The people at LightHouse Dental have been really helpful! It's my first time visiting a dentist here, and they have answered all my questions from when I first contacted them via email up to finishing up my exam in the clinic. I like how concise and thorough they are in explaining what will happen in the exams. They did a whole xray, plus they do like the spot-type x-rays where they will analyse each tooth one by one. Throughout the exam, they were precise and would tell me about each problem I have in my teeth and how they can solve it. I also like how they ask about the history of my teeth, past procedures, and my health overall. Yes, I suggest booking early because they are booked. They are a life-saver in terms of their availability tho - the fact that they are open on Sundays and even on weekdays until 8pm enables me to visit them without getting time off from work. This is just my first visit but their service has been flawless. It seems like they're really experts at what they do and I recommend them to everyone who is looking for a new dentist/dental services here in Chatham. I cant wait for my cleaning/scaling next month!

The environment at lighthouse dental is professional and all the staff made the usual dental visit a more enjoyable experience than what i’m normally used to. During my first visit, the dentist had great bed side manner and knowledge that made me feel at ease during the process. I have a terrible anxiety disorder and panic at the dentist and always have. Dr.Jassi and I'm so sorry if I get this wrong but his assistant I think Jen? I can't remember and I feel terrible because she was so so sweet and kind to me. I will never go to another dentist again. The rates were amazing, I watched Shark Tank on Netflix during the extraction and they made me feel so comfortable and so calm that I truely may be over my fear of dentists. I cannot recommend Dr.Jassi at Lighthouse Dental enough. Such an amazing experience today thank you so so much!!

The experience felt like the dental office equivalent of Money Mart. Felt as though they only wanted my money, dentist was highly unprofessional and incapable of answering questions reliability. Also misdiagnosed 2 times and lied about scraping my gums and making me bleed despite confirming the scratches existance with a camera afterwards. Receptionists, decor and dental assistants made the visit tollerable but the experience overall felt sketchy.

I went to this dental office for the first time today and was not only impressed with the overall look and cleanliness of the office, but how new the technology and equipment they use is. The staff was incredibly friendly (dentist, hygienist, and receptionist were all very pleasant to speak to). When I asked about what was going on with my teeth, the hygienist explained to me everything and what the next steps would be so I was appreciative to have that given to me. I highly recommend this dental office, especially for children as well as it's very interactive and has entertainment for children and adults (tvs in each room on the ceiling, a couple in the waiting room, etc). I will continue to go to this office, and will be taking the rest of my family there! Keep up the great work.

I have found my new dentist! I love this office, everyone is so nice! I am use to going to the dentist and everything hurting and ending up with a huge bill because they want to fill and crown everything. Not here, it was awesome! The whole visit was basically pain free and that's saying a lot because I've never had a pain free dental visit before. My cleaning was thorough and I got to watch TV while getting it done and my hygienist kept me laughing and entertained the whole time and really took the anxiety off it all. I usually have dental anxiety and the fine people at lighthouse dental took my fears awayI won't be going anywhere else. I felt that I was treated like family. Wonderful experience.

Wonderful, wonderful place! I moved to the Chatham area from Toronto and had to give up my beloved dentist. I chose this one based on 90% positive Google reviews (knowing that 10% of the public hate everyone and everything regardless of what). I was NOT disappointed! EVERYONE at the clinic was AMAZING!!! Amy at reception is fun, happy, and welcoming. My techs (Christine and Annie) were super nice and very professional. Dr. Parsad was just fabulous! A great "chairside" manner, a fun sense of humor, and extremely good and professional at his job. I had my new patient exam 2 weeks ago and went back for a filling today. I have a cracked tooth that he tried to save, but too much is off for a filling, so I'm scheduled for a root canal now. I absolutely LOVE that it's "one stop shopping" (they do EVERYTHING) as I was run around the city of Toronto for my last root canal. Try parking downtown THERE! Anyway, I am THRILLED I found this place and have told all my neighbors that I know so far! Also want to mention the office is new and clean and gorgeous. (and they play CNN on the tv--which is more torturous than anything a dentist could do:) They offered me whatever station I'd like, but I chose to leave it on CNN for the above reason! The chairs are massage chairs, too! THANK YOU to everyone there for making this such a pleasant experience!

