I really loved the experience, I was super stressed about surgery being it's my first surgery ever. The people before the surgeon were super kind and helpful. My only concern is I was not able to pay the bill properly because I had no recollection that they told me it was upfront then my insurance was going have the bill mailed to them. If I'd have known I would have claimed my bill on my own terms being that I have Manulife I can do it my self and it would have taken me roughly 3-7 business days instead of mailing the bill. Day 6 of recovery and I'm feeling much better, main timeline of painjs midnight and after trying to eat.

I had heard it was a good place to take children my son hates going to doctors, so I a little worried-our first visit he sat on me while they did the cleaning and exam they dental hygienist particularly was amazing with him, we were fortunate to receive her again and he sat in the chair all by himself and looks forward to going in. My spouse and I felt so welcomed we are now both patience ourselves and have received amazing informative dental care, so comfortable the staff makes you feel like you're just hanging out with a friend and you never get the impression of annoyance or impatience during procedures, if you're someone who has difficulty with the chair. :D I've had some bad dentistry in the past, I really wish I had known about Seaway Dental sooner!!

Right from the moment you enter Dr. George's office you are greeted with warm and friendly staff, willing to accomodate schedules and finances. The Dental Assistants/Hygenists are always friendly and informative. Dr. G is the best! It always amazes me when he asks me about my children/grandchildren knowing their names and recollecting our last conversations. He is professional in his delivery of care and is the first dentist to call me at home to see how I was doing after a difficult extraction. I brought my daughter to him after a horrific experience with a lifelong dentist of mine that put the fear of dentists in her I thought I would never shake. Dr. G, in his soft spoken voice, calmed her and was so gentle she is still his patient many years later! Thank you!

As always the office is well organized and the staff are friendly and professional. My hygienist was gentle, thorough, safety conscious and very meticulous. She explained what she was about to do at every step. The visit ends with Dr. George coming in and taking a final inspection to make sure everything is as it should be. He is such a nice person. All safety standards for CoVid were followed and I felt myself quite relaxed in their care.

My husband and I have been patients of Seaway Dental for over 10 years. I personally feel that no other Dentist has been as caring as Dr. George, He even remembers your name and details about your last visit, without checking. He is a truly caring Dentist, the staff are caring and friendly, and try to make every visit relaxing . My daughter lives in Ottawa, and she comes down to get her teeth done also. The hygienists are excellent too. I would recommend this office to any one who needs special attention.

I was nervous switching to a new dentist when we moved to the area over 10 years ago. Robert has been my hygienist (FANTASTIC!) for over 10 years, my husband's for the last 20+ years. Dr George became our dentist, and we have happy, healthy teeth and gums ever since. Our 9 and 7 year old girls still get excited when it's time to go for a check up ...no cavities yet! =)

I needed an emergency examination, and was given an appointment the very next morning. The care was excellent, as usual, and a very thorough examination was done. The cost was very reasonable. Both the dental assistant, Angela, and the dentist, Dr. Angel were both extremely professional, and very attentive to my needs. This was all done with very caring attitudes from both of these professionals. :) I have been to other dental clinics in town, but this one is the most professional that I have encountered yet. I greatly appreciate that all dental services can be provided in house, without needing to go to Ottawa for anything. I would highly recommend this dental clinic for all your needs.

First and foremost I would like to say that my visit to Seaway Family Dental was the best dental experience I have ever had in my entire life. I am 65 and have an overactive gag reflex as well as sensitive teeth and gums and a fear of going to a dentist. I have always experienced lots of anxiety and fear before and during any dental procedure. In the past I experienced ridicule and sarcasm which caused me to lessen my visits and eventually only go to a dentist when absolutely necessary. I can't say enough about the folks at Seaway Family Dental. Everyone I encountered was so polite and courteous. I was made to feel at ease and anything that was being done was thoroughly explained to me prior to being done. Dr. Angel was a godsend. He explained everything that was going to be done and his bedside manner was incredible. He truly cares about his patients and their concerns and does so by making them as comfortable as possible and constantly speaking with the patient and ensuring they are ok. I strongly recommend Seaway Family Dental to anyone who has previously had bad experiences with other establishments and for anyone who has fears of going to a dentist. Without a doubt they will take care of you.

