I have been going to Dental Arts for the last 15 (ish) years. Great service starts at the front desk with receptionists that are kind, funny, and always accommodating to the best of their ability. The hygienists have always done an amazing job to keep my pearly whites just that, and will advise on general improvements to my hygiene routine. And then there's Dr. B. I've had some extensive work sitting in his chair and he is always great. Tons of numbing (I am a wimp), ongoing communication as to what he is doing or will need to do, and always quality work. Considering his profession (lol) he's a great guy!

The Dental Arts Clinic is a fantastic spot. The receptionists are always friendly and helpful and Dr. John Boitsefski is very professional. I've never had any trouble with the dental work I've had done there.

Not impressed, they went over my dental plan twice costing me a lot of money out of pocket each time even after having a discussion about what work was to be done with the receptionist during the previous visit both times . Needless to say there won't be a third time, neither me or my wife will be going back there again.(reply to reply below) my wish is to have my dental work covered by my plan that's what the plan is for. My dental health is not a emergency and doesn't have to be done all one time and the issue is not with my coverage or my insurance company.It was your receptionist who suggested that I'd come in and use up the remainder of my plan during the previous visit and that's what I was suppose to be booked in for nothing more and if your going to do more work than agreed upon then you should inform your patients . I have never had this issue with any other dentist that I have been to .

Secretary was rude , hung up the phone without saying goodbye when I said I’d call back for an appointment time . I will not be calling her back she turned me from that dental practice .

Best Dentist in town!!!!! By far the best for accommodating his patients for emergency appointments and even takes the extra effort many times to follow up to make sure clients are feeling well after big procedures! Great service from everyone in this establishment! Highly recommend!!!

I've been here 4 times. Mostly for cleanings. The dental hygenist I saw was good but rude receptionists. The 4th time needed a filling and was told it was on the surface and would not require freezing...I've never had a cavity filled without freezing but trusted him to do his job. He drilled into my tooth and hit what I assume to be a nerve causing serious pain and told me to hold still when I couldn't take the pain. I demanded freezing or I was leaving and they finally froze the hell out of my whole face somehow right to my forehead and sloppily filled a cavity that probably didn't exist. The filling fell out a month later. This guy is a criminal.

I loved the service and how they know how to treat today’s youth no matter what age or race. Carful service and perpercise fixings, With the overall spirit of the workers and getting it done quicker than I’ve ever had it done before I’d rate it a five out of five!. Oh and I’m aboriginal (Qualipu Nations) And this second rate service shart is a lie! I for one got percise service!,

Best dentist around, very clean and professional ! Takes the worry out of going to the dentist. Very respectful staff who always take your needs into consideration especially in an emergency ! HIGHLY recommend.

Very unprofessional dentist. Had a tooth pulled and he didn't say a word to me or awnser my couple questions; just came in numbed it a little, but not enough, cracked it and pulled. For a week I had a peice of tooth stuck there and they told me there was no way it was tooth... they finally let me come back and sure enough it was a peice left, the dentist was mad about it took it out and left without a word again.

me along with many other patients ( see the WebMD reviews) have felt excruciating pain when getting dental work. go anywhere else. No, I am not a current client. This was quite some time ago, but doesn't change the facts. Perhaps your record keeping could use some work as well.

Dr. John B. I have dental insurance from First Nations(Qalipu). I found that Dr. John Boitsefski did a less than second rate job with my teeth. A year and a half ago I needed a filling on my lower eye tooth. Within a two month period (July and August 2014), I lost four fillings in the tooth that was supposed to have been repaired by Dr. John. I was in Goose Bay, September 2014 when the fourth filling came out. I went to another dentist, Dr. Hem Gosala in Goose Bay as an emergency. He could not understand why I had lost 4 fillings and shook his head when I told him the situation. He repaired the tooth that cost me $192.00 and the filling is still there! I don't get it, Dr. Boitsefski, do you give second rate service to aboriginals? Are you on a two tier system? Forgot to mention that there are NO records of the 4 lost fillings as I checked with the receptionist. Funny thing. However, I have no doubt that Dr. John does a good job for people paying up front or who are on regular insurance. I was wondering if there are other people out there in the same situation? I moved to Corner Brook over a year ago. I sill have yet to find a family doctor or dentist here so when I need a prescription refilled I have to go to outpatients and wait for hours on end for a little piece of paper and the doctor to see me for all of 2 seconds and same goes for when I'm having trouble with my teeth. The past couple weeks I've been having trouble with my front tooth and one of my wisdom teeth. This weekend it started acting up again to the point where I was up all Sunday night, crying in pain. I get up today, tears in my eyes from pain, look up some emergency dental services available in Corner Brook and I come across this one, Dental Arts Clinic on Broadway. I go to their website and read up on all the services they provide. One in particular caught my eye: emergency treatment. I continue to read on about how Dr. B will make every effort to see you that day if you are in pain. With this information, I call the office, explain my situation while practically crying in pain on the phone, and the seceratary gave abosuletly no remorse and simply said, and I quote.. " For pain there's nothing we can do for you we are booked until the end of June." I explained I can't wait that long and I'm in an excessive amount of pain and ask if there is anything they can do or I can do or can they refer me to someone. She replies "Try here but we can't do anything. Bye." Needless to say, I'm not very pleased with the service. Or the fact that you have false advertisement.

Was very rude services. While being in the chair a piece of tooth almost was going down my throat, there was no tools near my mouth when I put my finger there to try and remove this, and then the dentist pretty much yell at me for doing so. Was uncalled for. And they also don't use enough numbing medication but you'll definitely still be charged. If getting a tooth out, go elsewhere, or expect to feel it.
