I worked at Dr. Holowaty's old office for about 4 years. In that time I learned that he was an extremely professional dentist with superb clinical skills. I saw all of his work and it was truly well done. He was very polite to his patients and his team. He sets high standards for himself and for those who worked with him. Every patient received excellent care. He looked after my husband on short notice when he was in need. Later I found a position closer to my home. It was after I started there that I noticed how much I had learned from him. I'm sorry that he sold his practice and moved on. I am happy for him that he has found a position part time in Cambridge, ON and I wish him well.

these guys keep changing doctors which badly effected on my kids, and make sure what 's your next appointment for, coz they might scheduled you for something else. Anyways, 5 years of space maintainer in my son's mouse made more damage than fixing.

The staff are truly a great bunch. The dentist there care about there clients. I got veneers done through the Cambridge clinic and couldn't be happier. For a dentist office they go above and beyond for the clients. The staff are professional, have a sense of humor and are fair. I highly recommend this location especially for cosmetic procedures. They really give there clients a million dollar smile.

Want to say ive never been so happy with a dental office, from the inside staff to the dentist.(Dr.Al) They Make you feel so comfortable and are just down to earth, great people. Angie and Dr. Mohammed Al-Hashimi are the best. Never had a dentist do such great work and take all my opinions into considerstion making my thoughts important. I've had some bad experiences with other dental offices but this made me actually feel confident again and for that; thank everyone of you. ☺ You all made my experince great and i absolutely suggest checking these guys out. Dr. Al thank you again, you truely are amazing. Your a great dentist and just an all around great person. I wish there were more peole like you in the world. I wish you all the best and want you to know what you do makes a difference. I am proud to say im with Altima, the best dental center ever!!!!!! Love this place and the people. I was referred to Altima Dental by a coworker who mentioned that they are very friendly and welcoming. After my visit today I can attest to this being true. Every person I spoke with was professional and friendly. Reception, my Hygienist, the X-ray tech, and my Dentist were all patient and treated me well. So far I am very pleased with my decision to start going to Altima for my dental needs.

The receptionist named Deb has a very rude attitude...me and my husband had appointment but somehow my husband couldnt make it so she refused me to see the doctor. My whole family goes to altima for any dental problem but i'll make sure nobody from my family go there anymore.

Just a Nice guy

First trip to Altima Cambridge after being a client of Altima in Downtown Toronto. Overall experience was very positive. COVID procedures were done professionally, staff was friendly and professional and the Scaling was done without any billing surprises which was nice. Only reason not 5 star was the lack of other services offered. Downtown I was given fluoride, polishing, cancer screening option and such. I should have asked but was so happy that my cleaning was done, I omitted. I am always happy and in a hurry to be leaving the Dentist for some reason. These services maybe COVID related, not sure, so don't want to be overly critical. Overall the experience was very satisfying and will be happy as one can be to return to this office.

Received an appointment almost immediately for a cleaning, The Office manager Angie, two dental assistants Wendy and Ruby were great. Enjoy going there they don't try to talk you into things that they think you need and aren't necessary

The office environment and dental procedure rooms were very clean and welcoming. Overall fantastic customer experience. I recently moved to this area and I plan to be a repeat customer.

After losing my dentist for several years, I had a few problems when I tried Ultima. My only regret was not going sooner. The staff is INCREDDIBLE and thorough!!! They a super friendly and understanding. They make me smile and laugh every time....it’s like they don’t have a bad day. Now as for Dr. Al.....that man is the KING ! He is very talented and his bed side demeanour is impeccable!!! He make you feel comfortable and confident. He sits you down and shows you the xrays with full explanations! (Being educated of any persedure is gold to me) and he not only listens to your concerns, but he addresses them! I have never had ANY doctor call me to personally check up on recovery as well as tell me to call him direct anytime day or night if there is any concerns!!! I’m not the kinda guy to write a review but this place is the best kept secret in Cambridge.

I'm happy to see the positive reviews left by many people and I can see why. The dentist is excellent and same with the hygienist. I've also had nice interactions with reception. But something is definitely wrong with appointment bookings. They needed to reschedule me and slotted me in the morning but I always need an afternoon appointment. Angie wasn't there and I was informed the next available date was in three months!!! I took the next one in three months since it was only for a cleaning. Then they unfortunately rescheduled me two times more for the same cleaning - once due to staff sickness and then for a staff emergency. I understand these things happen but I got annoyed when I wasn't contacted to be rescheduled. I decided to find a new office since I didn't hear back from them in over a month after their last cancellation. I found a new dentist and the new office contacted Altima for my X-rays and history. Hooray, I finally I had my first cleaning at the new place and they got me in right away too! Would you believe I get contacted by Altima asking if I'd like to make an appointment??!!!! What?! Someone is seriously dropping the ball over there. How can they not keep their scheduling and ex clients straight. Since Altima cancelled me you would think it be good practice to fit me in right away and not contact me more than 30 days later. No hard feelings but I'm off to where customer service is taken seriously.

We switched dentists because my son wasn't happy with the Dentist we had before and I didn't want him scared to see the dentist. We are super happy with them everyone is super friendly and do whatever they can to make us comfortable and make it as stress free as possible. If you are looking for a new dentist I highly recommend.

Front end staff is arrogant and unfriendly. The whole experience at the front desk is so unwelcoming. Dental Hygienist and Dentist are nice and I have no issues with them.

