The dental surgeon had a completely different conversation with me from what the dentist told me and the staff were rude I found after I cancelled two appointments they act like teeth are an easy choice to pick witch ones to fix if ur on OW. When I informed them I wanna make sure I work on the right teeth they said “Why does it matter to you, you’re not paying” after a day before Telling me that OW only will cover limited number of teeth and since I didn’t wanna get my teeth pulled at 23 I had to make sure I did the right teeth, the dental surgeon understood completely but the dentist and secretary were not understanding what so ever.

My husband and I have been coming here for a few years now. After bad dental work in July from a dentist who is no longer at this practice they have been working with both of us to fix the other dentist's mistakes and they have been making sure we pay little to nothing to make these repairs. We are now being treated by Dr.Baweja (both Baweja brothers because root canals are needed to repair some of the damage) I have to say they really know what they're doing! They do their jobs right the first time. We have never felt such confidence in a dentists work before. They genuinely care about the work they're doing and aim for you to be 100% pain free. They're not in it for the money, they want health, happy patients.

Had a very bad experience. Receptionists not very helpful, and seemed very unqualified. Made my experience very uncomfortable seeing as I am on CRB right now and they had no idea that public health was suppose to pay for my dental work. Would not recommend this place because the employees of Solar Dental have bad communication skills, and are not sympathetic of this crisis were in.

I visited this place for my mom's dental cleaning appointment because this clinic was known the best in town. Unfortunately, I would definitely not recommend this place for dental cleaning, if you would like to receive a 'proper' cleaning procedure. Flossing process was missing, didn't provide water to rinse out her mouth which usually provided in the middle of the process as well as the final step in other clinics. She had to go to a washroom to spit out bloods and dirts out and rinse. Never experienced or heard of this cleaning processes situation before.

Claims to do orthodontic work.. lacks proper tools to do so. I literally had dr.Neal RIP MY PERMANENT RETAINER OUT FROM MY MOUTH.. i had no idea he was going to do this until he was halfway through the rip-twist technique he applied. He twisted so much that one of my front teeth turned in. I'm not even kidding. My orthodontist only ever used a heat gun to warm the glue and then gently would pry off the retainer to do routine maintenance when needed. Dr. Neal only wanted to remove the retainer so his hygienist would have an easier time cleaning my teeth. HE LEFT THE GLUE BACK THERE!!! And said "we'll get it next cleaning" uuuumm DOCTOR THE GLUE DOES NOT COME OFF THAT EASY OR ELSE THE GLUE WOULD HAVE COME OFF WITH ANY OTHER CLEANING I HAD. You have to warm the glue to remove it from my teeth. That same exact day the hygienist tried to remove a white mark left on my teeth after 5 years of braces and instead chipped away part of my tooth and now it's even more noticeable than the white spot ever was. I'm so upset. This Kitchener office never got in contact with me after this visit 3 years ago..not even to mention another cleaning.. I'm wondering if they left a note in my file because they know how bad they messed up my teeth. I spent over 5 years with braces and spent $5,200 to straighten my teeth to have this "dentist" ruin it in one visit. I have to live with this garbage for the rest of my life THANKS A LOT!!!!

I am very DISAPPOINTED with the filling was done by Dr Chow , I used to get very mild sensitiveness once in a blue moon when I went for cleaning my teeth I was told I had alittle cavity on my left side and I agreed to do the filling to avoid FUTURE pain but after filling I cant eat anything on my left side I feel pain and very sensitive I wish I never had done the filling it looks like instead of avoiding FUTURE PAIN she ruined my teeth and now I cant eat on that side and my right side I dont have teeth to eat I am very hurt and disappointed I wish I had read the review here before going there I trusted the wrong dental clinic. I went to different dental clinics I was told the filling was too much and I had to remove some of it and they told me I have to remove the filling and do it again cuz it wasnt done right this is very inconvenient and unprofessional I dont understand why these clinics hire "dentist" who doesnt know their work.Now I have to pay again and go throw the pain again.

(Kid to adult)....but I had to eventually come in due to pain :(...my first experience walking into this establishment was a BREATH OF FRESH AIR!, Paula & Kristen are THE most down to earth, adoring & amazing ladies I have ever met..LITERAL angels of reassurance! & The dentists (Dr.) that assisted my needs were professional, kind & very quick! **Highly recommend Solar dental and Dr. Sharl Mozeg** I am extremely afraid of the dentist. Being in my 20's I cant remember the last time I had been to the dentist. After a small accident, I lost half my front tooth and was scheduled with Dr. Sharl Mozeg for all the work (crown). I have to say how amazing he is at doing his job. He knows exactly what he is doing. I was worried my front teeth would never look the same and he made sure it would look good. He took his time and explained to me my options. The best patient care I have ever received, you feel like they actually care of the end results. I am no longer afraid of going to the dentist. Solar dental is the best dental clinic I have ever been too. The staff is wonderful (thank you Jessie for taking care of all the insurance paperwork) I recommend the clinic to anyone that ask.

