The staff are very polite and respectful, the receptionists are nice. Buut, when I went in for some fillings they didn't fully numb my mouth and wouldn't let me have a moment to say so. As well as that, my fillings are terrible and I am still in pain from my teeth, which in all it cost $500+ just for an absolute fail. They're polite but when it comes to the work, it does not compare, I am unsatisfied and will be switching my dentist and I will not be coming back :(

The staff are really welcoming and friendly, I enjoy watching a movie or two when I'm getting my teeth cleaned or anything else, it shows how they really care about the patients. Hi I go to Sedona dental and they r all fantasies there. Emily my dental hygienist was so good at cleaning ing my teeth. She went over and above for me to make sure I was comfortable and understanding what and why she was doing things. She made sure I was educated and knew how to go home and do things right to continue to have great oral care. Emily is thorough and busy about her job giving the best possible care to her clients. Emily is smart and does her job as tho she has been doing this for years and years. She has a great sense of humor and just overall did an amazing job . It may not be my favorite place to visit, dental office is probably one of the places that I always try to find an excuse not to go just to avoid my old friend "injection". But after switching to Sedona Dental, my fear of meeting that old friend completely disappeared! Dr. William Truong is so good I didn't even noticed that my treatment is already finished. And Nancy (Dental Assistant) not only that she is sooo pretty, she is so nice that while being treated I am already planning in my mind to ask for another appointment for the next day aaawwww!!! And to top it all ... it's direct billing my friend! oh yeaahh!! Bruno took care of dealing with my insurance. I never have to pay anything. He is like... la creme de la creme of that place. Took them 2 hours for a 30 minute procedure. They are not ready to do a simple root canal as everyone is looking for whatever while your mouth is so wide open and you are drowning in your saliva! OMG! Plus I was asked to pay $255 as the 10% of the $725 total coz I’m covered 90%. Simple math it is! Very frustrated with today’s visit here! Everyone seems like they don’t have any idea what they’re doing! Get organized please! You are wasting peoples time! Just another woman went out the door swearing at them! If you suffer from anxiety over going to the dentist, then this is the place for you. I have issues with hands in my face and they are so great. I was able to get the same dental cleaner every time. And he always asks how I'm doing or if I need a break or to end my visit till next time. Always tells me what he's doing next and they do sedation as well. It's the first time since I was a kid that I have a regular dentist. Thanks Sedona working with me.

Even when I come in for general check-ups, when she sees me she is sure to say hi! She made my cleaning comfortable and very enjoyable. She is really personable and great! When going in for Invisalign, Sue is always a pleasure to see! She is attentive and ensures I am always comfortable. Everyone here is really friendly and makes going to the dentist a good experience. I 100% recommend Sedona Dental for all of your familys dental needs and for all of your personal dental needs. I Iwould especially Dr. Karkar and Dental Hygienist Auldhon (not spelled correctly). I went in for fillings and I was a bit late but called and the staff were very accommodating. I had a different Hygienist named Carlos but he was very thorough and friendly. Doctor Karkar finished my fillings and was very gentle and reassuring. I had Dr.Truong for an Invisalign consultation and he explained in depth about the process and costs and reassured me that should I have any concerns or barriers concerning cost that I could speak to him about it and they would try to work out a payment plan to fit my budget. I highly recommend Sedona Dental for all of your personal or family dental needs.

I have anxiety of the dentist and Dr. Truong is the only dentist I have felt comfortable with. He is great at what he does. I used to need sedation dentistry but now I don't. I have had fillings and a root canal/crown done by him. I will never go to another dentist. Currrently 3/4 of the way through my invisalign and I couldn't be happier. The office and support staff is great as well!

When Sedona first came to the neighborhood they were awesome. I had my first few appointments with Dr Truong, but over the last few years, every visit is worse. I expressed concern about a tooth, the filling fell out 3 times, and eventually at my last appointment to fix it, the dentist, not sure who he was, because every single visit is with a different dentist or hygienist, he says it may need a root canal now. They updated my x-rays, and I never got any feedback about how my teeth are doing. My last cleaning appointment the hygienist was on the computer half the appointment, and it didn't feel like he did anything at all. They tried to book me for a crown that was done 6 months prior. Another huge let down is how much they contact you to book a cleaning, and wait times for booked appointments is a little ridiculous.