Do not bring your kids here !!! I loved this place personally until I brought my 4-year old son to get a cavity dealt with. Upon getting my kids name called the female dentist who came out and called his name had zero emotion in her face and looked at me like I was an inconvenience. I disregarded that and continued. We were both seated, and I began telling the male dentist why we were here to which I got a nasty “I wasn’t talking to you, if something’s wrong with him he’s capable of pointing it out himself.” (Reminding you he said it with no smile and an almost annoyed tone to his voice.)Woah.. okay. I ignored that too. They proceeded to tell him to open his mouth but he wasn’t sitting properly so, the girl told him to sit nicely to which he was not responding, so I tried to help (LIKE ANY PARENT WOULD DO) telling him to sit nicely please, which earned me an even nastier response again- from the femal dentist. “I’m talking to him. You don’t have to talk.” The tone of voice, the eye contact and body language I received from both made me so uncomfortable at that point, I picked up my son and without a second thought left. This all happened in under 3 minutes. Please don’t bring your kids here, this kind of treatment is unforgivable. You deserve the best of the best services when it comes to your little ones.

I live in Eastern Ontario and was Dr Holowaty's patient before he moved west to Guelph and Cambridge. I was extremely sorry to see him go. I had trouble finding a dentist of his outstanding calibre. At my very first visit, Dr. Holowaty examined the state of my teeth and gums, thoroughly discussed with me what he felt should be done to improve my oral health, made a plan and meticulously followed through in a most careful and caring way. My teeth and gums improved 100% under this Dr's care. In my case, he came along just at the right time and did all the right things to allow me to still have my own teeth today. I will forever be indebted to Dr Holowaty for taking exceptional care of me. As a bonus, he is a very personable individual and makes you feel very relaxed. It was indeed a pleasure to have been Dr. Holowaty's patient. I still miss him. I wish him well at Altima Dental Cambridge. They are lucky to have him.

Six weeks ago I had gone to Altima Dental for a tooth ache. The dentist took TWO X rays one for the front and than a bigger one for my entire mouth to show my wisdom teeth. The dentist explained to me that I needed to have all four of my wisdom teeth removed and a root canal on the front tooth (which was in a lot of pain). She reffered me to a specialist for my wisdom teeth and sent the quote for a root canal and the X rays she had taken. I am a full-time student off for the summer so I had to call the government to get "emergency" status in order to have coverage for these procedures. When the government does this I have limited time to have these problems taken care of before it expires. Altima Dental knew this. Two weeks went by and I heard nothing so I called the emergency dental unit and they had told me that they haven't received anything from Altima Dental. I called Altima Dental and they told me they only had ONE X ray in my file and I would need to come in to have the front done again. I went in and I explained they charged my insurance for BOTH X rays so where is it? They took another look and there it was and it was an acceptable X ray so no further X rays were needed. Altima Dental told me they will send the estimate for the root canal to my insurance asap and call me upon approval. TWO more weeks go by, I call the emergency dental unit and again they told me they received nothing but the X ray bills. I called Altima Dental again and they had no idea who I was or why I was calling. They finally found the referral for my wisdom teeth but NOTHING else. I waited on the phone until she could find someone to look up more detail. They found my X rays and again said they will fax them to my insurance asap. TWO more weeks go by ...(I am in A LOT of pain) I call my insurance and they claim they haven't received anything.... I called Altima Dental back and the receptionist ANGIE said she doesn't know what I am calling about as the referral for my wisdom teeth had been sent out. So I again explained I needed a root canal (the main reason for coming in) and i explained everything above that has happened how I am in pain and it shouldn't take 6 weeks to fix a tooth or send a fax or via email. Angie laughed at me....really she laughed as I explained I am in a lot of pain and it is silly they wanted to charge me twice for the same X ray.. .She laughed some more and said 'well it's not YOU paying for these X rays so what's the problem?' I found this very disturbing and I asked her not to laugh at me as being in pain is not funny or necessary at this point. She continued to laugh and say shes been in a lot of pain before too? than asked for my phone number I confirmed the number and she said 'okay' and hung up the phone. That was it she didn't explain what she would do next just hung up. I called back and spoke to the head receptionist jodie and of course they had nothing on file or why I am calling them and she said she has no idea whats going on or what conversations i have had with the other receptionist so again I explained all of the above and she assured me that ANGIE did not laugh at me.....so I guess I'm a liar and that didn't take place two minutes before speaking with Jodie? I have 3 days before my coverage runs out that started over a month ago. Altima Dental has been anything BUT professional. Very disorganized and very rude receptionist. I'm not sure what practice allows someone to sit in pain for 6 weeks when something can be done and I've also never had someone laugh at me 100% for being in pain and voicing that to be clear this is an emergency situation. I am hoping something can be done about this as I would consider this to be neglect as a health care professional and I have taken action and lodged a formal complaint with the ontario dental college association. Jodie did finally straighten everything out and has booked me in to have the root canal however if I could have gone somewhere else to be seen sooner I would have. I won't be going back after this and I would NEVER recommend this clinic!

Have been a patient at Altima for almost 30 years. Was in for a routine cleaning today. Manveen looked after me today, as she has for the past couple of years and I am happy she is part of the Altima Team. She has a gentle manner about her and is very skilled in her work. I have experienced discomfort with some hygienists in the past, but not with Manveen. Keep up the good work Manveen. Angie is always friendly and thorough with my billing and benefit processing. Will be back in a month for an appointment with Dr. Holowaty for some restorative work.
