I strategically plan my visits to accommodate my dental hygiene ;D Update: I'd also like to add that I appreciate that the clinic periodically updates its protocols (and explains them clearly, and always gets informed consent - I have no dental coverage, so everything is out-of-pocket for me, and I'm always comfortable with the decisions I make about my dental care). And I also value the online booking options, and timely reminders via text/email. It's a busy life, and easy to lose track of even Important Things. Keep up the good work, Sunridge Dental!

As a family we have been using Sunridge Dental Clinic for many years now. When I first found this clinic I was a very nervous patient the dentists and staff were then and still are amazing now. When my son's needed some more work done after Covid and their regular dentist had sadly moved on the staff helped us find the best fit for them. Taking into consideration my one child having high anxiety issues as well. They are amazing and have strict guidelines in place for helping prevent Covid risk as much as possible! I highly recommend this dental practice for the amazing staff and incredible work they do.

Very through examination process - they did an oral cancer screening & a gum recession screening which I had never had any other dentist do. My only complaints are 1) I wished they pre submitted my insurance to tell me what would be covered (ie it didn't cover polishing) and they gave me a better estimate of the cost of everything for the initial appointment (it was almost $700 and used up almost all of my benefits). That way I could've picked what was necessary at that time and waited until I got more coverage for the rest as I need fillings now and don't have enough coverage for them. 2) I had to go back to the waiting room between the dentist & hygienist and I had to wait for 20 minutes. Everywhere else I've been starts hygiene first and the dentist comes in during that. Otherwise everyone was very kind, helpful, & explained everything excellently!

Only 5 stars!!! If it was up to me I would give Sunridge Dental Clinic 500 stars!!! The staff are very helpful, and very friendly. If you need to see a dentist, but are to nervous to, Sunridge Dental Clinic is the place to go. The Dentists there communicate with you through the entire process, and answer any questions you might have so your anxiety levels are kept at a very minimum during your visit. I needed a lot of work done to my teeth which required many visits, and there is no way I would have been able to endure them all if it weren't for the professionalism and kindness of their staff and dentists.

Thi place is good. Dr. Sundhu is a good doctor with very good expertise. I have been dealing with this clinic for the last two years until I realized that they're focused about money than anything else. Before I even became a patient of this place, I have one major concern which was an implant of one of my front teeth. Because it is an expensive decision, I wanted to finance; so I asked them if they did finance, and the stated yes. I spent all my insurance money doing other stuff with them. When it comes to do the implant, they stated they can't do it. I was shocked to hear that because it was not what expected. However, they said they will refer me to another dental clinic. What I expected from them was to give me a referral that does finance. So, guess what? They sent me to a place which doesn't do finance, so I would have to pay thousands of dollars from my pocket instantly if I did not double check with the clinic before I went to the appointment. The worst thing is when, I called the clinic atfer the inconvenience, they blamed me instead of apologizing for what happened. As a conclusion, I would say that this place is fully integrated in deceiving people instead of serving them in the way they want. Do not go to this place because your money is more important for them, not you.

Stay away from this dental clinic. I took my 7 year old daughter here to treat her cavity. Two of their dentists recommended effected tooth removal and using spacer. They scared us by telling us that it will be infected soon if didn't make a decision right away. We came back and went to another clinic in calgary after few days. The new dentist treated her cavity and no tooth removal was done. I am pretty sure they recommended us tooth removal to make more money.

The dental assistants and dentists are quite nice, but I've had trouble following through with the same dentists in the last 5 or so years as they were busy or not there during my scheduled appointments. I've been misled from the front staff, had medical information not recorded or passed on to a dentist, had billing mistakes and teeth mangled due to a dentist wanting to "speed" up fillings. Although my experiences have not been the best, this is a decent office to visit and overall service is quite good.