However, the care I have had here has freed me of that. The folks there are friendly, and reassuring. The work done is excellent, and amazingly, minimal discomfort. Top notch, in every way. I have 2 boys, ages 7 and 9 and they are VERY playful. Never did the staff feel annoyed or bothered. Rather, they created a playful atmosphere where ever they went and so the staff just joined in their fun. I LOVE IT! We need to have that fun attitude in everything we do. Oh yes ... and they are FABULOUS staff here! Go, you won't be disappointed. I drove for 40 minutes through traffic gladly to have my kids seen at this office. Dr Baig was excellent. I was suffering from tooth pain for a while. Came in again for a cleaning and advised Dr Baig that my previous filling may be bad and asked for it to be redone.. Dr Baig removed my previous filling and replaced it thus relieving the tooth pain. I feel relieved that it is gone.. Dr Baig made sure that I was comfortable throughout the process. I brought my 13 yrs old daughter here because I wanted a second opinion on work i was told she needed done. She had a few visits. Then we were told after an emergency she needed a re-root canal and a new root canal done on two separate teeth. Which would cost a small fortune. Needless to say I took her to another dentist to find out she didnt even need this work done. Just had 3 small cavities to be repaired. This place is about money. Not care for the patientS. Made up false work to try to make a dollar not only that destroy some of my childs teeth and cause her pain and stress that she DID NOT NEED. DO NOT GO HERE!

So apparently if youre on ODSP, make sure you ONLY need to see a dentist in January! They only accept so many ODSP patients per year, and once they've "met that quota", you need to pay out of pocket. Really? I thought insurance was insurance. And when someone needs a dentist, as long as the insurance will pay, what's the big deal? Called them to try to get in as have a tooth that has been bugging me for almost a year, and they were recommended due to my anxiety. Haven't seen a dentist to have this taken care of because I couldn't afford to go see a dentist. I am new to ODSP, so can finally have my teeth looked at, and they denied me unless I pay out of pocket. If I haven't seen a dentist regarding my issue because I couldn't afford it before, now being on odsp, how do you think I can afford it now? Moral of the story, if your on ODSP, either call them in January to make sure they will take you, or go elsewhere!

They explain everything they are going to be doing during your visit, so you know exactly what's going on. They also direct bill your benefits! Waiting room has a small area for children, and a big tv. Free refreshments are an added bonus. Highly recommended for your dental needs.

My 8 year old needed to have a tooth removed, scary on a normal day, added fears of gowns and masks and having to go to a new dentist... he was very nervous! Dr Jassi & Jenn L made this experience SO easy!! All of his fears were eased within moments of coming in. As were mine! It was made so comfortable for him that he not only wants to switch dentists. He also wants to go back and have them pull out his loose baby teeth too. If that doesn't tell you what kind of amazing treatment he had, I don't know what will! Very professional and polite! They always make sure you’re comfortable throughout the entire process. I’ve been multiple times the past few months and I never have any worries or complaints! Would recommend them to anyone, especially if you’re nervous about going to the dentist! After reading many reviews I will admit that sometimes it can be difficult to get a straight forward answer from the dentist. I have a lot of cavities that need work. Im about half way done and had a little trouble getting the dentist opinion as to which were of greatest importance, but that’s it. I got the info from him that I wanted and the work he’s done so far has been great. I’ll be going back to finish the rest of my cavities and fix the few years of neglect and smoking that my teeth have endured. I never feel a thing when I go in. Still 5 stars for me!

I called to see about an emergency problem and was told they had a payment plan. The first time I went in, the receptionist was extremely kind; I was able to see the dentist the same day. However, they wanted me to get a cleaning before we had even decided on a treatment plan for my very achy tooth, which of course would be expensive. No plans were made, but I was given antibiotics, no pain medicine (although I had been suffering), and told to return if the pain did not improve. The dentist mentioned that I might need a crown on my achy tooth; there is no way that this would have solved the pain, as the tooth actually requires a specialist, I've since learned. I took the next day off of work because I was in so much pain and called back. I was told to give the pain another day; they said to come in the next day if the pain did not improve and that they would definitely help me if this happened to be the case. I had to work the next day in severe pain and had to leave early to see if they would help me as they said they would. I walked in with an outstanding balance of $30, which I mentioned before anything else, and then I said I also had a few questions. This receptionist was quite impatient with me and accused me of paying late, although I had told the receptionist the day before exactly when I would be in to pay the balance. The dentist was not in that day, either, so the receptionist said there was nothing they could do for my pain, which made me wonder why I was told to come in at all if I was in pain. The receptionist also said, "We don't just give pain meds to anyone on the street," I suppose brushing off the fact that I am a working professional and seeing me for something else. After saying that I would never expect that, the receptionist then moved on and said that the tooth would need to come out or that I might need a root canal, which was interesting because, as I mentioned, the dentist gave me no treatment plan. She wanted me to decide on the spot; I told her I would rather discuss the problem with the dentist and said that I would also need to consider the cost, mentioning the payment plan once again. She stated that no payment plan was available; again, interesting, as I was told otherwise on my first phone call and at the first visit (not to mention the information given on their very own social media pages). I returned home very frustrated and in immense pain and decided to call my regular dentist the following morning, who was finally open after the weekend. My boyfriend was able to call Lighthouse and have the x-rays transferred; when asked why, this receptionist asked if there was a problem, and my boyfriend explained their lack of a payment plan, among other issues. This receptionist, again, had different information about payment than the others; at this point, it was very clear that none of them were on the same page. In any case, in an emergency dental situation, I required more support and accurate, consistent information, none of which I received. I've also been told that, after writing a bad review, Lighthouse will simply delete it; marketing seems to be their main priority, over job knowledge, patient wellness, and customer service. All in all, a very odd experience.

