Dr. DePratto is quite simply the best dentist I have ever had. As someone who avoided the dentist for 14 years, it's fair to say I am nervous around dentists. A few years ago I needed my wisdom teeth pulled and recently I cracked a tooth and ended up needing a root canal. These are two of the worst procedures I could imagine and yet I was comfortable, well taken care of, and was explained everything calmly and in detail. Dr. DePratto has such a pleasant demeanor, he makes every visit enjoyable. He explains everything he is doing and prepares you before he gets started. He's cautious but incredibly professional. He's adaptive to your needs and I couldn't recommend a better dentist!

At first very nice and professional, then they made a severe error on my 5 year old son and refuse to take ownership, literally blaming me as a mother. Then the true colours come out and they are very rude, disrespectful and refuse to give me my sons own dental records, which is our right under Hippa. Choose wisely for your children especially and go elsewhere.

Always a great experience when going to the dentist. I have been coming here since I was a kid and the staff have always been friendly and made me feel welcome. Dr. Fadden is always very professional and genuine and her team is always smiling. Aside from regular dental checkups, I have had orthodontic work done here and even had my wisdom teeth removed in office. I have zero complaints about the experience. I recently switched dentists and am very happy with the team at St Andrews Dental! I had a discoloured front tooth and was told time and time again by other dentist, that a crown was the only option. Dr. Abtah was able to fix the original tooth for a fraction of the cost, and make it look exactly like the others. I was blown away. Very talented work being done here.

All around a great experience - from the kind ladies at the front desk, to the comfortable, cleanly environment, and most certainly to the amazing Dr. DePratto - who is perfectly delicate and above and beyond caring in his work. Let's face it, most people sitting in the chair at the dentist are probably feeling somewhat anxious! I called to ask if I can get my loose retainer glue back in place. And the receptionist said I should go to the orthodontist that originally did my retainer. I told her that I got it done 12years ago in Miami, Florida. She was smart enough to tell me that I should go back to Miami, Florida to get it fix. I couldn't believe it, so I asked her again: Are you suggesting I should get on plane to Miami, Florida USA to look for my orthodontist to get this done?...The worst was that the receptionist said: Yes, you should do that because we don't do that here anymore. It would be easier if you just said We cannot do that, you would look more professional and less stupid. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

I have been going to St Andrews Dental for about 5 years now. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Whenever i have an emergency i am seen immediately, i have had 3. I even took my 18 month granddaughter in to teach her that going to the dentist was a safe place. It is a very calming atmosphere and i no longer have white knuckles when i visit the dentist, they explain everything to you, from in the chair, booking next appointments, to billing. I have had ongoing issues with St. Andrew's Dental. They are extremely ineffective in communication. In the past, was informed something was covered, after the appointment come to find out was not. Today, I was notified 30 minutes before my child's appointment, they didn't have the materials needed for her filling. Thereafter, taking the day off work, having her not eat etc. Best decision, to finally seek out another dentistry. I highly recommend to find another dentist for your family.

If you are looking for a state of the art dentistry who also really care, this is the place! Both Dr Fadden and Dr Mayring are amazing. Anytime I’ve had an emergency, Ive been able to see someone within the hour. Myself and my children have been going to St Andrews for 10yrs and I have built a great trust with the entire staff. My youngest was scared for her first cavity and Dr Mayring did everything he could to put her at ease. As a new customer went in for a tooth extraction, with no insurance coverage , they were very reasonable with a rather complicated situation. Seen Dr deprotto a few times , as well as Dr mayring and Kara when I went back for another assessment after having tooth pulled. Was super happy with service and pricing , would recommend to anyone with or without benefits .

Very rude staff. I parked and as soon as I get out of my car one of the dentists (I’m assuming she was because she was driving a Mercedes) laid into me about me being able to park there. I was going to sign up with them but if that’s how they treat people you can forget it. She was very condescending. Then I go in to see if they’re taking new patients and the staff just acted like I wasn’t there. I was standing at the front desk and they just continued they’re conversation without so much as a hello. So I just walked out and took my business elsewhere which I recommend to everyone.

