I wish I could give this place 10 stars. I have so much anxiety when it comes to dental procedures that I AVOID THEM COMPLETELY! With my wisdom tooth being impacted and severely inflamed I knew that there was no more putting it off and that I would have to "bite the bullet" and just go no matter what! Needless to say, My anxiety level''s were through the roof when I walked through the door. In a few minutes I was in the dentist chair with my nurse assuring me that we will take the process one step at a time and that it will all be over soon. A little bit of numbing gel, a few needles to sedate me and I was fear free. I truly felt like I was in the hands of family. Bravo to each and every employee at this clinic for sticking it through in these tough times. You are so much appreciate!

Dr Meghan Breemer and her team have been aware of my fears and treated them with respect. My last appointment , even though it was two fillings, had me almost asleep in the chair. Dr Michelle Carlson is absolutely AMAZING!!!! I Couldn't have asked for someone more understanding and patient!! She is always helpful, informative, makes sure your know all your options (and the costs) After my accident I had to have 8 front teeth removed (4 top, 4 bottom) needless to say it was horrible lol. I had to have a bridge on top and bottom replacing those 8 teeth. She was patient and very thorough with everything!!!! From beginning to end! She's been fantastic for everyone I've recommended. She made a horrible accident into a beautiful smile again!! I've had several wonderful comments on my bridges!! 10000000% recommend!!!

Even when my husband had to return several times for the same issue, the staff were very helpful, genuinely wanted to resolve the issue and at no additional charge. A bit more expensive than other dental offices I believe but they have direct billing so that helps a million!

The people at Monterey Dental have totally turned that around for me. Every one of the staff members I've interacted with have not only been positive and professional, but they went above and beyond to keep the mood light and make me feel comfortable and informed about every step of a process that can easily feel intimidating and overwhelming. I haven't had consistent, regular dental checkups in over 20 years, and I'm really looking forward to finding out what it's like to have that again. The entire staff have a dynamic that I have not experienced anywhere else to date. The Dental assistants are on the ball and have everything available as the doctor needs them. Every doctor is extremely knowledgeable and has absolutely no problem stopping for a few moments to help calm any concerns you may have. I have told all of my friends and family to use Monterey Dental for thier oral needs. The Denturist that works with them is very nice and has no problem fixing your dentures until they fit properly

The customer service was pleasant and they treated him kindly. It was an out of pocket cost for our family but they were very sensitive to that matter . This was my first visit to Monterey Dental Centre. I found everyone to be very friendly and helpful. My experience with my cleaning and check up was great as well. Often a cleaning can be very uncomfortable and painful (especially if you haven't been for a while and have a lot of build up) but I found this experience to be tolerable and I was often checked on to make sure I was ok. I had Linda, Olivia, and Dr. Young working on my teeth today and I would say it was a pretty good first impression.

Dr Chris Jones was careful of my tmj and anxiety and my jaw doesn't hurt after a super quick root canel. Didn't make me feel bad about anything. Barley any pain after or during. Monterey Clinic is one of the best Clinic I've ever been to in all the time I've needed a dentist. I moved here from Victoria BC and was recommended to go see Dr Long. He is a fantastic gentleman and the staff are amazing so friendly and they make what could possibly be a very painful experience a very pleasant one. I would highly recommend him and his Clinic to anyone who needs a good dentist and a caring staff. Sept 5th Another great visit to Monterey Dental. I was just being a little bit proactive with a possible tooth problem and dr. Young and the staff were absolutely amazing they put my mind at ease told me that everything looked okay but we would keep an eye on things. I went to have my lower braces recemented on 5 teeth; I drove 20 minutes because they were so highly recommended. On my first visit, they billed me for the cementing an an 'examination'; I asked about the examination and I was told it happened when the doctor came and looked into my mouth for less than 5 minutes. Less than 1 week later, one tooth that they'd done had unbounded and I realized they'd forgotten to do another 2. I called to complain - after having to argue with them about whether it was conventional to replace all the bonds that were originally there, they agreed to fix their mistakes; more arguing later, the fixing was done for free! A few days after the fixing, i realized they had again forgotten to do a tooth. After more arguing with the receptionist, they agreed to again fix their work. We are now on trip 3, with each trip involving 40 mins of driving. Less than 2 months later, another tooth that they worked on has come unbonded. I just can't bring myself to call them again and go in for the 4th time. I'd rather go to a different orthodontist and pay again for better service. Sub-par service and professionalism would be a compliment for this place!

