I hate going to the dentist and put it off until I absolutely HAVE TO go in. But Dr. Fremit is friendly, has a great sense of humour and put me at ease right away. Dr. Irvim Fremit is an excellent dentist. I have lived in Chilliwack for years and recently switched dentists went i had a root canal and some other cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Fremit was gentle, stepped me through the entire process and was a pleasure to visit. I would recommend this chilliwack dentist to anyone.

Had a lower left molar break and a quarter of it was gone. Managed to get an appointment with Dr. Kwong and he was excellent.... offered freezing even though pain was not a huge problem and I decided to go with freezing. He had no issue with that. After about 10 minutes of letting the freeze take hold the work began with a very efficient assistant and Dr. Kwong doing the repair. Very happy with the result and comfort level.

Great staff, have been going there my whole life and it keeps on getting better. Dr. Fremit is a pro. I try not to get cavities but when I do, he gives a needle so well I find I'm waiting for the poke and it's already done. Hygienists are professional and skilled, always feel like they've done a thorough job and given me good advice. Reception are friendly, quick, and accurate, always accommodating when booking appointments. The team there make a trip to the dentist a little more pleasant.

Dr. Kwong has been great. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to dentists as I feel my childhood dentist was quite rough. I am very happy with the care I have received at Young Street Dental. Today I had a small filling done and I left with a (frozen) smile. This is the first of a handful of cavities I have had done over my years where I didnt feel pain. Thank you for kicking my dental anxiety to the door.

I love Dr. Fremite, but his new hygienist Sarah is angel who has hidden her wings. I love you Dr. Fremite but will follow Sarah wherever she goes. 64 years of stress at the dentist and Sarah did not hurt me once. Nor did I have any freezing! That has NEVER happened. Not every. Thank you!!

Just had my broken wisdom tooth pulled. I, like a lot of people, absolutely dread visiting the dentist especially when you know you have to have an "extraction." The fear of needles and pain create a psychological nightmare. However, it has to be done. Dr. Fremit was very informative during the entire process. I didn't feel the needle. During the actual extraction I thought he was just moving around in my mouth. I didn't even realize he was actually pulling the tooth until he said...that's it...all done. Wow, fantastic. Can't recommend him enough. I'm writing this the next day and my mouth feels fantastic. Don't miss that broken tooth or the constant pain from the abscess at all. Thanks Doc. Job very well done.

If you hate going to the dentist, try this place out. The staff are always friendly and very professional. Dr. Fremit first worked on my teeth almost 20 years ago, since that time I ‘ve had several fillings, root canals, crowns. and even a bridge operation, and they’re all 100% after all this time. I like the way he lowers ones stress level by explaining everything he does. I have every confidence in recommending him to my friends.

Dr. Fremit is great. I’d give 5 stars but Reception loses marks. Judging by other recent reviews I am not alone. They rarely answer the phone. Their voicemail message says they WILL return your call (they say that twice), but they do not. So you have to call several times until you finally catch a live voice to make an appointment. It wasn’t always this way and I did notice a change in staff at my last visit. It’s a shame because Dr. Fremit is a very capable and personable dentist. Hopefully he will address it, as I expect he may lose patients if he doesn’t.

I ever did root canal treatment here. The dentist wore off 1/4 thickness of my tooth (without telling me in advance). my tooth bled a little bit for 3 days. From then on I scare dental. Until today I still feel pain from time to time. I don't understand why he wore off my tooth. On honestly I regret to fix my tooth here.

I started going to Young street dental more than a year ago. From the moment I walked in the door and saw receptionist.s beautiful smile, everyone was so caring and kind! I don.t have enough words to express how much I have benefited from their professional service. Not just a normal cleaning, but dentists and hygienist willing to fully listen to your concerns and comments, asking questions and making you feel as if you are the only patient in the clinic. Not trying to push expensive or possibly unnecessary treatments, but helping you to make wise decisions that are right for you. Fully explaining everything they see and answering all your questions. The dental hygienist-Bonnie cleans my teeth regularly and she is super-awesome. That is what I have come to expect from Young Street Dental, even though it has never been my experience anywhere else I have gone. This level of service makes it impossible for me to ever go anywhere else again and I am telling to everyone who listens.

Mixed review. Super happy to find Dr. fremit, he seems great from our initial visit unfortunately the receptionist (taylor) refuses to book us back in via email which is the communication method available to us during the day. Not interested in playing phone tag when email is a significantly more efficient use of everyone's time. Email also leaves a paper trail to easily refernece dates and important notes. This is 2021.... UPDATE*** We've sent 3 emails, none of which have been answered. I also made time to call twice but neither call was answered. We've decided to chose another dental clinic due to the poor communication from their receptionist taylor who btw was really rude to an elderly man who showed up for his appointment only to find out that he had the date wrong. We really liked Dr. Fremit so it's unfortunate.