It took me over 12 years to find a good, trustworthy dentist in Cambridge. After trying 5 different places over the years and many traumatic experiences and horrible dentist work I took my chances on St Andrews Dental based on reviews I had read from other community members. I have Dr. Mayring and I couldn't be happier with my experiences with him. He's very genuine, honest and kind. He's very personable and picks up the conversation where you left off the last time, even if it's been many months which shows me he takes an interest in who I am as a person, I'm not just a number... I feel he actually cares to know his patients which means alot to me. I've had those dentists in the past that are like the shady mechanic we've all experienced at least once and coming to St Andrews is like a big sigh of relief, I know I'm in good hands. His dental assistant Vanessa is like your best friend right away, she's so sweet and has such amazing energy to her, she's very welcoming right away and again, I have to describe her as very genuine! I'm actually excited to go to my dental appointments, it's like catching up with old friends. The hygienists I've had have all been fantastic as well, I couldn't be happier with everyone at St Andrews, shout out to the ladies at the desk too!

My family and I have gone to this dentist for years. Never had any issues. They are good for routine dental work. DO NOT waste your money on orthodontic work here. Go to a real orthodontic clinic. Wish we had and will be doing so in the future. Scheduling appointments is very frustrating because they have limited staff that do ortho and the dentist always seems to be away. Not to mention that it has taken 2 sets of braces to get the desired results for my son. I believe the invisalign worked for him because the dentist had less to do with the treatment plan. Good place to go for cleanings, fillings etc...Not orthodontics!

St Andrews Dental has by far the friendliest staff. I am normally quite anxious heading to the dentist, but I am made to feel very comfortable when visiting St Andrews. The dentist, hygienists and assistants all check to make sure I'm okay during all procedures and even explain what the are doing and why. I highly recommend St Andrews!

Dr. Fadden is great! She is so kind, makes you feel comfortable and explains all your procedures in detail. This is my second time getting invisalign done because another dental office did not do a good job the first time, so now I need to start the process over and also pay the price all over again. I love how St. Andrews is so high tech (they have tv screens in the room where you can see a 3D version of your teeth at every angle). I have also only ever waited tops 5 mins to get into my appointment. I feel like they don't try to rip you off with pricing either which is what happens too often at dental offices now. I love this place!

Amazing experience! Unplanned visit due to chipped tooth. It didn’t look good at all and I was scared I would lose this molar. First, the response I got when called left me believe that I will be assisted. Sure enough, the team was able to set an appointment the same day! The lady on the phone did not want to book me because I wasn't a patient in that clinic and did not care that I was in such pain that I wasn't able to close my mouth...

First off I love their greeting on the phone; "St Andrews Dental Office, how can I help you smile today?" I love Keri the secretary in the morning, all the assistants are lovely and nice. Dr DePratto is so helpful and explains everything. Dr Grundy recently pulled some wisdom teeth from my mouth and he met with me the night before answered my questions made me feel a little better and then the next morning he really was very nice and understanding of my nerves. The patient coordinator Krista(I think?) is very nice too. After my family dentist retired in 2003, I've just gone from dentist to dentist and always left like more of a customer and not a patient. I will for sure be going to St Andrews Dental for hopefully a very long time. My husband is a patient of Dr Van Hazel there as well and we got introduce to St Andrews because they were the only dentist office who could take him for an emergency tooth extraction that some other dentist office in cambridge had booked with him and then called to cancel the morning of. So happy we found St Andrews Dental!

My father needed his lower denture checked as it was causing a problem for him. Being 94 they brought him in very quickly and all that was needed was a bit of filing to fix the problem. The staff was so cheerful and polite. They allowed me in with him as his caregiver which was super sweet as my father has cognitive issues and hearing loss. Would recommend this dentistry to everyone

I am the typical terrified-of-the-dentist person, but attended here for the first time and was so put at ease by all of the staff I spoke to today. Everyone was genuinely lovely and comforting, it’s been one of the best medical or dental care experience I have ever had. The treatment plan was laid out clearly and they were able to communicate quickly and efficiently with my insurance. I have some more appointments to complete my treatment plan but I’m not feeling the dread I normally do - I had high expectations going in based on the reviews I read and they were certainly exceeded.

i ended up having to get a tooth pulled due to them not informing me...despite my regular check ups. all they really seem on the ball with is collecting money . i complained for 4 yrs about a tooth they kept saying they didnt know....didn't refer me to a specialist till too late and even then it wasn't really pushed. money hungry and clueless.