WORST LADY ON THE PHONE EVER, i was booking appointment for my wisdom teeth removed, i asked her if she can send a reminder for me. She said yes. On the appointment day, i received appointment reminder 1 hour (7:40) before my appointment at 8:40, i was still sleeping at that time and i don't know what is the for my appointment. She called me to ask whether im coming or not, when she heard that im still at home. She HUNG UP on me. I know that is my fault for not coming, so i called again to book another appointment, when she hear my voice, she HUNG UP ON ME THE SECOND TIME. Tbh, i will never come to this place ever again. HUNG UP 2 TIMES on customer is not how treat them.

Excellent. Had a root canal done by Dr. Carlson. She was fantastic. She answered all my questions and concerns. She did an amazing job on my crown. I have a perfect smile, but was worried my crowns would ruin it as there were beside my canines and they look like my real teeth not crowns. The fitting was perfect and haven't had any issues since. She even discovered that I had an off bite and fixed it. I've also had my cleaning done and it's the best I've had. Very thorough and the hygienist was very imformative. Shows she values her patients and takes pride in her job. It's unfortunate to see bad reviews, because I've not had one bad experience. I've seen patient act rudely to the staff more times than not. The staff have done their best to make the patient experience pleasant.

Needed to have a tooth removed. My regular dentist is on sabbatical, so I saw Dr Young. He was very kind and has a great chair side manner, he also has a great sense of humor. I know I will be seeing him again while my regular dentist is away. I have been going to Monterrey dental for over 5 years. The front staff are amazing!! The dentists are awesome!! I would.....I have recommended them to all my family and friends. I am a bit of a chicken when it comes to having anything done to my teeth, but they make me feel comfortable and relaxed....(ok I get to take a nice relaxing medication before I go). Regretted visiting this clinic. I was charge $140 for a visit that we didn’t get nothing but referral. I was told my son needs to see a specialist and gave me a piece of paper with their sister company’s contacf info and there I will be charge another $140 just for consultation. Seriously?! They do not have specialist in house. If you are need to have your child checked for dental exam, go to better and more equipped pediatric clinic rather than waste your money here. We got absolutely nothing other than a cheap tootbrush kit for our $140 worth visit!!!

I became very afraid of dentists as a child. Since becoming a patient at Monterey Dental I feel safe to trust them to take care of my teeth. I feel they are very respectful of my anxieties around dental care. The Doctors and hygienists are patient and understanding around tooth sensitivity as well. The areas of concern I see are in relation to the front end staff. You need to be very specific to ensure they understand to only charge you for what is covered by your insurance. More than once they have tried to give us a bill for services we told them we were not interested in due to the services not being covered by our insurance. The staff handling appointments and insurance can often be overheard having inappropriate personal conversations. I am not sure if the staff realize how much their voices carry into the waiting room. It does not present a very professional atmosphere overall in that regard.

All of the staff that I deal with at this clinic are polite and efficient. Dr. Young discovered infection in my gums and treated it immediately. He is also, polite, efficient, gentle and my favorite part, fast! My paper work is done for me and I am urged not to hesitate to get back to them if I have any further trouble.

This is a really good dental office and they always do an excellent job. The staff are super friendly and caring. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they charge slightly more than the Alberta fee guide for routine things like cleanings, fillings, so even though I have full insurance coverage I still have to pay a bit out of pocket every time, and their major services are significantly more than other dentist offices nearby such as crowns, invisalign, implants, etc. that being said if quality is the most important factor for your dental work, this is a fantastic dentist office to go to.

Had 2 or 3 filled and had planned to go back for the others but never got to it. Went to a different dentist recently and had one filling repaired while being told there are no cavities. Definitely something sketchy going on with milking your benefits for all they can.

