. He got them out without any complications, thankfully, and through the entire procedure he made sure I was aware of what was happening and made my comfort a priority. It was the most relaxing dentist visit I've ever had. Oh, and I didn't feel the injections. Voodoo? Witchcraft? Black magic? Whatever it is, keep doing it! All the staff I've dealt with have been amazing and kind. I'll definitely be visiting Peak from now on!

Very well treated by the staff. Dr. Sidd was very kind and understanding. I was going in for a small cavity and I asked if he could please polish another filling I had done at another office two weeks prior, and he did not forget to do that. I find him very approachable and not in a rush. Too bad he was kind of hitting my other teeth when he did my one tooth (first bicuspid) or else I would have given him 5 stars.

I've been with this clinic for almost a year. I've had complicated dental issues, that also required dental surgery. The doctors and staff at this clinic are incredibly outstanding!! They took care of all my dental needs and more. They are amazing at their jobs, super friendly, and very educated! I would highly recommend this office for any and all dental needs. Newly-upgraded dental office--they have all the latest equipment to make a dental visit as pleasant as possible. I really appreciate the new XRay system- Zero wait for images. The dentists are younger and have all the most recent training. Recommended.

DO NOT GO HERE WILL TRY AND SCAM YOU!! tell you are covered for doing a procedure with out even contacting workers comp even as you leave dont ask for a cent then 3 months later will tell you it was denied from work safe bc when they where told from the begging that it was work safe Sask and tell you have til the end of the week before we send you to collections OVER A FREAKING TEXT! Then proceed to tell you that they aren't going to do work for free we did it so someone has to pay for it. I TELL EVERYONE I CAN NOT TO GO TO THIS SCAM OF A BUSINESS

John is one of the best there is. I had an abscessed tooth that was causing me an extreme amount of pain and he met me and my husband (I could not see or drive because of the pain) at his clinic after 9 pm and helped me. I have NEVER had a dentist or even heard of a dentist who would do this for anyone. I am the most thankful person ever for his ethics. He is a true gentle giant of a man!

Three of my teeth now have issues due to Nesbit. For years he has caused an incredible amount of pain. I now have three crowns, two of which are root canals. None of them were to be root canals from the start. Just a cavity and then my teeth would hurt to where I couldn’t sleep. After informing him multiple times and multiple appointments all of which he charged me, for his “mistakes.” I don’t want anyone to go through what I went through. Do not let this crook do work on your teeth. He will do whatever it takes to charge you the most money possible. Everyone in my family has constant pain in their teeth after going here.

I have a long-standing fear of dentists ( all warranted I venture to say) and for that reason I have avoided making the necessary dental appointments over the years. About 8 months ago and after struggling with yet another painful and swollen abscess, I was advised by a good friend to call Peak Dental in Cranbrook to see if Dr. Nesbitt could fit me in. I did and he did and within hours the problem was solved that same day. I have been back 3 times -twice for a cleaning and the last time for a difficult root canal. Pleased to say that all went very well with no pain or discomfort. Staff are awesome. Facilities are ultra modern. Dr. Nesbitt is patient, pleasant and professional and above all causes no pain. I would like to add that I have twice in the last two weeks read in the local paper of Dr. Nesbitt's awards and generous contributions to the Hospice Society and as a sponsor for the East Kootenay Game Changers in areas of Health and Welfare. All good stuff. Peak Family Dental and Dr. Nesbitt are highly recommended.
