My experience today was amazing, each person there helped me to feel comfortable and even happy to be there... It was for me, a very scary idea to go get my teeth looked at, and I walked out of there feeling like all the weight had been lifted. The kindness, and the extra steps that everyone took to make this a comfortable experience was incredible. I don't believe they knew exactly how scared I was to be there... But I was petrified. Months later I'm still struggling because the person who did my fillings botched them. I have been back for 3 bite adjustments and still have pain. I'm not going back there getting someone else to fix it. Also they sent me a bill for a coating or material that's considered aesthetic which i didn't ask for at all. I really doubt anyone is looking at the fillings in my molars which I'm pretty sure i didn't actually need anyway. Also the strangest thing I've ever seen in my life the hygienist refused to do both top and bottom cleaning in one appointment citing that it would be better for me to do half and come for another appointment even though i was adamant that it is not as each appointment meant missing time at work. What a joke. Yeah the office is pretty and fancy and everything but they do not care about the patient's experience at all. All i got were excuses and reasurances and a durpeise bill for something extra i didn't need or want.

I recently moved to the Valley and after experiencing the services first hand - I can confidently say Comox Valley Dental Centre is a superb choice, the staff are friendly, welcoming, professional and definitely know how to crack a joke or two to make you laugh. You feel very much at home when you're there. I am one of those patient's who loves to ask questions and know every detail about my procedure. I had Dr Ben and he is an excellent dentist who takes the time to explain everything clearly, reassures you that you're in great hands and makes you feel at ease. I have had a cleaning and a root canal done, I have zero complaints and strongly recommend Comox Valley Dental as your choice for Dental Needs.

Tina is an excellent hygienist. Although my regular hygienist is no longer there, Tina was welcoming and friendly and was sure to check in on me throughout the appointment to see how I was doing. Also my first time seeing Dr. Park who was friendly and answered my questions thoroughly. I never feel pressured into any extras or unnecessary treatments. They are honest and accommodating and really go out of their way to ensure your appointment is comfortable and on time. I like the text reminders and emails and the feedback questionnaires. I will keep going back.

Getting dental work done is not my favourite pastime but Dr. Ben and staff make the process much more comfortable. They explain the procedures and what to expect, in detail, and look for sign of discomfort, which they work to correct. Tina, the hygienist I saw today, was very effective, gentle and kind. Unfortunately i have to change my previous review, I was quoted to have my teeth cleaned at 230.00 but after two appointments and the hygienist wanting a third, i stopped any further appointments as i was up to 360.00 paid and another appointment would have meant another160.00 or so. I paid 168.00 for the first 50 minute appointment that was only concentrated on my bottom teeth and she didnt touch the top. Then she told me to come back to finish the cleaning and my top teeth...I was confused as to why, when i came back she started my bottom teeth again and didn't touch the top till i was almost done my appointment, and i asked are you not going to polish them and she said sure, not telling me that was extra...(I THOUGHT THAT WAS INCLUDED IN CLEANING..NOPE I WAS CHARGED ALMOST 50.00 FOR 5 MINUTES) and then went on to pay 189.00 for a 45min appointment and then she said i have to come back so she can finish the top...that not doubt, would be another 160 or so ...long story short if you want to pay 520 for teeth cleaning, fly at it..and if they try and say i went to long between cleanings that's pretty funny because every dentist i have ever seen, including yours, who i saw in august of this year, said that i take good care of my teeth..thank you

It was suggested to me to have a particular tooth pulled a few months back and I opted out as it wasn’t bothersome at the time...fast forward I get an infection in my tooth and have to go on antibiotics and wait to get tooth pulled until infection was gone. Thankfully this dental office was reopened after Covid and they took great care of me, they knew I was super nervous and did everything to reassure me and make me comfortable, and the tooth extraction went great!!! Moral of my story..I should’ve listened to Dr.Ben and had the tooth pulled months ago!!! ???? The team there is super fabulous❣️Thanks

They always let me know my opinion and understand when I have to choose either cheaper options and or not right at this time. I have been to dentists who make u feel bad for not doing what they suggest and to be honest in the last year my teeth have been way better then they have been in over 20 years.

All of the staff have always been lovely, very happy, and incredible service. Ive been going for years and have always left more than happy with the services. Today was different though, everything was the same until Dr. Lazarciuc came in. He was borderline rude when asking questions about our family business, we told him about some decisions we were considering through small talk, and his rebutles were condescending and had a very unpleasant tone. We are located near a rougher part of town and happen to deal with the homeless on a day to day basis, including feeding them every sunday for free. When we told him we were looking to fence off a small area and attempt at applying for a liquor license and all he said was "there is already enough people drinking over there" in reference to the homeless, and proceded to throw his gloves on top of the dental assistants tool tray, and walked out while barely getting out a subtle goodbye. I dont feel you need to support our business or even support or care about the homeless and less fortunate in our CV, but there is absolutely no reason to treat someone this way when they are a client of yours for 10+ years, or anyone for that matter. With that said, i cannot stress how wonderful every other staff member in that dental office is, if it wasnt for them, this would have been a 1 star review without question.