Appoint was on time. Lots of needles, and little pain. The pill I took last night wore off about 12:30 am so I had to sit around and deal with my angst /anxiety around the house until My appoint,ent time 9 am. The appointment well as I took my last pill at 8;15 in anitiapation of appt time.my mouth froze up well and they did a good job. My only complaint would be 3 pills instead of 2. The night before I toook the first pill and went to bed no propbem. But at 12:40 I woke up and spent many early hrs pacing my house and trying to stay calm for my appointment

I highly recommend Monterey Dental Centre. From the moment you walk in, to the moment you leave, you are treated well. I have been a patient of Dr. Wayne Young and Hamza (hygienist) for a number of years, and wouldn't trust my smile to anyone else. I am really not a big fan of anyone poking around in my mouth, but Hamza and Dr. Young have a way of making my visits entirely tolerable. They are kind and gentle, and respond to your feedback as they regularly check to see how you are doing throughout your visit to ensure your comfort and peace of mind. They are thorough with their examinations, explanations of findings and recommendations for treatment. The administrative staff is also very friendly, effective and efficient. They know who you are when you walk in, and have all of your paperwork processed (via direct billing) and ready to go for you when you are out of the chair, making the tail-end of your time there quick and effortless.

The front staff are friendly and helpful. I took my daughter for her regular dental cleaning. They asked us if we consented to taking xrays and we agreed to it. After cleaning was done,the dental assistant not the dentist came to us and broke out the news that my daughter had six cavities and required 6 fillings. We were too surprised and went to a different dentist with higher ratings for a second opinion. Guess what? my daughter did not have any cavities to begin with. Beware of some crook dentists who only think about emptying your pockets and your insurance dry. I won't take my children to this place ever again. Be ware!

Dr. Breemer saw me and assessed and answered all the questions I had as well as what the possibilities were and worked with me to make a plan. Complete waste of my time to have an orthodontic consult here, I’ve already paid over 10 grand in braces and 4 years later, just two of my teeth started to move and crowd together. They give me a quote for 8 grand with terrible payment options. They don’t even offer a free consultation, a complete waste of my money. I immediately made an appointment at family braces as they have much better payment options and more reasonable prices.

Only giving a 1 star because I cannot choose none. I brought my son to this dentist because of the rave reviews! Well our first visit was good and when I was notified of my son’s annual check up I was more than happy to take him. I consented to an X-ray of my son’s teeth and it did not work out and half of the mouth was readable, no results were discussed with me and then the dentist came in to pick at my son’s teeth for 2 minutes again no results being discussed and the dentist jumped up and said have a good night. Good thing I have coverage of 80% or I would of been paying $250.00 for nothing! When I asked about it the receptionist at the front said well we got his right side. So discouraging what did I just pay for? We will not be back!

When I first went into this dentist office they asked me for a credit card which I don’t have so I told them that sherry said that they would go ahead the appointment that day and she would talk to the office manager so I went in for my appointment today and same thing they wanted me to update my credit card information so again I told them I didn’t have one the receptionist said it was on file that I would bring one in I never said that and again sherry who is very rude said they would do the appointment today but I’ve been informed. I don’t own a credit card I won’t borrow one from someone which they asked me to do and I won’t get one just for them I know two other people who go to this dentist and neither of them have a credit card on file. It’s like your not welcome here unless you have one well news flash not everyone has a credit card. This is such a shame cause I really like the dentist I have been seeing he is amazing and super friendly I don’t want to have to look for a new dentist just because I don’t own a credit card so dumb.

Was very disappointed in safety measures for Covid.Was told I could answer health questions on phone and just call from parking lot to check in. Upon calling from parkingwparking lot was told I would have to do a quick initi al of questionair once inside. Went in was asked to fill out a two page form, and was left to wait in waiting room where others were not wearing masks., so I walked out. Time to find a new dentist. Their flexible hours have helped me in that past when I've needed work done on short notice, like bite adjustments. My dental hygienist, Linda, has helped me incredibly to improve my dental health over the years.
