The dentists all really care about your pain levels when you need to be numb for procedures, if you need more freezing they will give it. Not all dentists do care, so thankyou Cumberland Dental. These guys are super efficient and up to date. What really matters to me is that I have found I trust and appreciate their integrity. I sent a friend to Dr Lamb who was petrified of dentists and he managed to refrain from bolting out of the chair. He said she was a great relief.

Hands down the best dental office I’ve ever been to. Every single person that works there is so kind and caring. Dr Eric gave me the fastest, most painless filling I’ve ever had. Upon my first visit about a month ago, their financial planner even came in on her day off to greet me and make sure I was well informed about future work, providing detailed estimates and answering all of my questions. I am over the moon pleased to have been referred to them by a friend.

The receptions terribly unorganized. You book an appointment for 10:25 they confirm then say see you at 10:45... which they then reply opps sorry no we'll see you at 10:50. So I'm like ok no problem see you then! When you show up for your appointment 10 mins early expecting to be in at 10:50 and they tell you that your not in until 11:10 to which you end up waiting until 11:30. The second worst part of my experience is that you have to book an appointment 2-3 months in advance only to have the dentist cancel on you the day before you come in which has now been twice on me and the only resin I was able to go in is because they had another dentist become available last min. So if you like a dentist that unreliable and a receptionist without a clue, you've come to the right place! But, if you ignore my warning about this place I highly recommend going for the Female dentist there. As my last min stand in for the dentist that I was supposed to see she was great, knows her stuff, and did a great job quickly. P.S! ROFLMAO.... just read the other reviews and almost all of the 5 star ratings are by staff and family members. Don't be fooled by these falsified 5 star lies. Just ask someone you know that's been there and they'll tell you the truth.

After having a horrible and very over-priced visit at another dentist for our daughter, the staff at Cumberland Dental treated us very fairly.. Almost too fairly. We love how the hygienists and dentist all take the time to make our daughter feel comfortable and explain everything to her that they are about to do. They also don't 'dumb it down' for her by saying things like 'we're getting rid of the sugar bugs'. We will be switching the entire family over to Cumberland and have already recommended them to many of our co-workers and friends as well as on Facebook.

This dental Office is the best. I come from Courtenay to get my teeth done at Cumberland dental office because they're the best. They work with your budget, They're great at explaining to you what they need to do and how they're going to do it. The Hygienists are great and are always accommodating for whatever you feel or need. Doctor Becir is awesome, funny, quick and skilled. Having a cavity filled by him is done in no time and he's much better with his needle skills than most dentists I've gone too in the past. I've recommended this dental office so many times already because of how great they are. Hands down, I've found my dentist for life, and I hate going to get my teeth cleaned, however they always try to make it tolerable for me. !0/10. Have recommended and would recommend again.

Hands down the best dental experience I've ever had (Which is saying something as I went in with quite a bit of pain). They managed to fit me in for an emergency as a new patient the same day I called, and had me fixed up by early afternoon. The dentist and assistants were very kind and patient, explaining all parts of the procedures as they occurred, and while nervous, I felt very safe and comfortable. When it came time to pay, as it was an emergency, reception were fantastic about working out flexible payment with me. I cannot give this practice enough stars! <3

Wow what a great experience. We had a rough day with a fall resulting in first a trip to the er and then on the Saturday before Christmas straight to the dentist. They were super kind and patient with my asd daughter. Made her feel safe and got her tooth all fixed up in under 30 minutes from when we walked in the door. The quality of the work and the staff are very good and in the beginning we were extremely happy. We had left a previous clinic for the practices I’m about to write about. HOWEVER, we feel that the incessant push for YEARLY x-rays and other invasive procedures has become abusive. They DO NOT want to just do a yearly dental cleaning anymore without the inclusion of the above extra charges. And in fact, we got a call this morning 3 HOURS before a long scheduled appointment telling us that they can’t (read “WON’T) do “JUST” a cleaning and basically that we were free to find another dentist. We found this attitude shockingly coercive and unprofessional. When we go to our physician for our yearly physical, other than the standard bloodwork, our doctor doesn’t say we must get an x-Ray/MRI/ultrasound or else he cannot provide care and/or diagnosis.

Crowns are done on location reducing the multiple visits and inconvenience associated with temporary crowns. Only one visit is necessary and the fit and finish of the crowns is superb.

I had my wisdom teeth removed as part of Dr. Becir's training for IV sedation. I was nervous about the sedation part, never having experienced it before. The whole team was excellent and kept checking in to see how I was doing, and Dr. Becir explained everything really well to me, made sure all of my questions were answered, and made me feel respected as a patient. A shout out to Caitlin (hygienist/assistant) for being such a kind person - thanks :) -- I am one of "those people" who has a hard time trusting doctors & dentists because of past experiences, but these people are so good at what they do and so genuinely caring and respectful that i had no problem trusting them. And the procedure was well done, no hiccups. Also Dr. Lamb is my regular dentist there and she is excellent, she's filled *many* cavities for me and she does a great job, ditto for her everything I said about explaining things well and being respectful etc.