I went in to get two of my wisdom teeth removed, the dentist and his assistant could tell I was super nervous about the precdure and they honestly treated me so VERY WELL! They explained everything in great detail, made sure I was comfortable and assured me throughout that everything was going to be “okay”. I honestly hate going to the dentist and when they asked me when I wanted to book again it wasn’t a second thought. I definitely will be returning.

I had a bad experience here once but this time around, Emily my new dental hygienist completely changed my outlook. She was kind, friendly, vivacious and had an excellent work ethic. She genuinely enjoys her career. This is the first time I haven't needed to be numbed for a cleaning and scaling session. She was extremely gentle and made me feel completely at ease and comfortable. I couldn't have asked for more, especially being 9 months pregnant. Emily definitely made an excellent impression on me this time around. ???????????????? Also, this is a very clean, pristine clinic. Modern equipment, very bright and airy. The hours are beyond excellent. Unlike most dental offices, they are open late hours during the week (till 9pm!) and also both on Saturdays & Sundays. Definitely will recommend to others now.

Such a friendly environment!! I was recommended by a friend to come to this clinic and i’m not disappointed ! I live almost an hour a way but it’s def worth the drive to this clinic. All the staff is so welcoming and so kind it makes me feel at home, especially since I didn’t like the dentist before but now I don’t mind going. I get my cleaning done here and i’m always satisfied. I believe the hygienist that did it for me was Jessica, she is super friendly and she made me feel super comfortable by checking on me along the way making sure I was okay. What I apperciate the most is, during your procedures, they inform you on what they're doing and the reasons why. Also, they show you pictures of your teeth before and after the procedures. Thank You Sedona Dental for a loving and caring experience. As a mom I always struggle when I have to tell my children that we are going to a dental appointment, but after visiting Sedona , the tables turned around . Through all stages warm love and care was always felt by the kids.The moment we walked in , the kids were greeted by the most loving and sweet front staff. After Alex the hygienist took them in for there cleaning . He was very warm and gentle . The kids loved him. He was also very detailed when it came to giving the kids instructions on how to brush and floss. After there cleaning ,the doctors came in and did a full oral exam. They delivered experienced care . They Pulled up my daughters X-rays and went through it very thoroughly and recommended the necessary treatments.At the end, the kids got nice prizes and electric tooth brushes. My kids are now counting the minutes to when to go back and get there fillings done. Keep up the good work Sedona.

Ok, so i`m a huge guy that is super AFRAID of the dentist i came in for a filling but the doctor advice`d me to get my wisdom tooth pulled out first, at first i was super hesitant and super SCARED but Dr. Karkar said that it would be quick and painless, at first i was like HECK NO! but after they pulled out a fragment we proceeded with the other HARD STUFF so it all ended with Dr. Karkar doing THREE SURGERIES, THREE! My goodness IT WAS PAINLESS! i cant even believe i went along with it. I was so relieved and super satisfied with the outcome, 10/10 would definitely recommend!

New patient at Sedona - I originally went to Dr.Truong for an Invisalign consultation and he was super helpful in explaining the whole process to me and answering any questions that I had. During my Invisalign consultation, he also went above and beyond by checking on the health of my teeth for me by taking pictures and showed me all the cavities that I didn’t know about (my former dentist at another place said I had no cavities and brushed my concerns off). When I came back to Sedona for my cleaning and half my fillings, Dr.Truong and his team were very professional and friendly. You can tell he genuine cares for his patients, as throughout the filling process, he used a camera to show me the cavities (all dark and disgusting!) and how it is filled and everything. I was so fascinated, shocked, and numb from all the freezing at the same time, I accidentally walked out and then realized I forgot to pay (very bad on my part). Anyways I let them know afterwards, and I will pay for everything in my upcoming appointment for my other three fillings. Overall, I highly recommend this place - friendly and knowledgeable staff, advanced technology, high on cleanliness.

The office is beautiful, The appointments are scheduled far enough apart that they don't book into the next patient's time slot. I had my canines and incisors filled and the result looks spectacular. The dentist is very thorough and non-judgmental, bordering on perfectionism which is exactly what I want in a dentist, and you should too. I've heard other patients in the office say that they love this dentist. They provide a television for you to watch while you're getting your teeth cleaned and there are some movies available as well. No high pressure sales here, they haven't pushed a mouth guard on me yet which says a lot. From the candor of the reception to the warm welcome of the hygienists and the doctor, Sedona is one of the business gems that is going to turn Forest Lawn into Calgary's next Inglewood.