I had to go to the Chatham Lighthouse dental because they are the only dentist open right now in my area. I had to have an emergency procedure done and I'm very happy I didn't have a choice where I could go. My experience was exceptional. The staff is very friendly and professional. This is the first dental experience where I wasn't so stressed out. I would recommend them to anyone.

New to Chatham, my wife and I needed dental work, so we took a chance and called Lighthouse dental, just a short walk from our apartment. From the initial call we were both welcomed and arrangements made for checkups and dental work. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating and the dental hygienist and Annie were quite thorough and pleasant. Dr. Omni in particular is a special doctor. She is always concerned about our welfare and has done excellent work on cavities and crowns. Our dental health is important to her and we feel completely confident that we are in the best hands. Lighthouse dental is a great place. I had dentures made in Sarnia that never fit right from day one. They told me all my upper teeth were pulled out and they weren't. It hurt to eat . Could not wear them and paid 5000.00 for them. Went to Lighthouse dental and what an awesome experience from the front staff to the dentist and the dentist. They fixed everything. I found Light House dental, Chatham, a great place, than any other place I visited before. Throughout the treatment cycle, which is from the very beginning making an appointment call till leaving the place after the treatment. The welcoming reception folks are wonderful, they are fast and value our time. Coming to the treatment lab, assistance, dental techs worked well for my issues. I am completely satisfied with Dr. Baig's treatment, I found he is an experienced professional with a friendly deminer. The only drawback I found is there are no dental spittoon attached to the dental chair (No idea is it due to covid or not)

Amazing doctors and staff. I have never felt more comfortable and taken care of at a dentist in my 64 years before. At a time of social distancing, they took me on as a new patient to help with my tooth pain. With physical disabilities and an overactive gag reflex, I am not an easy patient but they never made me feel like I was difficult. Extra procedures were required and they took the time to ensure that I was comfortable and taken care of. Thank you and I will certainly be back with my husband when life returns to more normal and would gladly recommend this practice to anyone.

I am over 18. I went in January to get a checkup found out I had 3 cavities that needed filled. I got them filled and paid my 20% Co payment fee. I guess some issues regarding my insurance occured and instead of calling me which was the only numbers they were given, they called my father and my mother not me! I came in to get a cleaning and get 1 of my filling checked since I had pain. They spent the whole appointment telling me the filling is fine to the point where the cleaning never got done. Then I went again a month later for a cleaning and a consultation on my jaw the dentist, once again forgot to do the cleaning, poked my jaw twice gave me a referral and charged me 130 dollars. I came in a month later October 27th for a cleaning and an examination. The cleaning got doneish and when the dentist came in he once again got caught up on the filling pain I was complaining about and when I asked him if I had any cavities he said no. The last dentist told me I had two on watch. So they booked me again tonight and I was supposed to see a new dentist but it ended up being the first dentist. I went in and he was defending his work since he did the filling. Itold him I don't care about the filling just tell me how many cavities I have and he kept going off about the filling. He was all offended that I had an issue with the filling. His dental assistant sitting there sighing like I'm one of those bad customers that just complain about everything. I work in customer service, I know that sigh. I told him to forget about the filling and tell me how many cavities I have. And he ignored me and kept talking about how wrong I was about the filling. So I walked out. Now I have a new appointment with the dentist I should have been with today. I was going to give this a 1star but the receptionists were all very nice.

Dentophobia is the Extreme fear of dentists. For a portion of the population this is a real thing. That also can means for some of us we have constant dental pain , never smile and avoid pictures. When we are forced to see a dentist ( pain driven) it usually means embarrassment because now I have to let someone else see my teeth. We tend to just not go and avoid the embarrassment. Well my fellow sufferers we no longer have to live like this! Lighthouse Dental is the place to go. The staff here are extremely nice and compassionate and don’t make you feel bad. My fellow sufferers know what I am saying, the looks, the speeches, the other staff not working with you coming in to check on something, or the look on the receptionist face when you are leaving ????. Please don’t suffer any more as Lighthouse Dental is the place for US. I am not saying I am excited to go to a dentist but I know here I will be treated with respect not to mention the great work they do. Thank you for being here.

I just had three teeth extracted. I am probably one of the most high anxiety people for going to the dentist. The staff there are top notch. I was given gas and they did not start the procedure until I let them know I was fully comfortable. As soon as I felt anything uncomfortable during the procedure, they immediately stopped and talked with me until I felt ready again. They consistently explained everything they were doing and asked if I felt all right. At the end, they explained the billing would be less then originally quoted because there were no complications. I would highly recommend them. Thank you again for making my procedure as easy and painless as possible.