I had a full exam and was told I had a couple cavities so they filled them. A month later the filling had already fallen out. I just went to another dentist to have it fixed and they did xrays and told me I also had several more deep cavities that needed to be filled. Meanwhile this place said there was no more and I was good to go. I told my sister about this experience and she told me that her coworker went here and also had her fillings fall out after a month. The staff are very nice I’ll give them 1 star for that but they don’t seem to be very competent. I won’t be going back that’s for sure

1. Rude receptionist. When she called to confirm my appointment, she was like, 'oh I don't know how to pronounce that name. You have an appointment at ...'. If you don't know how to pronounce it, fine. But why can't you even ask? 2. Bad service. The dentist did not communicate at all during my filling. She never bothered to tell me what's expected next. No explanations for anything at all. Also, not sure if it's her technique, but it was significantly more painful than what I had before. Definitely won't be back again to pay for service like this!

This place is amazing! I came in for the first time today with a cracked tooth. I have an anxiety disorder and was extremely nervous. The staff here are amazing! My husband has call at least 4 times this week and noone has ever answered the phone. Even during business hours. All he gets is an answering machine He has left a voice mail on several occasions explaining that he is in excruciating pain and needs an appointment ASAP and STILL noone calls him back. The NEW lady that has done my tooth (root canal) had no clue what she was doing! I shouldn’t even be giving a one star that is how bad it was! I’m very upset had to be in the room for over 3 hrs 220-515 then she gave me a Prescription with HER name on it where mine is supposed to be! I didn’t even need a prescription never had one before for root canals. I’m very upset. Oh and mind you never was able to get a break, kept on making me get x-rays of my tooth about 7 times. The ladies at the front desk were very nice though!

The place looks nice but they are only there for money. I went in to get one thing fixed and they told me 12 things were wrong. They shaved the wrong tooth down and messed up the shape of the tooth, then talked to me using the dentist terms like I'd understand to tell then where it should be shaved. They just had to put their finger over it to know which one needed it and they didn't even do that. I've never been nervous to be in a dentist chair but this made me angry and anxious. Because I'm younger I feel like they tried to take advantage of that. The one main dentist I saw twice doesn't care about the patient just the money and you can tell. Dont go here.

The staff are very nice and most of them seem bubbly even! It was really refreshing to see. The office itself is clean. I felt the care I received was above average. Everyone I've dealt with so far is extremely knowledgable. My previous dentist told me I had cavities in between my teeth, but the dental hygienist at Solar took one look and told me it was just staining. Turns out I had no cavities at all! This place is definitely one of the better offices in the region.

Today for the second time I went to solar Dentistry on Fairway Road in Kitchener. I was so excited when I was having my teeth cleaned. After I get home and looked in the mirror to find that they have been cleaned the best I have had done in my whole life. They are actually White and I can honestly say that I have never had a cleaning done like that before. Very excited that I’ve started going there and I will continue.

I would NOT recommend seeing Dr. Baweja...some of the gum line fillings he did were not done to match the colour of my teeth, I could see a little off but these are way off!...also, these fillings weren't 'finished' meaning I couldn't floss right, there were rough edges, gum line fillings need to be flush with the gums and the rest of the tooth, well these weren't...1 or 2 of my fillings were bad in the sense that I couldn't eat right when I got home, they were too high so my teeth on the other side weren't coming together properly...and to top it off when he viewed xrays for 2 teeth he told me that at least 1 of those teeth would need a root canal...I didn't have him do those teeth because I didn't quite believe him (don't forget, dentists do make more money from root canals) because I wasn't in any pain so I had my xrays viewed by a different dentist and sure enough this dentist didn't say anything to me about root canals, and so I had this dentist put fillings in those teeth...please, please do yourself a favour and if any dentist mentions root canal, get a second opinion!! *interesting how the owner can respond to a 5 star review but didn't respond to any negative reviews...bad customer service right there!...please don't support this business.