Dr. George and his staff are the best!!!! He is amazing at what he does!!! I am extremely petrified of dentists and generally will not go to one if absolutely necessary. He took the time to meet with me and explain all my options. I choose to be sedated. He goes through all options letting you choose what works best for you. He breaks down all the costs and fully informs you of the process. He is excellent and listens and takes all factors into consideration. He is kind and caring and just goes out of his way for all patients. The dental assistants are so efficient they actually call you the next day to ask how you are. They were very clear in their instructions for COVID protocols. I called from my car when I got there, hung out there until they called to bring me in (less than 15 minutes), I came in, sanitized my hands, and was immediately greeted at the door by a hygienist who asked me all the normal COVID screening questions. As someone who has been very cautious, this made me feel very comfortable and safe. Seaway has been amazing at making me feel this way every time I come in though! They always check in with how you're feeling, who you would prefer as your dental hygienist or dentist, and if you have any concerns you'd like to address during that visit. The staff are always friendly and it makes coming to the dentist that much less difficult and scary. You guys are great!!

allergic concern from last time ... showed pictures of what happened ... minor reaction Bendrly took care of it .. assured me they would do everything not to get same situation .. went thru the cleaning and polishing , no issues ... may have been combination of things on my part and hygienist part that produced the allergic reaction , but nothing this round ... they took my concerns seriously and glad to see there group involvement to establish a plan to minimize it happening again.

Six out of Five! Came in today for the Dentistry from the Heart free cleaning, Filling and Extraction event. The staff are super friendly and are running the event efficiently, almost like clockwork. It felt as though I was a regular patient with a Doctor quickly determining whether you need a tooth pulled or not. Highly considering returning in the future when I require additional dental care! I had a great experience today at Seaway Family Dental. I have much anxiety and fear every time I go to the dentist due to several really bad experiences In my younger years. I talked about my fears when I arrived to the dentist and he immediately listened to my concerns and made me feel comfortable. All throughout the process he was constantly comforting me and checking to see if I was ok. A big shout as well to the dental assistant who helped with the procedure. Unfortunately they were both new to me and I can’t remember their names now. But I did ad use the receptionist on the way out that I wanted this dentist when I make appts in the future. I wanted to thank the entire clinic for their professionalism and approachability without criticism or judgement. After over 20 years of not seeing a dentist (due to a fixed but meager income);and after a lot of research I came to the conclusion that you were the BEST. I read newspaper articles, did internet research for months, spoke to locals and the name 'Seaway' just kept coming up. The fact that this clinic provides dental aid to those in need at no expense; says a lot about the Clinic. The fact they have compassion to do this annually says a lot. I know of no other Dentist or Clinic; past or present that will donate their time to those less fortunate. Although I have insurance; this was probably 'peaked my interest the most'...It's truly/literally about 'Heart Dentistry'. Laughing I felt a sense of comfort in your clinic. I saw RDH Robert who is a complete 'gem' and oh so gentle, patient, and understanding! I saw Dr. Andy and one of my criteria (compassion) was so important. I received this and more. Dr. Andy was amazing...answering all my questions to detail; without my feeling of being rushed because there were other patients--or the sense of 'time is money'. I didn't feel like a number or on a production line. I felt I mattered and my condition was no less important than another's. My own history involved volunteering for dentists as an assistant and two of my lifelong friends were dental hygienists...so I'm very versed in the dental area of expertise. Seaway Dental absolutely reflects that. I loved my initial experience and although 'anxious' due to upcoming oral surgery...I am still looking forward to coming back! The front/reception staff was very competent, wonderful, understanding, and patient! I know all too well the stress all the staff have to deal with. In one sentence: 'If true, competent, compassionate, qualified care is important to you; this is the only clinic to go to. It's really a 'no-brainer'...Seaway all the way! Apr 8, 2021 I do not like going to the dentist; that's an understatement. I just had my first cleaning/exam with Devyn and she is absolutely amazing. She is very caring and gentle and took my apprehensions into consideration. Dr. Abdul Yakan is also very attentive. I will definitely go back and recommend this clinic. Prior to going in I told my husband I wished this to be my best dental appointment ever; and you know what: It was!!! Update: April 29, 2021 I broke a front tooth filling last night while flossing. I called in this morning and got an emergency appointment today and Dr. Sandy and hygienist Shivani were able to fix it right away. Wow! no pain! This was another amazing visit. I am telling everyone who will hear it that Seaway Family Dental is an amazing clinic and all the staff I have encountered is friendly and attentive.