I’ve always been nervous going in to the dentist, due to horrible service in the past. I came in to Sedona dental and instantly felt at home. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Jessica was my hygienist she was so through and gentle. She answered all my questions. I also happen to have a huge fear of needles. She reassured me that I would be fine. She gave me numbing to help my nervous. The dentist also helped me gain a better understanding of what was going on. He broke down everything in simple terms. He gained my agreement going along which is extremely important to me. Then, JT did my fillings. It was virtually painless. I felt nothing, it was quick and she also broke things down for me to help me understand. Overall this was the best dental clinic I’ve ever been too. Definitely worth the flight from Toronto. This will be the only clinic I go to from now on. Even if that means I have to fly 5 hours. You can tell they really care about their patients, they didn’t overcharge me In fact helped get the best results for a healthy smile within my budget. Which is extremely rare for a dental clinic to do so. This only proves my Point further. It’s not about the money with them. They truly put their clients first. Dr. William Truong was incredibly swift and calculated, removing two teeth, extremely (excruciatingly) close, to my sinus cavities - all done without rupturing them. What in the past, has taken a prolonged, uncomfortable, seemingly monotonous, amount of effort and time by other Dentists, was accomplished by Dr. Truong, within, not even 10 minutes. I didn't even feel the freezing. I didn't feel the sutures. The entire appointment was quick, painless, and performed confidently by Dr. T. Actually, this place is the best Dental outfit I've ever been to. The staff is extremely friendly. They're all so understanding and helpful. I was terrified of having my teeth removed because of past experiences, that and I was embarrassed by the terrible condition of my teeth. All of that was taken away by the amazing, courteous, I'd even say compassionate nature, of Dr. Troung and his team. They're very graceful, skilled, and understanding. This has to be one of, if not the best places, to have dental work done in Alberta, if not more. Anyways, I'm obviously very happy to have had this procedure done without my nasal passages being compromised or experiencing much pain, if any. Thanks Dr. Truong and Sedona.

I have frequently come to Sedona dental in the past for my yearly checkups. My overall experience with Sedona Dental was horrible and completely unprofessional. My first reason is that I had to wait an unreasonably long time for my appointment which I showed up on time for and when they did call me up the front receptionist was extremely rude and unprofessional. My second reason being that my experience with the two east Asian doctors was horrible, I was disrespected and the way they treated there female assistants was extremely unethical and outright disrespectful. I had one incident where the assistant forgot to give me glasses and the east Asian doctor yelled at her and horribly handled the situation in a way where I was frightened and the young female assistant was in fear. My experiences with the assistants & hygienists in the office was great and was a amazing experience but my experiences with the dentists was horrible. My third and final reason being is Dr. Williams the main dentist at the facility falsely prescribes his patients braces in situations where they are not required and he does this all for his own benefit and gain. One of my relatives is currently receiving treatment which includes braces & she absolutely regrets agreeing to this treatment plan and has caused her to fall into debt. She went to another dentist and confirmed that she did not need braces and that she was falsely prescribed braces. Thank you for reading through my review and I hope everyone stops going to sedona dental until they start taking their jobs and patients seriously. I highly recommend NOT going to sedona dental & if there was an option to review 0 stars I would.

Sedona Dental CHARGES ABOVE the dental fee guide, which caused me to have to come back and pay the portion my insurance company would NOT cover due to overcharging. I got an assessment of 8,000 dollars of work that needed to be done and my daughter was also told she needed braces. I ended up going to another clinic for a 2nd opinion and they assured me her bite was perfectly straight and does NOT need braces. As for me, I don't have the extent of fillings that they claimed needed done and I need a filling redone (Sedona did) just a year ago. The dentist was NOT impressed by the work. They are just a money milking tooth factory with no care of the patient.

below average cleaning job nothing special. I came here because they open on weekend and a new building. the insurance billing its set me off, same insurance provider at my previous dentist visit I never pay more than $ 10 different for regular cleaning and exam, in HERE there is always surprises at check out. ( beware they don't tell you prior the service if there is out of pocket cost ) my insurance cover 100% so I would normally pay the differences for dental cost in Alberta. first visit out of pocket $150 cleaning and exam. I did asked if my insurance would cover the service during appointment they said yes. when I check out I have to pay $ 150 and they did't notify me prior to the service. there is argument there that exam cost more because of the teeth condition, what a BS front desk Women. paid for it anyway. second time cleaning out of pocket $ 50. what the hell is going on here. I had enough with this place. so I decided to go back to my previous dentist, its little far and way more professional. they will always try to sell you Invisalign, so beware . and it cost triple from average in Calgary so if you do need one shop around.

