A number of people told me Chris is the best dentist in the Comox Valley. I became a patient and can confirm that they are right. Chris does great work, very quickly and tells you exactly what's going on. He's also very funny. Bonus: I didn't feel the freezing needle going in -- and the area wasn't pre-frozen with a swab. That's a first! The Arbor Dental Centre staff are all very personable and professional. The scheduling seems to run like clockwork. I didn't spend time in the waiting room.

Recently I broke my tooth in an accident, and my daughter was getting married in a week, they got me in fast to check out the situation, but couldn’t see me till the beginning of that week, I needed a little something to protect the broken tooth, as it was sharp and sensitive and Brittany gave me some dental wax that really helped, and I have to say the dentist Dr. Becir did such an amazing job you can’t even see a difference! Always feel welcomed by the staff, I highly recommend Arbor Dental Sincerely Julie:D

No complaints about my hygienist either she also did an excellent job. Dr. Becir has even done a filling for no charge which I appreciate very much. Thank you! The front desk staff are kind, the Dental assistants, Hygienists and Dentists are Professional and take the time to make you feel comfortable and as relaxed as possible. The reception staff are absolutely lovely, I don’t think I’ve had to wait more than 5 minutes to go in, Dr. Becir has been thorough, efficient & extremely friendly and the hygienists are outstanding! The hygienist I just saw had clearly read my file before I came in, was well aware of my problem spots and addressed and checked in on my comfort multiple times. There are too many small, positive changes to list here, not the least of which is the fact that you actually do surveys to make sure your clients are happy! Suffice it to say that I would quickly, emphatically recommend Arbour Dental without a moment’s hesitation. Thank you!!

I went here yesterday for an appointment for myself and then later with my two girls who are 8 and 5. The staff and dentists at Arbor are great! Dr.Becir was great with my kids and the hygienists were super friendly and made them feel at ease. The best part for them was the “better then a toy” surprise at the end…. A gift card for a free scoop of Benino Gelato! I love that they are supporting a local business and keeping useless plastic toys out of my house and the landfill!

We have had the fortunate opportunity to have Dr Brecir and his team take care of the dental needs of both my younger children ages 11&13. My son has huge anxiety due to a precious bad experience at another clinic. When he voiced those concerns Dr Brecir and his team were able to talk this through with him and due his procedure with confidence on both grounds. My son has requested that he never have to see anyone else because he only wants to go to Arbour Dental always now. As for my daughter 11 she has had to have a few procedures including a rootcanel and it was painless during and following. When I asked what she liked most about Arbour Dental she said she loves when Dr Chris sings to her during the procedures. The follow up calls the day after dental work has been done was really appreciated as well. This clinic really knows how to adapt to each individuals needs and comfort levels and I would recommend them to everyone I know. Thank you !!!

While undergoing a routine cleaning, my hygienist discovered a developing abcess. We organized a follow-up two days later (very quick and efficient) for a root canal, which ended up as being totally painless and only an hour's time. Thanks for the great service.

So i havent been to the dentist in ten years. i had a broken infected tooth for four years. I had an appointment with dr burgess to get my upper left wisdom, lower left wisdom, and my broken molar extracted. Well its now the next day. And i havent felt the need to use any painkillers at all. Virtually no swelling. So props, and a huge thank you to dr burgess for doing such a good job

After 23 years at this clinic Dr. Terry Blasco retired and the clinic was sold. Being used to first class care and a wonderful, warm staff and atmosphere I was apprehensive about the new owners. Dr. Becir and his staff have, in a very short time, allayed any fears associated with the changeover. Many of the the same, familiar, friendly faces are still there and Dr. Becir and his staff are first class. During these times of COVID all the protocols are observed and I feel very safe and in fine hands. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone needing dental work.