Love this place! I went in with a broken molar. I didn't get an appointment until a few days after. BUT it was was quick for Christmas time. / New Years. AND the AMAZING visit made up for it. I am dealthy afraid of dentists, and taking care of myself (due to anxiety!) Hence why I was at the dentist for another (ugh!) emergency. The assistant and dentist I saw were so dang friendly and supportive. I just wanted to hug them tight for being super patient and awesome with me and my anxiety disorder. I'm very unhappy with the one dentist there. He once extracted a tooth for me which was just great but! when it came time to have fillings done he was talking to his... little assistant about how he's doing so good with his other practice and the dinner parties and new car etc..like I wasn't even there! The WORST bed side manner ever. Today I went for a broken molar and he told me to sit in the chair 4x within 30 seconds! I was trying to find a place to put my attache case down that wouldn't be in his way and tell what happened to my tooth. He didn't give a s**t about me and I knew for sure when he was grinding off the sharp edges of my broken tooth. He said it wouldn't hurt except he over heated my tooth badly when trying to get this done as fast as possible. He COULD've pulled the tooth right then and there but he had to make that extra $25 for removing the sharp edges(which took maaybe 30 seconds..and he didn't even check it to see if it was still sharp) and book me in for an extraction..which, by the way, he said would only take 10 minutes. This guy does NOT care about you or how you feel...it's all about him. I'm never going back. I went to Kitchener dental and the one girl there fixed my tooth that he was going to pull! My repaired tooth is still fine after many months. I wonder now if I could've saved the other tooth he pulled.

I don't live close to Solar dental by any means but I met one of the dentists, Dr. Baweja at another clinic a couple years ago. I would drive hours to see this dentist if I had to. It isn't easy finding a dental office or a dentist you like. I hate traffic but I will tolerate it easily to drive here. He has been professional, proficient, skilled and pleasant to get along with in all of my interactions with him. The office is beautiful and the staff is excellent. I have such a horrible time scheduling an appointment with this place. It's easier for me to email than it is to call as I work full time and after work I'm busy picking up my son, preparing dinner etc. It's just easier for me to email, but that doesn't mean I should get pushed to the back burner. I'll receive an answer back, I reply almost immediately then nothing. I have had to follow up 3 times now, I'm in pain and need an appointment, they obviously don't care about your needs. Might be looking for a new place, as I'd like someone who actually cares about my needs

First time customer at this place, I needed a root canal.. I was in severe pain. They got me in quickly, treated me very well.. the doctor was quick, painless and very professional. The only thing I would have liked was to be told what he was doing while he was doing it. But I suppose it's better he's concentrating on what hes doing, rather than talking to me. Lol. Do NOT go here for bonding! I now have a hole in my front tooth and the bonding fell out in less than a week. My front tooth is shaved down to nothing and is chipping a part. Don't tell a client you can do something and then ruin their teeth!! Im pretty sure half the 5 star reviews are fake too. BEWARE!

I don't usually write reviews but I felt like I had to warn somebody about Dr. Neal Bajeewa. I've always had a pleasant experience at Solar Dental in Cambridge however this time in Kitchener with Dr. Neal he treated me very poorly. He was condescending, talked over me, didn't give me a chance to speak about my concerns and was super rushed. The dental hygienist cut thru my gums under my tongue and now I have a swelling sore in my mouth. I went in with a problem to get fixed and walked out with another problem. They both noticed the scar and ran out of the room before I could say anything. Not professional at all! I am also pregnant, and wasn't cared for with kindness.

Worst experience EVER! So much so, that I registered an official complaint with the College of Dental Surgeons. My insurance company was charged for a device that I didn't need, the staff didn't know what was going on because proper records weren't kept. When I tried to get the correct item I requested, Mr. Baweja asked me to provide my email address so that the Lab could email me the options. REALLY!?!? The LAB would contact me?? Wasn't that supposed to be his job?

My 3 year old son had his first visit with Dr.Baweja. I wasn't able to accompany him but when I got home my son was absolutely blazing about his experience. My wife shared how everyone was so friendly and welcoming and how they made my son feel relaxed. He was able to get his teeth polished and checked by Dr. Baweja. For me, that's huge because i have nothing but respect and confidence in Dr. Baweja. He has done extensive work for my wife and is well measured with his approach. He is honest and frankly skilled with his practice. His bedside manner is topnotch and his standard of patient care is at the gold standard level.

Went in with severe pain, Dr Neal Baweja fit me in schedule and was able to see me. After a few X-rays it turned out I had to have a tooth removed. He offered me some laughing gas which really took the edge off and he had the tooth out very quickly. What a great dentist. Highly recommend to see him.