They had over 10-12 people in the lobby during Covid season.. while it would be smarter to have people wait in the car. They obviously do not care about the person's wellbeing at all and just want the money. The services offered and what was covered by insurance was not communicated so I ended up paying more than I expected. If you want to go somewhere safe and cares about you, go somewhere else.

The support staff are very friendly, educated and always smiling. Dr. William Truong is my dentist. He is professional, strong on teamwork and a dedicated dentist. After 2 years of cancer treatments, my dental health suffered. He was very honest about my treatment plan and supported my plan to save my teeth. He works with you! In addition, Covid 19 protocol is followed from the moment you enter the front door. This made me feel very safe. The building and ambience is modern and esthetically pleasing. I can’t think of enough positive things to say about Sedona dental. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. They take COVID precautions very seriously as well. I have never been to a dental office where the dentist takes their time and shows me what the inside of my mouth looks like, including cavities, before and after their filling. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable during the whole visit/procedure. Dr. Truong ensured that my check-up was timely and was very honest and thorough, which I appreciated. the dental clinic was cool they give lots of FREEBIES. they are depriving costumers to stay with them. i stayed for a while cause the benefits of gift cards (walmart) i paid out of pocket but they returns the half of it through giftcards. i always go back everytime i need to fix my teeth like fillings. it always needs to adjust the bit. and in return they gave me gift cards so i dont say nothing. cool right. if u want money come and go here. but if u want quality care dont ever think about this place. tried and tested. i hope the Alberta Dental Association will know about this so they know what do they deserves!

Dr. William was also amazing. He caught several cavities that my previous dentist missed, made me feel comfortable during the whole procedure, and he was done in less than an hour.

Very nice and modern office! I took my 15 year old son to get a check up and cleaning done and they found couple of cavities which they were able to fix the same day to save me a visit! They lost some of my Invisalign aligners and didn’t call back when they told me they were going to. That’s bad customer service and irresponsible management. I don’t recommend this clinic at all.

I went in for emergency exam with Dr. William Truong and was booked the next day for a Root Canal with Dr. Dharmanshu Boghara. Difficult procedure went very well with Dr. Boghara . He was gentle and explained to me what was done when completed with before and after x-rays. As a retired Dental assistant you can trust that I would highly recommend Dr. Truong and Dr. Boghara for you Dental Health. Great Job!

Had about 10 fillings done in one sitting. They did an unreal job. There was a lot of sensitivity as the freezing wore off, that lasted about 2 weeks. However, it was not advised that we did all of the fillings in one day. I decided to anyways due to my lack of time of constantly returning to the dentist. (Not advisable to have that much work done in one go). However they did a great job. They will try to upsell you on orthodontic work and offer a pay plan. That was the only thing I was not a fan of. However they did advise me to use a certain type of toothpaste, which I have been using for a year. It works very well. Overall, I will keep attending Sedona Dental. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They also keep on you for checkups, which is important with having a busy schedule.

They are always trying to increase their billings with additional services. I always ask for a cleaning only, but every time I come in they ask try to pressure me into doing a full exam which I don't have the time for. The last time I was in back in June, I became so uncomfortable as the technician kept pushing it more and more similar to a car salesman. After the last experience I am not returning.

Not Impressed

The ladies at the front desk are nice but the dentists don't listen they only care about pulling teeth costed me 100 $ just to get a prescription form filled out for antibiotics after waiting there for an hour getting x-rays and all these other extras I didn't want or find nessesairy considering iv had this issue for awhile and cannot afford a root canal or implants

My girlfriend Tamara has started going to this clinic and she thinks they are amazing people. They go above and beyond for their patients. They have one dental hygenist named Alesha in particular who is the best hygenist we have ever encountered. She made sure she was comfortable and very friendly. She needs a raise!!!