He presented the facts in lay terms. 100 gold stars for seaway Family Dental! I personally have never been one to be scared to go to the Dentist. However, when I had to get my wisdom teeth removed, I was anxious and afraid of the entire process including the IV sedation. The entire team at Seaway Family Dental was phenomenal from start to finish. When I had to fill a cavity the front desk receptionists made sure to book me the same day I was asleep for my wisdom teeth to have the filling done at the same time. When I went for my surgery the whole process was extremely therapeutic. The RT, and Doctors were extremely kind, informative and patient. The IV sedation was a breeze and since I woke up I've had no pain. When I woke up the RT was holding my hand and right by my side so I was not alone. I am no longer afraid of IV sedation or any dental surgeries of any kind. I would 100% recommend this team to anybody who is afraid of the Dentist and having dental surgery. A phenomenal experience. I called seaway family dental on montreal road in Cornwall Ontario. My wife had a loose back too that had just happened. We were lucky there was an opening on Saturday morning. The receptionist on the phone was excellent. Then we get down there wow was i surprised what a friendly place. The dentist asssistant came out a got us my wife was nervous so she ask if i could goi in with her and that was not a problem. Very compassionate and caring place. The dentist was also excellent took my wife tooth out made her stay 10 minutes after to make sure she was ok before he sent her home. Now if this is not looking out for the patients welfair i do not know what is then. Then we go pay the bill and did not try to make another appointment for anything else. This is a bussiness that is all about the patients health not about the dollar. I am a cridic about bad service in Cornwall but with this place there is not one bad thing i can say about this place from start to finish. If you are looking for a dentist office that is compassionate caring and friendly then i highly recommend this place you will love the excellent service. They make you feel li9ke you are family not just a dollar sign. I was so impressed i had to write this review so other could read this and help them make a decission. The absolute best dentist I've ever been to in my life. I needed a ton of work. I've had everything from extractions to crowns to fillings done. The first time in my lfe I've never experienced any pain at a dentists office. Dr. George and all of the staff are great. I have a huge fear of dentists like no other the mere thought, the smell, the sounds would make my stomach tie up in knots every time. I walked in to Seaway Family Dental many years ago to see Dr. George armed with my music, headphones and sweaty palms. The staff were beyond kind and compassionate; they went out of their way to ensure I felt safe and comfortable. They really made me feel, as well as my feelings, were a priority in all the many visits I went to from cleanings to root canals and did so without judgment. I still go now after many years and so does my daughter and she loves it. I no longer need my music to calm me and my nerves are down to a minimum; there are no more white knuckle cleanings on the chair. I truly trust no other place and I know that every time I go they are not only helping me with my teeth but attending to my needs as a person as well and to me that is priceless.

Dr George is by far my favourite dentist and I have to say I have been to many .When I first met Dr. George I told him I was terrified of coming to see him he immediately seemed to understand and he has a way to make you feel so comfortable , he goes out of his way during the work to ask how I`m doing ,am I OK no other dentist has ever treated me so nice ...I have a big problem with my teeth and he understands that some of them have been filled a few times and its up to me if I just want to get them pulled instead of filling again ...you don`t get that from just any dentist most of them want to make sure they fill them for the money ...Yes I can`t say enough good about my favourite dentist Dr. George I recommend very highly and I don`t freak out every time I have to go any more..So don`t be scared to make an appointment everyone is super nice from the girls in the front to the hygienist Heather they are all caring and do an excellent job .!!!!.