Firstly the place is filthy. They do not conduct proper procedures.To be honest they don't even deserve a 1 star Review. The girls working the counter have attitude problems. They charge ridiculous amounts for Dentist who hardly speak any English and to top it off the supervisor is a older cranky lady with a attitude so I know where the girls working the counter get it. I went there as an emergency with a serious tooth ache and the dentist ended up working on the wrong tooth. I asked for the old x-rays and new x-rays to compare and I had to go to another dentist to get my teeth taken care of. I would let even go there if my dental coverage paid 100% of the bill. If you or a family member need dentures, avoid this place. They took haphazard measurements and sent them to a lab to get the dentures made, which required several modifications, yet were still useless, did not fit properly and looked absolutely ridiculous on. This was last year. A complete waste of money and reduced quality of life. Condescending dentist.

I had been going through severe pain and this was the only place that actually knew what the problem was within seconds of looking at my teeth . when i first contacted them i got an appointment immediately . The staff is wonderful , super friendly, make you feel really comfortable ( which really helped cause i had bad experiences at other dentists before ; won’t mention any names ) They also did extractions for my wisdom teeth that were really hard to even see or get at but with only one pull they were removed with ease . they healed really fast and painless. For anyone who is nervous about going to dentist you have nothing to worry about while going here . Very disappointed with an attitude of this clinic to reimburse a cost of a treatment $457.00 for my daughter, while I was waiting for my Healthy Smiles Ontario card to arrive. Treatment was done 2 wks before my card arrived, but my daughter needed emergency treatment and I had to take her while I was waiting for the Healthy Smiles card to arrive. I find the attitude of this Dental clinic heartless and cold to help a single mother. I was 2 weeks short from being able to present to them the Healthy Smiles card, which I have now - thought they would be able to reimburse me. But they would not be willing. If you have a dental coverage (which once I had) and money, you are welcome, if you happen to be suddently in a financially unfortunate situation due becoming a single parent, there is no compassion and looking down upon you attitude. VERY DISAPPOINTED ! I don't think they understand any compassion! Won't be coming back.

My son and I have been patients at this dentist office for over 20 years. The support staff at the front desk are fantastic and very knowledgable. I have seen many dentists over the years and havent ever had a bad experience. I am however most happy with Dr. Mozeg with the way he takes his time in carefully prepping my procedures to ensure the least pain possible. After having a lot of dental work done from a very young age...I did not know that it could be so painless. I never feel the needle when Dr. Mozeg does my work. Since I always tell him this every time I see him and thank him for his care, I thought it was about time I share online. Terrible terrible customer service I have been going here for years I had not been in for a long time I got my appointment times mixed up I had two the first one I was 10 minutes late for and I was on time for mine. She immediately told me she will have to see if they have time for the appointments because I was late. I apologized and let her know I mixed up the times. I told her I will do one appointment because I do not want to push them back. She said they will most likely be able to do both. So to me I don't understand why try to make me feel negative about it in the first place then if not to intentionally make me feel uncomfortable or an inconvenience. I came with new insurance and there was a mix up on the insurance companies end not their fault or mine and I was embarrassed in front of other customers publically when I needed to run home and return to make the payment since I did not have my wallet on me she made the whole process ridiculous and on top of that I needed two separate receipts and she tried to accuse me of insurance fraud shen she has no idea why I needed two separate receipts will NOT BE RETURNING ever do not recommend their receptionist Lauren is so rude she ruined this whole experience for me and I will be looking for a new dentist. Everyone else is great. Literally go anywhere else. I used to submit insurance claims for my patients so I know that the service I was getting was not even bare minimum.

I just recently moved to the Kitchener area and was in search of a new dentist after discovering I had quite a nasty infection due to an impacted wisdom tooth. One of the first places that I found was Solar Dental. The reviews all looked wonderful so I made an emergency appointment to be seen. They we're able to get me in for an appointment the very next day. I had an exam and x-rays done and was told that my lower left wisdom tooth would need to come out. I was able to schedule an appointment very quickly after being given a prescription for round of antibiotics. Through this entire process I made sure that they were very well aware that I had severe anxiety not only around the dentist but in general. All of the staff at Solar Dental took extra care in making sure that I was comfortable and that I was well looked after and all my needs were catered to. This past Tuesday I went in for my appointment to have my lower left wisdom tooth removed. I had insisted on being given laughing gas and let me tell you they spare no expense on cranking it right up! The oral surgeon, Dr. Balweja, was very clear and concise in all of his instructions and made sure that I knew exactly what was happening as it was happening. The freezing process was a breeze. He literally had my wisdom tooth out and no more than 10 seconds. I was given a prescription for pain medicine, which my previous dentist refused to give me after having a different wisdom tooth removed last year. Here we are two days later and I'm in no pain. This was literally the easiest dental experience I have ever had. The staff are absolutely wonderful, very informative, and most of all extremely caring. I'm so thankful for the absolutely incredible service I received. I highly recommend Solar Dental and will certainly be returning!