Great service, super friendly staff. They explained everything to us before proceeding and allowed us to turn down optional services during our appointment and explained the cost behind each service. It's very important to me that my dentist and hygienist are objective and don't try to sell me things that unnecessary. We never felt pressured to pay for services we didn't want and I didn't feel like they were selling to me, which some dentists have done in the past. I was pleasantly surprised when they gave me a clean bill of health, many of my previous dentists always tell me I need to do better and offer me a list of products or services that I can spend money on, even though I knew my teeth were fine. I am very happy with their professionalism and friendliness. I will be taking my family here for years to come.

I drive up to Arbor dental clinic for the very first time about 4 months ago with Lemon-aid, kayak and Mustang Sally riding above me. Dr Bacir and his hygienist laughed so hard when they saw me pull up. Of course they had to ask what was going on. I told them about my Facebook group called Comox valley social experiment and how it is a site dedicated to sharing stories of love, kindness and paying it forward. I fixed my tooth that day and told me I had another cavity that needed filled for the following week. Because I brought so much joy to his staff that day he not only gave me that day’s appointment free of charge but the next one would be free too. Yesterday I needed more work done. I was wearing my trademark Hawaiian Lei again so he knew who I was immediately. Once again there was no charge. Because of the nature of my work I was able to convert his random act of kindness to 25 others later that day. Oh, by the way, he’s an awesome dentist too! Signed The flowerman Unfortunately I can promise you that you will have to pay the going rate but I can promise you excellent service and dental work!

I would highly recommend Dr. Becir and his staff. He has willingly come into the office on a weekend a to help me out when I experienced an dental emergency and I received a call from him on the following Monday to see how I was doing. His whole staff is very warm and caring and he has been wonderful with my three grandchildren. I am not a fan of having my teeth cleaned but both of the hygienists I have seen in his office have been gentle and patient. Either one I would be more than happy to see again! I was prompted to write this review (which I should have done without this prompt) as I read a review on this site that was slanderous and inappropriate. This person started their review by stating that Dr. Becir fired or forced most of his staff to quit without having any knowledge of the facts. If this family is choosing to see another office I certainly have no objection to them making that choice but to make these slanderous judgmental comments is unacceptable and inappropriate at best! I would hope Dr. Becir and his staff would not take take these comments seriously considering the source.

Before Terry left and our favorite hygienist was let go I would have given this dental clinic a 10. However, Terry sold his business to Chris and there's been nothing but drama behind the scenes since. Chris fired or they were forced to quit a lot of his best staff. Most recently he let go of Joan, the best hygienist in the place. She was funny and made the most nervous person comfortable. She was old school and didn't use those noisy irritating machines and very gentle. I, like a lot of people are terrified of dentists but I actually looked forward to seeing her. I always felt safe and entertained at the same time. On top of that she was the absolute best hygienist I've ever been to. The other hygienist, names I won't mention have zero personality and are very Uncomfortable to be around. She made you feel like you weren't worthy of even being in the same room as her. I've been going to that dentist office for over 20 years and with Terry and Joan they kept my business but now they're gone my business is gone with them. My family will be following where Joan goes and I suggest any of her loyal customers do the same. Finding a great hygienist who has the gift of making the experience less scary and who is extremely professional is a rare gift that should be treasured not thrown out.

I haven’t been to the dentist in a really long time due to a lot of nervousness about dental work. This was not like dental offices I’ve been to in the past. Staff was amazing and took the time to explain what they were doing. They were kind. They didn’t make me feel bad about the state of my teeth. I know they were neglected. All of the staff that I spoke with all seemed to enjoy working there, which made the atmosphere in there fun and relaxing, which helped with my nerves. Dr. Becir was beyond amazing and really changed the way I think about going to the dentist. I feel so much better about my dental health. I couldn’t in a million years imagine myself writing a glowing review of a dental office, but here we are. I’d recommend this office to anyone.

The dentist suggested what she thought I needed to be done, asked if I wanted to have all done at one visit and both the dentist and her assistant were so thoughtful all the way through a one hour sitting.
