DO NOT waste your time here. I have truly never, ever experienced such terrible customer service, especially from a healthcare office. Expect to be talked down to (by the main receptionist, Emily) and wait a long time for appointments. The phone is never answered, and they only rarely return calls. I was initially told I would have Invisalign scan results back after 2 weeks, and after waiting 3 months, I finally got fed up and left. The receptionist then refused to pass on those records to our new dentist so I had to start all over again. Dr. Kim is great but I would never recommend this office to anyone. I also find it interesting that two of their staff (Emily and Emma) have reviewed with 5 stars. Isn't that a conflict of interest?

Please don't go to this dentist he doesn't know anything. It is better to take ibuprofen which he would suggest you at the end.I was about to lose my tooth if i didn't go to another dentist. I knew what my body tells me. I was feeling i had inflammation on my tooth but he said no, i had pain due to grinding he shortened my tooth (instead of suggesting mouthguard) and asked me to take 800mg ibuprofen every 8 hours. I would be fine in 2days. I went back with more pain after 2 weeks (my schedule appointment) he told me my tooth moved up (it is a sign of inflammation) he shortened my tooth more, again asked me to take ibuprofen i would be fine in 2days. (also he said there was nothing he could do for grinding pain which i have been grinding at sleep for many years) one morning got up with huge abscesses. Luckily i had appointment with another dentist on that day. She took xray and saw all my teeth had inflammation(spread from the one to other in couple weeks) now i feel good after seeing my new dentist. Again don't go to see this dentist for the sake of your tooth health

Did my check up there after one year. Always good service and nice customer service. In terms of quality, the dentist makes you feel comfortable while he does his job and he even gives you a kit to protect your teeth.

I used to love this dentist but I cannot recommend them any longer. I have never, in my life, encountered ruder and less considerate support staff anywhere. I will not be back.

This dentist used to be great but now he has a hygienist do all the work. He looked at my teeth for about 10 seconds - and I'm not exaggerating. The hygienist hurt my mouth pretty badly too. I went here for years but I won't be going back again. I don't know what's going on there but things have really gone downhill.

Excellent patient care and dental work! Dr. Soloman goes above and beyond to make sure her patients are taken care of and comfortable. Couldn't be happier to have her and her team taking car wife my family!

Completely ignored my tooth problems. Said they were fine when had of my tooth had chipped off and had become infected. Had to miss a week of work, switched dentists and they had to take my tooth out right away. Don’t waste your time or money going to this dentist. Literally anywhere else but here and you will be fine.

Always a pleasant and professional time at this office. From the front desk to the dentist and everyone in between, everyone is respectful, kind and courteous with nothing but the best treatment provided to patients. They care very deeply for their patients and the treatment that is necessary for us.

Took my mother here for an assessment when she had a broken/painful tooth. She advised the dentist (Dr. Solomon) that the teeth could not be touched due to the pain and informed her of her severe dental anxiety (which this office advertises that they deal with). My mother was cooperative with visual assessment, but when the dentist started to touch without explaining what she was doing, my mother became upset and reminded her not to touch the tooth causing the pain. The dentist threw her hands in the air and said "well, what do you want me to do if you won't even let me assess you?" which immediately destroyed any trust that could have existed in the professional relationship. Dr. Solomon made it clear to my mother that she was not empathetic to her fears and discomfort and made no effort to remedy the uncomfortable situation. My mother left the office and as we were discussing the incident in our car (trying to make sense of the interaction she just had) the clerk had come to our car window insisting on payment. No ounce of empathy from anyone in this office. If my mother wasn't so distraught I would have argued the payment in the first place since they refused to provide appropriate care. I can't say much about anything other than the office's bedside manner, but I've seen enough dentists and have enough experience as a healthcare professional myself (RN) to know that this was unprofessional and inappropriate behavior from a care provider. Edit: we saw one of the dentists at the Water Street Dental Clinic in Summerside the next day and with the exact same steps and problems, had a totally professional and empathetic appointment and a referral to surgery within a few weeks. I cannot overstate how much Allen Street Dental/ Dr. Solomon should be avoided if you have any dental fears/reservations.

Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The dentist is transparent and will save you from spending $1,000's of dollars on dental work. He is conservative with treatment and got me out of pain and a night gaurd after 15 years of problems with TMJ. The dental hygienist is top notch, very caring and will make you feel comfortable.

Called 4 times in one day and they never picked up. Left a message and they never got back to us. On top of all that, when we finally got fed up with the receptionist they've dragged their feet on actually sending our records despite my partner needing an appointment ASAP. The Dentist and Hygienist here are great, but the reception is just awful. They're rather unfriendly and rarely helpful.

PEI Islander

Horrible service, all they are looking for is money! Not interested in providing good dental care and want to perform a lot of unnecessary and expensive procedures! Used to love this dentist before it changed owners, really gone downhill since!

Samantha Toms

Outrageous customer service. The receptionist really needs to change how they speak to their clients.

Had nothing but praise for the dentist ah hadnt been to one in years. They were fantastic as far as i am concerned. Dont understand the negative reviews my experience was exceptional!! Actually recommended them to friends and familly.

Love this office the staff are super friendly. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!! :) Love that they focus all their attention on me instead of running to a different room every 5 minutes to check another patient

This was my dentist before I moved to another province. As far as I was told I had no cavities and was told if my wisdom teeth aren't bugging me then they can stay in. Well I just went to another dentist and was told I have SEVEN cavities and my wisdom teeth need to be removed ASAP as they are infected. I was also told that there's no way I got SEVEN cavities in 2 months (time between one Dr to the next). Thank goodness for insurance because I have about $3000 worth of work to get done this month. I must say the Dentist was nice but so what? I don't go to the dentist for this. I go to make sure my teeth are in good order so save yourself the time and hassle and avoid this place at all costs.

This might be the worst run dentist office. I called twice regarding my appointment and left two messages, they didn't even bother to call me back. Do yourself a favour and go someplace else!

Peter Gallant

Great dentist, she does great work and the whole office is great to deal with. They are all very friendly and every time I go it’s a great experience.