The entire staff, assistants and doctors were super helpful. They took my concern of getting in to see a doctor right away seriously over the phone, I spoke with Maggie close to 4 pm and she went above and beyond for me and showed my scan to the dentist and got me booked in for 11 am in the next morning. My tooth extraction went so smooth and dr lee took the time to address all my concerns and make feel completely comfortable as he could tell I was panicking and had bad anxiety. Warning to Parents: If your child gets nervous or is scared of going to the dentist, DO NOT take them to this clinic. My daughter got nervous and began to cry when they tried to freeze her mouth. I was told to re-book my appointment and they would put her with a "dentist that is good with children". The staff knew from her previous experience she was not comfortable, but did not take this into consideration. They blamed my daughter for not being strong enough, and I was told I could not come back until I provided them with a credit card. I tried to explain to them I don't deal with credit cards, but they just talked over me and ignored what I was saying. The manager could care less and sent my daughter's information to a new dentist, with no apology. Every other clinic I have called does not require a credit card, so watch your statements if you have given these people your information, you will probably get ripped off at some point in time.

Classic nervous patient (bad Dentist experience elsewhere as a teenager and highly resistant to freezing) but the Sunridge Team has always been very good at seriously listening to and discussing my concerns so that my visits are much less stressful than they were elsewhere. They do direct insurance billing and when I needed some serious "catch up" work done after being unemployed & uninsured, they helped me plan the priority of the repairs that needed to be done and worked with my insurance to provide accurate co-pay estimates so I could budget for my appointments without breaking the bank. Very happy to recommend.

This place is a rip-off. They told me I needed to pull out my crown, clean around the tooth, then put in a new one. My new dentist said it is fine. They are the only dentist office I have encountered who wants your credit card on file. Every following they did caused pain for weeks, and the bite was still off on one tooth after two visits. They'll convince you that it's your sensitive teeth and you need to use sensodyne. I got a root canal at my new dentist yesterday, and there was no pain at all and today I feel fine. Stay away from this place. They have been the worst dental experience of my life.

Had a toothache overnight, called at 8:30 when the clinic opened. They were able to get me in for an exam within the hour and a root canal procedure the very same day. The dentist, Dr. Lee, was very pleasant and explained everything thoroughly. He made absolutely sure that there would be no pain during the root canal and kept checking in during the procedure to make sure I was comfortable. The insurance process was seamless and processed quickly. All in all a great experience for a root canal.

I've been to a couple of different dental offices in the last month due to an issue with a lower back tooth. 1 place couldn't find a problem and the other place said I possibly need a root canal or extraction but they weren't sure. I went to Sunridge dental and they gave me a list of things that could be going on and to try before committing to an extraction or root canal. Not only did my issues go away but it required no invasive procedure!! Even on my follow up appointment the information provided by the staff is excellent with them taking the time to explain things and not just grab your money and rush you out the door. Highly recommend this dental office as one of the best I have ever been to

My first time in 50 years of dental work a dentist installed a temporary filling and left it there. Had me come in for two appointments for partial dentures,then come in again just to tell me they can't do the work due to dental wear. I guess I'll have to find another dentist to finish the tooth with temporary filling after 3 months... RED FLAG....................................... So I had a tooth repaired by my insurance , dentist told me that it may take 6 weeks or more for insurance to ok the procedure, if root canal was not covered I elected to have an extraction done.. I waited two months heard nothing,finally my insurance denied my root canal but approved extraction,dentist never booked the appointment while I had insurance. You would think the dentist office would be professional enough to book the appointment and continue with my dental care. They have to realize I have 50% of the tooth left with only a temporary filling in place, why would a dentist leave half a tooth with a temporary filling when they should have called me in and extracted the tooth under my insurance . Someone isn't doing there job on follow ups and continued dental care in this office. Now they are contacting me to do a root canal 5-6 months later to make big dollars,when they should have just extracted the half a tooth under insurance coverage. Very poor dental / patient communications to say the least. After communicating with Maggie in length,they still can't own up to their mistake . I don't recommend this dentist any more,understandably.........

This clinic does un-needed treatments, and doesn't care about its clients. They tried to pull a tooth in my 4 year old's mouth without waiting for the freezing to kick in. Tried pulling it for over an hour with no results. And then sent her home in awful pain with a bleeding, swollen, bruised face and no resolution. We have since gone to a different clinic who has told us this tooth should have never been pulled but filled like any other cavity. My daughter suffered an infection in her tooth and gums because they tried to pull it and we have since had to treat that before we can even finish treatment on the cavity. If you want to be properly taken care of, DO NOT go to this clinic.

I have had a bit of a phobia about dentists since I was a teenager. Sunridge Dental was recommended to me by a friend and I went to see Dr. Parmar who referred me to Kal for cleaning first and told me that I would need some fillings which filled me with dread. I worried for nothing! The cleaning was incredibly comfortable and the fillings were done so incredibly gently that honestly I didn’t even feel the injection!!! I have no idea how Dr. Parmar did it, but she did and I cannot express how incredibly grateful to this wonderful dentist, her practice, and the amazing staff! Anyone who has fear or bad past experiences, you will be fine here in their skilled and capable hands!

I have never posted a review on any business in my life, but after my latest experience with Sunridge Dental I could not bring myself to just turn the other cheek. I was a patient at Sunridge Dental for about 2 years and received decent service. However, a few weeks ago I went in because the tooth I had a filling done on was hurting when I chewed food on that specific tooth. The pain lasted for months before I went in to get it checked. The dentist put me through a number of pain tests to find out what the problem was. One test where he poked in between the 2 teeth was brutally excruciating and he wanted to poke that spot again! I couldn't believe it. I wouldn't allow him to continue and asked if he knew could tell what was wrong. He said the filling was done properly and can see no reason for the pain. He even sought advice from another dentist that was there, and the both of them had no idea what to do. With no clue why the pain was occurring, the dentist suggested removing the current filling, putting a medicated filling in for 8 weeks, and then would have to take out the medicated one and put a permanent one back in. You can imagine how expensive this procedure would be...so I decided to get a second opinion from another dentist that I was referred to. The new dentist took one look at my X-rays and one look at the filling, then without inflicting any pain he told me that the filling just needed to be shaved down a little. After less than a few minutes the pain was completely gone! Thank you to wonderful dentist at Sedona Dental!! He also told me that I have some bone loss in that area and the other dentist at Sunridge Dental was actually hitting my nerve head on because of this bone loss. He then told me how I can prevent the bone loss from getting worse (something NO dentist had told me before). I could tell he actually cared about me getting better and not about charging me an arm and a leg for it. I think I have found my permanent dentist! Now, my question is...why are all dentists not trained to properly assess patients like the dentist I had at Sedona Dental. Or, why does it seem that most dentists try to gouge us patients when some procedures are just not necessary. I have never felt so insulted. It really upsets me that Sunridge Dental did this filling in the first place, turns out it was not done right, then they suggest a more expensive and long, drawn out procedure that would leave me feeling more uncomfortable and frustrated in the end. I am so glad I thought to get a second opinion. Needless to say, I cancelled my spouse's and my future appointments and will never ever be back to Sunridge Dental.

My Hygienist is Kal, she always makes me feel relaxed and never intimates me, if I am not keeping up with daily flossing maintenance. Kal, makes suggestions of what I could be doing better in areas where needed. Always a pleasure to have Kal take care of my needs, we usually have time for a little conversation too! Dr. Gunadi Wibowo, has been my dentist for almost the entire time I have been with Sunridge Dental Clinic. He has a great sense of humor and wonderful bed side manner. Way back in 2006, my aging mother was in hospital, she was also a patient of his, he took his own time to come and visit her in the hospital, where she tried to convince him to help her escape from the hospital.!!!! Edit: So I wrote this review two years ago and just wanted to revisit this and say I stand by everything I said here. I saw a different dentist who put in a permanent filling and have had no issues with the tooth. Not even temperature sensitivity. They took advantage of an opportunity and tried to lure me in for expensive procedures on a minor issue. Jammie (who is just doing their job, I mean no offense to them) can say that it was the treatment I needed but here I am, years later, not needing it. --end of edit Absolute scam artists. I went in with a chipped tooth and they asked what I'd like. I asked for a permanent filling and they made it seem like they'd oblige. Dentist got to work and, after he was finished, said that he put in a temporary filling and said I needed a root canal. Regardless of whether or not I needed it (I didn't), they took advantage of the situation in order to book me for another appointment I didn't need, and put me through a procedure I didn't ask for or want.
